Poll status: Yori is winning by a small margin follow by Ann Possible followed by Monique and Tara whom are tied surprisingly. I wasn't that shocked to see Ann in the lead, but it surprised me when she was knocked down to second.
Anyways, keep on voting. So far 68 have voted so far, and if you have not voted do so quick. I'm thinking of closing it soon. No idea when that would be, but it will be soon.
I almost forgot Uzumaki-Son Naruto has graciously accepted the painstaking position of being my Beta.
USN: Please note, that this universe is an AU (Alternate Universe) fixed with alternate events from the past, present and future of Earth-Kim Possible. As such, if some things suddenly appear and have been there for a while that aren't supposed to be there yet or not at all, please don't be confused.
It's an AU; and as such, not everything makes sense, but your author and I will try to have everything make as much sense as possible.

Ron's head shook back and forth trying to get a sense of where he was. His vision was blurry and from what he could hear, all the sounds were meshed together for some reason. He could feel the panic around him, but he knew that they all wanted him to stay awake. So it was with great effort that he tried to focus his vision.
Looking down to his right arm, there was a tube running from his arm to a clear bag that was held by someone - he couldn't really tell their gender - his vision was messed up and every light that they passed caused him to avert his gaze somewhere else, and from the cushiony feeling on his back, knew that he was laying on something soft and warm, and not the cold floor in which he had fallen down.
The distinctive sound of clothes being ripped, and the feeling of cool air hitting his skin was felt.
Was he being raped? He thought.
No, it couldn't be that. Last time he looked his own reflection, he was bleeding heavily with a charred arm. He doubted anyone wanted to touch him while in that state. So then, where was he? He wondered.
The last thing he was able to remember, was lifting the Lotus Blade high up and steeling himself to stab Eric. What had happened afterwards? He silently thought to himself. He remembered a laser pointer aimed at him and then nothing but pain. Then came a mop of brown hair and a pink blob. What were they? He couldn't recall what they were. Were they important? He wondered…
Then it hit him like a ton of bricks.
Ahh, Rufus and Bonnie He realized, and following that moment of realisation, things started to become clearer to him. He remembered Eric's last effort to kill him by shooting him in the last moment with a laser, he remembered how badly it had hurt then. So now, he could logically conclude from what he gathered that he was being rushed to the hospital, he hoped, because he was able to spot the white blurs which he assumed would be various doctors and nurses.
At least he didn't feel much pain anymore as he assumed that they had pumped enough drugs in his system to take out a small army. He could barely feel any lingering pain from being electrocuted to death, or the pain he felt when his heart had been peirce - that had been the worst - It was indescribable... The pain of having your most sensitive and important organ shot by something like a laser… yeah that really hurt. Nothing could compare to that he concluded sourly.
"Stay with us!" Ron heard a voice through the sea of sound, causing him to turn his head looking to where the sound had come from. With his vision blurry he only saw a blue blur and a mop a brown hair. He wondered what that could be.
It had to be a person, that much he knew, or at least hoped it was a person.
He also hoped that a big Nacho would appear like in everyone of his dream, and then fight it to the death one bite at a time; but no such luck. It never appeared.
Then finally, his sweet mind drifted back to the sweet darkness that he had been so rudely taken from - even as the voices around him not to do so - He was simply too tired to listen to protests demanding otherwise, and he just wanted to lavish in the soft object he was laying on.
He idly wondered then, just exactly what he was going to dream about.
Days Later.
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
Was the rhythmic sound that echoed in the quiet room, the quiet hospital room that currently contained one occupant. Said occupant currently was sleeping soundly, unaware of what was going on in the world around him; then slowly, his eyelids opened, revealing a pair of dark brown eyes, before said eyelids clenched shut once more as the sunlight brightly shone in the room.
Then slowly, his senses slowly came back to him one by one. His eyesight became more focused as the seconds went by, followed by the smell of chemicals entered his nostrils. It was pretty strong now that his head was getting itself sorted out. Then came his sense of touch, or more like the lack of it.
For one, he didn't feel the excruciating pain he had felt on his left arm, but his body still very much ached. It was the type of dull ache on gets after running a marathon without any preparation. He tried to sit up straight but felt gravity pushing him down, (it was as if his body had been in the water for a long period of time, and had gone from a weightless environment to well… one with gravity), the simple action of sitting up had him panting slightly; he knew he wasn't in the best shape, but this, it was just ridiculous.
He inspected the room trying to get his head straight: from the IV that was connected to his right arm, and the countless of wires on his body he could assume that he was in a hospital.
Then the memories of last night came crashing down on him. Drakken's plot, Eric, the Prom, and finally... Kim, (for some reason, now ,that name left a bittersweet taste; His ex-best friend), he didn't know if could forgive her or not. On one hand he knew from past events, he never had the best track record with his pointless plots - it was like the boy who cried wolf, the one time he had been right no one believed him - on the other hand, she was his best friend, and naturally she should have believed him, but she didn't, and despite feeling uncomfortable about the issue, he knew it would have have to wait. He was in no mood to be thinking about such things at the moment.
And speaking of hands...
Ron looked towards his left side to see a stump instead of his left arm it was gone He thought briefly, as he looked at the stump's bandage which was in white bandages decorated with red dots.
He stared at the place where his arm was. He wanted to cry, he wanted to scream, but he wasn't that surprised as he found out that could make no sound. Unconsciously, his heart rate began to speed up, which he didn't even notice as the heart monitor beep at a faster rate, alerting the staff.
Why? He silently thought to himself Why did it have to happen to him? He saves the world once he losses and arm, Kim saves it on a daily basis, and she only gets a broken nail at most.
It was unfair. Truly unfair.
"Nobody ever said that the world was fair kid."
And at the familiar voice ringing in his ear, Ron's eyes widened
"I guess I didn't imagine you." He thought bitterly while staring at his stump.
"Afraid not partner, you're stuck with me for a while longer!" The Jester cackled madly.
"Great." Ron thought bitterly with a roll of his eyes. "And I don't suppose you know just what happened while I was out."
"My lights were knocked the fuck out the same as yours. So NO! I was not AWAKE!"
"A simple no would have done it."
"...Isn't that what I just said?"
"Whatever I'll talk to you later. I don't want to deal with a headache this early on."
"Fine! I'll go take a nap!"
Ron sighed bitterly; life was definitely not fair at all he once more thought, before he was brought out of his inner musings by a female voice calling out to him in surprise.
"Mr. Stoppable?" A voice said, and Ron looked up in response, and he saw a surprised nurse looking back at him, standing near the door with her hand clasped over her mouth. 'Why does she looked surprised?' he thought to himself, before he finally managed to croak out, "Y-yes?"
The nurse seemed to snap out of her shock, he noticed, and went to get a glass of water for the boy. "Here." she murmured, as she was lifting the glass towards his lips.
"Thank you." He thanked with a strained smile.
"It was no problem at all." she smiled shyly.
Ron looked at her confused as to why she was acting star truck. He had been around girls long enough to recognize that look. They would stare at the guy shyly trying to look anywhere else but them, but she still manages to spy at the guy through the corner of her eyes.
To some, it's a bit cute, to others, it's a bit weird. He didn't have the strength to go into detail of what he thought about that particular expression, but he needed to say something as the silence was getting pretty awkward.
"Can you tell me where am I?" Ron asked deciding to break the uncomfortable silence.
"Oh umm you're in Middleton Hospital." The girl answered, inwardly sighing in relief that he broke the awkward silence that was starting to get to her. "You were rushed to surgery after… well you know..." she trailed off not wanting to bring those painful memories so soon.
Ron nodded, he completely understood. Then while looking at the stump surely, he asked, "How did I survive being shot in the chest with a laser? And what happened to my arm?".
"Well, I don't know exactly how you survive being shot in the chest, you would have to ask a doctor." She answered. "But I do know that you arm had suffered nerve damage, and it was beyond recovery. The best option was to amputate it." She said with a grimace, "Sorry." She added as a condolence.
