OH MY GOSH

I am so sorry for the unannounced hiatus. This year has been killing me. But I finally feel back to my old self, and I don't want to waste a second of it! I'm so sorry- EmmaZippy577 will be back to regularly checking this account and working on stories. Which, actually, this one will be winding up soon! I apologize for the puns in this chapter- I'm trying to develop a slang for the teens of the Far Frozen to use. Enjoy- this one is for all of you guys who have been so supportive and kind while I was out of it. I'm going to get back into replying to individual reviews through the story. Thank you all so so much. A little love is exactly what I needed. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

*{Snow Fort's POV}*

It was so chilly to see all of those pups so frozen at the sight of the nation my dad ruled. I looked over to Tuck and Sam and the little huntress and grinned. "Danny will be perfectly fine," I assured them in my princely voice. I had to keep appearances up for my dad.

"We know," Sam said, holding Dani on her hip.

"Yeah. Yeah. It'll be okay," Tucker said, still a little far-off and teary from his yelling and crying.

Tucker made me want a brother.

Frostbite, my dad, motioned to me and gave me a curt nod. "You handled that very well, earlier," he said in a hushed tone. I think my dad forgot that everyone knows princes are still learning. He knows I need his approval from time to time, but has forgotten that others know that too.

"Thank you," I say in my regal voice: he's a great leader and I love him, but sometimes being Frostbite's kid was such a heatwave.

"You can handle getting the humans to their rooms and such?"

"Of course," I replied and bared my teeth in the most universal sign of happiness. Dad smiled at me back and gave me another curt nod before taking the first steps off the ship, Danny being strolled along behind by a worker.

"Ladies and gentlemen," I began in my princely air, snapping my teeth down with a clack when not everyone had their attention on me. "Thank you," I growled. "We are now at the Far Frozen. The grandest and one of the very few nations within the great realm known as the Ghost Zone. The Far Frozen is very much like your North Pole. Although some less formal, our people are the fiercest warriors in the realm. Because of our love for the cold, there are very few warm showers available for you. Only about 20 in the entire nation. 15 are in the Palace where you will be staying. Only 8 are available for public use. I hope this is not an inconvenience. If it is, however, I don't really care. You will be staying in your rooms and the commons for our visitors' area unless ordered or invited elsewhere. That is all."

I allowed Tucker and Sam and Dani out first and followed after, trusting those little ice-mites to follow closely.

I looked on at the little trio. They looked so lost without phantom. I remember first meeting them...

I was walking down the halls of the palace happily. I had just sharpened my claws on Snow Drift's armor- a sign of victory in a testing fight. I was now officially captain of the guard. My claws shined and I felt fresh.

I looked up from my excited gait, only to find my father with a smug look on his face.

"Dad!" I smiled and called. "I got it! I'm captain of the guard!"

"Excellent! I knew you could do it, Snow Fort." We were alone, I believed, yet he still spoke with a formal excitement. However, he didn't scold me for my very un-royal speaking, so I decided I was chilly. "We have some very important visitors waiting in the main hall to meet you. If you would follow me, Snowy?"

"Of course, Dad," I said and bounded behind him.

"Snowy, this is a very formal meeting. I'd like introductions to be regal. If you choose to know them as peers, then you should meet them on your own time, understood?" I stood straight up.

"Of course, father."

"There's my prince."

I followed my dad into the war room, and my eyes grew to the size of snowballs. It was the three on the cave walls in the southern-most part of the capital. Dad had met them once before, and told me about them. But I never thought he'd let me meet them.

How was I to introduce myself? How was I to even GREET them?

"Snow Fort, these are the Great One, Sam of the Very Vegan, and Tucker of the tech."

I knelt onto one knee, not knowing how to proceed. Formality was the best option, considering what my dad had said earlier. "Greetings, Great One, Sam of the Very Vegan, and Tucker of the tech. I am Snow Fort, the son of Frostbite, and Prince of the Far Frozen." I said, staring at their feet.

"Hey, Snow Fort," the Great One said, and held out his hand. I was a bit confused by the gesture, until I remembered all of my classes on the culture of the living. I took his hand, gently, as it was much smaller than mine. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Danny Phantom." He pulled on my paw, as if he wanted me to stand. So, I stood.

"It is a pleasure, Great One, I assure you." I replied, unsure of the casualties he used.

"Great to meet you, too! I didn't know Frostbite had a son- but I can see the family resemblance."

"Thank you, that is quite a compliment," I gave him a grin. The meeting continued discussing the realm and the

Government and arrangements for a ghoul names Danielle's stay and all of those sorts of royal things.

I met them again, later that day, in the commons. This was on my time, so I gulped and greeted them again.

"Hey, Danny, Sam, and Tucker."

"Hey, Snow Fort," Sam greeted, a slight grin on her face.

"What's up, man?" Tucker added.

"I-Um, do you three care if I'm not formal?"

"Not at all, Snow Fort. Don't worry about that with us." Danny gave me a smile- the type that looked like it belonged where it sat.

"Chilly! Alright. So, how are you pups liking the place?"

"It's pretty cool," Tucker said, and Danny and Sam laughed lightly.

"Ice-cold, pups."

"So you're not as formal as Frostbite would have you be, hm?"

