Yikes! It's been a while since I updated- I only updated once in May. Sorry for the long update time, but it's final exam/final projects time at school... need I say more? I've been pretty busy. I can't totally blame school, though- I've been trying to juggle writing this with other hobbies; there have been a couple of times where I've sat down at my computer intending to write this and have ended up doing something else... then I'd get annoyed at myself for not writing it. I'm also annoyed at myself for taking so long to update, though maybe I'm just weird that way.

Something very significant happens in this chapter, and the story moves forward. In this chapter is a part in Neverland about the other fairies trying to open the portal, which obviously won't feature the main characters- however, even though I'm going to include other characters, this story is still going to be centered around Anna/Tink/Elsa/Peri.

I'm also totally messing with the time-line of The Pirate Fairy because chapter 5 seems like it would be before The Pirate Fairy, because Zarina was doing the experiments in secret and they were forbidden, but this chapter is definitely after it... maybe Chapter 5 could still be after it, and she just wasn't supposed to give her creations to people or maybe she wasn't supposed to do any other experiments with Pixie Dust... I'm confusing myself; I guess it'll just be slightly non-canon (though it already is anyway- this is Fanfiction) and be after The Pirate Fairy. I hope nobody minds- this is an Alternate Universe fic anyways.

There are references to the Disney Fairies books by Gail Carson Levine in this chapter, so she gets credit for the stories and some characters though I am changing some parts of the stories, too, including switching around the order of them

Tink and Peri returned to Elsa and Anna, after figuring out that they could not get to Neverland. This was rather depressing news, because so far Arendelle hadn't been too kind to them. Both fairies had almost died twice and it wasn't even mid-day. Needless to say, they weren't all that fond of Arendelle. Sure, there were hawk attacks in Neverland but they weren't as disastrous as the one they'd just experienced- not even Tink's first experience with a hawk attack, where she'd almost caused Vidia to be caught and made all the fairies attack the hawk with projectiles.

Not being able to return to Neverland meant not knowing quite what to do at the moment. Obviously they'd have to wait to get home, but what would they do until the second star to the right let them back in Neverland. Both fairies were rather annoyed at the star for locking them out. Why was it that the first time such a thing would happen, Tink thought, it would happen to her.

Tink and Peri discussed what to do in low voices, away from the prying ears of Anna. Tink suggested that they start trying to get Elsa and Anna home. She said it in a rather uncertain tone- she really wanted to figure out why Anna could understand fairies, and Peri desperately wanted to fix the issue of Elsa hogging the frost-powers. If they found Anna and Elsa's home, then obviously the girls would stay there. However, the one thing Tink remembered about completing somebody was that part of it had to be done in Neverland.

This would mean that if they thought they'd found a way to fix Peri's talent problems, they wouldn't actually be able to know if Peri and Elsa were using them at the same time without traveling back to Arendelle. Sure, they could know if Peri didn't feel the talent abandon her anymore, even without Elsa there, but how would they know if Peri accidentally stole all the powers from Elsa? It was rather clear that they needed Elsa to be with them, so why not let Anna tag along? After all, Tink still wanted to figure out how she understood fairies.

So they decided that maybe they shouldn't try to get Anna and Elsa home right away (neither fairy even considered what the girls' parents must be going through, not knowing where their daughters were. The whole concept of parents was rather foreign to the fairies, as fairies didn't have any. Technically, whichever child laughed a fairy could be considered that fairy's parent, meaning that Elsa could be considered to be Tink's and Peri's mother, but it really wasn't the same thing at all). Also, the fairies didn't bother to consult with Anna and Elsa, because neither fairy would have felt comfortable with an eight-year-old -or even worse, a hyper five-year-old- leading the group, so the fairies had chosen to lead it themselves. Anna and Elsa didn't seem to mind, though- actually, they didn't even seem to notice that the fairy twins had proclaimed themselves the leaders.