"It's alright." Ron replied weakly, "It wasn't you fault." he added. "And you know I never got your name."
"Oh, its Stacey." Stacey smiled warmly.
"Well Stacey since I can't do much about my current situation. Could I possibly get Nacho Grande? I'm not a fan of hospital food." Ron sheepishly asked.
Stacey snorted, "I doubt anyone is. I'll see what I can do, but I make no promises ok."
"Thanks." he replied with a lopsided grin, causing her to blush in response.
"I've got to go. I have to inform my superiors you are awake, and that lady from Global Justice too." Stacey said, "She wanted to be informed when you woke up."
"What lady?" Ron asked with a curious expression on his face.
"Oh umm I think her name was Dr Director something. I'll be back in a little while." Stacey said waving goodbye.
Ron waved back, inwardly wondering what the Director of GJ wanted with him. He had indeed met the stern woman, and while most of her agents knew her as a tight ass, (pun totally intended), behind doors she was actually fun with her sarcastic and crude humor.
Out of most of her agents, he was sure that both him and Kim (when they temporarily worked with her) where one of the few that had gotten that side of her, and from what he remembered, it was after months of secretly working with her on some missions; one of the things she taught them during their partnership, was that trust gets an agent killed, it was why earning her trust was really hard.
Well it mattered not to him, he hadn't done anything illegal. So technically, he should be safe… but then why did he have this dreadful feeling in his gut?
Then like a ton of bricks, as he remembered the Lotus Blade, how he had summoned to his side back at his fight with Eric. He didn't even know how he had done that, but he hoped that the old grandmaster wasn't too angry with him, because in his defense he didn't know how he did it.
He didn't even know if he'd be able to do it again.
But thinking back to that night, he wondered if someone had taken that sword. The last thing he needed was a bunch of ninja after him for losing their precious relic. Well it didn't do him any good worrying about it now. As they say out of sight out of mind.
Then before he knew it, twenty minutes had passed; he was secretly glad that Stacey had smuggled his order for him though even though he knew that It was against hospital regulation to feed them anything but the disgusting blob they served.
It might have actually been worse then the mystery meat that was served during lunch.
Through this, Ron wondered if the cook at the hospital had any relation to the lunch lady back at school, because they served nearly the same disgusting blob almost daily, however shaking himself back to reality, he remembered that Stacey had informed him that Dr Director would be arriving within the hour.
Sighing he decided to watch some television, but then what followed after, was the most terrifying moment of his life.
He had been in a coma for about three weeks but he was all over the news. Some were slandering, and others praising him... he even had a cult! That was just plain creepy. They looked at him like the next messiah. It could truly only happen to him. He saved the world once, and all hell breaks loose.
It was so unfair! He thought.
But not all stories were about him, as he noticed that there were some about . Possible with people all over the world blaming him for the robot invasion since it had been his research that had been stolen, and it was his technology; the media was trying to pin this on him.
Curiously there was nothing on Drakken except some snippets here and there about his trail that'll soon take place. Other than that, he was labeled as one of the worst criminals ever, right up there with Hitler - now that's a shocker - with thousands of people calling for his blood, due to the number of casualties.
Ron noticed that it looked like Drakken had gotten his wish. He was known all over the world as the worst criminal ever.
"...Pretty crazy, huh."
Ron's mind suddenly snapped out of the trance it was in when he heard a voice speak up. He had been so engrossed into the stories, that he had failed to notice someone entering his room.
Looking towards the door, he noticed Dr. Director stood with her arm cross and without her eye patch. She was wearing a white shirt that clung to her figure nicely, and a pair of tight jeans that made her ass look tight and firm.
"Where is your…" Ron trailed of pointing with his hand.
"Eye patch? I wear it so the male agents take me seriously. You have no idea how many think less of me for being a women." Dr. Director reply nonchalantly.
"You look beautiful that way," he carelessly blurted out, before his eye suddenly went wide in realization at what he said. He quickly covered his mouth with his hand but not before he let out a muffled, "Sorry."
"There is no need to apologize. I'm flattered you think an old gal like me is still hot.." Dr. Director intoned, trying very hard to control the blush that tried to creep up. It was one thing being called beautiful by someone who was trying to get on your good side. It was another to have the person you liked called you that.
"You're not old at all, in fact, you're like, one of the most beautiful women I've meet!" Ron blurted out again his face making a good impression of an apple. What the hell was wrong with the world! He inwardly cried.
"Thank you." Dr. Director smiled with a tinge of pink coloring her cheeks. He was really having an effect on her she thought.
Unaware of what she currently thought, Ron asked timidly, "So what did you want to talk about?"
She cleared her throat and answered, "First of all is Betty. I only have people call me by that when it necessary, or if I just don't like them. Second as you have seen on the news, the world is well in chaos, but I've managed to keep any news on your status for the past three weeks to myself and those that need to know. Although most of them think you're dead."
Ron eyes widen, "What?"
"Man up and stop talking like a pussy. Talk clearly you weakling!" The Jester shouted.
'Shut up!' Ron mentally shouted back furiously.
"No! You're acting all shy and afraid, man up! You swore you had changed from that spineless worm." Jester snarled as he spoke to Ron. "Where's that change!?"
Ron cringed; as much as he hated it he was right. He was acting like the old Ron, afraid of everything and quick to submit. So with all his confidence he straighten himself up and asked Betty, "Why?"
Betty noticed the quick change in demeanor. He went from a sweet and scared kid to a confident and strong man. She had to admit she liked this Ron better.
"When you were brought here you were near death. On more than one occasion your heart had stopped and it had to be jump-start. One of the reporters had managed to sneak in and saw you die. Then all the rumors began, but since you were never given a funeral many thought that you were alive. So no one knows that you are here and if you are alive besides me only a few know who you are." Betty explained her heart going out to the blond.
"I see." Ron replied, "So I save the world once and all hell break lose. Kim saves it on a daily basis and nothing happens..." Ron commented coldly not noticing Betty's eye darkening at the mention of a certain redhead.
Betty sighed she knew that this would happen, "Yes. Normally when Ms. Possible does her work there are no reports on the scene. Global Justices tries to leak as little information as possible because we can't have people freaking out from the many villains out there trying to take over the world." Betty explained to him, "This time it was different. Drakken informed the whole world on television of his plan, add to the fact that thousands died this time; there was no hiding this from the public."
"It not her fault." the Jester cut in.
Ron nodded internally. It wasn't her fault, it was Drakken's and partially his. He was the one who chose to go. He was the one that chose to fight and be the hero. It was his fault. No one forced him to go and play the selfless hero.
Then a scary thought entered his head.
"Were my parents one of those casualties?" Ron asked his throat tightening in fear.
Betty paused, thinking the best way to answer him. He had already suffered enough and he really didn't seemed to catch a break, but honesty was indeed the best policy she thought, and after realising it was better for him to deal with the news now than later, she resigned herself and finally answered with a solemn expression on her face, "Yes."
For what seemed like hours, time froze for Ron as he stared at Betty after she reported the news to him as the entire gravity of the situation fell on him.
He was alone; his family was gone, and with the loss of Kim, he had no one.
He hadn't even noticed that tears started to drop from his eyes; Betty however did, and leaned in to wipe them. As she did, she said, "My condolences."
And Ron could do nothing but close his eyes, as he let her wipe the tears as he realised that this was another reason to hate Drakken.
"What about Hana?" Ron asked, with his voice breaking. He hoped his sister had somehow survived. He had forgotten about the early vacation they had taken.
"Thankfully, she survived the chaos, however, after everything was safe, she was placed at an orphanage." Betty answered. "This only happened because you were unavailable and thought to be dead and luckily, I managed to stall her adoption as long as I could from those that wanted to adopt her for what she was likely to inherit; your remaining living relatives were among those people."
A look on anger flashed across the blond. His relatives were trying to take advantage of her, but then again who wouldn't? He had about half a billion dollars in the bank. The first check he had received from bueno nacho was the first of many. His dad taken his money in the bank until he felt he was responsible enough or until he was eighteen, something he agreed with after he lost nearly $99, 000, 000 on a shopping spree.
