Chapter XXVII:
Sasuke used to be a Shinobi that trusted no one but himself the one that only mercilessly use people like a pawn. He will sacrifice and kill everyone in his path to carry out his mission.
Yet, his thoughts and his mind started to turn into mush.
The darkness, raw rage…all that feelings slowly fading. Everything changes.
Without warning she came in to his life (more likely he came into hers) "Her sudden arrival in my life shook my world turning it upside down in the process." As much as he hates to admit he could feel his heart is slowly being filled with warmth and love.
And when Sakura almost hurt and almost (probably kill) Hinata with her (super) strength, all he could see is red. His hands slowly close into a tight fist, his whole body shaking in unexplainable fury.
Murder, Kill.. Are the only things he thinks he has to do.
However, his wife intertwine their hands together calming him down, catching him off guard, she's only holding his hand but she could immediately soothe him, for him. It's a wonder that he couldn't even explain, sure apart of the reason is because he is in love with her but the other reason is still way beyond him. Even beyond his genius mind can comprehend.
He sighed, massaging his forehead in the process. He's just amaze how much patience his wife has in her, normally if a person is being attack they will be scared shitless they will cower, cry or run. Well he does recognize that Hinata is not just an ordinary person she is a Ninja and his wife.
"Hinata-chan, is it alright if you go ahead to the city.." It's not a question it's a statement.
"Why is there anything wrong?" Hinata asked inclining her head curiously to her husband.
"No, I just forgot something from our room I'll follow you soon at the nearby shop."
"O..kay.." Hinata nodded and left.
When his wife was in reasonable distance Sasuke performed a seal on his hand to summon a messenger hawk and relayed a message to be sent to team Taka.
The land of Wood is unlike any other, it's industrial and modern at the same time. They specialize in wood making (hence the name) such as producing furniture, carpentry materials and exporting wood for construction, using half of the profits they earn to help and provide the needy.
Hinata is looking inside the second furniture shop she visited that day when suddenly a pair of strong arms wrap tightly around her waist. She doesn't need to turn around to know who's hugging her.
His scent and chakra pattern are memorized by her already, "Sasuke-kun..."
"Sorry if I took some time, have you decided what we'll buy for our home?"
"Not yet since I want both of us to agree on a furniture we're buying."
Sasuke smiled softly, "All right let's do this together."
They look at different furniture, discussing what they like and what they don't. Hinata notice that someone like Sasuke who gives the vibes of uncaring, stern man is giving as much time exchanging comments with her.
"Why are you laughing?" Sasuke asked when he heard his wife's chuckle softly.
"Because the infamous Uchiha Sasuke is spending time with his wife choosing furniture for their future home instead of staying in the training ground improving his ninjutsu."
Sasuke looks away as he could feel his face heating up, "Shut up." he said as he playfully flick her forehead (like what he's brother used to do when he was a little kid) in a n attempt to hide the embarrassing blush that grace his cheeks.
"Aww, that hurt..." Hinata pouted cutely but her pout turn to a solemn smile as she watch her husband's back, this light moment she has with him she will always treasure and will miss once she's away from him for her heiress training.
After looking at different shops while eating rice cakes as they walk along the city, Sasuke decided to rent a boat so they could enjoy the lake's view closer with Hinata.
"I've been looking everywhere for you Hinata-chan…and you also Sasuke-san." Tetsuya said with a smile on his face upon seeing Sasuke and Hinata on the way to the rental kiosk
"Why?" Sasuke asked growling, he hates the man for hitting on his wife last night and now. The nerve of this guy!
"To ask you lunch of course." Tetsuya said, directly looking at Hinata.
"Thanks for the offer but we already ate rice cakes when we we're walking around the market." Hinata answered as she gave a squeeze on their intertwined hands.
"How about lunch then we can eat sandwiches or fruits anything you like Hinata-chan and Sasuke of course."
Before Sasuke can voice out his obvious irritation and tell the bastard to back off, Tetsuya's father called him.