Tink was still racking her brain, trying to remember where she'd heard about someone completing a Clumsy (Presumably one could use the same method for completing a Clumsy as completing a fairy). Tink was positive that it was possible to complete someone. She knew one of her friends had told her about it (had actually done it, too), but for the life of her she could not remember which one- and she hadn't even started trying to remember how they'd done it.

Tink sighed and delved deeper into her memories, going through them the same way she would go through her extremely messy pile of spare parts and Lost Things in her tinkering workshop back in Pixie Hollow, by digging through the vast assortment of unrelated things trying to find the part (or in this case, the memory) she needed. Trying to find a hidden memory was harder than trying to find a spare part, though, because nobody could help her look for a memory, and she wasn't even sure which memory she was looking for. Still, Tink was determined to figure this out.

Elsa and Anna were growing impatient, and they occupied the time by throwing snow at each other, laughing when they hit the other, and groaning when they missed. Elsa had a somewhat unfair advantage- even though she'd said she wouldn't use her powers, Anna couldn't help feeling that she was using them anyway. At one point, Anna exuberantly heaved about five snowballs at Elsa, all at the same time. Most of them missed Anna's target- only one hit Elsa, barely grazing her foot- but one accidentally hit Peri.

It was a good thing that it had hit Peri and not Tink. If it had hit Tink, the tinker-fairy may have flipped out a bit at the freezing surprise. Although Tink generally liked snowball fights, the snowballs Anna and Elsa were making were about as tall as she was, and would definitely hurt any fairy that wasn't a frost-talent. Peri thought this was hysterical, however, and she soon joined the fight, flying up to Elsa and shooting snow in her face. Elsa cut Peri off by seizing control of the powers and retaliated by shooting a huge snowball at Peri.

The abrupt loss of her powers deflated Peri's mood again, and she glumly flew back to Tink, who tried to cheer her up again. After a bit, Tink tried to get the girls' attention but not get hit by any of the snowballs, which were going in increasingly random directions as Elsa and Anna threw them wildly around. Tink finally got their attention, and told them to follow her. Instead of telling Elsa what Tink had said, Anna simply grabbed her sister's hand and pulled her along.

Tink fluttered around with Peri, frequently looking over her shoulder to make sure Elsa and Anna were still following them. Finally she found what she was looking for- a section of the woods where the trees weren't too close together. This would be the perfect place to build a shelter. She stopped, as she hit that little snag. Tink hadn't actually considered what they'd make the shelter out of.

Her first thought was that they could make a tent out of a couple twigs, until she remembered that Anna and Elsa were inconveniently too big for that. The using sticks idea was ruled out because they hadn't found any really big sticks when they were looking for firewood earlier- they certainly hadn't found anything large enough to cover Elsa and Anna.

Peri pulled Tink down to the ground and grabbed a heap of snow, patting it down with her hands into a snowball before rolling it in the snow, her frost talent making it go much quicker and making the snowball smoother and stronger. Tink stared at her, wondering why her twin was playing with snow when they were supposed to be looking for a shelter. However, Tink didn't get a chance to ask Peri why she was doing it.

As soon as Tink opened her mouth, Peri used her powers to shoot some snow in Tink's face and inform her "I'm building a snow fort." Peri then added "I would've thought that with your whole 'tinker-talent' thing, you'd have thought of this before me." Peri smirked, shot some more snow in Tink's face, and continued teasingly "I guess I'm just smarter than you."

Tink didn't bother responding beyond rolling her eyes. She'd never built a snow fort before, so how was she supposed to think of it? Meanwhile, Peri was calling out to Anna, who had continued her snowball fight with Elsa, only the fight was pretty pathetic now because both of them were tiring out. After getting Anna's attention, Peri asked if both of them could help make a shelter out of the snow.

As soon as Anna told Elsa what Peri had said, Elsa stated proudly that she could make "the best snow-fort ever" with her magic. It turned out she couldn't, though, because she had already used so much magic that day so she was almost out. She managed to craft the walls- which were made out of ice and intricately decorated- before she exhausted her powers.