Plus it wasn't like he needed it, then, because at the time he was still under the care of his recently deceased parents. Now, he was very thankful that he received a small allowance each week - even though some of it was spent on Nacho - and from what he saved, he knew that he had more than enough to take care of his little sister Hana without any extended help.
"Thank you." He said.
"It's no problem, it's the least I could do." Betty replied.
"But then why are you really here?" Ron asked, "I'm sure it's got nothing to do with telling me about… you know." He hesitantly added.
Steeling herself, she started to explain, "As you have seen, you have become an icon to most people out there - even more than Kim Possible ever was - while there are some trying to put the blame on you for some asinine reason." She said. "I came to ask for you're help: Global Justice is in trouble at the moment. There are several politicians breathing down our neck for not reacting on time." She paused. "And while I agree with them, it was not our fault. There were too much red tape to mobilize the necessary troops needed, and I also feel someone was trying to delay us." She explained herself. "And I had to disobey orders and mobilize my agents. I know this is a lot to ask, but I'm here to ask for you're help. I have my superiors asking why I acted without due cause, and politicians for not acting fast enough."
Ron stared at her impassively thinking the best way to reply. He really couldn't believe that she wanted to use him, but then again the reason she gave him were valid so he decided to take a neutral route, "Why me? What can I do?"
Betty nodded in understanding if she had been in his position she would have asked why too. At least he had not shot down his idea, "As I said you're an icon, and believe it or not, people have started to follow you. You're America's sweetheart your status will give us good publicity." she explained.
"So you only want to use me? And then what?" he asked containing his anger.
As if sensing what he was thinking, she quickly said. "No! I will not throw you away, nor am I trying to use you, I just want a partnership: you will be brought in as consultant and later as an agent if you wish to join it is up to you." She explained. "All I'm asking is for your help..."
"Go for it, we need allies." The jester cut in.
"Allies?"
"Yes you idiot allies." The Jester said. "Did you really think Drakken had the intelligence to plan the whole invasion? No, he didn't; someone had to have been controlling his strings." He explained. "Remember the list and what Legion told us: there were several influential people senators, council trueman, even GJ agents he mentioned. Whoever was pulling the strings not only killed our parents, but that day, they easily became the top five on our hit list, and I don't think they'll just let us to easily walk away after they tried so hard to kill us and fail." The jester tried to reason with him through logic. "Also, she helped us with Hana, don't forget that part." The Jester added.
To Ron, the Jester made sense, as even he didn't think Drakken had the IQ to pull something of such scale, and after thinking about it he looked to Betty and nodded, "Fine, but as you said, a partnership. We won't keep secrets from each other, and by secrets, I mean no lies under any circumstance; if you can't tell me just say it, I understand that you will need to keep some secrets."
Betty nods once in acceptance before he says, "As your partner if you want me to act a certain way just say so. I'm not one of your underlings. We come up front with any plans we have, as to avoid any complications. Also no spying. I know as an asset you will need to protect me or whatever, but I don't dig the violation of privacy."
"I can accept most of them, but there are people that will stop at nothing to get to you. They might try to kidnap you to influence you. I have to have some surveillance at least a few agents to protect you." Betty argues.
Ron sighed, "Fine. Yes to the surveillance, but don't forget, I need to know where you're going to place them, also about the bodyguards, we can talk about them another time. I don't really need anymore violation of my privacy right now." He said.
Betty raised an eyebrow but she accepted his request.
"You know I half expected a petulant teenager trying to blackmail…" she trailed off.
Ron chuckled," I might have been tempted to do that had you asked the old Ron."
"And this Ron is different how?" Betty inquired, "He still seemed to have an obsession with Nachos." she pointed out looking at the Bueno Nacho wrapper.
Ron blushed, "Not all of the old Ron is gone, he changed… he was forced to grow up." he said quietly.
Betty cringed at his tone, "Since we have a partnership, can you tell me about the sword we found lying next to you? Witness accounts say that you brought it out of the ground. We dismissed it as stress. So I want to know how you got it." she asked changing the subject.
"I can't tell you; I would tell you but it not my secret to tell." Ron stated firmly, "If I could I would tell you. I we agree no lies and if it was my secret I would tell you."
Betty nodded begrudgingly she hated not knowing but could understand. As a spy keeping secret was a good trait.
"And that also reminds me, this summer I will be disappearing. I can't tell you were because I don't know where it is located, and it not my secret to tell. It relates to the sword. I'll try to bring you into the fold after I ask permission."
Betty sighed there was no changing his mind, but she asked, "Are you at least going to be safe?"
"There is no safer place where I am going." Ron answered immediately.
A few minutes later a doctor came into the room.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything." The voice of the doctor said in a teasing tone.
Looking up, Ron saw a beautiful blonde in a white lab coat, and had she had redhead he would have thought .Possible was here.
She had a stunning figure, long blonde hair a tight shirt and a decent size skirt that reached up to her knees.
"Ron this is Emily Oswald your doctor." Betty introduced in an exasperated tone.
"That's little ol' me." Emily chirped in response, "And you must be the blond hero Betty has been telling me about." she said with a sly smile.
She walked up to him and shook his hand, then she looked at him as if sizing him up.
"Now I see what Betty meant, you really are cute." Emily commented with a teasing smile aimed at a blushing Betty.
"Emily." Betty hissed trying to stop any further embarrassment. She didn't want him to know that tincy bit of info… yet. "Is there a reason you're here?" She shot the blonde a dirty look as she asked that question.
"Yes, I wanted to experiment on my little patient." She smiled sadistically eyeing the blond like a predator looking at its next meal.
"What!?" Ron squeaked turning white as a sheet from both the look she was giving him, and the way she made it sound. "Experiment?!"
"Emily explain!" Betty barked glaring at her friend.
Emily ignored the look and her tone explained, "Well you see when he came here we all thought he was a lost cause as he had been shot in the chest. Well technically speaking there was a hole in his chest by all means he should have died." She said. "But when we did a CAT scan, it showed that his body was healing: his blood showed there was some type of Nano machine in his body. They replicate, and work along the body without harming the cells. I would go as fast as to say they are integrating into his body like having organic tissue fuse with machine."
Betty and Ron gave her a blank look.
"And you have no idea what I just said." Emily gave them a deadpanned look.
They both nodded.
Emily sighed in exasperation, "You have no idea what this means! We could save thousand of lives if we could make this work for everyone. So far it seems to have been made for him only. We have tried to inject it into some rat, and tried to duplicate it, but no go. They dissolve outside his body."
"Do you know where you could have come in contact with such thing?" Betty asked looking at Ron.
Ron thought about it, he really had no idea where he might have come in contact with such thing. But there was a nagging feeling that he knew. But where, what was he forgetting. Machine fused with living beings.
"Legion!" He thought his eyes widen.
"So you do know!" Emily exclaimed, "Tell me!" she grabbed him by the shoulder and shook him off. He might have lost another limb had Betty not been there.
So he told them about Legion and that Drakken had created using the Possible research from both Ms. And Mr. Possible. He told them everything from beginning to end. The fall out with Kim, the fight with Shego to meeting Legion.
Emily only cared about Legion and asked if she could go to the Bueno Nacho HQ and see if she could salvage anything. Betty gave her the go if only to shut her up.
Betty looked surprised that he had fought Shego. She was by no means a slouch she was one of the toughest villains out there. Of course Ron missed the chilling look Betty got when he retold the part about Kim letting him go.
"Well today was enlightening. I'll be here tomorrow we have much to discuss." With that she left to plan her next move.
As he watched her leave the room, Ron thought to himself, 'What have I gotten myself into?'
He dozed off shortly after those final thoughts.
Days later…
"Today marks one month since the Diablo's invasion, and finally, it seems that the president and several major leaders of the world will be discussing the fate of Drew Lipsky, who - for those of you do not know - is the man behind the invasion and the death of millions that has not been seen since World War II…"
"So, am I finally allowed to leave?" Ron asked in a tone of frustration, as he was already starting to get tired of sitting in one place cooped up for over a week. "I have places to be… people to meet!"
