Hey, kiddos. Feeling pretty good since I've actually been updating my stories. Yaaaay.
And- COWMUFFINS! I'M ON THE 17TH CHAPTER! WHAAAAAT?!
So, basically, I would like to thank my amazing readers for keeping up with this story- and possible all my other ones as well. Love, love, love you all. I especially love my reviewers: y'all are beautiful, amazing people!
Disclaimer: No.
"TETO!" I screamed into the phone while Len frantically put on some pants. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!"
"I don't know how, but over one of the social media sites—which are laaame, by the way—" Teto has a thing against social media sites such as Facebook, Google Plus, and Twitter. It's strange though; she has every single one that has ever come into existence. "—But your location was released. And—oh, look a picture link... let's just click it... OH MY GOD! RIN KAGAMINE WHAT IS UP WITH THIS PICTURE?"
"What picture?" I asked, and then face palmed when I remembered. "WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE WARNED US ABOUT WHAT WAS TO COME!"
"Whatever," Teto said. "I just found this bread bakery shop—"
"TETO!"
"—It was so delicious." I could practically hear her drooling over the phone.
And that's nasty.
"Anyways, stay indoors till the sexy-beast couple comes up there, okay?" Teto said, and I could practically hear the smirk in her voice for some odd, unknown couple.
"'Sexy-beast couple'?" I asked.
"Ted—that crazy boy candy—and myself—a sexy drill-head. Duh. Anyways, got to go. Bye, Rinkins." I sighed and hung up, my mind half scared by the information she had just told me.
"So?" Len asked, now fully dressed, as I was myself.
"She said to stay inside," I replied as Len sat down on the couch and wrapped an arm around me. Mm... he smells good... "L-Lets just watch anime, okay?" I said, turning red from my earlier thought.
"Sure, I suppose. Are you okay? You're all red. Or maybe my sexy-ness is too much for you to handle?" Len asked, nudging me slightly.
"MY GOD, WHAT IS UP WITH THIS WORLD AND THAT WORD?!" I screamed, shaking my head. I then flipped on the T.V, which was set on an interview.
An interview of Luka Megurine.
I stood up in shook. "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!?" I screamed. I exchanged a look with Len, but he looked as shocked as I was.
"So, Luka. Uprising star, supported by Hatsune Miku, neh? What does this feel like?" The interviewer-lady said.
"It feels pretty amazing, actually. I'm really excited... I'm sure you've guessed this, but I've always wanted to be a singer,
LIES!
SHE'S ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A NEUROSURGEON SO THAT SHE COULD CUT PEOPLE'S HEAD OPEN AND POKE AT THEIR BRAINS.
Or something.
"So, who's supporting you? Boyfriend? Best friend? Family? Friends?" The interviewer asked as she crossed her legs.
"All, actually. My boyfriend, Gakupo Kamui is the best guy anyone could ask for..." She mumbled something about 'manservent,' and 'evil.'
Oh, Luka.
"Anyways, I think he might be debuting one song with me, like a duet. Best friend?" She giggled, and I almost face palmed.
She cannot do things like that on camera.
She cannot fangirl over me on camera.
She will because she is Luka Megurine.
"Will, it's the adorable Rin Kagamine, of course!" Luka said wiping out a photo and then pressing it to her cheek.
Aw, fuck.
I rubbed my temples on my head as Len let out a short laugh, and nudged me with his elbow. "That's you!"
"I know that's me," I hissed. "She's totally going to go insane!"
"Oh... oh, that isn't good," Len said, smile fading, and I nodded my head several times.
"Are you actually best friends, or are you just a crazy fan thinking about her in your own world?" The interviewer asked with a big smile.
"Bitch—" Oh my god, Lukkkkkka. What. Are. You. DOING?! "—Of course we are. I know everything about her. Her three sizes? XX, XX, and XX." I turned bright red as Len turned towards me, a perverted smirk on his face as he eyed my body.
"Do not tell me you are thinking about things like that. You cannot," I said.
"Of course I can. I'm your boyfriend," Len said, while wrapping his hand around the back of my head. He then pulled me closer, in for a kiss.
"God damn it," I said as we pulled away. "I hate you."