So now they had four rather fancy walls, but no roof to cover them. Peri tried to use her powers, as she hadn't used them much that day. Unfortunately, since she shared the powers with Elsa, Peri could not make much snow or ice because Elsa had used almost all of the magic. She managed to make the door and a nice latch to go with it before her powers quit, too. (Tink suggested the latch, and Peri was beginning to wonder if she was passing cautious and going on paranoid. However, Anna had mentioned being chased by the Duke's guards, so hopefully this would keep them out). They still needed the roof, so they wouldn't get bombarded by another hawk.

Even though Peri couldn't make snow or ice at the moment, she wasn't completely out of tricks. Although making snow was the main thing frost-fairies did, they weren't limited to that. They could do some neat things with the snow they made, including things that should be impossible like rolling a sheet of snow up like a blanket. However, these things were more like party tricks and weren't all that important to the frost-fairy talent- so if Peri lost her ability to make snow and ice, she'd still pretty much be talentless.

Peri was going to do one of those tricks that were impossible unless you were a frost-fairy. Pinching the snow between her fingers, Peri focused as she yanked upwards. What happened was rather astounding. Instead of just pulling up a tiny bit of snow, Peri held an entire sheet of snow, with just a tiny bit between her fingers. The snow didn't fall apart- it didn't even droop down like cloth would. If Peri had wanted it to act like cloth, she could have made it do so- one of the perks of being a fairy was being able to do things that ignored the laws of physics.

Flying over to the 'castle walls' (the ice walls Elsa had made looked like the walls of a castle), Peri placed the snow over the walls and began to mold it, shaping it into a simple roof.

They now had the oddest looking shelter ever. The shelter looked as if somebody had torn off the roof of a castle and replaced it with the roof of a cottage before removing all the color from both. The shelter had no windows, but since most of it was made of ice, the translucent walls would let natural light in. Overall, it was rather small, but it was big enough to comfortably hold two children and two fairies, though a shelter didn't have to be any larger than a pot in order to hold two fairies comfortably. There was some room for Anna and Elsa to move around, but they didn't have enough space to run amok or anything.

Using all the magic she'd used that day had drained Elsa of her energy. She had used a lot more magic than she had on any other day, but that might have been because she had a couple days' worth stored up She'd really been trying to hold it in when the Duke of Weselton and his guards were staying at the castle after her parents had explained how important it was for them not to know. Additionally, Elsa had been holding it in because she'd gotten in trouble a little bit ago when she'd made snow in the castle and it had left a huge puddle on the floor- which was why she'd convinced Anna to go outside earlier that morning in the first place.

The foursome went inside their new ice hideout and slid the latch shut. Elsa's eyes were drooping, and she immediately flopped over in the snow and began to drift off to sleep. Anna wasn't as tired, as she seemed to not need as much sleep as most people, but for once she wasn't restless, and was perfectly content to curl up with Elsa on the snow. Anna rested her head on Elsa's arm, using it as a pillow. She draped her legs over Elsa to avoid contact with the snow, though her coat and boots protected her torso and feet, so it didn't matter that those were pressed against the snowy ground. Elsa and Anna put their heads together, both giving small smiles as they did so.

Peri and Tink watched, smiling at the cuteness of the girls snuggling up together. Peri then pulled Tink down to them and snuggled in the nook between Elsa's neck and the snowy ground. Tink, like Anna, wanted to keep contact with the snow at a minimum because she wasn't immune to it like Peri and Elsa. So Tink flew into Anna's coat pocket, enjoying the warmth. She would have liked to be with Peri, but Peri needed to stay in the cold and Tink had to stay out of it. She could survive without Peri by her side, especially in this sanctuary they'd made. After all they normally slept on different sides of Pixie Hollow.

As Tink was drifting off, her mind flashed memories for her. At first they seemed random: a balloon carrier, Queen Clarion ("Ree"), water, a flood, Mother Dove... but then they all merged together.

Eyes shooting open, Tink wriggled out of Anna's pocket and rushed towards Peri. Memories still popped into her mind. A dance, a dinner, Rani, bats, Prilla, a wand...

