They were able to stand as Voldemort left in a tornado like structure. Harry began to cringe in pain and fall to the ground but she caught him, holding his head in her arms as he dealt with whatever Voldemort was doing to him. She whispered, trying to keep her voice from breaking as she watched one of her best friends in pain, "Harry it's alright. I'm here. I'll always be here. You have to be strong. You have to fight him off."

He spoke but his voice wasn't completely his, it was mixed with Voldemorts and a tear rolled down her cheek as he spoke to Dumbledore, "You've lost old man."

Harry then writhed in pain once more and she held him closer, trying to comfort him as more tears fell. She hoped she wasn't losing him, "Harry please. Please stay with me. I need you. You're like a brother. Please."

His hand reached up to hers and gripped it tight, she knew he was still in there. Dumbledore spoke, "Harry, it isn't how you are alike, it's how you are not."

Tears streamed down her face as the rest of their friends came in the room and she tried to hold onto Harry without hurting him. She shut her eyes tight as she heard Harry say, "You're the weak one and you'll never know love or friendship and I feel sorry for you."

She let out as much of a laugh as she could through the tears before Harry was ripped from her arms and she was slid across the floor against a wall. Bridget looked up and saw a cylinder of sand around Harry as Voldemort approached him. She tried to stand up, tried to make it to Harry but she didn't have the energy so she began to crawl as the Minister and other showed up via the Floo network.

Dumbledore took Harry into his lap and Hermione and Ginny rushed to Bridget. She was still trying to get to Harry but the girls hugged her, "Is he alright?"

"Dumbledore has him, he'll be fine." Hermione whispered to her and felt the girl relax in her arms.

"Thank Merlin." She said as another tear fell from her eye.

Remus had finished rounding up the Death Eaters and ran to find Bridget, taking her almost limp frame from Hermione and Ginny once reaching her. He brushed the hair from her face, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah. Just not used to doing so much in such a short period." She leaned her head on his shoulder, "I should work on that."

"Yes, well just rest now. MacRose would be proud of what you were able to do." He watched as she closed her eyes in his arms and he held her close, "I'm proud of what you did. It's over now…so rest."

He was so afraid when he had seen that Death Eater holding her and watching her fight. Even more so when he saw her run off after Harry but he had known better than to go after her with the amount of Death Eaters around. It had been a while since he had cared for someone like he did her, someone who was like family to him and the thought of something happening to her scared him. Remus looked down to see she had fallen asleep in his arms and he placed a light kiss to her forehead before picking her up to take her back to Hogwarts.

When she woke up in the infirmary, Remus sitting next to her bed. She smiled at him, "How long did I sleep?"

"About a day." He looked at her, "We'll work on managing your energy levels so if you ever find yourself in danger again, which we both know you will, you won't pass out afterwards."

"Sounds like a plan." She laughed.

"And we have to make sure you control your energy withdrawal from George, according to his father the poor boy almost collapsed during the fight because of the pain he was in."

"Is he alright?" She almost shot out of her bed.

"He's fine." Remus pushed her back down into the bed, "The pain stopped once the fight ended. He's very worried about you though."

She felt horrible, she had hurt George without even knowing about it, "I'll make sure that's the first thing MacRose teaches me next. I don't want that to happen to him again."

"We'll be sure to figure it out. But it means that your bond with each other is very strong, which is a good thing. It means you both will be very aware of each other even when you are far apart." He smiled at her.

Bridget remembered something, "My mother's cloak, where is it?"

"Right here." Remus pulled it from the table next to her bed.

"I found something…I think I did something I wasn't supposed to." She said taking the fabric from him.

"What?" His forehead creased.

She pulled the prophecy orb from the pocket, "I found this in the Department of Mysteries. It had my name on it."

Remus took the orb from her, "Have you heard what it says?"

"No. I didn't have time." She looked up at him, "Should I listen to it?"

"You should." A voice came from behind Remus and they turned to see Minerva standing there, "It's about you. It was made the day your father died."

Remus handed the orb back to her, "Listen to it."

Bridget held the orb and looked into the white mist within it, "The Phoenix of pure-blood will rise from the ashes with power like no one has seen from her kind. She will have the ability to stop the Dark Lord from ever returning or will secure his reign for all time."

"What does it mean?" She looked from Remus to Minerva and Remus also looked to the professor.

"We aren't sure." Minerva answered honestly, "We only knew it was you because you are a pure-blood primal as well as the last girl of the Phoenix bloodline. When you Primed so young I knew it must be true but I don't know what will come to be of it."

