The day before the funeral Bridget, Harry, Ron, and Hermione were in the Astronomy Tower and they talked about how the horcrux Harry and Dumbledore had retrieved was a fake and they had to find the real one. Hermione looked back to Ron then leaned on the bannister looking to Harry, "Rons okay with it you know, you and Ginny."

"I'd just keep the snogging to a minimum when he's around with how much it upset him when she was with Dean." Bridget joked from the other side of Harry.

"Oh, you mean like how you and George did?" Harry looked at her with a smile.

"Yeah what was up with not telling us that?" Ron piped up from the stairs.

"We didn't think it was safe to tell people when we first started dating then after he became my bondmate it felt like keeping them both quiet was best." She said looking back and forth between Ron and Harry, "Look I get that you both knew he was my bond mate but still it was a little weird to just come out and say that we'd been dating in secret for months. And this way you didn't have to put up with what we're going to have to put up with while you and Ginny are together next year."

"I'm not coming back next year." Harry looked back out over the Black Lake, "I have to finish whatever Dumbledore started. I don't know where that'll lead me but I'll let you guys know where I am, when I can."

"I've always admired your courage Harry," Hermione started.

Bridget finished, "But damn if you aren't daft."

"You don't really think you're going to be able to find all those Horcruxes by yourself do you?" Hermione looked at him, "You need us Harry."

"Plus we're sort of in this thing together you and I, and if you need to find the Horcruxes then so do I." Bridget smiled at him, "You're stuck with us."

After the funeral Remus pulled Bridget to the side, "Is it true? Snape killed Dumbledore?"

"Yes, Draco didn't have it in him." Bridget looked up at him with a small smile.

"I suppose that is a good thing." Remus sighed, "I don't think Snape knew about George being your bondmate so that's a plus."

"Yes." Bridget said seeing George behind Remus, "Speaking of, I actually need to speak with him, is that alright?"

"Yes, I was just checking to make sure I had the facts." Remus said then called her back, "Bridget, one more thing, what were you doing on the tower that night?"

"Following Draco. He'd been acting weird all year and I'd been trying to get him to open up to me about what was going on." She answered, "I'd hoped that since he was the one who got me away from my Uncle I could convince him to let me do the same, clearly it didn't work."

Remus nodded and she went to get George, taking him on a walk towards the Black Lake. When they reached the pier she took a deep breath, "George, I need to tell you something and I don't want to upset you with the fact that it's a decision I'm making on my own."

"Bridg, what is it?" he asked looking down at her, worried.

"I'm not coming back to Hogwarts next year." She said.

He couldn't help but let out a small laugh, "Well I never finished my seventh year so why would that upset me?"

"That's not the upsetting part." She turned to him taking one of his hands, "The fact that I'm going to leave with Harry when the time comes to help him find all the Horcruxes to defeat Voldemort and you can't come with me is."

"What?" He asked a little shocked.

"You can't even know where I'm at, it'd be too dangerous for you."

"What happens if something happens though? What happens if you need me? I'm your bondmate, not just your boyfriend." He grew slightly angry but mostly out of fear.

"I know and that's why I was worried I was going to upset you with this but I wanted to tell you and not just do it without you knowing and making you more upset and worried." She put a hand on his chest, "George I love you and if you go out there with us, to find these things, these parts of Voldemort, then you could be in extreme danger and if they figured out you were my bondmate then they would use you against me and I can't have that because I would do whatever they asked so that they wouldn't hurt you and you would hate me for it. Them not knowing who my bondmate is our best weapon against them at the moment. I don't want to leave you, I really don't, but we'll both be safer if we are apart."

He sighed knowing she was right, he just didn't like the idea of being without her for who knows how long or what trouble would she would find, or worse, find her, "Alright, but you have to let me know that you're alright as much as possible even if you can't tell me where you are. And if you can tell me where you are, you do it."

"You can't come see me." She tried not to cry, she hated this but she had to do it.

"I know, but it'd be better than not knowing." He wrapped his arms around her, "When are you leaving?"

"I don't know, Harry isn't allowed to do magic outside of school until his birthday and that's towards the end of summer so it'll probably be around then." Her voice shook.

"Then we have time, we can spend as much time together as possible before you leave." He kissed the top of her head.

She held up her wrist, showing the bracelet on it, "And we'll still be together through this amazing one of a kind invention by my amazingly smart boyfriend."

"Yes, we will." He didn't stop holding her. He already hated it when she was gone for school but at least he knew where she was and that she was relatively safe, but this time he would never know. George had a feeling he was constantly going to be looking at his wrist after she left, "Just promise me you'll be safe. And if something horrible happens that you'll come find me. Or if once you're all done you'll find me immediately."

"Why wouldn't I find you immediately?" She looked up at him, "As soon as this is all over, you are the first person I want to see."

He let out a slight laugh, putting his forehead to hers, "Seriously though, be safe."

"I'll do my best." She held him tight, "I have a very good reason to come home."

"What's that?" He smirked.

"A tall red-head with a beaters build who isn't afraid to play a trick on anyone." She smirked back and he gave her a quick kiss, "What makes you think I wasn't talking about Fred?"

"Just a lucky guess." He held her face.

"We should probably get back before someone catches us out in the open." She lowered her arms from him.

Hermione was spending time with her parents, Harry was back at 4 Privet Drive, Ron was helping his family prepare for Fleur and Bills wedding, Fred and George were working on their business, and Bridget was helping the twins as well as working with Remus and MacRose on mastering her flying abilities, she'd decided not to go to her assessment since she needed to concentrate on learning to use her abilities not pass a test.