Tink shook Peri awake and whispered excitedly "Peri! I know how to fix your talent problem!"

Back in Neverland, the fairies were all worrying about Tink and Peri. What if something happened to them? Rosetta felt terribly guilty, since it had been her nasty remark that had made Periwinkle fly away in the first place.

Queen Clarion tried to open up the second star to the right, but to no avail. It was odd, because normally the star would open up if an authority figure on Neverland (Queen Clarion/Lord Milori, Peter Pan and Captain Hook) told it to. However, it seemed the star was being rebellious.

This had never happened before, and the fairies had no idea why it was happening now. They also didn't have much of an idea of how to fix it, though they were trying.

Dewey the librarian was going through all his books looking for something that could help, and other fairies soon began to join him in his hunt.

Prilla, the only fairy who could "blink" to the mainland without using the second star to the right, had blinked over to Arendelle to look for Tink and Peri. However, this wasn't too helpful, because she was a warm-fairy and there was that whole blizzard problem in Arendelle. She'd come back within a minute, covered in snow and with her teeth chattering and her wings bent at an odd angle. Prilla was immediately rushed to the healing-talents, and had not been able to blink over again.

Queen Clarion was getting seriously annoyed at the second star to the right. She ordered it to open, but all it did was give a twinkling laugh. Lord Milori tried to force it open too, and got the same result. Queen Clarion knew that the star shouldn't be rebelling against them- it was supposed to listen to leaders.

She called all the fairies and sparrow-men to a meeting where she welcomed any ideas. The most reasonable one that came up was having all the leaders on Neverland try to get the star open. That meant they'd have to get Peter and Hook up there to help them.

Peter wouldn't be too much of a problem. He'd met the other fairies at least once, and even if he seemed cocky and uncaring, he would help once he knew Tink was in trouble. Although Peter had flaws, an unwillingness to help his friends was not one of them. Queen Clarion went to Hangman's tree- Peter and the Lost Boys' home- to go talk to Peter.

Getting Hook there was more of an issue. After all, why would he care what happened to Tink and Peri? Besides, there was no way he'd willingly help Peter out with anything, and it was just as unlikely that he'd help the fairies. It was pretty obvious that they'd have to force him up there and somehow make him cooperate with getting it open.

Zarina volunteered to get Hook (who she once knew as James, when he'd still had both hands, though she never thought of him as James anymore. He'd simply become Hook to her, after he betrayed her), grinning at the thought of getting revenge. She flew to her home, which held a combination of dust-keeping talent things and equipment for her personal talent- Pixie Dust Alchemy. Hidden in the back of her closet, but not forgotten was what she was looking for- her pirate dress, boots and sword. They were covered in dust- not Pixie Dust, but the worthless kind- which they had accumulated from staying in one place for an extended period of time.

She donned her Pirate outfit, let her hair down and hung her sword from her belt, her mind crafting a way to get Hook up to the second star to the right, and a way to get him to cooperate with forcing it open.

Next she grabbed several bags of Pixie Dust, both her specialized kinds and the normal kind, along with some poppies. She knew that poppy flowers could put people to sleep- she'd used them to do that before, back when she was a pirate- and making Hook sleep would undoubtedly be helpful.

Once she had everything she needed, Zarina visited Fawn the animal-talent and asked her to help with her plan, in other words, get the Tick-Tock crocodile ready.

Zarina shot off towards the Jolly Roger, which she had once been the Captain of. She hovered outside the Captain's Quarters window, where Hook sat poring over a map, probably planning some other way of attacking Peter Pan and the Lost Boys. Zarina hesitated, debating how to proceed- she decided against breaking one of the window panes, as she didn't want Hook to be alerted of her presence too early.

Zarina smirked as she realized that the pirates hadn't replaced the door to the captain's quarters, meaning that her fairy-sized door was still built into it. Oh, this was too easy.

She flew around the ship and arrived at the door to the captain's quarters, landing on the platform below the fairy-sized door. She was relieved to find it was unlocked- the pirates had probably taken the lock from it and put it on a treasure chest or something. She stealthily entered and locked Hook's door (the Clumsy-sized door that her door was cut in to), which would hopefully prevent him from escaping, assuming he didn't have enough time to unlock it.

