Dorian, my puppy prince. *sigh* I love him
Dorian: I love you too, random fanfiction writer.
Chaol: I think she fainted. Maybe Celeana knows what to do?
Celeana: I got nothing. Rowan?
Rowan: I am a warrior fae. Do you really think I have a clue? Maybe that cousin of yours?
Celeana: nah. He's more useless than my lovable Choal. Oh! I know! Fleetfoot!
Katy: I'm awake! Where's the dog? *looks around* Aw this sucks. I thought you mentioned Fleetfoot. Anyway on to disclaimer. I don't own Percy Jackson or the Throne of Glass series.
Dorian, Rowan, Choal: onto the story. *winks at katy*
Katy: so much sexy *faints*
Choal: Oh dear. I think we broke her. *shrugs and nudges Katy with his toe*
Pov Annabeth
My jaw drops. Its…not possible. I start to shake and step back but Percy holds me into place and his presence jolts me into reality. Its real.
"Leo? You…you're here!"
He smiles and opens his arms. "What no: 'I love you'? No: 'I'm glad you're not dead and are here talking to us.' No: 'my life was completely sad and hopeless without you.' Oh and my favorite, No: 'what the gods is Percabeth.'"
Percy shrugs. "The Aphrodite Cabin's been calling us that since we were 12 years old."
I smile. "What happened to you and all that stuff you said before back at you." I wave my left hand in vague circle motions, dismissing latter part.
Leo dives into his story. He rescued Calypso but she's at camp because apparently she's angry at Percy for not rescuing her. Its not Percy's fault. He literally didn't have anytime to help. I take Percy's hand and tug it.
"Leo, did you tell the others?"
Leo smiles. I swear he hasn't stopped smiling since he interrupted us.
"First thing I did, Wise Girl."
Percy glares. "That's my thing. MINE."
Leo laughs. "I know. Just messing with you."
Percy smiles. "So, you saved Calypso?"
Leo's smile falters. "Yeah. No thanks to you," he snaps.
I hold up my hands but before I can speak Percy says, "It's a good thing you did. I mean I tried so hard to help every god but honestly... Its difficult. I mean its no excuse but..." Percy trails off. I hug his side.
Leo sighs. "You tried and no-one can blame you. I mean you are one of the coolest demigods I know,"He smiles. Anyway I have to go… I promised Calypso, I'd get her something…shiny or whatever."
I laugh. "Good luck." I purse my lips. "Maybe Claires? They sell amazing jewelry."
"I'll go there. Anyway I'll see you at camp real soon, right?"
"Yes. Real soon," but not right now, I add silently in my mind.
We watch Leo walk away. He looks fine but there's something different about him. Percy pulls on my hand.
"He…seems different," Percy says seriously.
"I know. You know that elixir…I think that changed him. He seems more powerful but he's still the Leo we know." I hope.
I stare at the ground. Leo's back and all I want to do is have like a huge reunion for him and then hit him for telling us last. I mean you go on a major quest with the guy, you get to know him, he 'dies' and the he doesn't even tell you that he's back. Percy looks at me hopefully.
I smile. "You want us to skip school, don't you."
He nods and grins broadly. "You know your seaweed brain well."
"So you're mine? I can force you to go to school." I grin and his appalled face."I'm joking. Let's go tell Sally before we do anything else." At his grinning face I add, "and yes you can call Blackjack to get us there."
Percy smiles and calls Blackjack.
Pov Percy
Yoh, boss, Blackjack neighs. Two times in one day? You guys okay?
I smile. "Yeah, Blackjack. You remember Leo, right?"
Blackjack fusses. Not flame man. He tried to kill me. So did that girl Calypso. She's mean.
"I'm guessing she didn't give you sugar cubes?"
Blackjack's quiet.
Annabeth sighs. "You and your horse chats."
I stick out my tongue. "You're just jealous."
"Yep. I'm so jealous." She shakes her head. "I wish I could talk to horses and fish. I'm sure they're great conversationally."
I pout. "They are!"
"Whatever floats your boat, seaweed brain."
I smile. "I can destroy that boat."
Annabeth raises a brow. I look down.
"I won't destroy that boat, Wise girl." I mutter as I mount Blackjack.
Yoh, boss? Got girl troubles?
I snort. "Nothing you can help me with, bud."
Annabeth stared at me with her brow raised. "Percy… you're kinda crazy."
I smile. "Aren't we all"
Annabeth laughs and points at the sky. "Percy, Incoming."
I sigh. "Let me gues-"
Before I can finish my sentence I'm whisked into the sky with Blackjack but Blackjack dissipates so I'm on my own. So much for ruling horses. I close my eyes and summon water.
"No Fun, Perce. Don't you want to fight like a warrior." Annabeth yells from the ground.
I smile at her. "If you got 'em. Flaunt 'em.