"I'm going to kill that guy," Sasuke said loud enough for Hinata to hear.
"Sasuke-kun.." Hinata said giving her husband a disapproving look, she might not like him flirting with her but Tetsuya is a good guy, he doesn't deserve any threats from Sasuke only because he's jealous. "I'm sure he doesn't mean it that way." she said calmly hugging Sasuke's arm closer to her.
"So you are defending him now?" He's now totally pissed off by that guy!
Hinata cupped Sasuke's cheeks, "No," she said breathing deeply before looking up to her husband's onyx orbs, "But you need to calm down anata, why don't we just ride the boat along the lake like you plan.."
"Fine.." He said grudgingly went along with his wife's suggestion snatching his wife's wrist dragging Hinata with him towards the Kiosk again.
"Uhm, Sasuke-kun.." Hinata said, fidgeting.
"Hmm?"
"D-Do I really have to sit on your lap like this? Won't the boat sink?" She stuttered nervously. Their current position making her really uncomfortable and blush at the same time.
"Don't worry about it I'll save you if that happen,"
"T-That's not the point Sa-"
"What, nervous?" Hinata frown she could feel her husband is smirking right now even if she couldn't see his face.
"S-Sasuke-kun I'm seri-" Hinata couldn't finish what she wants to say when she felt a warm hand slip inside her underwear. "W-What are you-" before she could even voice out her complain the raven captured her lips for a hot searing kiss. Hinata couldn't move it's as if her soul is imprisoned by his kiss. "Hinata-chan?" Sasuke called as he entered their room.
"Go away Sasuke kun." Hinata shouted, burying her face even more on her pillow.
"I'm sorry hime I didn't mean it, I should have waited until we are back here in our room but I have to make a statement to Tetsuya that you are mine."
"I know you don't like him because of his flirting but we are in a public place Sasuke-kun in a boat at the middle of the lake. Besides you know his advances won't work on me I only love you, don't you trust me?!" Hinata said crying her whole body shaking, it's just plain humiliating!
Sasuke kneeled in front of Hinata holding her hand, "I know and I'm sorry it won't happen again. I'm sorry for hurting you again omae."

Sasuke paused thoughtfully, like thinking of right words to say to her, "I don't know if I'm able to live with myself if I lose another person I cherish..." Sasuke said he couldn't believe he is crying, the last time he did was when he learned the truth about his older brother and regretted that he killed him.
Hinata although angry at Sasuke she did understood his actions and forgive him like she did the last time, for her to see a proud man like Sasuke on his knees begging and in tears, only meant how sorry he was.
Hinata kneel down to his level and embraced her husband, "I forgive you anata but don't do it again next time no matter how jealous you are." she said softly on his ear, Sasuke nodded and kisses Hinata's foreheadtenderly.
"I promise and again I'm sorry omae."
"Hmm, aahh hah.." moans and groans filled the air, bed creaking headboard banging against the wall.
"Stick your tongue out tangle it with mine," he said as Hinata open her mouth wide enough for Sasuke to insert his tongue to hers.
"S-Sasuke-kun h-hurry!" Hinata said breathlessly she could feel his finger nudging on her entrance.

"Sasuke-kun's number one admirer in Leaf Village, my number one rival for his love before. But why would he want us to put surveillance on her?"
"If what you said is correct, that Sakura must have done something to threaten Hinata-san." Juugo said as the hawk messenger puffed out of his hand.
"How did you come up with that idea?" Karin asked looking into Suigetsu's face questioningly.
"Remember when we last saw each other and Sasuke almost killed me when he's looking for Hinata-san? That Sakura must have done something to harm or threaten Hinata-san that's why Sasuke asked us to tail her to see if she's planning something."
Karin unexpectedly embraced Suigetsu, "Nice thinking Suigetsu-san but when shall we start finding her?"
"Now if you are both up to it." Jugo said.
"You bet." Both Suigetsu and Karin exclaimed.
