AN: Here's another instalment. Now, the ending parts are going to be a little different from the movie, in that the lines will be a little different, but everything else is the same. Anyway, enjoy.

Previously:"Well, I thought he'd never leave." Annabeth's eyes went wide and she stood up quickly,

"Mother."

"Hello dear," Hera said casually.

"H-how..I-I...How did you find me?" Annabeth said, a million things racing through her head. She'll take me back...Percy is in danger...I'm in danger...

"Oh it was easy. I just followed the sound of complete and utter betrayal and followed that." Hera said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Mother," Annabeth started.

"We're going home, Annabeth." Hera interrupted, "now."

"You-you don't understand. I've been on the most incredible journey," Annabeth said, wanting to change her mothers mind, "I've seen and learned so much; I even met someone."

"Yes, the wanted thief, or shall I say the runaway prince," Hera scowled, "I'm so proud." She pulled Annabeth away, "come on Annabeth."

"Mother wait, I think...I think he likes me." Annabeth said gingerly.

"Likes you, please Annabeth, that's demented!" Hera said turning back to face Annabeth. "This is why you never should have left. Dear this whole romance that you've invented just proves you're too naive to be here." She said as if talking to a five year old. That tone always annoyed Annabeth. "Why would he like you, come on now really. Look at you! You think that he's impressed? He has been around high class ladies all his life, you're hardly worth his time. Don't be a dummy, come with mummy." Hera said holding out her arms for Annabeth to hug her.

"No!" Annabeth shouted. This made Hera pause, and a dark look showed on her face.

"No? Oh, I see how it is." She stalked closer to Annabeth. "Apparently Annabeth knows best, Annabeth is so mature now; so clever and grown up. If you know best, my dear, then give him this!" She thrust the satchel with the lost princesses crown in it in to Annabeth's arms.

"How did you-" Annabeth started.

"This is the only reason he's here, Annabeth. It's all he cares about. He doesn't care about you, or taking responsibility for his actions, or even for his home country. Don't let him deceive you. Give it to him and you'll see."

"I trust him!" Annabeth said, fists clenched.

"Trust me, my dear, that's how fast he'll leave you," Hera snapped her fingers then crossed her arms, "I won't say I told you so. No, apparently you know best, so if he's such a dream boat, go and put his heart to the test." She walked away, but before she disappeared from view, Hera turned once more, "If he's lying, don't come crying back to me, because only I know what's best for you." And with a flurry of her cloak, Hera was gone.

Annabeth clutched the satchel to her chest, her heart racing. Was what her mother had said true? Did Percy only care about money? She decided to wait and see before she gave him the satchel. She heard footsteps approach and Percy say,

"So, uh, can I ask you something?" Annabeth hurried to hide the satchel and faced him, "Is there any chance that I'm going to get super strength in my hand? Because I'm not going to lie, that would be stupendous." He set the firewood down beside the fire pit, and glanced at Annabeth's face. "Hey, you alright?"

"Oh, sorry, yes. Just lost in thought, I guess." Annabeth said, putting on a fake smile. She listened as Percy babbled on,

"I mean because here's the thing. Superhuman good looks, I've always had 'em; born with it. But superhuman strength? Imagine the possibilities, I'm just..."

Off in the bushes, Hera, and Travis and Conner Stoll were listening in. The brothers moved to take Percy out, but Hera stopped them.

"Patience boys. All good things to those who wait."

AN: There you have it. I'm excited to write the end parts because it's going to be awesome. :D Let me know what you think, and please leave any suggestions that you feel might make it better.