Remus took Bridgets hand, "Whatever it means or however he plans to do it, we will be sure not to let Voldemort have you."

"If that prophecy does come to pass," Minerva came around the side of the bed and placed a hand on her nieces shoulder, "We will be sure you are ready to defend yourself from him as well as stop him."

"So Harry and I…" Her voice was low, "We really are in this together. Voldemort won't stop until Harry is dead and he has me do whatever it is he needs."

Minerva wore a frown at this while Remus just nodded his head. Bridgets shoulders widened as she looked up, "That's good. It means that we will work together, fight together to end him when the time comes. It'll make us twice as strong."

"Yes, it will." Minerva squeezed the girls shoulder.

George was pacing the Burrow and Fred was just watching him but Molly had had enough, "Would you sit down! She's fine! Remus and your father will be here with all of them soon!"

"Mum! I left! I left and she was in danger! I should have been there!" He almost yelled, "What if something had happened to her!"

"Nothing to bad did so it's nothing to concern yourself with." Bridget said coming into the home and George looked to seeing her there, a few scratches on her face still healing.

His legs took off before anyone could say anything else and he wrapped his arms tight around her, "Bloody hell Bridg! You scared me half to death."

"I'm sorry. I didn't realize that you would feel it as much as you did." She hugged him back, "I'll do better if it happens again."

He wanted to kiss her, hold her tight and not let go but everyone was watching so he had to release her from his grasp. Molly ran over to Ron, "Oh look at you, your eye! Come now let's take care of that!"

"Mum, I'm fine." He pulled away from her and the others laughed.

"Looking at the lot of you it seems as if we missed a fun show." Fred smiled at them.

"You have no idea!" Ginny smiled, "Bridget was amazing."

"Yeah, she was shooting fire from one hand and blocking spells with another!" Ron grinned.

Bridget shrugged, "You all didn't do so bad yourselves."

"We did miss the fun!" George looked to Fred.

"Yes, well speaking of fun, I must go to help take some Death Eaters to Azkaban." Remus said before looking at Bridget, "I'll be back soon, you continue to practice everything you've leaned. George be sure to help her with it. You assessment is in a few weeks but I'm sure you'll do just fine."

"Alright, be safe Remus." She hugged him and he hugged her back.

That evening after dinner Bridget was helping Mrs. Weasley in the kitchen when George came in, "Hey Bridg, you wanna go for a run?"

"Would that be alright?" Bridget turned to look at the woman.

Molly nodded, "Of course I can handle this. Just don't be out to late or go too far."

"We won't." The two said in unison heading for the front door.

The sun was going to start setting soon as they ran and once they made it to the tree line out of sight from the house George took her hand pulling her into his arms, holding her body tight to his, his lips covering hers in an instant. She smiled as her hands rested on his chest, her back arching into his kiss. He pulled away slightly, his hand cupping her face, "I shouldn't have left."

"Geor-" She started but he cut her off.

"No I shouldn't have left you, not there, not with how things were. When it first started I thought that – that woman was hurting you and then when you weren't at Hogwarts I..I.." His lip trembled, "I was so scared I was going to lose you."

"Shhh, it's alright." She stroked the back of his head then looked him in the eyes, "You didn't lose me, I'm right here. We're together and that's all that matters right now, yeah?"

He nodded relaxing a little and she smiled giving him a light peck on the lips, "I love you."

"I love you too." He kissed her again but held her there this time. The kisses went from a slow and gentle speed to a deep and passionate one as the moment went on. Their arms were wrapped tightly around each other and her fingers ran through his hair. George took a few steps forward pushing her back up against a tree and he moved his hands to her hips before grabbing her thighs, lifting her up into the air, pinning her to the tree. He broke the kiss for a moment, "Is this-"

"Yes." She answered already knowing the question before putting her lips back on his and wrapping her legs around his waist. Bridget could feel her chest growing warm and she knew she was beginning to glow but she didn't care, she didn't care about anything except the fact that she was with him.

He began to kiss down her jaw and pulse point, unzipping her jacket so he could get to more of her skin. When he reached the base of her neck he began to suck on the skin and her grip around him grew tighter. His hips instinctively pushed into hers and a whisper of his name came from her mouth. She could feel him growing against her while he sucked on her neck and she gasped as she felt his fingers under the hem of her shirt, feeling them on the skin of her waist. He pulled away from her neck at this noise and looked up to see her eyes were a vibrant shade of amber and it was beautiful, "Should we stop?"

