The Purge Part One: Invasion of the Bunny Scratchers

A/N: What took you so long? It's been weeks!

Long story short, my mom tripped and broke the back of her neck and is in rehab in a facility far off so I've had no time for writing.

Oh my God! I'm so sorry! Is she okay?

She hurt herself bad, but she's not paralyzed thank God. Between driving thirty miles to see her, going to work and coming home, I've had little time for any of my hobbies.

Does this mean we'll see a delay in chapters now?

Actually, quite the opposite. You see, she's coming home real soon and I'll be her caretaker. I'm taking three months Leave of Absence so I'll be home to assist her. For 90% of her day, she'll be bedridden which gives me a LOT of time on my hands. I've been so busy before, it almost tooke me a week to write each chapter. Now, I'll be back to my old schedule of a chapter every two to three days.

That's great! Still, it's sad that THIS had to happen before you could keep up on the story.

I know, but don't worry. My mom's doing great in rehab right now. She'll be back to her old self by the end of summer I'm sure. Now, on with the story!

THE STORY SO FAR

In the city of Zootopia, tensions between predator and prey are at an all time high. Crime is on the rise and violent outbreaks have been at an all time high. This increased tension happening in the city is due to several people.

Big Wings AKA Batrov - The former head of a religious bat cult. While under orders from the Big Cheese, Batrov influenced other rodents into committing large crimes to help finance the Big Cheese's schemes. After a showing of kindness from Judy Hopps, Batrov changed his ways and snitched on his former bosses. He is currently under witness protection with his bodyguard and new boyfriend, Larry the wolf.

Big Ears AKA Finnick - When Nick last saw Finnick they had a huge falling out as Nick tended to hang out with Judy much more than with him and the fennec fox ended up hating the rabbit. With Nick not hanging out with him as much and turning into a cop, Finnick turned to Honey the Badger to help with his hustles. It worked out very poorly. Finnick started calling Judy a "Roach" (a Zootopian term for "Bitch") and had anti-prey propaganda fliers all over his van. Nick found out later that it was Finnick that made and distributed those fliers and was working with the Big Cheese. Finnick went from Nick's best friend and a father figure to his mortal enemy.

The Big Cheese AKA Lionheart - Plotting in secret from his cell, Lionheart was discovered to be the big boss behind the anti-prey hysteria seeping into the city. From the rodent crimes to the propaganda to influencing others to act out in violence. It was all credited to the Big Cheese. While he did help out with managing these schemes, he was not the main mastermind. That was "The Adviser". Lionheart recently beat himself up in jail and has tricked the public into making it look like Bogo and the police abused him, drawing sympathy to his cause. This has lead to even more tension throughout the city.

The Adviser AKA ? - All of the contacts, schemes and manipulation has come from one mysterious mammal, "The Adviser" A mammal who's living in complete secrecy somewhere in the ZPD maximum security prison. The Adviser only wants one thing, a world where the predators are back in power and the prey are humbled and enslaved. It took well over a decade for him to plot out his revenge upon the city, but the adviser has made many contacts and he and Lionheart's plan is about to spring into action.

On election night, the Adviser and Big Cheese are planning a massive riot and jailbreak. On election night, the sleazy mayor, Donald Trunk plans to test a new invention for the first time. "The Dome" originally billed and started into funding by mayor Lionheart, the dome is large enough to cover the massive city of Zootopia during the winter so the climates won't be affected and it can remain the same temperature for each district all year long. The plan is, when the dome goes up, the jailbreak happens and the riots start. Despite the ZPD knowing Lionheart's plot, Trunk refuses to change the date on this event.

