Yes hey guys, long time no see! I know you're probably a bit disappointed that this isn't a new chapter, but I do have my reasons. I've been super busy and getting all my ideas down was difficult when I could think of a million different ways of writing or presenting my ideas, some of which would require me to change my entire story line! However, I know this is no excuse but hear me out!
Recently I was working on chapter 4 for "Fire and Wind" but due to a tragic misshapen of me losing the usb I had saved my work in progress has been a major setback. I was around a quarter of the way in, nearing 5000 words. Yeah I know, plenty of story and character development had gone into it, and I was just nearing the beginning of the "proper" main part of the chapter. Luckily for me, I had a small part of the beginning saved on my actual computer, which is quite lucky. I had my reservations on using the plot line I was aiming for so rewriting the entire thing is going to be a better way for me to see how I would truly like to see this story go!
I really hope you're not mad at me for losing my chapter, I panicked more than you'd think since it had all my current year level's assignments and projects. As for the reason it was on my usb, inspiration strikes anywhere and adding to it as you go is quite helpful (though I have learnt to constantly make backups of whatever I do from now on).
Wow so much writing... But yes, I am back on track and will hope to finish this chapter soon enough! I have also thought of doing a little two-shot with Kazuma and Ayano in which they each get a day in the mind of the other (not full control but they can survey the other's thoughts and see the world from their eyes). My question to you, my loyal readers is who would you like me to portray first? Kazuma being in Ayano's mind? Or our favourite wind magic user inside our hot headed princess's mind? I suppose this bit is crucial in deciding how I will conclude the little two-shot so if you have any preferences please let me know!
