Hey I don't like writing entire episodes so I'm going to skip around a bit… if that's ok.

Bit longer than normal, may drag on a bit, but I hope you enjoy!

Chapter 12

He had lost Elliot the human. Good going Doctor.

Oh, and Amy and Rose were still missing, Ambrose was devastated, and to top it all off, Tony was hurt!

The Doctor glanced up at the sky and sighed. He put on dark sunglasses and tiptoed into the trees. The Doctor glanced at his hand, which the sunglasses made look bright red, showing that his hand was giving off a heat signal.

There was something moving around in the trees. He looked directly at it before it ran off. It wasn't giving off a heat signal.

"I know who you are." He sang, taking off the sunglasses.

He began to whistle, walking around to the other side of the van, trying to be inconspicuous. He slowly opened the door and felt around inside. He soon found what he was looking for and pulled out a fire extinguisher.

Right as he closed the door he saw the creature running towards him. He aimed the extinguisher at the creature and sprayed it. Rory jumped out of the back of the van, yelling his head off.

They were all yelling now as they shoved the creature into the van and locked the door.

"We got it!" Rory yelled.

"Defending the world with Meals on Wheels!" The Doctor yelled right back, going in for a high-five.

He was interrupted by a loud bang as everything began to shake.

The energy dome, which had turned everything dark, suddenly became transparent again, letting in the light.

"Looks like we scared them off." Rory commented.

The Doctor glanced around. "I don't think so. Now both sides have hostages."

Rose woke up to find that she was in a glass coffin-like thing. She pressed her hands against the glass and took a calming breath before she could panic.

"Hello? Let me out. Can anybody hear me? I'm alive in here! Let me out! I know you're out there. My name is Amy Pond and you'd better get me out of here!" Rose heard Amy yell from the coffin thing next to her. Rose sighed; Amy was giving away way too much information.

"You better get me out of here or so help me I will kick your backside!" Amy yelled.

"Please?" Rose asked.

"Rose! Rose? Are you there?" Amy asked.

Rose was hoping she could keep her name hidden. Before she could answer her coffin filled with gas.

"N-no! No gas! Please no gas!" Something leaned over her coffin. Rose felt her eyes grow heavy. "NO!"

She tried to force her eyes to stay open but she began to cough. When she coughed for the third time she blinked, and that was all it took for Rose to pass out.

The Doctor was questioning the Silurian he had captured.

"How many are you?" He asked.

The creature smirked. "I'm the last of my species."

The Doctor chuckled. "Really. No. Last of the species. The Klempari Defense. As an interrogation defense, it's a bit old hat, I'm afraid."

"I'm the last of my species." She repeated.

The Doctor frowned and glared at her. "No. You're really not. Because I'm the last of my species and I know how it sits in a heart. So don't insult me. Let's start again. Tell me your name."

"Alaya." She hissed.

The Doctor sat back in his chair. "How long has your tribe been sleeping under the Earth, Alaya?" She looked some-what surprised. He leaned forward."It's not difficult to work out. You're three hundred million years out of your comfort zone. Question is, what woke you now?"

"We were attacked." Alaya whispered.

Oh. "The Drill." The Doctor leaned back against his chair.

"Our sensors detected a threat to our life support systems. The warrior class was activated to prevent the assault. We will wipe the vermin from the surface and reclaim our planet." Alaya let out a hiss.

"Do you really have to say vermin? They're actually very nice." The Doctor complained.

"Primitive apes." She spat.

"Extraordinary species. You attack them, they'll fight back. But" The Doctor held up a finger "there's a peace to be brokered here. I can help you with that."

"This land is ours. We lived here long before the apes." Alaya told him.

"Doesn't give you automatic rights to it now, I'm afraid. Humans won't give up the planet." The Doctor stated.

"So we destroy them."

"You underestimate them."

"You underestimate us."

The Doctor sighed. Alaya was making this so much harder than it needed to be.

"You're going to do what?" Rory exclaimed.

"I'm going to go down under the surface and talk to them." The Doctor said as if it was the most obvious thing on Earth. Which it was, he had just said it.

"You're going to negotiate with these aliens?" Ambrose asked.

"They're not aliens! They're Earth…liens. Once known as the Silurian race." The Doctor went on explaining the Silurian race the group of people in the room. If only they would understand that from the Silurian's point of view they were the invaders.

The Doctor soon ran out to the TARDIS, closely followed my Nasreen.

"No! Sorry, what are you doing?" The Doctor exclaimed, blocking the TARDIS door.

"Coming with you, of course. What is it, some kind of transport pod?" Nasreen said.

No, no one was coming with him. "Sort of, but you're not coming with me."

Nasreen glared at him. "I have spent all my life excavating the layers of this planet, and now you want me to stand back while you head down into it? I don't think so."

The Doctor sighed. All he wanted to do was get everyone back safely, grab Rose, and snog the life out of her.

Did he really just think that?

Bad Doctor. He chided himself. Rose is human, you're not.

But you love her. Another half of him argued.

No I don't, she's just a friend. He countered.

You just admitted that you wanted to kiss her. The other part of him said.

"No, I didn't!" he yelled out loud. Everyone stared at him like he was crazy. "Sorry… busy day… you can come."

Narseen smiled. The Doctor unlocked the TARDIS and ran straight to the console. Finally, somewhere familiar.

Nasreen followed a few seconds later.

"Welcome aboard the TARDIS. Now, don't touch anything. It's all very precious." He instructed.

He had had people touch stuff that shouldn't have been touched before, and it always resulted in something bad happening.

Unless it's Rose. A part of him said.

Shut up. He told the rebellious voice. That's what he would call it, the rebel.

"Whoa, no way." Nasreen whispered.

You know it's true. The rebel teased.

"Shut. Up." He growled quietly.

"But that's… this is…" Nasreen laughed and hit the Doctor on the shoulder "fantastic!"

Oo, doesn't that bring back memories with Rose. The rebel whispered.

Shut. Up. The Doctor repeated. Finally, the voice listened.

"What does it do?" Nasreen asked, gesturing to the TARDIS console.

"Everything!" The Doctor answered.

Suddenly that TARDIS tilted and the Doctor, yet again, had to run around trying to fly his beloved ship.

Oo, don't you have a lot of beloved things… The rebel said.

"Shut up!" The Doctor yelled at no one in particular.

Rose woke up again to find herself strapped to an upright table. Amy slowly came to consciousness next to her.

"Hello, Amy!" When she didn't respond Rose continued. "Earth to Amelia Pond. Hellooo."

Amy finally looked at her. "Oh Rose, you're alright!"

"Of course I'm alright! 'M always alright!" Rose smiled, trying to lighten the mood a bit.

"Sh! Don't talk, and close your eyes." A man next to them said.

"What, where am I… where are we?" Amy corrected herself. "What are they gonna do to us?"

"Decontamination they call it. They did it to me while I was conscious." The man panted.

"Did what?" Rose asked, scared, but not showing it.

"Dissected me." The man said, lowering his head to look at a huge red scar running down his stomach.

Rose felt like she might throw up. She swallowed and let out a very weak "oh."

"He's coming. I'm sorry; I wish I could help you." The man whispered.

Amy began to struggle as the creature came closer with a needle.

"We're looking for a small tribe, housing maybe a dozen homo-reptilia." The Doctor said.

"One small tribe?" Nasreen asked. "Maybe a dozen?"

"Yes." The Doctor said, coming to stand next to her.

He looked down and found an entire city below them. "Or maybe… an entire" he gulped "civilization."