This has caused a huge rift between Chief Bogo and his second-in-command, Lieutenant Swinton. Swinton wants to be the new police chief and has the mayor in her pocket thanks to giving him sexual favors. She also thinks they need more police during election night and wants to graduate the new recruits early so they'll have more mammalpower. Bogo vehemently disagrees, saying inexperienced and unready cops could get themselves killed or kill others. But it looks like Swinton may get her wish as Bogo was fired by mayor Trunk. Trunk saw Bogo being violent toward Batrov in his interrogation of him, his messy divorce being public and his affair with officer Francine Pennington as good excuses to let him go, Bogo isn't done yet and is fighting back. He stepped down for now, but refuses to sign his resignation papers until after the election.

Meanwhile, Nick and Judy's relationship has bloomed into something more. After a dangerous and life changing visit to Bunnyburrow, Nick and Judy are now engaged and have adopted four children they rescued from certain doom.

Judy adopted Michael, her 6&1/2 year old "little brother" (Judy recently found out she was the only bunny adopted into her family and is in actuality, a hare). She took him in as her own when her father, Stu Hopps almost sacrificed the boy to giant, red-tailed hawks that had been threatening the burrows.

Born blind, Michael is a gifted natural at music and took to a harmonica instantly. He's also a bit of a jerk at times and loves girls. So much so that he's currently in a relationship with his sheep sister, Cotton. Michael was also born blind, but after Stu was racked with guilt over letting the boy possibly die, he sacrificed one of his own eyes. After a successful surgery, Michael can now see for the first time in his life.

Nick adopted three children while in Bunny burrow, these include...

Vivian AKA Spots (Hyena. Age 14) – Sharing the same name as Nick's mother, Spots was known at her orphanage as "Scratch". She was full of anger and violence and kept to herself after an incident in which she was kissing a bunny girl known as Rose, who rejected her and triggered Vivian's latent PTSD and the hyena scratched her face to ribbons. Wracked with guilt over the affair, "Scratch" could no longer scratch anyone as she had her claws removed. However, Nick saw the potential good in the teenager. After seeing Nick fail to adopt Cristine, a sheep with crippled legs due to the lamb being scheduled for sacrifice, Vivian took her place and Nick was able to adopt the little lamb.

Once Nick found out about the town sacrificing their special needs children to the hawks, Nick started rescuing them and managed to tackle a hawk that was about to take off with Vivian. Vivian was enraged as she felt her sacrifice would help save the other orphans. It took awhile for Nick to convince her that the hawks wouldn't stop and he wanted her safe. A bond quickly grew between Vivian and Nick. He became her alpha and would listen to what he said. She told him about her dark past, but Nick loved and accepted her for who she was, calling her "Spots" for the black spots on her gray fur. He adopted her into his family.

Spots is a self-proclaimed, proud lesbian who now seems to be in a romantic crisis. For the first time in her life, she's staring to fall for a boy. A cougar named James Wolford. The adopted son of officer Tim Wolford and his wife, Auburn. She feels she's losing her identity. Now that her and Rose have made up and have become friends again, is it possible that their old relationship can be re-kindled, or will she finally give in to her straight side?

Cristine AKA Cotton (Lamb. Age 7) – The niece of former assistant mayor Dawn Bellwether, Cristine was born with with her legs backwards from the knees down. This led to the children in the orphanage calling her "Crazy Legs". She was due to be sacrificed before Nick came in and adopted her while Spots also intervened and replaced her as the sacrifice. After going to the Hopps homestead with Nick, Cristine, now nicknamed "Cotton" by Nick (Heh! "Nick-Named." I just realized that.) met the blind bunny Michael and the two fell in love almost instantly. Cotton tends to have a bad temper and an unnatural gift. She can draw extremely well for her age, but tends to draw visions of the near future that pop up in her head.