Sneaking up behind Hook, Zarina readied a poppy and some of her own special Pixie Dust. Hovering behind Hook, she called out mockingly "Nice hook, Captain." singsonging the last word. Zarina smirked as her former friend whirled around with an unbelieving look on his face. He'd recognize that voice anywhere, and he knew exactly what she was saying. He'd always been able to understand her, though he'd been told by Zarina himself that this was unheard of (at the time it was because the fairies hadn't met Peter yet- or Anna, obviously).

Hook stared at the fairy hovering in front of him, wondering if he was imagining things. He silently mouthed "Zarina..." with a scornful expression. He'd been quite happy to be rid of her, and wasn't too thrilled that she was back, especially with a yearning for revenge clearly showing on her face. Hook's mind then clicked and he unsheathed his sword and prepared to attack... only to fall face-first on the floor, asleep.

Zarina had knocked Hook out with a poppy, just as she had done to all the fairies when she stole the blue Pixie Dust, back in her pirating days. She only knocked him out for a couple minutes, though, because he'd have to be conscious soon.

Working quickly, Zarina used some of her "talent dust", the garden-talent kind, and sprinkled it on Hook, focusing on what she wanted to happen. Vines wrapped around Hook like ropes, from his chin to his toes, binding him securely and leaving only his head visible. Next, she sprinkled normal Pixie Dust on Hook, so he could float weightlessly, making it infinitely easier to haul him up to the second star to the right.

Okay, now was the time to exit through the window. Using some more specialized Pixie Dust- the fast-flying talent kind- Zarina blew the window apart with a miniature tornado and set off towards the second star to the right, pulling a trussed up and temporarily unconscious pirate captain along behind her.

Meanwhile, Peter Pan was trying to get the second star to the right open, along with Queen Clarion and Lord Milori. Peter had indeed cockily boasted about how he would get it open, only to be stupefied into silence when the star didn't listen to him, either.

After a little bit, Peter noticed a figure heading towards them. As it got closer, Peter realized it was Hook, tied up and being pulled by a fairy dressed like a pirate. Hook was glaring at them all, especially the fairy pulling him, as he struggled against his bonds without success.

"All right, codfish" Peter taunted "The second star to the right won't open unless we all tell it to, so you're going to help us get it open." He said this with astounding certainty, as if it had already happened and he was simply informing the others that it had. Even though he really wasn't in a position to argue, Hook replied "And what if I don't, boy?"

Peter and the fairy rulers tried again, but Hook was ignoring them, convinced that they couldn't make him help, and he told them so numerous times.

"Well he can make you." Zarina stated casually, pulling Hook down towards the waves. As she did so, a sound became louder- the ticking of a clock. Hook gasped in fear and looked at Zarina, who was pointing to where the Tick-Tock crocodile was waiting with a hungry expression on his face, the clock in his stomach ticking away as always.

Hook started to panic as he got closer and closer to the waiting crocodile. The crocodile was the one thing that Hook feared, as it seemed to have a taste for him after Peter fed it his hand. Fear is powerful, and Hook's was no exception.

"All right! All right! I'll help you open the star! Just get me away from that murderous creature!" the pirate captain shouted in a rather high-pitched voice, struggling desperately against his restraints and actually shaking with fear- by now he was inches from the crocodile's jaws.

So Zarina hoisted him back up to the second star to the right, and they all tried to get it to open- even Hook. After two failed tries, the star finally, finally did something useful.

The star had opened the tiniest bit. They tried to force it open more, but couldn't, so now it was being only somewhat rebellious. However, in the ten minutes or so they spent trying, the star had opened marginally more. Perhaps it would just take a while to open fully? They couldn't do anything but wait and see if it would open. After dumping Hook unceremoniously on the ground and getting some scout-talents to watch over him, Zarina, Queen Clarion and Lord Milori went about their business, but made frequent checks on on the star's progress. Slowly but surely, the star was opening.

