Reiji yawned softly, sat up and got out of bed. It was so quiet today. Maybe he should reward the boys (Especially the triplets) with some breakfast. He walked to the kitchen and opened the door, only to find his mood turn sour. The kitchen looked to be painted with flour icing, and what looked to be red sauce. Reiji seethed as he walked around the pot and pans that littered the kitchen. The triplets, he thought, only they were foolish enough to make some a catastrophic mess. He was already thinking of their punishments when he spotted Laito, asleep, behind the counter. Reiji's anger peaked, and with a speed only capable to an immortal, he drove foot into Laito's gut. Laito's eyes flew open in shock and he let out a cough as he jumped up quickly, muscles tense and ready for action. He visibly relaxed when he realized it was Reiji.
"Reiji? why did you kick me?" Laito asked as he picked up his flour coated hat, and then it hit him. The mess he and his brother made last night. Laito took a step away from Reiji and looked away, a nervous smile spreading across his face.
"So, uh...I can explain."
-LAST NIGHT-
Kanato was in the kitchen making sweets when Ayato strolled in.
"Kanato get out, Laito is going to make me some takoyaki and you will be in his way." Ayato demanded, only to be ignored. Kanato continued putting flour into his bowl
"I know you heard me!" Ayato yelled and grabbed the bowl of flour from him. Kanato calmly picked up another bowl and poured another helping of flour into the bowl. Ayato grabbed that bowl and instead of taking it, decided it was better to dump it over Kanato's head. Laito appeared not a minute sooner and let out a gasp of surpise.
"Ayato-kun! What are you doing?" Laito asked, his concerned tone betrayed with the grin slowly spreading across his face. Ayato smiled smugly and shrugged
"Kanato was ignoring me." He stated matter-of-factly, his finger pointed to the purple haired boy who had oddly grown very quiet, despite having a bowl of flour over his head. Laito sighed and shook his and walked over to Kanato.
"Kanato-kun...are you there?" He asked and tapped his brother, no response. Laito's eyebrows furrowed and he leaned closer. Kanato was mumbling something quietly to himself under the bowl. Laito began to laugh hysterically.
"I think you finally broke him!" He sputtered in-between laughs.
"Broken?..." Came a small whisper from under the bowl, quickly silencing Laito's laughs. Both heads turned as Kanato lifted the bowl off his head.
"The only thing broken will be your neck!" Kanato screeched and dove after Ayato who swiftly dodged him. Laito grabbed him before he could try again.
"Now, now Kanato-kun...No need to resort to violence. There is other ways to get revenge." Laito says and whispers something in Kanato's ear. The purple haired boy smiles evilly. Ayato had grown bored and was busy making his own takoyaki. Before his brother could react Kanato picked up a handful of icing and smashed it in Ayatos's face, who was in turn stunned. Laito again became hysterical with laughter. The sight of his two brothers covered in spices was just too much for him. Ayato and Kanato frowned and then exchanged mischievous looks, the same idea coming to mind.
"You think that's funny?" Kanato and Ayato said at the same time Kanato grabbed another handful of icing and Ayato had a pot full of takoyaki sauce. Laito stopped, when he realized the predicament he was in. Before he could even speak Kanato and Ayato threw the icing and pot at full speed. The pot hit Laito in the head, and he went down. Still conscious, he sat up and looked down at his icing and sauce covered body.
"The pan Ayato-kun, really?" He said as he rubbed his head. His eyes met the bag of flour sitting next to him and he grinned. Quickly, he grabbed the flour and stood up.
"Food fight!" Laito shouted as he dug his hand into the bag and pulled out a handful of flour and threw it at his brothers. Kanato and Ayato managed to dodge it and grab spices of their own. Laito ducked behind the counter, Ayato took refugee behind the fridge and Kanato turned the table over. The three boys eventually fell asleep in their hiding spots covered in sauce and flour and icing.
-BACK TO PRESENT TIME-
Laito gulped as Reiji's eyes bored into him. He didn't even want to think of the unimaginable torture that would befall him and his brothers.
"THAT'S IT, I'M HIRING MAIDS!" Reiji screamed and stormed out of the kitchen, his outburst waking up Ayato and Kanato.
"What is he screaming about?" Ayato said groggily.
"Something about maids?" Kanato mumbled, stood up and dusted flour off of his jeans. Laito nodded eagerly
"Yes! we are getting maids I can't wait! oh and also I won!" He whispered the last part smugly. Ayato shot up annd marched over to him.
"As if! You know I always win!"
"No, me and Teddy won!" Kanto joined in. Laito and Ayato glance over to him and rolled their eyes.
"Okay, I've got a way to settle this. Since we are getting maids, whoever can bed the most maids wins." Laito said triumphantly.
"You're on!" Kanato and Ayato said in unison. Laito laughed
"Fufu, then let the games begin."
