My take on how Zuko became a pirate and an unwilling accomplice to the Avatar. Frankly, he just wants a nap.

Meet some new and old characters that wrestle with a new world's political, personal, and supernatural troubles. The format is in screenplay, so forgive me if that's odd for some people to follow. Azula had left the fire nation and took up work as a bounty hunter. She was good at it, able to standover all those pleading to be let free. Yet one drink, caused what most would guess. A child born to Azula the only one who showed her unconditional love. Still fate deals the cards, yet no matter the cards the backs are always blue.

What if there was no Ozai? If Iroh was an only child. This story explores what would happen if that was the case. With his heir dead and now his father too, Iroh returns home after abolishing the siege of Ba Sing Se. Mourning, but duty-bound to take the crown. What if, instead of allowing Zuko to "redeem" himself because she needed a scapegoat in case she failed to capture the Avatar and/or Ba Sing Se, or because she actually cared for him and/or her friends, Azula allowed him to "redeem" himself because of what he could do for her in death?

Enemies in a century-long conflict, Zuko and Katara are reluctantly thrust together by an unusual circumstance. Regretfully dragged along with the group as they cross the world to finish Aang's training and find a way to defeat the Zire Nation, Zuko begins to question what he was taught about other nations. Can he learn to trust Katara? Or will he help his father burn the world?