"Why?" Emily asked with a pout while her eyes started watering, "Don't you want to spent more time with me?"
That was not an answer Ron wanted to hear, because of his experience with what happened over the past few days; also he was uncomfortable around this woman, whether he would like to admit it or not.
You see, unlike normal patients, to the eyes of the doctors in the hospital, Ron Stoppable was special, and the reason for that wasn't because he saved the world from an army of toy invading robots, no, the reason was because of his remarkable healing ability that managed to shorten the length of days he had left in the hospital.
Obviously, this had gotten the attention of some doctors in the hospital, and one of those doctors was none other than the beautiful Miss Emily Oswald. He was thankful that unlike her, the rest didn't actively try to use him for their experiments, in what looked like an effort to figure how he healed so fast, and till now, he couldn't help but shiver at the look of sadistic curiosity she sent him when she thought he wasn't looking.
He still had no idea how innocent looking women could be so sadistic.
"I'm already healed, and I have a sister to take care of, and obviously, I'm not about abandon her because she's the last family I have left." He said rather coldly with a roll of his eyes, because after spending a whole week with the woman, he was sort of immune to her theatrics as he had fallen victim of it multiple times.
Right now though, right now was different, as he couldn't afford those luxuries, as much as he disliked them, as his little sister Hana needed him to be there for her at the moment. He disliked the fact that she was admitted into an orphanage when he was still very much alive; to him, it was the very worst thing that could have happened to her.
Of course, on this note, he had to really thank Betty for her hard work on Hana's behalf, it it weren't for the female GJ agent, he wouldn't have a sister to go home to. If anything, this only fueled his desire to show the world that Ron Stoppable was alive, so that he could swoop in get Hana to their new home safely… he was very lucky he and Betty finally secured his emancipation unnoticed. He didn't really want anyone challenging him for the guardianship of Hana.
Didn't really matter to him if he was at the moment, very rich, and his status was that close to a god walking on earth (Betty made sure to let him know about that).
Meanwhile, unaware of what the blonde in front of her was currently thinking, Emily flinched at the tone she received. She had noticed that he could change demeanor at the flip of a switch from warm to cold.
"I understand, and I wish you the best of luck in that aspect." She said truthfully.
Ron replied with a nod, "Thank you."
"But, be sure to drop by and say hi to little ol me. And maybe if you're not too much of a baby, both of us could perform much thorough... experiments." she said sweetly.
Ron shivered slightly at the thought of that, before he forced a smile as he got up from his hospital bed and strained out, "Sure."
He ran out of the room before Emily could catch up to him, and as he passed his personal nurse he pecked her on the cheek after he told her, "Bye Stacey, and thank's for all your help."
He didn't remain to see the blush that adorned on her pretty cute face.
As he stepped into the hospital elevator, he looked at his watch and was satisfied with the time it currently showed. "Good I have more than enough time to get there." He murmured before a determined expression morphed on his face as he looked up watched the numbers on the elevator descend. "Just you wait Hana, I will always be there for you." He declared.
- Middleton Courts -
"We are here today about one of the most controversial case ever as it was discovered earlier that Ron Stoppable, the Hero of the Diablo Invasion, had a little sister; today it will be decided who gets custody of the little girl, and though for an unknown reason…" Ron tuned out the reporters as he walked inside the building.
He'd have to thank Betty for using her numerous connections to stall the hearing.
Walking down the hall towards courtroom 9, Ron Stoppable tightened the hood of his sweater. He had to be as inconspicuous for as long as possible, because as far as he and Betty were concerned, both of them had planned it all out.
First step was to have Ron emancipated. Betty had gone to a judge who owed her a favor, and asked him to emancipate the blond making him a legal adult, (not that it matter to him, as he would be 18 in a few months), giving him a secure claim as Hana guardian; second was get all his assets back all under his name Ron Stoppable.
And speaking of Betty, she was standing in front of the assigned room. As he looked up and spotted her, she happily greeted him. "Glad you made it in time."
"Glad I could finally leave that hospital room." He quietly grumbled in return, as he stepped up to meet her, and looking around cautiously, he noticed that there were several men who stared at Betty longer than it was necessary.
Looking back to Betty, and spotting what she was wearing (her normal cling on suit without any weapons on her), he could definitely see why, and very discreetly, he couldn't help himself as he too stared at Betty longer than necessary before asking her, "Were you waiting long?"
"Perv." The jester jeered, "But none the less any true; look at the size of jugs." He said with a leer. "They're what? A DD? Maybe bigger if that suit is restraining them." He commented rather perversely. "And look at that fine derriere, wearing that suit should be a crime on its own."
"Makes you wonder how she fights with those big…*cough*… I mean she look nice."
"I still stand by my statement... pervert."
"Ron? Are you alright?"
Hearing Betty's voice snapped the blonde boy back to attention, and he fully realised that the person he was admiring was still standing in front of him. Mirroring the female in front of him, his a hint of pink adored his cheeks as he gave a reply to her question in the form of a stutter.
"Yes."
"Alright then." Betty said. "Let's head in, and just so you know, I've managed to stall this meeting for as long as I can; the meeting would had gone on had you wasted any more time."
After saying that, she motioned her right hand towards the room in front of them and lead Ron there, before they both finally entered. As they did, Ron couldn't help but gawk at the amount of people in the room. The room was packed with reporters, and from what he noticed (with a small frown), some of his very distant family members.
Beside him, Betty noticed his frown but did not comment on it, instead, she guided him towards the front row and sat next to him as he chose a sit to sit down on; now patiently, the two waited for the judge to appear.
Ron was still surprised at the amount of people that showed up.
"I didn't think there would be this many reporters." Ron whispered to Betty.
Betty snorted, "This were the only ones that managed to get in ." She said. "There were many more that wanted to cover the story of 'The sister of Ron Stoppable'. I told you, you are incredibly famous."
Soon the judge entered the courtroom and sat on his bench which was located in the center of the room, that was raised a few meters up before he turned, looking down on the two lawyer whom sat in front of the bench, on separate tables which were located in front of the front row sits which was where Ron was sited along with Betty.
On one table on the far left was Ron's cousin Reuben, and his wife Alex Stoppable neè Starter. On the other table in the far right was Kevin Lomax a friend of Betty who was going to fight the case for them.
"Order! Order!" The judge said, as he started banging his gavel several times until everyone finally quieted down.
Beside him, on his right side, the secretary that sat on her chair stood up. "Stoppable vs The State." She said. "In fight for the legal custody of one Hana Stoppable."
After that, the trial officially began, and the first to speak was the Reuben family lawyer.
"Your honor, there is no case here." He started. "Young miss Hana Stoppable has no relatives except my clients." He explained. "It would be prudent to send her to another family or an orphanage when she has distant but living relatives and from my evaluation, Reuben's family is a kind a caring family that will no doubt take care of her." The lawyer finished, as he was looking at the judge and the reports.
Ron scoffs at that. There was no way he was letting his little sister live with them. His cousin in law, Shaun, was nothing but a menace. He was actually sitting behind Reuben and his wife. And he had that evil smile as always.
"The state has no right to interfere in this type of case, the law is clear." The lawyer reminded. "If there are any living relatives, the child must go to them no matter how distant they are."
The judge seemed to ponder that statement, before he then looked to the opposing side. After thinking about it for a while, he spoke. "Mister Lomax anything you wished to add? If not, I'm pressed to grant them custody. The law is clear on this matter."
"As a matter a fact your honor, I do have something to add on that matter while I do agree with Mr. Milton here at the same time because the law is clear on this issue." He stated causing everyone around him to look confused. "And as he pointed out, 'If there is a closer living relative the child must go to them'. Personally, I know of another relative who is much closer to her then the Stoppable family that are present."
"I'm afraid you're mistaken, if you think there're any more living relatives besides us." Alex snapped at the lawyer with a sneer on her face.