"Love you too, hunnybun."
"When she was three, she had a fear of butterflies and cameras." I groaned and buried my face into my knees as Len burst out laughing. "When she was seven—"
"Okay, we get the point," The lady said. "But couldn't that be that you are just a very well informed stalker?"
Don't explode.
Please, don't explode.
Oh god, she's going to explode on live, national television.
I wiped my phone out and quickly called her. On TV, her phone rang. She looked down, as if to turn it if, then saw who it was, smirked, held a finger up to the audience, and answered. "Hey, Rin."
"LUKA IF YOU FUCKING EXPLODE I WILL KILL YOU! SCREW IT, I'M ALREADY GOING TO KILL YOU! WHO SAID THAT YOU COULD SAY THAT STUFF ABOUT ME ON TV!" I screamed.
"Aw, Rin—" The audience and interviewers interest perked up. "—You know I did that because of my love for you."
"LUKA!" I screamed, but she kept on smiling.
"Am I to believe that is really Rin Kagamine on the phone?" The interview-er lady asked, and Luka nodded her head. "Well, I don't. That could have been fixed up."
"OH MY GOD YOU FU—" Luka started.
"LUKA! DEEP BREATHS. KILL ANYONE AND YOU WILL GO TO JAIL MEANING NO ME, GAKUPO, OR TUNA!" I screamed.
She gasped. "No tuna?"
"No tuna," I repeated.
"Fine." Luka then turned back to the lady. "Get a laptop for me. Rin, get on Skype." I facepalmed, but quickly did so. She then got online, and I clicked it. Len got into the picture.
"Hey, Rin," Luka said cheerfully as Len got into the picture. "Len! Why am I not surprised to see you since I saw you last week?"
"Um, because you saw me here with her last week?" Len said, asking more than answering.
"Oh my God!" The interviewer lady said.
"Don't take God's name in vain. People get offended," Luka said to her.
"I take you are very religious?" She asked Luka.
"What? No," Luka said with a snort. "I'm atheist."
"Right... anyways, it's really Rin—and LEN!- Kagamine!" Why did she sound so much more excited to hear about Len than me?! I'm plenty sexy.
"Suck it, lady," Luka said, and I face palmed.
"Luka. You're on TV. Pay more attention to your image," I said as the screen blurred a little and then cleared.
"Speaking of which... Len and Rin Kagamine... you two are quite the topic right now," the lady said. I wonder what her name is. "Is it true that you eloped?"
"Um, no. We're dating, that's it," I said as Len playfully kissed me on the cheek.
"Those rumours have been confirmed, then! Congrats!"
"Whatever," I huffed.
"Is it true Luka is your best friend?"
"Sadly, yes. Now, I'm going to exit. Luka, next time you visit, I'm going to kill you, okay?"
"Love you too, Rinny!"
I exited out of the screen and then sighed deeply. "She will be the death of me," I told Len, who laughed and nodded his head.
"She will be the death of us all."
The interview continued. Apparently Miku, while going through our town, had heard Luka singing, and was blown away. Somehow, twenty four hours later, Luka was under contract and was supposed to be the next big thing.
"So, Luka. Would you like to finish by singing us a song of yours? And, which genre do you sing?"
"I'm more of anything. And I would love to sing a song." The lady got up and showed her to a little area set up with instruments and a microphone for Luka to use, people already the instruments. Gakupo was on guitar, and Luka gave him a kiss on the cheek before turning to the mic.
"Hey, everyone. My name is Luka Megurine as you know, and I'm going to sing an original song—meaning I wrote and composted it—for you all, neh? It's called 'For a Dead Girl Plus,' and it's... well, it's not exactly one of those love story songs. So, let's get started?"
It began nicely, a good beat, then evolving into something quite different. Luka bobbed her head along with the music slightly, and then began singing. Her voice was soft, yet somehow... powerful, I suppose. There was a part where there was this long instrumental pause, and Luka swayed slightly to the song, eyes closed.
Her eyes then flew open, and she screamed like I have never heard before.
It. Was. Insane. The song blew me away—as well as the audience, judging by their cheers. At the end she did that same scream, holding it for a good ten seconds. Gakupo smiled at her as he played, obviously the only one expecting this, and, too quickly, the song ended.