"No way, man. I'm cool with acting like a prince for him, though. But I'm a pup like you guys, and like all the yetis in my class." I sat down near them, and we continued to talk for a long while.

"Hey, Snow Fort?" Danny pulled me aside while we were all heading back to our rooms.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"I wanted to talk to you about something. It kinda has to do with what we were discussing with your dad, today?"

"Oh. Yeah, sure, what is it?"

"Danielle, she's like my little cousin."

"What?"

"She, actually, well, was a clone of me created by Vlad Plasmius. We're a lot alike, except gender and those things. I'm really protective of her, you know?"

"Of course, yeah."

"And, well, since she's a girl, (and there's no way that could happen if she was a clone of me, by me,) I was thinking about it, and I guess, she's a little more than a cousin to me, you see?"

"I'm not sure where you're going, pup," I shrugged.

"I think she might be my daughter."

"Oh!"

"Yeah.. So, I want you to be her bud, okay? When she's here? We're going to be doing a full DNA test when she's here and with us. But, when she's here before we get here, I want you to keep a good eye on her, okay?"

"Of course, Danny. I'll do the best I can!"

"Thank you so much," Danny thanked me, "that's really -um, heh- frosty of you."

And of course, following the arrival of Danielle, I made close friends with her and trained her to survive and contribute to our tundra-based society. She came with me on all hunts, and excelled at the chase. Though, she refused to harm a ghost if it was any larger than ecto-algae. She didn't wish to harm the ghosts whom had died. However, the ghosts created by excess pressure and energy in the atmosphere (Ecto stars, in a sense) were fair game. She, thusly, became known as the "little Huntress". And when the trio arrived for the DNA test, it was discovered that her ferocity didn't come from Danny alone. Being a daughter to Phantom and Sam changed the teenagers outlook on everything. They weren't old enough to have a kid - they weren't old enough to be out and about past 11 at night in Amity. The oddness of their situation (being virgin teen parents) made for some very awkward discussion between Phantom, Sam, Clockwork, and my father that I had to endure. Danielle was in an odd spot too, of course. She was an adventurer, and being cooped up in the Far Frozen for as long as she had had proved lukewarm to the tyke. She liked to roam and discover the things of the world that Vlad had never told her about. But, despite it all, she knew her mental age and desire to have parents and belong also had to be met. She loved her father and mother and uncle and aunt. After a month of meetings every other day, it became decided that Danielle would continue to explore; and Danny, Sam and Tucker would continue to work towards adulthood (and enjoy childhood) until fate brought them together again. Then, Danielle would stay with her family permanently.

I watched those little Amity ice-mites pile into the common room (which lead to each bedroom by a thin hall), and closed the door behind them. "Once again, I will reiterate that no one is to leave the commons-and-bedrooms unless invited elsewhere. Being teenagers, I estimate some of you will have an issue with that. So, I would like to warm you that ghost yeti's have much patience, but very big teeth that demand respect." Everyone seemed to understand, so I lifted my snout in the air, and motioned for the trio to follow me to their room. I turned when I heard the exasperated challenges of my guests, and let out a gravelly growl. "If you have a problem with the privileges that the defined allies of the Far Frozen have, then you may take it up with Ice Mace, the head of negotiations. But you will have to request his presence by the captain of the guard." I snapped.

"Who's the captain of the guard?" called out a pair I recognized as Tucker and Phantom's bully, alongside Sam's mother. Phantom's parents and Sam's dad seemed to agree with the questioning.

I straightened my back, and replied with another snap of my teeth, "Me."

At this, everyone seemed to quiet down and fall into hushed conversations. I continued to lead the Trio out of the room.

"Tucker?" I asked, getting rid of my royal air as soon as the trio and I were out of that room, and behind closed doors.

Tucker sniffed, trying to brush aside the stains of his earlier tears. "Yeah, Snow Fort?"

"You're a good brother," I stated and then looked to Sam. "Sam?"

"Yeah?" she questioned, holding Dani on her hip.

"You are a patient mother."

"Thank you very much," She said, giving me a smile and letting herself into their room. They sat down on their own queen beds, and stared at Danny's empty one.

"I assure you three that Danny is in excellent hands. You already know the medical feats of the Far Frozen. You have no reason to fear." I said in my regular teenager-ish tone, assuring them that my assurance was no facade. Tucker gave a short nod, and laid down to go to sleep. Danielle nodded at me and went into their personal restroom.

"We know, Snow Fort. Thank you very much." Sam told me sweetly, her eyelid falling a bit, and I took it as my cue to leave.

I can't explain to you, little living reader, how much it killed me to hear Sam rapidly sniffle away tears and give a perky and fake 'hello' to her daughter.

I feel that this chapter was very important to some of you - there've been a lot of questions about Snow Fort's origins and relations to the gang. I hope this helped.

Basically, here's the gist of the character sketch I drew up for Snow Fort.

-Regular teenager when with friends, but when being "princely" for his dad, he acts fierce and like he has a spoon up his butt

-Works as captain of the guard

-Loves the gang as best friends - trained Dani as hunter.

And I think I'm going to introduce a friend from his class in a later chapter that he may *"Or may not!" Snow Fort yells from the background "You know nothing!"* have a crush on. IDK. I have a pretty good name for her if I do. It'd be a cute interaction for Snow Fort to ask Tuck for girl advice, don't y'think?