It was the end of the first week of summer and she and George were at Flourish and Blotts, since they needed to find the book that had the contraceptive potions. He had of course gone somewhere else, to find who knows what, as she looked through the stacks of books and flipping through the pages and pages of potions. Hermione had told her the name of the book but she couldn't remember it since it was rather long, and she had been distracted as to how her friend knew these potions were in this book. Eventually she found it and went to find George and when she did she stared at him for a moment, sitting on the ground, his legs crossed as he looked entranced by the book in his hand. She moved quietly, not wanting to distract him and swooped in taking the book from his hand, "So what is it that had you abandoning-"

Her voice stopped as she looked at the picture on the page which was a naked couple entwined in a bed. She looked to the section they were in and it was Muggle Favorites, she looked at the cover of the book then down to him, a blush on her face, "Kama…Kama Sutra?"

He was up in a flash taking the book from her hands and hiding it behind his back, "It was suggested reading…for you know…"

"With all the classes I've taken you think I don't know?" She held back a smirk, "You seemed so confident during the Christmas Holiday, what happened?"

"Oh I'm still confident," He gave her a small somewhat shy smile, "I just want to make sure…"

"Make sure of what?" She asked.

"I've heard it can hurt the first time and I don't want to hurt you." He looked slightly ashamed.

Bridget couldn't help but laugh, "I've heard that too, but I'm sure you won't hurt me. Was this book, specifically this picture helping to explain how to avoid any pain though?"

"I had already read that part." His face flushed and she laughed shoving him slightly, "What? I'm sorry I said I was going to keep you up all night so I have the best ways to do that."

"Well you have to buy the ingredients for the potion and it'll take me a week to make it so you have time." She stepped towards him, moving herself to where her lips hovered under his, "So why don't you buy that book and read it some more?"

"You think I won't." He smirked.

"Oh I'll dare you to do it." She teased, "Maybe I'll read a chapter or two myself."

His stomach dropped once again thinking of what she had done the summer before, he knew that they were talking about sex and yes that got him excited as much as anything else, the thought of her doing anything like that for him always made him get flustered. He lightly pressed his lips to hers, "Looks like the book is ours then."

She laughed as he took her hand and paid for the books before returning to his store to see what other ingredients they needed for the potion. Bridget went back to the Burrow that night to leave him to his reading.

Now that she and Remus were married Tonks spent more time with Bridget since her husband cared so much for the girl. Bridget was flying through the course still built for her and Remus had gone talk with the others about Order plans. Tonks watched as the girl tried to take a tight turn but didn't time it right and she wiped out rolling on the ground. Tonks quickly approached her, "You alright?"

"Yeah, I think I'm still in one piece." Bridget sat up brushing herself off, "But I shouldn't try it again for a bit, George might start to tell what I'm practicing too much."

"Is it too much?" She asked, "Or is it just that you don't want him to know that you're working this hard at it?"

"A bit of both I guess." Bridget crossed her legs still sitting on the ground, one of her wings twitching, "I'm assuming that Remus has told you."

"That George is your bondmate? Of course." Tonk said sitting down across from her then paused before faking a realization, "Oh you're talking about the fact that you and George are an item?"

"Yes. That." Bridget couldn't help but laugh.

"Yes, he told me." Tonks smiled, "I owe you ya know that? If it weren't for you constantly 'pestering' Remus about his feelings and equating it to how you feel with George then I might never have gotten to marry a wonderful man like him."

"To be honest it was me being bitter. He kept getting onto me about making sure I spent as much time as possible with the people I cared about so I kept throwing it back at him that he wasn't doing it." Bridget smirked, "Glad it worked out for all four of us."

"Me too." Tonks looked at the girl in admiration, she understood how Remus could care so much about her. Both her husband and Bridget were one of a kind in their circle and she had been the one to help make him feel more welcome in the group.

"Tonks, I have a question, and you don't have to answer it. I just don't really have anyone else to ask." Bridget looked at her.

"Yeah, sure what is it?"

"What's it like…having…sex for the first time?" Bridget took a bit to get through the question, "Again you don't have to answer it. You see I don't have my mum to ask and I can't really ask Mrs. Weasley as it pertains to her son, Remus doesn't really know things from a womans perspective…I just thought since your married and a woman you might be able to tell me."

Tonks nodded her head slowly, understanding, not having expected the question but willing to answer the girl, "The most important thing is that you're ready."

"I think I am." Bridget answered.

"Good, and if you realize you're not don't be afraid to stop at any point. I'm sure George will understand." Tonks explained, "As for what it feels like it depends from person to person. For some women there is a bit of pain at first but if there is any I've heard it goes away within a few minutes. But it's a connection, one that's hard to explain. When you're with someone you have great feelings for it's as if you're sharing each other's souls, each other's entire essence. I'm sure with how much that boy cares about you he's going to make sure that you are well taken care of. But remember it's a partnership, you should both be well tended."

"That sounds nice." Bridget smiled, "Thank you, I'm a lot less nervous about it now. I had only ever read things in books."

"And those can be completely wrong." Tonks laughed and Bridget joined in.

Remus had come out of the house and found his wife and Bridget, still with her wings out, sitting on the ground laughing, "What's so funny?"

"Just girl talk sweetheart." Tonks answered then looked to Bridget, "Do you think enough time as passed or do you want to wait longer to try it again?"

"No I think I've rested long enough."