"Mr. Milton control you client." the judge barked at the lawyer.
In response, the lawyer moved close to her and whispered in her ear. This calmed her down instantly, and seeing that she was calm, the lawyer walked in front of the bench and said to the judge.
"As my client stated, the last living relative is Mr. Ron Stoppable who has not been seen since that dreadful night. Therefore my clients have the legal right to have her custody."
At this, the judge just sighed, "Mr. Lomax unless you can raise the dead, I'm afraid I'll hand custody to them." He said.
Immediately sensing victory in this case, Reuben and Alex smiled brightly.
Personally, the lawyer took note on the smiles on both faces of the family that claimed they were nice and kind and he didn't like it. It was why he had a bright look on his face as he carefully played his next and final card.
"Ahh, but your honor I can do something much better." Lomax said as he went over to his brief case and opened it. "I believe this would be of interest to you." He added while he took out a file and handed it to the judge.
The judge read the file. The file held the current status of Ron, his emancipation making him a legal adult and full access to his money. Looking at the lawyer with a raised eyebrow, he couldn't help but quietly demand, "Is this real?"
"Indeed it is your honor."
"Hmm." The judge hummed, while he drummed his finger on his wooden desk. "Well according to this, Ron Stoppable is alive." The judge stated.
The reception he received was loud as it was instantaneous. He could clearly understand their reason.
"Preposterous!" Milton exclaimed, "How do we know those papers aren't falsified?" The lawyer angrily demanded with conviction, causing the murmurs to become louder.
"Order! Order!" The judge called out as he grabbed his wooden mallet hit the gavel trying to regain control over the situation. After he did, he turned to Lomax and said, "He has a very good point Mr. Lomax. Do you have valid proof that these papers aren't falce?"
In response to this question, Lomax turned to Betty and Ron and they both nodded. They knew this could happen, it was the reason he was here. They had expected the judge rule in favor of Lomax and not reveal Ron's Status yet.
"Yes, we can prove it." Lomax stated with the utmost confidence and nothing this, Ron, and Betty stood and walked towards the bench where they stood in front of the Judge where Betty then quietly whispered something into Ron's ear.
Everyone looked at the person with the black hoodie. They could all tell he was missing an arm since his left arm held nothing in its sleeve. They were all surprised when the person moved his right hand to reveal his face. They all saw the mop of blond hair until he turned around allowing them to see his face.
Everyone not aware of his living status gasped in shock and surprise, and soon the reporters were shouting questions and taking pictures unnecessary pictures.
Reuben family looked wide eyes as they started at the blond.
"Order!" the judge shouted trying to rein the crowd. It looked as if they were ready to mob the young boy.
After a few minutes of shouting the crowd calm down, but the camera flashes hadn't diminished in the slightest.
"It looks like Mr. Lomax has proven that Hana Stoppable has a closer relative. Her brother is standing in front of us; as you stated before the law is clear on this matter."
Milton huddled with Reuben and his wife and began to whisper. After a few second Milton stood in front of the judge.
"The law is clear on this, but Mr. Stoppable is still a minor. There is no way that he could provide let alone take care of her!" The lawyer exclaimed.
"If that is you argument," the judge drawled out, gazing at the lawyer, "Then I'm going to have to give him custody. This papers here show that he is an emancipated minor therefore an adult and has the right to take her in." He stated. "And as for not being able to provide, I've been given proof that young Mr. Stoppable has just about enough to take care of both himself his sister that much is certain." The judge explains. "If that is all you can petition for an appeal at a later date to challenge custody, but as of now Hana Stoppable is under the care of Mr. Ron Stoppable." The judge finished before he banged his gavel and added. "That will be all."
He left shortly after.
As soon as the judge left the room, the reporters surrounded Ron with cameras on his face, as hundreds of questions where being shouted at him; he could barely open his eyes without being blinded by the bright camera flash.
"Enough!" Betty shouted shutting everyone up. Ron swore he heard everyone jaw click as they close them.
"Now there will be a conference in a week. Mr. Stoppable will be taken a secure facility for the time being." That was all she said before they pushed through the reporters.
In the back he heard his cousin and wife call out to him but he ignored them and moved on.
Soon, they were out of the court and into a black car driving off at a high speed with several news ban following them.
Ron turned to Betty. "When will I be able to pick Hana up?" He asked.
"Hopefully tomorrow or the day after." Betty replied. "You will have to file some paper works tomorrow, and then we might be able to get her tomorrow. If not, then you'll get her the day after." she explained.
"Why?" Ron pressed. "Why can't we go get her now?"
"The judge ruled in your favor making your claim valid." Betty explained. "There is still a lot a paperwork to file. You are an adult, and as such, doing this boring and long process comes with it." She ended with a smile that showed no sympathy whatsoever.
"I hate this." Ron grumbled with a on his face.
"I know, and so do I, but you'll get no pity from me." Betty replied with a smirk and at this, Ron just remained quiet.
Then after a few minutes of silence, Ron suddenly remembered something. Realizing this, he turned to Betty and asked, "So how are we going to lose the reporters? I have to visit the Possible's and then head home."
"You'll see. But anyways, I'll send some GJ agents to place some security cameras around your home. As part of our agreement you'll see where they are place, and you'll be there in which areas you don't want them." Betty offhandedly explained.
Ron winced. He still hadn't gotten around about telling her about some of the corrupt agents in GJ. "That will have to wait. I have some information that not all of GJ are… clean." He said the last part quite hesitantly.
Betty narrowed her eyes at this, as she looked at Ron. "Are you telling me that I have rogue agent under my command, and you've waited this long to tell me?" she hissed.
"Well I couldn't tell you before without revealing the fact that I was alive. While I was in Bueno Nacho HQ, Legion gave me a list of names that helped Drakken out." Ron explained. "I couldn't tell you yet because I wasn't sure you would have believed me. Now that people know that I'm alive I can have Wade send me the list back. I don't want you to have it on GJ computers or anything technological made by them; it could be easily compromised."
Betty took a depth breath, "Fine. I can understand why you did it, but remember no lies. We agreed specifically on that. We share any and all information, and if we can't we just say so."
"I know that. So we will hold on the security cameras." Ron stated, "Maybe we can have Wade installed them. He is trustworthy, and a certified genius."
Betty placed a finger on her chin in a thoughtful look, "That's a good idea, of course I'll have to inspect the equipment before is installed."
At this, Ron nodded in agreement.
Betty saw this and was satisfied, before she immediately stepped on the gas pedal after saying to Ron, "Now hold on!"
Despite being more mature than he was a few weeks ago, Ron couldn't help himself as he let out a scream that was heard for miles.
- Possible Home -
Ann Possible stood leaning against the kitchen counter with a cup of coffee at hand. Looking at the clock, she noticed that it was a quarter past noon.
She had gotten up a few minutes ago and was still wearing her white bathrobe and a pair of fuzzy pink slippers * she took a sip of her coffee * She couldn't help but frown sadly, as she thought back to the moments following that fateful day, the day that marked the death of someone the entire family saw as family, Ron Stoppable.
There was a depressing vibe around the house ever since that day. The twins were ignoring Kim's existence, Kim was blaming herself for Ron's death and the twins weren't helping. James had been fired from Middleton Space Center after it was discovered that he had been the one to have create the technology used by Drakken.
And the constant hounding by the media only made it worse.
The day after the invasion, news crew decided to camp out on their front lawn, and because of that, they, the Possibles, couldn't have a moment of peace and quiet. The crew asked questions upon questions, eagerly waiting for an answer from any member of the family, and the more damaging questions were all aimed at Kim and James. Some of the questions they heard repeatedly were, 'Why wasn't the theft of such dangerous technology not reported to the proper authorities?' or 'Why wasn't Kim Possible at the scene helping Ron Stoppable?'.
From the rapid flow of questions, everyone wanted to know why, why, why?
And despite herself not wanting to admit it out loud, as the mother of Kim, Ann wanted to know why as well.
She knew she raised Kim better, so to her, the move her daughter pulled was rather shocking.