"That was... amazing..." The lady said, and Luka smirked at her.
"I know it was... but thanks." Goodbye and thanks were said, and then the show ended, with promises for another famous person next week.
"Well that was... insane," Len said.
"Agreed," I replied.
"Your best friend seems to be pretty amazing," Ted said.
"Yeah. She's really pretty too," replied Teto.
"Of course," I said with pride.
Wait.
"HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET INTO HERE?" I screamed while jumping up and pointing a finger at them. Teto laughed like the crazy maniac she is, and shrugged.
"Anyways, we set a press conference up for you outside, I guess. Last minute, so good luck!" Teto said while she gave me a double thumbs up.
I sighed and walked outside, Len's arm draped around me, only to have the flash of a billion cameras in my eye. I turned to the side to see that a little table had been set up, with four seats. I sat down next to Len on the left side while Ted and Teto took the right.
"We won't be answering many questions today," Teto started, suddenly turning professional. "Rin and Len will tell you their story."
I gulped slightly and stared into the crowd. Some of the Len fangirls (and occasional boys) were wearing shirts like 'DIE RIN KAGAMINE!' or 'LENNY IS MINE!' Some of my fans had posters of Len's face, a big X going through it. Others, however, were swooning at us, smiling and cheering us on. At the front stood the news-tabloid-people.
Len took my hand underneath the table, and, with a deep breath, I began talking. "Hello, my name is Rin Kagamine, and that is Len Kagamine, as you may know. Our story is that we both got parts under Kiyoteru Hiyama, for a new movie. He declared our acting too dry around one another, and told us to stay in his villa for the next two months, so that we can actually learn to like each other."
"You didn't before?" Someone from the crowd asked.
"No, I hated her. With passion," Len said. "And somehow that hateful passion turned into liking, and maybe, who knows? Maybe it'll be love one day." I turned bright red, but had my face remain stern and business like.
"We're dating, but have no eloped. Now... that's basically it, so questions."
"How many children do you have?"
"None. I'm still a virgin."
"How many do you want?"
"As of right now? I have no idea. I'm not thinking that far into it."
"Do your parents approve?"
"Yes."
"Do you like tomatoes?"
"I do not see how that is relevant, but no."
"Would you commit suicide so that I could finally have Len?"
"No."
"Do you love Len Kagamine?"
My eyes widened and I turned bright red. "No... not yet. I like him."
On and on the questions went, a bottomless pit of nonsense that I couldn't care about. I didn't care about these people's opinion... well, no. I'm human; of course I do. That's why I'm going through this shit. An hour passed, and then another. A torrent of questions, never ending, mainly directed at Len and myself, although sometimes towards Teto or Ted.
"Okay," Len said, standing up, sounding annoyed. I looked up at him. "I'm going to put this as bluntly as possible," he said. He reached down and then suddenly we were kissing.
I stared at him with wide eyes, but his eyes remained closed, and eventually I closed mine.
I'm sure I was bright red when he had pulled away, but he just glared at the crowd, and then bowed. I followed his suit. "I hope you approve our relationship," Len said. He then rose, wrapped an arm around me, and walked back to the villa, dragging me along with him.
Inside I slapped him a high five and gave out a little laugh. He picked me up and I smiled down at him as he spun me a little. "That was torture," Len said, and then he gave me a kiss.
"Agreed," I said, pulling away briefly for a second. "We're alone, now."
"Oh, yeah. Let's have some fun, girl."
"It'll be intense, though."
"Wouldn't want it any other way."
"Anime?"
"Anime."
We fist-pumped again, and Len began carrying me into the living room.
Suddenly there was a boy standing in front of us.
I swear, he was not there two seconds ago.
Gray hair, red eyes, and the scariest 'KILL-LEN!' shirt I had seen so far.
"Rin Kagamine. Teiru sees Rin Kagamine. Rin Kagamine alert. Teiru sees Rin Kagamine," the boy said, and I exchanged a look with Len.
"Hi... who are you and what the hell are you doing in our house?" Len asked politely.
