A/N: First update in like, 2 months? Sorry about that. Been kind of off/on busy, and not really in the best emotional state. So, I put off writing for... awhile.
Also, been playing copious amounts of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Good Lord, that game is SO GOOD.
Okay, anyway.
I know this chapter is really, really short. It's kind of to get myself back into the swing of things, and to add a little bit of spice to the story.
Enjoy!
Anna lay in bed, the only light coming from the dimly lit alarm clock on the nightstand beside her. She stared up at the ceiling, barely able to make out the shape of the light. Sleep evaded her, but it didn't really bother her. She leaves for London in the morning, and the lack of sleep would help her sleep on the plane later. Thinking of her trip, it squeezed her stomach in knots. But, at the same time it had a strange calming effect. Oddly though, her thoughts weren't racing. She turned her head towards the clock and exhaled the breath she didn't know she was holding when she realized it was nearly two thirty in the morning. Her eyes shifted from the clock and could make out the shape of the small snowman on the nightstand. Olaf, Elsa had called it. Anna could feel a very light breeze coming from it, and a small smile grew across her lips as the breeze slid across her face. The day's events were still fresh in her mind, albeit slightly fuzzy. She and Elsa managed to have a day just to themselves for the first time in a few days. No classes, Rapunzel, Aleks, Merida, nor Jasmine. They didn't even leave the dorm, nor even bother to change out of their pajamas. And to Anna, it couldn't have been more perfect.
"Anna?" Her voice was weak and raspy. But at the same time managed to be soft and gentle.
Turning her head back around until her chin rested comfortably on Elsa's head. "I'm here." She whispered and felt Elsa bring herself a little closer. She could feel her take a slow breath before continuing her thought.
"I'm sore." Elsa replied barely awake.
Anna smiled again, and held back a small chuckle. She shifted her body, and cringed when her thighs rubbed together. She definitely understood what Elsa meant, she felt it too. In all honesty though, it didn't bother her much. Taking a deep breath to brace herself, she adjusted herself so that she was laying on her side. The burning feeling running down her back guaranteed that she would have red scratch marks across her back for the next couple of days. "You and I both."
Elsa placed a light peck on her collarbone and nuzzled into her neck. "I'm sorry." She spoke softly, and her words were slightly slurred together.
"You have nothing to be sorry about." Anna responded as she ran her fingers through the blonde's hair that was splayed out behind her, being careful not to tug on any knots. "But I don't think I can get by with just my fingers after that." She thought out loud. In her wildest dreams, she never could have foreseen losing her virginity not only to Elsa, but to another girl in general. But now that she lay there in the middle of the night, wrapped up with her, she wouldn't have had it any other way.
"I miss you already." Elsa nearly whimpered into her neck, and Anna could swear she felt her heart drop straight into her stomach.
Anna sighed as she continued to twirl Elsa's hair between her fingers. "I don't want the night to end." And she didn't. If it were up to her, she'd pause the entire world around herself and Elsa just so that she could live in the moment for as long as she wished. But she knew eventually, the sun would rise. She'd have to leave her girlfriend behind as she left for a whole new country. Although she wouldn't be gone but a few weeks, she dreaded the thought.
"Anna?" Elsa slowly repeated.
Anna could feel Elsa's eyelashes brush against her neck as she blinked. "Yeah?"
"I love you."
Anna could almost swear she felt her heart jump right back into her chest as it threatened to burst right out from her. She smiled to herself as she placed a kiss on the top of Elsa's head. "I love you too." She whispered, never more sure of anything else in her life thus far.
"So, where are we going?" Anna asked again as Elsa led her through the parking lot.
"We're going to make use of the next few days before you leave the country, of course!" Elsa replied with giddiness in her voice that Anna has only heard a few times before. "And obviously celebrate the wonderful opportunity Mr. Oaken gave you this morning!"
Anna smiled as they reached Elsa's car and she opened the passenger side door. Where we go doesn't matter. As long as we're together.