And as for James, he had the opportunity to report it to GJ, to the Space Center, and even the Police but instead, he informed Kim. He had expected for Kim to solve his problem; always with that infuriating motto, 'Nothing is impossible for a Possible.'
It was the reason why Kim relied on no one, and took on too much for someone her age, and from what Ann noticed about her daughter, that particular motto had also created a flaw in Kim that she as a parent did nothing about, (much to her ever growing regret), it made her Kimmie too prideful and a little bit egotistical, those two were Kim's ultimate downfall; and if it weren't for those two negating traits, Ron would still be here.
Secretly, she had always hoped that Kim, and Ron to end up together as they complemented each other perfectly. Of course she didn't see that happening anymore now that Ron was otherwise dead, even if he was still alive, Ann doubted that Ron would ever love her like that again.
His big heart might forgive her, but it would never like her in that way. If anything, she couldn't blame Ron if it were the case. Had she been in Kim's shoes with her experiences, she wouldn't have been able to find anyone more loyal and would have snatched him up before others wise up, as while his goofy side was found annoying, she found it funny; it always did brightened up her day.
Ann still couldn't believe that a single mistake could cause so much pain. All Kim had asked was one night for herself, and wouldn't have let anything or anyone tell her otherwise.
So it had come as a surprise when Kim had ignored Ron her best friend since Pre-K for someone she barely knew. Ann had to admit it was one of the times she had been disappointed in her. Ann had thought her the importance of friendship and family.
'Then again I made those same mistakes. The pressure of being the most popular...'
Ann was no stranger to breaking hearts or having one's heart broken. She had fallen prey of several boys who lusted after her body and had gone along with it at the time, because they were either the most popular boy's in the school, or they were the most handsome ones.
Through trial and error, however, she found that those sort of relationships always lead to heartbreaks, especially hers and in an effort to end that, she needed to change her appearance to reduce the desire towards her.
Yes, she hadn't lost her figure by no means, she still had it, but alternatively, she had opted for a breast reduction once she entered college as those are what drew the popular guys and some of the girl's attention towards her mostly.
She didn't need to be treated the same way as she had been treated in high school, she didn't want that attention.
Luckily they were still big enough to attract attention but not enough for her female co-workers to call her a slut, but she wouldn't lie to herself, as the years went by, she missed the attention she would attract when the first thing that the boys would look at as she entered rooms, were her breast.
Shaking those thoughts away, she placed the empty cup that once contained coffee in the sink and headed towards the living room. She had been cooped up in her home for a month, as much like James, she had all but been fired from her job. In reality though, she had been forced to take a vacation, and immediately, everyone in the hospital knew what that meant.
Things were tough.
Then she shook her head, snapping once more out of her thoughts again at the sound of someone knocking on the door, before an angry frown appeared on her face, once she realised that it wasn't the front door that was currently being knocked on.
It was the kitchen door the lead to the backyard.
Ann turned, around anger written across her face, they couldn't leave them alone she thought her family just wanted peace and quiet she fumed, that was all she asked for.
So in turn and responding to her feelings, she stormed her way towards the door and grabbed the door handle, then she flung it open nearly ripping it off its hinges before she later took a deep breath filling her lungs with air ready to rip whoever dared to knock on their door a new one.
But what she didn't expect what the very familiar that she thought would never hear again.
"Haiyaa, Mrs. Dr. P!"
Ann stared at the person for what seemed like an eternity; she didn't know what to do.
Here was the person that shouldn't be here at all. She wanted to cry, to run up to him and hug him, but she could do neither when her body went slack and her mind turn blank.
Ron walked through the very familiar street that he had taken since Pre-K. It felt like years since he had taken this route towards the Possible's home.
He knew he really shouldn't feel the way, he was alive there was no reason for the nostalgia, but he missed them, the Possible Clan, yes, and even Kim.
He had come to the conclusion, more like a decision, that there was no need for him to really hate Kim. She had only wanted a perfect night, and in thinking about that night, he felt that she really had no reason to believe him.
He had been acting like a petulant brat. He had been ignoring her, giving her a hard time.
At that time he was for certain in love with her, but that was then, that was more out of selfishness than anything. Now, he was for certain that he held no such feelings for her, at least not in that way. Friend they could be, but not the best friend that they had once been.
Forgiving her was more for his peace of mind more then anything because according to Betty, the Possible Clan were suffering a lot since the invasion: Mr. Possible had lost his job, Mrs. Possible had been forced to take an early vacation, and Kim was cope up in her room depressed and blaming herself for his supposed death and as for the twins they were still causing havoc.
He hoped that by forgiving Kim the spark that he loved about the Possible would return.
So here he was, gazing around and making sure his hood was secure while he walked around the back towards the Possible home backyard.
There were no news crews, they were all in search for him trying, to catch him walking down some random street. This had been all part of the plan. They wanted all news crew out looking for him leaving, the Possible and his home alone.
After a few minutes, he jumped over the fence he walked towards the door, and then as he reached, knocked three times. He removed his hood and prepared for whoever would appear on the other side, but from what his hearing picked up, someone was stomping towards the door.
That was not a good sign.
Then the door was suddenly flung open, and look of fury was written on the face of the familiar redhead that opened it, but it was soon forgotten when the he spoke.
"Haiyaa, Mrs. Dr. P!"
The redhead looked shocked. Ron expected to be yelled at, hugged, and tears, but instead her eyes rolled back and her body went slack, so immediately, he rushed towards her he caught her with his right arm, struggling a bit with the weight imbalance (while she wasn't heavy, holding someone's weight with one arm was a difficult task especially when your balance was off). He managed to straighten out his balance however as he held her tight, and then he slowly walked her to the living room before he set her on the couch.
It was then he took notice of her attire.
She was wearing a white robe and a pair of pink fuzzy slippers, but that wasn't what was getting his attention. It was what she had under it: the top part of her robe had opened up slightly giving him a good view of what she was wearing, a negligee, and it was transparent enough for him to see her large breast and the hard pink nubs.
He'd always know she was well endowed but this was different; taking a look at her, she was extremely beautiful: long white legs, curvaceous figure, thin waist wide hips that gave her that hourglass figure, and her large breasts.
He sighed to himself as he shook himself out of his thoughts, before he grabbed the end of the robe and covered her breast up. He'd never thought that she off all people would wear something so revealing.
The top was completely transparent.
"Makes you wonder what the lower part looks like." The Jester commented.
"No, I was not thinking that!" Ron shouted, blushing furiously. "This is Kim's mom!" He mentally told himself.
"So?" The Jester drawled, "Breast are breast, legs are legs, and women are women and this one is one fine woman." Ron could feel him leering at her, "Unless you play for the other team, then I could understand."
"I'm straight! Were the same so unless you play for the other team I think we are safe."
"Last time I checked, I was the opposite of your good. I'm evil so…" he trailed off.
"Enough I'm straight, I admit she is gorgeous, but that doesn't take the fact that she is Kim's mom."
"I never said to sleep with her, there is nothing wrong with looking at someone else's art work, so why would it be different for women?" He replied nonchalant.
Their conversation was stopped when Ann stirred and mumbled with a teardrop rolling down her cheek, "Ron..."
Ron extend his hand and wiped it away. The last thing he wanted was cause her any pain.
Soon enough a few minutes after, her eyes opened, her hazy vision cleared and stared at the figure in front of her: the blond hair, the brown eyes, and the freckles on his face...
Ann's eyes widened and tears began to built up, she tried to say something but simply launched herself at him, hugging him as if her life depended on it.
Ron just froze at the contact as he knew not what to do; the cause for this was mainly the compromising position they were in: her robe had opened up again, and he was buried deep with the valley of her breast... He wanted to push away, but something held him back.
"Don't fight, enjoy it!" Ron heard the Jester shout, "Fuck it then, I'm taking over!"
Shortly after, he then felt the Jester taking control over his body... and no, he didn't want to fight his alternate ego for control.
Glad that Ron was on the same page, the Jester began to nuzzle Ron's head Ann's marvelous breast and relished the softness and warmth.