In low, excited whispers, Tink and Peri discussed what Tink had remembered- the whole quest for the wand she'd gone on with Queen Clarion and Rani. The important thing about what Tink had remembered was not the whole quest, it was what one fairy's wish had been. Prilla's laugh, a human girl named Sara Quirtle, had been incomplete- so incomplete that she would simply stare sadly ahead unless Prilla was in the vicinity. However, Prilla had used a wand to complete Sara Quirtle, and Sara became just like any other happy little girl.

Fairy wands can grant wishes, only they aren't too great at reversing them unless they are "awake" and then they cause all sorts of mayhem- so using one can go drastically wrong. Also, the supply of wands was rather limited- the fairies actually only knew of one. Still, Tink was sure they'd be able to use the wand to complete Peri.

The fairy twins went over the idea, trying to see if anything was wrong with it. However, in their elation at finding a way for Peri to become complete, they failed to see any problems with that idea. They forgot that the wand was currently in the hoard of a nasty dragon named Kyto. When Mother Dove's egg- the magic egg that kept everyone on Neverland young forever and made the existence of Pixie Dust possible- had broken, Kyto had been the only one who could fix it. However he hadn't agreed to fix it until the fairies gave him something rare and valuable for his hoard- and the only thing he'd accept was a wand. The fairies had been forced to give him the wand so he'd fix the egg- otherwise they'd get older and run out of Pixie Dust.

Neither Tink nor Peri had had participated in giving Kyto the wand, and neither had even heard too much about it, so it wasn't surprising that both forgot about it.

So they discussed the wand as if there wasn't the whole Kyto-having-it problem. They eventually moved on to other topics, mostly Peri imagining how nice it would be to be able to make snow whenever she wanted. Tink half listened; although she was glad that her sister was hopeful and excited about the prospect of becoming complete, Peri was being very redundant and it got boring listening to her repeat the same thing over and over. Tink was pretty sure that they could use a wand to complete Peri. A wand had completed someone before, so why would this be any different from when Prilla completed Sara Quirtle? But if it didn't work for some reason, Peri could become more depressed about her talent-problem than she was before.

Elsa and Anna didn't wake up for a couple hours (Anna had eventually fallen asleep) and Tink and Peri had eventually dozed off too. After all, it had been an exhausting morning for all of them. Of course, Anna was the first one awake. Elsa and the fairies would have liked to have slept longer, but once Anna was up nobody had a chance of sleeping because she would try to wake each of them up in turn, wanting someone to play with her.

Tink groaned as Anna pestered her to get up. She wished that they'd made separate rooms for their fort, so she wouldn't hear Anna's attempts at getting her up. Anna wasn't being loud, but she wasn't being quiet either, and her voice sounded louder than it actually was to the others, who had been hoping for some quiet.

Peri, who wasn't quite as tired as Tink of Elsa, came up with a brilliant way to get Anna to stop pestering everyone else. "Do you want to here a story?" she asked quietly. Anna had squealed "Yes!" and Peri had cleverly added "If you're loud, you won't be able to hear it." Anna quieted down enough for the others to relax as Peri began to tell Anna about a dangerously fast sled ride she'd lived through after losing control of the sled. If Elsa had been more awake, she would have asked what Peri was saying, but she was starting to drift off again.

Once Peri had finished her story about the dangerous sled ride, she started another story to keep Anna quiet. After the fifth story, Peri's words were mumbled and slow because she was half asleep. She fell asleep again before she had finished the sixth. Miraculously, Anna didn't pester anybody to wake up this time around. Instead, she tried without much success to draw pictures on the ice walls with a stick she'd found.

Another hour passed before Elsa and the fairies woke up for the second time, feeling refreshed and much less irritated at Anna than they'd been before, when she'd been trying to wake them up. Elsa and the fairies got up, and after they didn't do anything for a while, Elsa raised the question of why they were in this shelter in the first place instead of trying to get home.

