- Schemes interlude-
-Yamanouchi Ninja School-
Yamanouchi, a school hidden deep with in a dense forest surrounded by a mystical fog that wrapped itself around the school like a blanket on a new born. The schools rested on the side of a tall mountain, with jagged rocks at the bottom of it, to deter those who enrolled from escaping or those who managed to stumble upon its existence from entering. Of course the school wasn't with out its protection, there were countless of traps set around the forest and on the side of the mountain in case someone got too close.
Yamanouchi wasn't like most schools. For one the school building was said that the samurai Toshimiru carved the school with his magical sword. It sounded far-fetched, but the sword that was guarded by the whole school said other wise or at least gave the legend some credibility. Then there were the many student dressed in ninja's clothing.
As always the sound of swords clashing against each other resonated throughout the forest. It sparked legends amongst the locals that the restless spirits of the fallen samurai still battled against each other.
But today that sound wasn't heard. In fact the forest seemed to be eerily quite It was as if every animal with in a two mile radius had disappeared without a trace. There was also the dense fog that usually surrounded the school, flickered between, normal white to a reddish one.
The students who were usually out in the courtyard training in their sword skills, practicing how to throw shuriken and other ninja related weapons. Even the their old headmaster who usually took to sitting on a big boulder that lay in the middle of a rock garden and the lunch lady who tested them all in their agility to 'steal' food from her.
Everyone was currently inside the temple at the top of the school. Its entrance was that of a traditional Japanese shrine with Torii, and a rather small house that had a sword in it.
The Lotus Blade, the mythical sword that had been said to have been used to carve the very school they now stood in. It was a beautiful white sword with a black edge that ran all the way to the tip. Its hilt was red, and a black chain. But the colors seemed to be flickering from white to red, with the black chain changing red too. The sword couldn't decide on what appearance to take, it was as if it was deciding on which to settle. It was a battle of wills, and certainly one had to be stronger than the other.
All the ninjas were in awe, and it was to be expected. Even the grandmaster whose eyes remained as slits looked at the sword eyes widen. It was a testament of how monumental this was. The sword had a protector, Ron Stoppable, someone to call it back home whenever it was lost. It would respond the young blond call when he was at Yamanouchi.
But. That had been half the tale.
The other half talked about another being, someone who would bring great change to the world. A harbinger of sorts' whether it would be good or bad was anyone's guess. But the grandmaster knew something most didn't. The title given to the person who wielded that sword for their purpose was something that chilled the old grandmaster heart.
The Harbinger of Chaos.
But there was still hope chaos didn't meant bad. It merely meant change, in a radical way. He had a gut feeling that the wielder of the sword would appear near the current protector. He simply never thought that both persons much like the prophecy were not to separate things but two parts of a whole.
"Sensei" one brave ninja called to the grandmaster, "What is happening?" he voiced the question everyone around was thinking. All the students around them stopped their murmuring and looked at the two.
The old grandmaster face regain it usually grandfatherly look, "I am not entirely sure" he reply causing the rest of the students to murmured, "I have a feeling that this is related to the trails young Stoppable is facing at the moment. The prophecy spoke of a protector, a guardian to the sword, and we know it is young Stoppable." He commented while gazing at the mystical sword that seemed to be releasing more power as the wood creaked from underneath it.
The student around him began to murmur again.
"But what does this have to do with Stoppable-san?" the same student asked politely to his sensei.
"I had a feeling that the rightful wielder of the lotus blade would be connected to Stoppable-san. I had a certain person 'observe' his life from afar. The moment the sword began to release its power I knew then that the destined one was close." The old grandmaster explained calmly without showing any signs of duress. The power the sword was releasing was impressive. Meanwhile the students were having a tough time not showing signs of unrest.
"Was it her that volunteer"
"Yes" was the only reply he receive. It was widely know whom they were talking about.
"I fear that young Stoppable might not come out of this untouched." He said whilst looking at the sky. It was littered with flying robots of red and gold with a smiling face on them. Each looked to be about 20 feet tall, with the lasers shooting out of their eyes, " I do hope that young Stoppable is able to survive his trial."
"Do you think he might die?" the student asked curiously.
"There is a chance of that, I do not know. But should he be in any real danger I think she would move heaven an earth to save him" the grandmaster chuckle mirthfully thinking of his prize student.