"Probably." She muttered breathless before kissing him again their teeth almost clashing. Her legs pulled him as close as they could and one of his hands slipped further up her shirt. Georges heart began to beat faster as he felt the fabric of her bra at his fingertips. He began to move his hand further up when they heard someone clear their throat.

Breaking the kiss they both looked in the direction of the noise to see Fred leaning on a tree with a grin on his face, "Bridg, you glow in the dark, that's wicked!"

"What the hell are you doing here?" George yelled at his twin.

"Mum was beginning to wonder where you two were at since the sun went down a while ago." He shrugged, "Figured it'd be better if I found you two snogging than if she did."

George quickly pulled his hand from Bridgets shirt and set her back down on the ground, "Thanks for that… I guess."

"Not a problem." Fred was still grinning at them as Bridget quickly zipped her jacket back up covering the hickey on her neck. He looked at her since she was still glowing, "How long will it take for that to go away?"

"Come on then, let me have it." George looked at her with a grin waiting for an insult to help the glowing go away and she just smirked and gave him a shove.

"Are you sure it's my glowing he was talking about and not what's in your pants?" She said with a growing smile and Fred barked out a laugh.

"Oh that's not fair!" George couldn't help but laugh as well as her color began to fade.

"We should be fine by the time we make it back." Her smile didn't fade as they began to walk towards the tree line.

Bridget and Remus were out in a field beside the Burrow practicing. She had passed her assessment with flying colors and she even swore that she saw Tevos crack a smile at her improvement. Arthur had helped them find materials and they set up a course for her to practice on. Remus put a hand on her shoulder before they started the next segment, "You've gotten better at controlling your energy, George says he can barely tell when you borrow any lately. Now you have to work on going from one animal to another. Frogs have the ability to stick to smooth surfaces while Phoenix's have claws in which to grab onto things. I want you to try leaping from here to the smooth board up there and then to the wooden post we have over there."

She looked to where he pointed and saw there was over 100 feet between them all but she still nodded her head, "I'll do my best."

"That's all I'm asking for." He smiled at her and she took a preparation step backwards before running to leap onto the smooth surface, her hands keeping her from sliding and she leaped from there to the post, her fingers digging into it but sliding down it. When she realized she was about to fall she concentrated more and her momentum stopped and she was hanging from the post, the tips of her fingers having turned into the talons of a phoenix. Remus walked over to where she was hanging and she let go of the post, him catching her around the waist before she hit the ground, "Other than the reaction time, that was very good for a first try."

"I'll keep practicing. I'll get it down." She looked up at him.

"I know you will." He put an arm around her shoulders and squeezed, proud of her, "MacRose will be around next week to help you more with the chameleon aspects. She's been trying to find someone else who can fly that would be willing to help teach you how to find your wings but hasn't had any luck yet."

"It's alright, I know they'll come at some point." She smiled up at him, "In the book and notes she gave me it said those weren't something you should rush."

"How many times have those now?" He asked.

"About five or six times?" She said slightly embarrassed.

He couldn't help but laugh, "So much like your mother."

"Some of them were her notes." Bridget looked up at him, "I've never asked you about her. Did you know her well?"

"Not really, she was often taking care of your brother and came to meetings to relay messages from your father about Voldemorts plans and to tell us of something she had found in some old book that may have been of use to us. Only a few knew of her background as a Primal but when her abilities were needed she would lend them to us." He told her as they took a seat on a low platform, "Your father loved her dearly, I only met him twice after he had to fully defect to the Order but I could tell he wasn't a bad man, not from how he looked at her or his son. I think the only reason he had joined with Voldemort was because of his brother, who as you know is a very bad man. He left everything he had ever known because he loved her, he gave up his life to protect all of you. Just as she gave up her life to protect you. I wish I had known her better so that I could tell you more."

"It's alright." She had a sad smile, "I remember her more than I do Da. Sometimes it's just nice to find out what they were like…before."

Remus smiled at the girl who was still so young but had grown up so much since he'd known her, "Molly was her best friend, she can tell you anything you want to know about them."

"I know, but I also know that it hurts her to talk about them. I don't want to do that to her, not when she's done so much for me."

"How is a troublemaker like you so sweet as well?" He nudged her and she couldn't help but laugh at him.

"That was enough of a break, let me try again." She said standing up heading back to the front of the course.