Tink and Peri exchanged looks. They hadn't thought about how they'd explain to an eight-year-old and a five-year-old that they weren't going home right away. The best they could think of was "We need to go somewhere else first." Anna seemed content with this, though Elsa looked a bit uncertain when Anna translated it for her. Her uncertainty was soon forgotten and replaced with excitement when she learned that there were more fairies where they were going.

However, Tink and Peri learned that the second star to the right still wasn't open after they briefly went outside to check. They'd returned to the fort and had needed to do something to keep the girls occupied for who knew how long- and to keep them from starting another snowball fight, because there wasn't enough room inside and it was clear that they'd been thinking about it. So the fairy twins told more stories, including the story of how they had met, along with some funny little stories about various mishaps they'd gotten into. Elsa had then told the story of how she and Anna had gotten lost in the woods, which made a lot more sense now than when Anna had told it.

They ate a dinner of Zarina's edible Pixie Dust, and considering that none of them had eaten any other type of food that day, they were getting a bit bored of it- though it was better than not having anything to eat and at least it came in different flavors.

Once it was dark out and the only light was coming from the glow of the fairies and the stars, Tink and Peri went out again to check if the second star to the right had opened- and it was there, shining just a bit brighter than all the rest.

Cheering, Tink and Peri hugged before rushing back to get Anna and Elsa. Apparently they weren't going to be stuck in Arendelle long after all- well, not any longer than the day they'd already spent there. Even better, once they got to Neverland they could try fixing Peri's talent problem.

Leading Elsa and Anna out of the snow fort, the fairies stopped where there was a clear view of the stars. The girls gazed at them happily, and Tink pointed out the second star to the right. The girls had looked confused but thrilled when they'd been told that they were going to fly there.

The fairies were about to teach the girls some basic flying techniques because just dumping Pixie Dust on someone and letting them float away was pretty dangerous. However the lesson had been postponed before it even started. The fairies, who had much better senses than humans, had heard footsteps approaching and had noticed two men with crossbows creeping up. Of course they had to be coming from the direction of the fort, which meant that returning there wasn't an option because there was no chance of getting past two strong, armed men. Peri and Tink had correctly assumed that these were the Duke's guards, one of whom was looking at the girls with a murderous look on his face.

"Run!" Peri had shouted as she held on to Elsa and Tink at the same time. Anna grabbed Elsa's hand and started running and Elsa followed, not even asking what Peri had said. It was no use trying to make Anna and Elsa fly now- they'd most likely end up crashing into something. They needed to get away from the guards before they attempted to get to Neverland.

Clutching on to Elsa and Peri, Tink focused and flashed her glow as brightly as she could, temporarily blinding the guards and buying a bit more time. Anna and Elsa ran and ran, faster than they had that morning because it was even scarier now that it was dark. They could barely see where they were going, and branches and other things occasionally hit their faces. But they still ran, adrenaline pumping through their bodies and spurring them on.

No snow fell this time however, because Elsa had already used up her magic. This was actually a hindrance, because it had been the blizzard that had let them lose the guards the first time. Even though it was dark and wasn't snowing, it still felt like they were reliving that morning when the guards had chased them.

Elsa and Anna's ears seemed to be extra alert as they ran. They didn't hear their footsteps in the snow and they didn't hear their pursuers, which would have been useful, but they heard their frightened breathing. They could almost hear their hearts pounding, and they definitely heard the whoosh and the ominous thud when an arrow from a crossbow would hit a tree they'd just passed and embed itself in the trunk, quivering.

They weren't managing to shake the Duke's guards, and Elsa and Anna were tiring out. Even though it was risky, Tink undid the clasp to the pouch of edible Pixie Dust, flew in front of the girls and flung all the contents onto them before returning to Elsa's shoulder.

Anna and Elsa kept running, but after Tinker Bell flung the dust on them, they had felt as if they were running in air. Looking down, they'd realized that they literally were. They kept running and were steadily rising. It wasn't long before they were above the treetops.