After a while, Ann noticed Ron nearly purring slightly rubbing of the blond head on her breast. she blushed and pushed him slightly but she wasn't about to reprimand the blond; she felt pride that her body still had an effect on men, now if only it affected the one she wanted.
"Ron, h-how are you here?" Ann asked, stuttering a bit as she was looking at him softly, observing him for a moment, before spotting his missing arm. "And what happened you your arm? Did they do it all right? Who was the doctor that did it?" she asked in a rapid fire style question, as her doctor sense took over in an instant with her eyes widened in worry.
Ron, having taken control over his body leaving a very happy Jester, looked at Ann and answered her question. "I'm fine." He replied. "And it was Doctor Oswald, that helped with my arm, Doctor Emily Oswald."
Ann took deep calming breath but didn't stop the tears from falling, "How did you . . ." she trailed off.
"I've been alive for the past month, it was kept a secret until I recover." He answered. "Director Betty informed me of the situation after my 'supposed death'." He grinned at the end.
Ann smiled, and hugged him again. She didn't care if his head was in between her bosom, he was back and that was all that mattered. He was here, maybe just maybe things would get livelier again.
Ron smiled softly and hugged her back. He had missed this.
Ron pushed himself away from her embrace reluctantly as the jester screamed at him to stay in there a while longer.
"So where is everyone else?" he asked.
Ann winced, "The twins are in their room doing who knows what. James is ... well since he lost his job he's been depressed, and as for Kim..." she trailed off her eyes gaining a haunting look, something that set off alarm bells in Ron's head.
"What happened?" Ron asked, with his voice holding a bit of steel.
Ann looked at Ron in surprise. It seemed that this was not the old Ron, she thought, he was more mature, more... confident.
"A few weeks ago I came from work after being told to take an early vacation. I caught her staring a razor." She answered after a few moments of silence. "She was contemplation on killing herself Ron." Ann's voice was breaking and growing quieter towards the end, and in response to this news, Ron's eyes widened.
He couldn't believe that Kim was contemplating on doing that he thought. Had she been that affected? He mentally wondered.
He looked at Ann and said, "I'll go talk to her."
Ann looked afraid and grabbed him by the shirt, "Please don't. She feels awful for what she did. I don't think she would be able to handle anything more." She pleaded. "I don't want to lose her."
"Ann, I would never be that cruel with her, I want to help her; besides, we might not be the best friends we once were, and maybe we might never be, but don't ever think that I would ever, and I mean ever hurt her." Ron replied in a firm yet soft voice, which surprised Ann as she fully realised that he truly wasn't the same shy boy he was, instead he was now a man.
Ann nodded, "Sorry." she apologized meekly, even if he'd change he would still be the same Ron she knew. Always caring for others.
"It's fine." Ron answered, before he let go of Ann, then following through his promise, he headed upstairs, walking up the staircase that he had taken at least a thousand times... he couldn't help but feel a small amount of trepidation.
In his head, he mentally played hundreds of different scenarios of how this would go down, each one of them had their own pros and cons, however despite that, he knew one thing, this talk would not only help him, but also and more importantly, it'll help her.
He was over the betrayal after seeing her from her viewpoint. Even he would have had a tough time believing that toys from a kids meal were being use to take over the world.
He was over it, but the conversation he had with Ann a while ago scared him. He didn't know just what was behind that door, and after shuddering at the thought of Ann not catching Kim before she killed herself, he steeled himself and stood in front of the door that led to her room.
He grabbed the door knob and twisted it open, before he then walked up the stairs that lead to another floor. Walking up the stairs, he saw the foot of her bed, and her feet sticking out of the covers as she laid still, probably snoozing.
Standing over her sleeping form he debated on whether waking her up or not, but he did note that her makeup was running off and looked paler than her usual.
'She's been crying, crying a lot.' Ron thought to himself as he moved closer and closer to Kim, then slowly but surely, he sat at the edge of her bed, before he then shook her softly.
"Kim," He quietly whispered, "Kim, wake up."
Kim stirred and took threw the covers over her head, "Go away, I thought I told you to leave me alone." She groaned. "I don't want to see anyone right now."
"Not even a friend?" Ron asked, still shaking her. " Come on KP, you're the girl that could do anything." He reminded. "So get up."
Kim stopped stirring that voice sounded very familiar, she realised, but no, it shouldn't be possible... he couldn't be here.
As much as she wanted to, she couldn't build up the courage to peek over her covers and confirm her suspicions. What if it was a delusion? She asked herself, even if it was, she still couldn't face him in her current state.
Ron felt her hesitation and took the matter into his hands hand... singular. He grabbed the cover with his right arm and yanked it. He could feel her resisting.
"You're not real." Kim's broken voice said, " I'm sorry Ron, I'm sorry..." she sobbed releasing her hold on the covers.
Kim kept her eyes shut with her hands over them; she dare not look. It had to be her mind playing tricks on her.
Meanwhile, after having enough of this nonsense, with as much force possible Ron pulled her hands away, but couldn't get her to open her eyes.
"Kimberly Ann Possible open your eyes now!" he ordered.
"No!" she shouted back quite petulantly.
"Kim, I'm here, not dead." Ron said with a softer tone this time. "Please, Kim, open your eyes."
"No! youre dead I k-killed you." she sobbed.
"No you didn't, I'm alive." He quickly reassured. "Now open your eyes before I go and burn everyone single one of your cuddle buddies." he threatened her knowing her weakness.
"No!" She blurted out, her eyes widening in fear of her precious collection. She looked at the person and couldn't help but feel shock… he was alive, he was here she realised as she raised her shaking hand towards his cheek.
She needed to make sure this was not a dream that he was real, because she couldn't handle another nightmare. Kim hand touched his cheek it was warm and real.
... So very real.
"Ron..." she whispered shakily, "Ron..." her voice growing stronger with more conviction, "Ron!" she shouted and threw her arms around him giving him a bone crushing hug much like her mother.
Ron wanted to push her away. All the air in his lung was leaving him, but honestly, he really couldn't do that, at seeing the girl that could allegedly do anything in his arms broken, a former shell of her old self.
Kim rested her chin in the crook of his neck crying softly as Ron rubbed her back soothingly as she kept on saying, "I'm sorry." over and over again like a mantra.
After a few minutes of crying, Kim took a closer look at him. Same blond hair, same freckled face, but his eyes looked jaded, a look that didn't belong to him. Then she studied the rest of his body and realised that he seemed fine until she noticed his left arm, more like lack of it.
She saw the sleeve that held nothing. She reached and tried to feel something, but there was nothing there.
"R-ron, your a-arm!" she stuttered looking paler than she already was. Her guilt increasing knowing that she was the at fault.
Before she could continue, "Its fine KP, I'm alive aren't I?" he smiled before turning serious, "I talked to Ann, and told me that you have been blaming yourself for what happen to me, and I'm here to tell you don't. It wasn't you who forced me to go, it was my decision and I would like you to respect it by not blaming yourself." He said. "If you want to blame someone, blame Drakken."
"But I could have bel-" Ron cut her off.
"Could you have believed me and come with me. Yes." Making her wince and looked down guiltily, "But did I give you a reason to? Let's face it, I wasn't the most reliable guy, and my behavior before the Prom was poorly at best. There was no reason for you to think I was telling the truth. I wouldn't have believed me myself."
"Thats not true, I should have believed you. I should have gone with you, there were a lot of things I should have done." Kim argued.
"Yes, and that's the beauty of hindsight, but you couldn't have known Eric was a synthodrone. And as I said, I had the habit of stretching truth no matter what." He explained. "Yes I was mad at you at first, but that was then. After thinking about it from your perspective, I finally saw that I was acting like a spoiled child; I felt jealous that someone was taking my best friend away from me, and acted rudely to you, so there is one thing left to say... I forgive you." Ron said.
"I don't-" she was cut off again.