"Len Kagamine. Target found. Eliminating Len Kagamine." He was glaring at Len, a look that would make someone like Voldemort want to run away (well, no. The Dark Lord would never do something like that).
But is he going to shot lasers from his eyes that will kill Len or something?!
"Um... calm down," I said warily, freaked out. He stopped glaring at Len and smiled brilliantly at me.
"Rin talked to Teiru. Love confirmed."
"WHAT?!" Len and I both screamed.
"Sit down," Teiru-The-Human-Robot-said. "Sit down or suffer."
We both sat down.
"Teiru has a story. Teiru will tell it."
"Why are you speaking in third person?" Len asked.
"Shut up, bitch," Tei snarled.
"Hey!" I said, making a motion to stand up. Len grabbed my arm, shook his head, and sat back down.
"Teiru had always loved his twin sister, Tei. Tei was to stay with Teiru forever. Tei and Teiru. Teiru and Tei. Twins together forever. Then Tei found Mikuo." His glare intensified. "Mikuo, Mikuo," he chanted. "Tei and Mikuo moved to America, leaving Teiru alone. Tei. Where is Tei?" His hands shook lightly, and I saw a flash of silver. "Then Auntie Haku showed Teiru a Rin Kagamine movie."
"'Auntie Haku'? He's related to Haku?!" I whispered to Len, who just shrugged.
"Teiru fell in love again. Teiru loves Rin. Teiru and Rin will be together forever, for the rest of life, for the rest of eternity."
Len stood up. "Sorry, but Rin's mine." I felt heat rush up to my face. "We already had to deal with one bitch... we don't need another one," Len said. "So... go home."
"Home? Teiru has no home. Teiru is now home. Teiru is going to be here. Teiru is going to live here with Rin forever."
"You can't stay here," Len said.
"Teiru will stay here no matter what. Teiru will. Teiru will." I exchanged a glance with Len, trying to figure out what to do.
"We'll call Teto in. She could destroy him," I said, flipping my phone open. Teto didn't answer. Her voice mail only said that she would be doing some censored things with Ted, eeeeew. "She's isn't answering."
"Luka. She's insane."
"True." I tried calling her. "She isn't answering," I replied. Suddenly all the bars were gone from my phone. "What happened?"
"Teiru couldn't let you call someone. Teiru says sorry, but Teiru had to for his love."
"We can just leave," I replied, feeling slightly panicked.
"Teiru won't let you. Teiru won't let you," He chanted. I gulped and looked at Len for a solution. He shrugged.
We were stuck at home with a crazy psychopath who seemed to be in love with me.
I yawned and stretched my arms. "Well, it's been a tiring night. I'm beat. Teiru, I'll see you in the morning, honey," I replied, and then kissed him on the cheek. He blushed and rose a hand up to his face.
I'm such an amazing actor.
"Night," I said, and then raced up the stairs, two at a time. I then buried myself under the covers, locking the door before I did so.
"Len," I said in relief, and then collapsed into his arms as soon as he opened in the door.
"Rin!"
"He's asleep right?"
"If robots sleep," Len said, "Then yes. Man, he's insane. And, what was that earlier?" He glared at me.
"I figured that if I went along with it, no one would end up getting killed. Let me in?" Len nodded his head thoughtfully, and allowed me to enter his room.
"He's like Juvia," Len said.
"Correction: Juvia is an amazing badass, who also happens to be a stalker," I replied instantly.
"True," Len said. He then locked the door, grabbed my hand, and then collapsed onto the bed, pulling me down so that I landed ontop of him.
"I'm going to stay here tonight. He freaks the shit out of me," I said.
"I was about to say that you should," Len replied, pulling me close.
"What do we do?"
"I don't know." I sighed, racking my brain for a plan. "For now I'm just going to go along with it, okay?" I told Len.
"What? NO! You're my girl, we are together, he is insane, and I like you," Len ranted, and I blushed lightly.
"I like you, too. I especially would like if you didn't end up headless by the end of this."
"Fine," Len grumbled. "But... days you go to him. Nights go to me, okay?" Len said, pulling me under the covers, then wrapping his arms around me.
"Deal."
Wow, was not planning that. Did not know how that ended up happening... do not ask...