Vilhelm and Thomas gaped in shock at the sight of the flying girls. Perhaps they were both witches, and had conjured wings in order to fly. Thomas apparently thought so, because he was muttering under his breath about how magic was evil and anybody with it should be dead. Thomas had even raised his crossbow to shoot the princesses, but Vilhelm had stopped him, not all that comfortable with the idea of killing the princesses. It had been bad enough that he hadn't been able to stop Thomas from shooting at them while they were running. Besides, the Duke probably wanted them alive.

Not that Vilhelm wasn't annoyed at the royal children. After all, this was the second time that they were slipping out of his grasp- not to mention the elder one had caused that huge blizzard. That had been a pain. The guards had been forced to wait until it stopped to do anything, because if they'd moved around they would've gotten lost. Once the storm had cleared up, it had taken them longer than they'd thought in order to track down their prey.

Considering that they couldn't just shoot the girls, there was no way they could catch them now, and how were they supposed to catch them if they could just fly away now. Thomas groaned- he'd need a huge bounty in order to make this whole mission worthwhile- assuming they could actually capture the girls, that is, and that was looking less likely with every second that the princesses spent in the air.

Vilhelm watched in frustration as his prey got further and further away.

Despite the fact that they were still worried about the Duke's guards, Anna and Elsa couldn't help laughing at the sheer thrill that flying caused- actually they were just floating but it still felt wonderful. The weightlessness and freedom were incredible, and Anna and Elsa felt just like fairies.

They weren't too great at controlling their flight, however. They had tried kicking through the air without much success, and ended up floating off in random directions. Tink and Peri had needed to pull them in the right direction, which wasn't too hard because the girls were almost weightless.

Tink pulled Anna towards the second star to the right while Peri pulled Elsa. The air got colder as they ascended, but they didn't have far to go- the second star to the right was the one star that you didn't have to go into outer space reach. Also, despite what Peter said, one did not have to travel until morning to reach Neverland- Tink didn't even know where he came up with that because it didn't make sense- if two people flew until morning but left at different times, they'd arrive at different places. However, the second star to the right was magical so that no matter which angle you looked at it, it always was second to the right (nobody knew how it did this, but it did).

Reaching the star, Tink entered pulling Anna in behind her, and Peri and Elsa soon followed. After experiencing the familiar sensation of being swept through a tunnel at high speeds while random colors flashed around, the group was thrown out the other side. Elsa and Anna looked around with awe as they got their first glimpse of Neverland.

So it's probably obvious what the important event in this chapter is- and I guess now that they're in Neverland the summary for this story technically isn't correct anymore.

Also, as soon as I came up with the idea for Peri's talent problem, I knew that they'd have to try to fix it. I think it would be totally out of character if Tink didn't try. So that's why they're in Neverland. The vote on my poll was unanimous that they should go, though only six people voted (to be honest, I was pretty much decided the day before I made the poll, but I'm glad people agreed with my opinion). Another perk for making them go to Neverland is I'm not sure how much I could write about them in the woods without getting boring (maybe I'd gotten boring already- not much happened in the last two chapters).

Also, the Neverland part turned out to mostly be about Zarina... I'd like to think that's a coincidence, but considering that she's on my mental list of my five favorite fairies, (along with Tink, Peri (obviously), Fairy Gary (I still don't know why I like him so much) and Vidia) I'm thinking I unconsciously did it on purpose. Prilla almost made the list, even though she's not in the movies... OK you guys probably don't care about my favorite fairies so I'll stop.

If any of you have read the Gail Carson Levine books about Tinker Bell, I hope this chapter wasn't confusing- I know I changed a lot. Feel free to PM me if you want clarification about something.

Also, about Elsa and Anna not being too stressed about not going home right away, I figured if Wendy, John and Michael could leave their home and go to Neverland for no reason whatsoever and not feel bad about it (well, not until later), than Anna and Elsa could go to Neverland without freaking out about how they weren't going home.

Hope you enjoyed and I hope it takes a lot less time to update than it did for this chapter, which took almost a month- around 25 days, which I think is the longest amount of time I've ever taken to update this story.
