AN: I don't own Glee or the characters

AN: I'm sorry for the long wait! I've been very busy this week and had a bit of writer's block, but hopefully that is gone and I may have another chapter up in the next few days.

Chapter 3

After Madison's encounter with Tom, Madison was in a happy mood all day. She was humming and couldn't stop smiling. In Physics when Mason and Madison were together for the first time, Mason noticed something was up. Sure Madison was naturally perky, but today she seemed almost giddy. "Madison. What's with that goofy smile?" Mason whispered over to her. Madison turned to him, unable to wipe the smile off her face, "I'll tell you at lunch." She whispered back.

After Physics, it happened to be lunchtime, and Mason would not stop bugging her with questions. Once they got into the cafeteria, Madison couldn't contain her excitement anymore. "Okay, you'll never guess what happened to me?" Madison said excitedly. Mason's face perked up, "What? Tell me!" He demanded. "I got asked out on a date!" Madison squealed excitedly. Mason's face went from shocked to blank in seconds. "W-who?" Mason asked. "Tom Forma from the football team!" She said, and then noticed Mason's worried face. "What's wrong?" Madison asked. "Nothing. Mads, I'm happy for you it's just weird to think of you with another guy besides Dad or I. Also I just don't want you to get hurt, I've heard rumors about some of the football players, and I just want to look out for you." Mason said genuinely. Madison smiled, and touched his arm, "Mason you're the best brother a girl could ever have, and it's sweet that you want to look out for me, but don't worry, Tom seems like a good guy. Speaking of Tom, I'm going to go say hi to him! See ya in Glee Mas!" Madison replied kissing him on the cheek, before bouncing off to Tom.

Mason smiled, laughing at his sister, feeling better but still somewhat uneasy about that football player. Since Madison went off to see Tom, Mason was all alone, he found Jane, Roderick, and Kitty, who was also a member of the Glee Club, all sitting at a table together and decided to sit with them. "Hi Mason." Jane said shyly as he slid into the seat right next to her. "Hey," Mason replied softly, suddenly also becoming shy. "Where's your lover?" Kitty asked with a smirk. Mason rolled his eyes and ignored her, he was used to it, as people always teased the two about it.

Lunch passed by quickly, as did the next two periods, and it was finally Glee time. Mason walked in, and found Jane, Roderick, and Kitty already there, but there was no sign of Madison. Mason found that peculiar because Madison was always on time for things. About 15 minutes later, Madison quickly scurried in, with her eyes glued to the floor. Her hair was all disheveled and pieces of hair had come out of the ponytail. Madison quickly sat down next to Mason, and murmured, "Sorry," to Kurt and Rachel. Mason kept trying to get Madison's attention during the class, but Madison kept her eyes locked on the front.

After Glee Club, Madison booked it to the locker room to fix her pony and avoid Mason. As soon as Madison left the bathroom she found that Mason was waiting right outside the door. "Madison!" He called, giving her a heart attack. "Mason, don't do that!" She hissed, walking off to practice. Mason jogged beside her, determined to get an answer out of her. "Where were you? Why were you late to glee club? Why was your hair all wild?" Mason asked her quickly. "None of your business, but if you must know, I was with Tom." Madison said with a smirk before entering the gym where practice was being held for the day.

The next few days Madison became very flustered whenever she was at school, knowing that Tom was right around the corner. On Thursday, Tom finally asked Madison out for their first official date on Friday. Madison was very excited for her first date ever. She straightened her hair, put on a blue dress with short sleeves, and wore a pair of black heels. She was very nervous for her date and wanted her brother's advice because she trusted him and went to him for everything.

She knocked on the door softly, and Mason called for her to come in. Madison same in shyly crossing her arms in front of her. "Isn't your date soon?" Mason asked, not looking up from his book. "Yeah. I'm just kind of nervous, and was hoping you'd have some advice." Mason finally looked up and a smile spread across his face, "Whoa, Mads. You look beautiful." Mason said sincerely. "Thank you." Madison said self-consciously. "And listen, just be yourself and you will be fine. Madison you are awesome, and anyone can see that, and if they don't they're crazy." Mason said sincerely. "You're the best!" Madison said, walking over and squeezing him tightly. Mason stood up, and walk over to her, "C'mon, I'll go downstairs to wait with you."

The two headed downstairs to wait for Tom together. Their parents went out for the night, and Mason was going to be alone for the first time in a while.

When it turned 8, Madison was getting very excited, as Tom should be there any minute.

At 8:30 Madison was getting a little impatient, but still excited, while Mason was getting annoyed with Tom.

At 9:30 Madison finally realized that she had been stood up, and her face finally fell. She kicked off her shoes and she curled up on the couch. She had her head tucked into her knees, and Mason started to hear a little whimper coming from her. He rubbed her back, and squeezed her shoulder. She uncurled and grabbed onto Mason, where she really started to cry. "Shh Madison, I'm so sorry. Don't cry over that jerk, you deserve better." Mason whispered to her, trying to calm her down.

Mason's heart broke for his sister, as she continued to cry, but at the same time he was very angry that some ass would dare hurt his sister like that.

After she was done crying, she almost instantly fell asleep, exhausted from her disappointment. Mason grabbed a pillow and blanket for her and made sure she was all tucked in before he went up to his room to call his parents and explain what happened. He wanted their advice on what to do.

Madison woke up a few hours later at 1 A.M. groggy, she rubbed her eyes which still felt puffy from crying earlier. She got up and slowly walked to her room, put on her pajamas and went to bed.

The next morning Madison awoke to the smell of waffles. She walked downstairs slowly, and found Mason cooking away in the kitchen. Madison was stunned, although he could cook, Mason rarely cooked food. "What's this?" Madison asked as she sat down at the kitchen island. "Breakfast for you and I." Mason replied simply, flipping the waffles perfectly. "Why?" Madison asked. "Well I thought after last night, you deserved some nice treatment, again I'm so sorry. Are you feeling any better?" Mason said looking up at he sincerely. Madison sighed and ran her fingers through her hair, "Not really. I mean yeah slightly, because of what an awesome brother I have, but no because I'm crushed. He acted like he really liked me, and then he stood me up." She said slumping her head on her arm. "Cheer up Mads, we are going to do something fun, that takes your mind off that jerk." He then served a plate to Madison who smiled a thanks.

As she smelled the sweet aroma of the waffles and sat next to her brother, she was suddenly grateful to have such an incredible twin.