The student nodded mutely.
Soon their attention was drawn back to the sword as a red fog began swirling around the sword, it resemble a hurricane from eagles eye view. It gave off an enormous amount of bloodlust. It would have surely made a lesser men wet themselves. Luckily these were train warriors, but they weren't any less affected.
The blade began to pulse slowly and steady like a baby heart, but it soon started to beat faster and louder. The pulse lasted for over a minute before it ceased causing everyone to freeze on their spot. The next thing that happened was not something that they expected. The sword began to descend into the ground, but instead of embedding it self in it. it shifted trough like a knife trough butter. It caused a ripple effect as it went trough.
There was panic amongst the student. This had never happened before. They all looked at the grandmaster expecting some answers out the wise old man, but they all noticed the look of surprised on his face.
"It looks like the sword has been called to battle" was the only thing he said.
"Did Stoppable-san called for it" the same student asked again.
"I'm not sure. Stoppable-san is able to call it at will, but only when it has left the school and it need to be found. No this is something different. Only he can call it to his side no matter where he might be" He mused out loud.
"Who?" the student inquired.
The old man looked at him looking very well his age, "The Harbinger of chaos" he replied warily.
Most of the student sucked in their breath. They didn't expect him to appear in their lifetime. They hoped that he never appeared.
"Call her. I want details of what is going on in Middleton" the sensei commanded firmly. The student all nodded and they all seemed to melt into the shadows.
-Undisclosed location-
Drumming his fingers on a large wooden desk casually looking at the window with a vicious smirk on his face. The man seemed to enjoy the destruction and anguished the robots in the sky seemed to cause.
It was exhilarating.
Never had he seen so much chaos so much pain. It was…delicious. He enjoyed seeing others suffer. It gave him an unimaginable thrill. Seeing the light dim out of their pathetic eyes. Humans were the perfect playthings. They multiplied like cockroaches giving him an endless amount of fun. For every one that died another took their place.
"Everything is going according to plan" a voice brought his attention back to the meeting at hand.
He looked up towards the wall where a sixty-inch television was mounted on the wall. It had six different windows with people sitting on similar chairs and similar desk. Their posture was rigid and commanding. Their features were obscure by the low lighting. They sat with their hands intertwined against one another. But they all had a gold ring with a triangular stone. Each of different color, Red, Green, light green, violet, orange, and yellow.
Each one of them had cruel smirk on their lips as the sound of screams could be heard from each one of their windows.
"Yes, it is" replied the man with the red stone on his ring as he gazed at the other six.
"He proved to be useful" the one wearing the green stone commented.
"What about the boy, Ron Stoppable? Is he any danger to our plans" the one with the violet stone asked curiously.
"He is no danger to anyone. I have re search team Possible. The sidekick is of no danger to anyone other than himself. We have given Drakken enough information and a good plan to succeed. It's impossible even for him to fail. Just look outside."the one with the yellow stone said with an evil grin.
"True, with Global justice out of the way we have no more obstacles ahead of us." He mused out loudly.
"I manage to delay Global Justice for as long as I could, but it looks like Betty has decided to go against orders" the one with the light green stone said.
"Will they endanger our plan?" the one with the orange stone asked.
"No" the one with the red stone stated, " We took this into account. Drakken knows to announce his achievement in a twenty-minute delay. By the time they arrive it will all be too late." He explained.
They all nodded with bloodthirsty smirk, "When will they be arriving?" the one with the light green stone asked.
"I do not know. We hope in three years maximum. Hopefully it will be sooner." The one with the red stone responded.
" I-" the one with the violet stone was cut off by a knock. The man with the red stone grabbed the remote control and shut off the screen.
"Come in"
"Sir, we are getting reports from all over the world. These things have attacked every major capital. Most of our troops have been taken out." The frantic women said.
"Get the men ready. We have much to discuss" he order firmly looking straight into the women eyes.
The women nodded and left the man in his office, 'It matters not. We have already won'
A/N
Sorry about the short chapter. I actually meant to write a longer one. But I thought it would be a nice place to stop.
I'm still looking for a Beta. I want someone that can add to my story, I feel that my vocabulary is severely lacking. PM with you qualification.
And just because you have read plenty of Ffictions doesn't mean you qualify to be a beta.