Peter AKA Petey (Age 6) – Currently the youngest child of the Wilde family, Nick found Petey chained to a tree for sacrifice by his abusive, drugged-out mother. His only disability was a lisp and touretts syndrome which causes him to randomly swear out loud. Despite growing up in an abusive household, Petey is kind and very sweet. The lisp he once had was done away with after it was discovered he had a swollen tongue that his mother burnt with a hair curler. Nick had him taken to an oral surgeon to fix the problem (plus, my readers couldn't understand him). Petey has a passion for fashion and often insults his fathers poor taste in dressing. Ben Clawhauser's adopted mountain lion Sarah is his girlfriend, but there's also a boy interested in him. Gideon Grey's foster son, Wiggly the pig. Petey only sees him as a close friend. Or does he? Petey's long lost twin sister Cindy has been calling out to him in his sleep, so the family plans to look for her today. What they'll find is a very special child that will take a great amount of care and getting used to.

While they were partners for a long time, Nick and Judy's professional relationship has split up a bit. Judy has gotten a new partner in Benjamin Clawhauser who's looking to get back into shape while Nick was put on special solo astringents by chief Bogo. One of which made him the most beloved person in Little Rodentia (see "A Hole in the Wall" t's my favorite story that I wrote.) He also went undercover in prison to try to find out the secret behind the Big Cheese. This led him in direct confrontation with the polar bear Rusev. Zootopia's second biggest mob boss and the murderer of Spots' parents. After fighting both the red-tailed hawks that were threatening Bunnyburrow and taking on Rusev, Nick has became very injured with two deep wounds in both his shoulders and a huge scratch across his chest that required a lot of stitches.

Nick wanted to counter the Big Cheese's anti-prey movement with one of his own. "Preds for Peace". A form of neighborhood watch for the entire city where it was encouraged for predators to help and protect prey from any vicious attacks by either reporting to the police right away or getting involved. Bogo hated the idea and saw it as a militia, but Nick and Judy believed in the project. Nick believed in it so much, that he gave up his badge. However, after Bogo was fired, Nick decided that the best way to ease Bogo's concerns about "Preds for Peace" was to put the buffalo in charge. Bogo reluctantly agreed.

Poor Nick also has too much on his plate. After FINALLY checking his savings account that he hadn't touched in years, realized he was a millionaire. When the head of a restaurant was disgusted at Nick and Judy dating, he bought the building from under the restaurant owner and fired him. What he didn't realize was that the building also came with an entire apartment complex. Old and dilapidated, Nick is working to turn things around and help ease the tenants concerns. This also led to Nick and Judy having a nice, large penthouse apartment on the top floor with plenty of room for their growing family.

However, the citizens of Zootopia are planning something for Nick that he's not expecting and it will change his world.

Other major characters in the "Big Cheese" story arc are...

Duke Weaselton – After a life of crime, Duke has changed his life around and is now the proud owner of a construction company. Their first big project is some reconstruction on the Clawhauser family's home. After helping officer Delgato rescue some immigrant workers, Duke was awarded "citizen of the year". He recently got married to his secretary, Juanita and now has a stepson named Paco that he loves very much.

The Clawhausers - Benjamin Clawhauser married the tiger girl he's had a crush on for over a year, officer Terry Fangmeyer. The thing with Clawhauser is, he recently realized he's bisexual which fits perfectly with Fangmeyer as she's a transvestite. (When I went to the Zootopia Wiki, I realized Fangmeyer was female, but I'll be danged if all of her pictures don't make her look male.) Terry has a twin brother named Tyler who's now engaged to the famous singer, Gazelle. Ben absolutely loves this as he'll be related to his idol.

Shortly after getting married (which they rushed into) Ben and Terry adopted a young giraffe named Suzie (age 12) and her favorite foster sister Sarah (age 5&1/2). The young mountain lion Sarah. Sarah also goes by the nickname "Skates" as she's paralyzed from the waist down and gets by on some custom made skates Suzie made for her that she can lay on and scoot across the floor. Sarah is Cotton's best friend and has a crush on Petey.

