Now, this might be a little long because I just let my insane mind go wild on this request because she/he told me they wanted to have something original so you've been warned. I sat on the wings in the park, slowly tightening my grip on the chains of the wing as I watched the other kids play with there friends or talking to their parents. I hated being the only kid that had no parents around, because my dad left and my mom is always at work or on business trips, and no one talked to me because I was the 'weird kid' all because of my pale blue eyes, and naturally colored blue hair. My mom always told me it made me original but to the other kids, it just made me a weird. I looked down at the ground and closed my eyes. I wanted to hide away from the kids who pushed me around everyday at school, I wanted to find my saving grace and run away from all the eyes that fall on me everyday. I sang a soft verse of a song I've been working on for a while now. "Well there's nothing to hide and nothing to prove. Give me all that you are, you've got nothing to lose. Just don't let me be lonely, no don't let me be lonely." I then heard foot steps. I opened my eyes quickly to see combat boots. I looked up to see a boy with red hair, a smile plastered on his face, a green shirt that had black strips on it, and red jeans but, the two things that got me hooked on him though was the two sea green eyes that showed happiness and curiosity. "Hi." I was taken back for a second. No one really just came up to me and said 'Hi' or anything at all unless it was a harsh greeting. "Um, hi." The boy smiled bigger. "I'm Leonard Nepp. I'm new here, I just actually got here ten minutes ago. What's your name?" He had his hand out to me ready to shake. I took it shyly and shook it once as I said my name. "I'm Caroline Beff." Leonard's eyes went huge at my first name. "Whoa, pretty name but it's a little long, how about I call you Carrie for short?" I smiled at his complement. "Sure, as long as I can call you Lenny." He smiled back and nodded. "Sure! Hey wanna play tag with me and my sister?" I smiled and nodded in agreement. "Cool! Come on she's over there with our friend Corey, trust me he doesn't bite... I think." The rest of that day Lenny, his sister Laney, Corey and me played and became friends. If only I knew that Corey and I wouldn't be very 'friendly' with each other then I would of asked if he could just swing with me.
Seven years later,I was sitting with Lenny on my living room couch right after Corey finally said he loved being friends with Laney and Lenny, but he didn't like me. I could of just said I didn't care but I did. He was one of my only 'friends'. Laney left with Corey because one, we all knew set for Corey that she liked him ever sense we were seven when she met him, and two they were best friends that were inseparable like me and Lenny are, even though I've been feeling like I want to be more then that to him but, I don't want to be lonely again. Right now Lenny sat by my side even though he knew that knowing Corey hating me back didn't bother me much, but he did know that I cared about the band more then anything because it was the only thing that allowed me to be myself. He looked over at me not long after figuring out I was lost in thought. "Care? Are you alright? You were off in space there." I nodded after I snapped back into reality. "Yeah, I'm fine Lens. Thanks for bringing me back to Earth there." He just smiled. "No problem but, don't lie to me Care, I know you're not happy about this. You can tell me anything you know. I am your best friend after all." I turned and fully faced him. "It's just, I always knew that Corey hated me and I pretty much hated him back and everything but, the music we all worked on together, how close we all were with each other and everything and the whole nine yards means so much much to me. But now, it's all down the drain." Lenny just smiled. "What are you smiling about? This is appose to be depressing, not happy." He laughed at that lightly. "It's just that, all because they're not in the band doesn't means me,you, and Lane can't be friends still, also we can still play music and you still got a voice and a mouth for singing right?" I smiled at that. "True. I have been working on something for a long while now but I think you might like it." He smiled. "Then play is Ms. Rockgoddest." I laughed before playing the slow intro on my acoustic guitar.

He stared at me after I finished. "Whoa. That. Was. Amazing. Just, wow. You did really awesome with the lyrics Care." He smiled at the end that made me almost release a tough to hold down blush. "Thanks Lens." He hugged me after I said that which did actually make me blush. But the thing he had me freeze on was what he whispered. "I won't let you be lonely. You know that." He pulled away as I gave him a 'How that heck did you know it was about you?' look. He laughed a little and smiled. "Well, who else do you know that knows you were lonely before other then Lanes? Also, who in the world knows you better then I do?" I nodded. "True." He got a text on his phone. "I got to go. But, before I leave," Before I could ask what he was about to do, he just kissed me. It was quick but at the same time everything I wanted it to be. He pulled away about ten seconds later and smiled. "I'll see you tomorrow Care." I just nodded as he laughed a little. With that he left. I touched my lips as I seen him smiling as he walked down the block. "See ya tomorrow Lens."
