"Hurry up girls! We would like to leave before the sun rises!" We hear Eggs yell. Tara and I walk down the hall, then stop as we see the boys' jaws drop. Tara was wearing a hot pink top that hugged her every curve, a with black sleek pair of dress pants. She was also rocking a pair of black high heels.
"What do we look that bad?" Eric came up to me and says, "You two are the most beautiful women in this world." We smile and Tara says, "Let's go, I'm ready to hit the dance floor!"
As we head out the door, Eric that he's driving with Eggs he needs to talk about work stuff. I nod and I get into Tara's car, as we drive off we rock to old high school jams such as Paramore and Linkin Park.
As we drive to the party Tara asks me what I think the boys are really talking about.
"It may be about the rent due because he hasn't gotten his share in yet and does not want us to worry about it."
"I thought it was because of the hospital bills that I found." Tara claims.
"Oh! Those are mine from my last surgery."
She frowns and parks the car and says, "I thought you just paid them. These were from some kind of testing?"
"They're from before the surgery and everything I forgot to pay them." I quickly say.
We walk in but the guys are nowhere to be seen. Then as we turn to see if they have pulled in yet they walk into the door and walk toward us. Just as they got to us a slut of a girl walks right in front of them. I see her flirt with my Eric. I start getting pissed and turn a bright red and tell Tara I was going to beat that slut ass. Tara says that I'm not going to and holds my arm so I could not break free. I wrestle free and hurry to Eric's side. I give her an evil look and she walks away with an attitude. I was about to attack the bitch, when Eric grabbed me. "Calm down baby and let's go dance." he laughs at me and drags me to the dance floor. "Don't be mad I wasn't flirting with her. I love you too much to do that. Besides she's not as half as cute as you are babe." He always knows how to make me feel better.
He pulls me in and kisses me, when we come back up for air we see Tara and Eggs walk by and Tara slips a note down my top. I start laughing while Eric pulls it out and hands it to me. I unfold it and read it Sookie, Eggs and I are going to have a quiet dinner. We will be home late, try and have some fun to night! See you tomorrow. I give Eric the note and kiss him, then whisper, "Why don't sneak home?"
"That sounds great."
"Well let me call Bill really quick." He was always calling Bill. Well I cannot say much they have been friends for a very long time. We walk outside, as I got in the truck he walked off on the phone. As I wait questions went through my head. What if he knows? What am I going to say? How did he find out? What is tell Bill he's done with me? I am so afraid what is going tp happen. I hate when my mind wonders.
"Hey babe, sorry it took so long Bill always has news about how Lorena is doing with her pregnancy." He says as he slides in the driver's seat. I smile and think about how crazy it is that they are finally having a baby after years of trying.