The Wolfords – Officer Tim Wolford and his lawyer wife Auburn have been happily married for over a year. They recently adopted James Catmull (age 15). Cousin of Bobby Catmull after his mom died of cancer and left her son to the Wolford's in her will. The Wolford's are moving out of their old apartment and into James' home. The young cougar is having a hard time adjusting to his new life without his mother, but he has a ton of support from his new parents and his best friend/possible girlfriend, Spots. James recently discovered that he and Sarah are close cousins, but he lied to the little mountain lion and told her they were half brother and sister. James is fond of the Clawhausers and wants them and the Wolfords closer. Tim Wolford is recently out of action on the force due to a concussion and burns he received on some recent assingments.

I can go on about other characters and subplots, but you got the meat of it for now. (I'm starting to realize that I stretched myself too far. But hey! This is my first big project like this.) Now onto part one of my big climax!

Chapter One: Election Day

9:00 am ZPD Headquarters

Judy Hopps was sitting next to her new partner Ben Clawhauser. The two were surprised at the huge turnout of people for today's meeting. The meeting room was packed paw to paw, hoof to hoof with all manner of mammals.

"Sure is packed!" Ben mentioned.

"You can say that again." Judy replied. "I guess we're gonna have enough mammals on the job tonight after all!"

"Yeah! Y'know, maybe Swinton isn't gonna be such a bad chief after all."

This cause Judy's ears to flop down in anger. "Grrrr!"

Ben backed off the subject. "Or...not. Who knows? I...I had a hard time saying goodbye to my wife and kids this morning."

A sympathetic Judy understood too well. "I know what you mean. I feel like this could be our last patrol."

"Don't say that!"

"I'm not saying it is! I just...I got a bad feeling. I said goodbye to Nick and even cried a little. I couldn't dare say goodbye to Michael and the other kids. I'm normally confident and ready but today, I'm scared."

Ben put his paw on hers. "Me too Judy. Me too."

"A-TEN HUT!" Higgins shouted as the new police Chief Swinton entered the room.

She walked behind the podium and quickly realized it was too big for her and she couldn't be seen. "Higgins, could you be a dear and..."

"Oh! Yes ma'am!" He ran off to get a stool.

"That's 'Sir' now." Switon replied. Correcting the hippo.

Higgins came back with a stool that Swinton had to climb just so she could be seen over the podium. "Thank you Sergeant Higgins. Good morning everyone!"

"DAAHRR! Good mornin' teacher!" Shouted officer Krumpanski.

"I'm not your teacher Krumpanski, I'm your boss. You're at work."

"...Ooooh! 'Den whose homework do I have?" The dumb rhino wondered.

"UGH! Anyway, as you are all aware by now, former chief William Bogo has stepped down and I have taken over."

Snarlov snickered. "Dah. 'Stepped down'. Sure comrade."

Swinton leered at Snarlov. "Alright. I know this is not a popular decision, but I AM the chief now and you WILL follow my orders! We need to work together if we're going to get through today. I needn't remind you that Lionheart has gotten many of the predators in the city riled up and ready for war! And it's war they'll get. Now, if anyone has a problem with me being your new chief, there's the door! See yourself out!"

Snarlov and Simmons looked at each other. They nodded in agreement as if they both decided what they planned to do long ago. They walked up to the podium and handed over their badges.

"Das Vadanya!" Snarlov said to Swinton.

Simmons didn't quite get it. "Uuhhh yeah! Whut he said. I think. We think yer a jerk fer whut y'all did 'ta Bogo, so we decided we're gonna skee-daddle and work with Bogo on 'Preds for Peace'. Happy trails Miss Piggy!"

Swinton was visibly upset. "Fine! Leave then! Anyone else?!"

Tiger officer Jackson raised his paw which upset Swinton. "You too Jackson?!"

"Oh! Uhh no ma-sir. I just need to use the restroom."

"Can't it wait?!"

"I'm sorry sir, but I can feel a small bump near my eyebrow. It might be a zit and I need to look in the mirror! I cannot let a blemish come upon my handsome visage."

"Oh please Jackson. You're so damn vain. I don't see why. Half the time, you're confused for Fangmeyer."

