Hatori: She does not own Kaze no Stigma.

Kazuma: Did you seriously just steal my line kid? *Summons contractor abilities*

Hatori: Only her own characters old man! *Flies away*

As the gentle rays of dawn seeped into the young princess's bedroom, the beautiful singing of the birds was a sign that a new day had begun. Ayano Kannagi lay ungracefully sprawled across her luscious bed in a deep and troubled sleep.

She had been up all night, worrying if Hatori and Kazuma would get along. Her rage was at a peak as she thought of the arrogant jerk who was to be her second bodyguard.

She threw one of her famous tantrums as she ran to the training hut at the back of the compound. Her blood was boiling, and her head was clouded with frustrating thoughts. She mindlessly attacked the unarmed training dummy, and burnt it to a crisp with one swift slice of Enraiha.

With her outlet now disintegrated into ash, she ran outside. Ayano ran to the bridge over the small pond, haphazardly throwing fireballs into it. She suddenly stopped and blushed furiously, recalling the events following the battle with Belial. She let out another screech of frustration, another slew of crimson fireballs colliding with the pond. She continued this routine for another hour or so, before collapsing in a heap of exhaustion.

After resting a few moments and regaining her strength, she managed to walk back to her room, swaying from side to side like an intoxicated man. Once there, she spent the entire night rushing to prepare her school uniform, books and bag; as well as finishing off some assignments which were given to her prior to the break. The entire process took until 2am to finish, and she was due to be up at 6am for school.

Ayano practically face planted onto her bed, utterly exhausted from the day. She wished nothing more than to get some well needed rest. Sleep had not come to her easy however. Ayano had tossed and turned all night before finally drifting into a more peaceful sleep, though her dreams were anything but.

I happened to come across my recovered word document from the incident back in 2013. This was only the first section of the chapter I rewrote, as there were several other non-chronological parts recovered. To anyone who still remembers this story, this is to give a little bit of closure, with an open end as it leaves a lot to the imagination.

I am not planning on continuing this story in the near future, though I may change my mind.