"And it's not up to you say when I choose forgive you, but it is up to you when you accept it." He said. "While I may forgive you, I can't say I'll forget, I'm willing to be your friend again. But I can't give you what we had before. Maybe someday in the far future, but not now."
Kim nodded meekly, "I understand..."
"Now get up, I want you to stop worrying your mom." Ron said. "She has been through a lot, and I don't want to hear of you trying to take your life, am I clear?"
She nodded meekly.
"Am. I. Clear Kimberly Ann Possible?" Ron said a little more forceful.
"Yes." she murmured meekly.
"Good." he murmured with his eyes softening, before he added, "Now come on, I have much to tell you."
At this, Kim smiled brightly, however noticing her state of dress, she couldn't help herself as a blush adorned on her cheeks. She averted her eyes from Ron as she muttered out, "I have to change first.".
It was then that he too noticed that she was in her underwear with only a t-shirt that reached up to her belly button.
"Is okay, I can wait." He grinned roguishly.
"I'm not wearing a bra." Kim commented with a blush, causing Ron to break down laughing. It was then she understood he had been playing with her causing her blush to deepen, "Not funny!"
"Nuh uh," he said, "Should have seen your face." he smirked as he got up from the bed he sat on and walked towards the stairs, and before he walked down said stairs, he turned around and said to Kim, "I'll see you down there."
Kim blushed, but had a smile on her face. Her best friend was back, and she was not about to let him down again. She wasn't going to let go of him this time.
With Ron, and Ann
"How did it go?" Ann asked, nervously biting her lower lips hoping for some good news.
"I talked to her, she should be down in a few minutes. I told her that we can be friends, but not in the way we were before. I also told her not to try something foolish with her life again." Ron smiled kindly and received another bone crushing hug as she murmured thanks.
Soon enough, Kim walked down stairs in a pair of sweatpants, and the same T-shirt hopefully with a bra this time. The redhead walked up to her mom shyly as if she had been caught doing something wrong. Ann looked at her daughter who had barely come out of her room in weeks.
She went up to her and gave her a hug.
"I'm sorry mom," Kim murmured. "I... promise, I won't try something that foolish ever again. Please forgive me?"
"Of course sweetheart. I will always be there for you." Ann reply with all the love she could muster.
"Now where is the rest of the Possible clan? I have to tell you where all I've been, and I don't fancy repeating myself over and over again." Ron said.
Kim and Ann wince, "I'll call Jim and TIm, and James too..." Ann said.
"They are still mad at me." Kim murmured, "They blamed me when you died, not that I expected any less from them."
"Kim," she heard Ron, "I told you to stop that. Did you forget what we talked about upstairs?"
Kim managed to smile weakly, "No, and you're 're here now and that's what counts."
As soon as Ann heard that, she called for the boys and James to come downstairs.
"I never thought I'd hear those word from the great Kim Possible, admitting that I was right." Ron teased.
Kim flinched inwardly, "I should have believed you before..." she thought, "And it won't happen again." she shot back with a smile.
As she returned, Ann looked at their interaction with a smile on her face. This was the Kim she wanted and all she needed was some Ronshine. Well Kim and her. She only hoped it would do the same for the others.
Then sound of people running down the stair was heard. The twins were the first to come down with one of their gadgets.
"You overloaded the chip! I told you it couldn't handle that much power!." Tim said.
"It wasn't my fault, you probably weren't paying attention." Jim shot back with a screwdriver at hand putting some bolt into their contraption.
"So why are we here?" they both said in unison without looking up.
"We have a guest that I think you would like to see." Ann said, keeping her mirth in check.
"Who?" they asked in exasperation much like most pre teens do.
"Look up." Ron voice said.
Both of them froze, they knew that voice anywhere, but they recalled that he couldn't be here.
They looked up almost robotically and looked at the blond wide eye, then as one, they shouted as they launched themselves as missiles and hugged the blonde, "Ron!"
Seconds later, James Possible walked down the stairs, "What with all the commotion?" he asked hearing the joyous laughter of his two sons.
He was greeted by a one armed blond with Jim, and Tim on the floor on top of him.
"Alright get off me you menaces get off me." Ron said.
Soon enough after that, the laughter ended.
"Ron! How are you alive?" They asked at the same time, twin speak Ron guessed.
"Yes, I wanted to hear that as well." Ann said, even if it sounded like he had a choice to deny he knew that he was all but ordering him to tell her now.
So he began to tell his tale again. He saw the hateful glare the twins send Kim when he mentioned that he had warned Kim, but told him to leave. Ron admonished the twins telling them that she was forgiven. The twins nodded curtly but still held their anger in.
Then he moved on to fighting Shego by pretending Zorpox had returned. He didn't bother telling them about his other personality - he wasn't stupid - then about Legion and Legacy which then lead Mrs. and Mr. P to grill the poor boy on as much information about it.
Of course he began bare minimal as per Betty orders. That was meant to be a secret. He told them that it changed him and saved his life. He then moved on to fighting Drakken on the rooftop, and getting electrocuted. Then going to the Prom and saving everyone.
He kept it short and only gave them enough information so that they wouldn't ask questions.
"...And that's about it, I woke up in a hospital room without my right arm. Spent a week recuperating. Then after, Betty came and informed me what was going out while I was out." He said. "As for what I did today, it should be on the five o'clock news." He finished with a grin.
Ann was the only one that noticed Ron called the Director of GJ by her first name. She made a note of asking him at a later date.
"What did you do?" Kim asked in exasperation.
Ron frowned slightly. Kim had gone back into thinking of him as the old Ron, "Not much, just went and made sure to have custody of Hana. I was not about to have the last family I have left be taken from me."
That made everyone pause, "What about your mom and dad?" Kim asked.
"They died during the invasion, protecting Hana with their last breath." Ron replied.
Ann brought her hand up to her mouth muffling her sob. He just couldn't catch a break. The poor had suffered so much.
Kim was the first to reach him, and bring him into a hug followed by Ann and the boys while James simply stayed out of it.
It was then that Ron wept for the death of his parents; he hadn't had time to mourn. The moment they embrace him he let it out all out.
"Are you going to be okay? Where you going to live? How are you going to take care of Hana?" Ann shot a number of questions to which Ron answer each and everyone of them.
"I'll be fine, I will be living at my home for now, and I'll be fine on the money part." he replied calmly knowing that she was only worried.
Ann let it go for now, she still had more questions and she was going to get answers. He was too young to take care of a child, but she understand not wanting to be separated from her.
Ron was grateful for this, but after checking the time, he realised he had places to be. "Well, I have to go." He said, "I'll go and settle myself at home. I have a busy day tomorrow. I have to file some papers and maybe get Hana."
He left them with Tim and Jim talking about making him a new arm with a rocket, flamethrower and other things, before he left he received a pat on the back by Mr.P, and a kiss by Ann and Kim on the cheek with Ann thanking him for bringing the life back to her family.
They hadn't been this lively since his supposed death.
Ron left the Possible home around five thirty, he had been with them almost five hours. It showed how much he had missed them, and how fun it was to be with them, but he knew that he couldn't spend every moment with them.
So, putting his hoodie on, Ron walked on the sidewalk, away from the Possible home, and headed to his. Thinking about today, he realised that to him, it had been a very productive day.
Finally arriving to his destination, he scanned the area for any news van, and not wanting to take any chances, the blond snuck through the back and found a hidden key under a rock that opened the kitchen door.
After opening the door he came to face with someone he hadn't expected.
"Well shit."
To Be Continued.
This was by far the longest chapter ever. It was originally 10K, but when my beta was done with it 5K of words were added. I hope you enjoy it, and as stated before this is an AU. My beta and I decided that Hana would play an important role in Ron's character development. As you noticed Ron's parents are dead we gave them a hero's death.
For those that are wondering about the secret organization plenty of you have guessed correctly. But no one has guessed why there are seven with seven different color stone. *Hint* the colors signify something and that is their code name.
Yori seems to be in the harem with her 1st place, followed by Ann with one or two votes less than her. Third place we have Tara or Monique both are so close. Anyways don't forget to vote.
