ALRIGHT EVERYONE! Sorry for the late update, my account decided to lock me from updating. D: ANYWAY! This is an awesmazing request from JimmyxHeloise4ever. The ship Corney and the song is I Love You by Avril Lavigne! :D ENJOY!

Today is the most amazing day of my life... Even if it started with something so simple just two days ago, it all started one night when the boys in my band decided to have a sleep over. Let's start there.

I laid there awake just staring at the ceiling as my band mates around me were sleeping with ease. I can't believe they can sleep even though just a minute ago they were all bouncing against the walls. I looked to my left to see the twins, Kin and Kon, sleeping nosily as they were leaning on each other on the couch. I couldn't believe Kon didn't crush his smaller (But oddly older) twin brother in that position. I then looked to my right to see my best friend and secret crush for years, Corey Riffin, sleeping there silently. I couldn't help but smile at him. As I said I had a 'secret' crush on him for years so don't judge me on watching him sleep. He then turned to his side that had him face me in his sleep. He then mumbled something that I could hear as loud as day. "I love you Lanes." I just stared at him at shock and then turned my head back to the ceiling knowing that he was still asleep. I was confused on this, my best friend and crush just said in his sleep that he loved me... I then closed my eyes. I must be dreaming, if not, I'll double check with the twins just in case in the morning. Before I fell I asleep, an old saying popped into my head, 'You can't sleep at night, because someone is dreaming about you'. I then automatically fell into a dreamless sleep.

The next morning Core woke up early like always to get breakfast ready for us all as I had to get the twins up after changing, like always. I decided now was a good chance to ask them as Core was busy. I watch Kin up first knowing his scream would watch up Kon like usual. Which ended with Kin being crushed by Kon for a few seconds. "Morning guys. Hey, I got something to ask you two." Kin then looked at me as his brother drooled at the smell of breakfast. "What is it Laney?" I scratched the back of my neck before telling them about last night. Kin just nodded as his brother snapped back to reality. "So, I was thinking through the night about this, does Core like me?" Kin just whistled as Kon looked around the room for something to change the topic on. "Guys." I put on my dark voice scaring both of the boys in front of me."Yes alright? Core likes you. Just put that creepy voice away!" I then looked at the two in shock. "R-Really?" Kin nodded as Kon pulled up a sign that said 'YES' in big green letters. "We also know that you like him too. We can help with that." Kon commented making me blush a little. "How's that?" Kin just smirked and added to his brother's comment. "We can help you by getting you a gig in front of Corey. All you got to do is write a song about how you feel by tomorrow and we got the rest. But, it has to be a secret." I then smiled. I already had a song written for Core, I just never thought I would use it thanks to his oblivious behavior. "Got it. and already done." Right then Core came in smiling. "Breakfast time guys and gal! Also, Kon~! I made your favorite!" Kon then raced to the kitchen happily making us all laugh as he yelled out, 'GRILLED CHEESE' at the top of his lungs.

The day pasted quickly and now I was standing behind stage with Kin as Kon talked with Core in front of the stage to keep him there. "Alright Laney, we got help from some people that owe me and Kon a few to help out with the instruments. All you go to do is sing and play guitar... You can play guitar right?" I nodded after rolling my eyes at the shorter pre-teen. "Yeah I can play guitar. I just don't know if Core will like the song." He just smirked at me knowing I was worried. "Trust me , he will Laney. Now, LET'S ROCK!" He run onto the stage as I walked up the steps to see the stage was blocked off by red curtains. I walked up to the mic and swallowed hard. I never sang by my self before, I was always a back up singer. But, this is for Core. The curtains were raised as Mayor Mellow introduced us. "Now, two members of Grojband have a special treat for us tonight. GIVE IT UP FOR LANEY PENN, KIN KUJIRA AND TWO RANDOM KIDS I DON'T KNOW THE NAMES OF!"I found Core in the crowd as I was about to announce our song. "Hey everyone. I'm Laney Penn as some of you might know, this is a special song I wrote a while ago for someone special to me. So Core, I hope you like it." I started playing the small guitar intro as I took a breath before I started to sing. (A/N: I DID blocked out the 'Grown Up Line' part the that JimmyxHeloise4ever ask me to block out, but I put the full lyrics here instead of just the first part. :P)
