AN: And another chapter. Things are gonna get a little different than the movie now, just to keep things interesting. I hope I do well. I've also kind of left Pascal out by accident, and it would be too much to go back and rewrite him in. So, i apologize for leaving him out.

Percy glanced over Annabeth's shoulder right before they closed the kiss, and saw a pale green light on the shore, about a hundred metres from them. The strange light reflected off the faces of the Stoll brothers. Percy drew back from Annabeth a bit and thought, they're never going to stop chasing me for the crown. I have to make things right before I can become Prince Perseus again.

"Is everything okay?" Annabeth asked Percy, her grey eyes flashing concern.

"Huh? Oh yes, yeah, of course." Percy stammered, coming out of his own thoughts. "I just...have something..." Percy rowed back to the shore in a few minutes and hopped out. He pulled the boat up, and picked up the satchel with the crown. "There's just something I have to take care of." He said. Annabeth nodded. Percy smiled at her and brushed a lock of hair behind her ear. "I'll be right back," He went off down the shore and out of sight.

Annabeth sighed long, "It's alright, he'll be back." She told herself.

Percy walked along the shore, knots forming in his stomach. "Just go, give it back, apologize, part ways." He tried to convince himself that it would be easy. The look the brothers had given him from the shore indicated that they knew more about him, maybe even about his old life. He put speculations aside as he saw the Stolls on the beach ahead.

"Ahh, there you are." He said, putting on his indifferent thief persona, "I've been searching out everywhere for you guys since we got separated." He strolled along to stand close to the brothers. "Hey the sideburns are coming in nice." He said, pointing to Connor Stolls very large sideburns. "Anyway, just wanted to say, I shouldn't have split, the crown is all yours." He threw the crown onto the ground. "I'll miss you, but I think it's for the...best" he tried to back up but Connor Stoll was behind him, blocking his exit. Percy's heart began to beat faster.

"Holding out on us again, eh Jackson." Travis said, spitting out his name.

"What?" Percy look at them confused.

"We heard you found something much more valuable than a crown." Travis said, walking towards Percy, kicking the satchel out of the way. The crown spilled onto the stone beach. "We want her, instead." Percy's stomach dropped and he went pale. They didn't want him at all, they wanted Annabeth.

"No way, you'll have to go through me first." Percy said, going to draw his sword, Riptide, but remembered that he had left all ties to his royal life at the palace, so didn't have Riptide with him. The Stolls just chuckled, and Percy's vision went black.

AN: There it is. Please read and tell me what you think. Bigger deviations from the movie are to come, so stay tuned. Thanks!