This caused some of the men to laugh. "Now if everyone's done, I have some announcements to make. As you can tell, there are a lot more people in this room than normal. So much so that it's standing room only. This is because we're instituting a program tonight. The senior members of the police academy will be out on patrol with you tonight as a temporary internship. Officers will not only be paired together, but will each have a third man that will follow your lead. This will be a great educational tool for them as they get closer to their graduation. What's more, we know that there has been some illegal weapons manufacturing going on. We have good intel that these weapons are still out there and will be used tonight. We MUST fight fire with fire!"

Judy was getting unsettled. "I don't like where this is going."

"So, we have a ton of these weapons confiscated and we are going to train our officers in how to use them. Tonight, dart guns will not be enough. We need to defend ourselves!"

Judy (along with most of the officers in the room) was absolutely shocked at what she heard and immediately raised her paw. It did not go unnoticed by Swinton. "Yes Judy?"

"With all due respect...'Sir'...are you out of your damn skull?!"

"Extreme measures call for extreme action Judy! We can't take anything for chance!"

"As many of you know. I shot a hawk in the face with a shotgun. It was the first time I held a deadly weapon and...and I used it! I don't care if that hawk was a child killer, I misused and abused that power and I killed him! I still haunts me! If you let our officers have guns, it will only result in death!"

"I understand your concerns Judy, but I've made my decision."

"But sir! I..."

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Swinton shouted. "Judy. I need to see you in my office. Clawhauser, officer Johnson chose to quit the police force and join Lionheart's little gang, so you'll be partnered with Delgato tonight."

A nervous Judy took a big gulp. Clawhauser patted her on the back. "Good luck Judy. I hope she goes easy on you."

Judy's ears drooped. "Thanks Ben."

Clawhauser looked over at Delgato. "Looks like it's you and me Del! Go team kitty!"

Delgato snarled. "We are NOT calling ourselves 'team kitty'!"

Swinton gave out the team assignments and what rookies were being partnered up with which cops. "Higgins, you'll be with your old partner, Bob Trumpet."

"I'd rather not sir." Higgins growled.

This upset Trumpet. "Hey! Since when did you have a problem with me Higs?!"

"Ever since I found out you tazed that boy for a long time on purpose! Then I realized the truth. You hate all predators! Bogo was right to fire you. You're a bad cop!"

"You're actually gonna believe that hothead Higs? C'mon! We've been partners for years. You know me!"

Higgins walked off with Trumpet. "SIGH! If you got my back, I got yours. But I'm watching you."

Moments later, Judy was in Swinton's office. She sat alone in the giant chair that use to make her feel small whenever Bogo was chewing her out. However, it now had a different effect. Because as Swinton entered her office, she was in a much smaller desk that was made to her size and she had to look up at Judy.

"Wow. This is NOT working." Swinton said. "I'm gonna need to replace that chair. Officer Hopps, please get down. I need to talk to you."

Judy hopped down and stood across Swinton's desk. "I...I don't care if you fire me sir. I have to speak my mind. It's not only very dangerous to have rookies...not even rookies, STUDENTS out on patrol tonight, but to give our officers live ammo guns?! That's insane!"

"That's YOUR opinion officer Hopps and that's not why I brought you in here. You're not in trouble for speaking your mind. I have a special assignment for you."

Judy was surprised. "Oh?"

"Last night, at the Lucky Feet supermarket in Bunnyburrow, a fox who was stocking shelves suddenly and without warning, attacked a group of bunnies mercilessly. Killing one of his co-workers before a large group of bunnies was able to attack and subdue him."

Judy was shocked. Her ears shot straight up and her nose twitched in fear. "My God! Why did this happen?"

"We believe we know why. They gave us security footage of the attack. Have a look."

Judy watched the tape. The fox was happily stocking the top shelves. All of the sudden, he fell down. He held his head like it was hurting and him and he started shaking. A bunny employee went over to see what was wrong and the fox swiped him away. His face was in a snarl and drool was raining off his fangs.

Judy watched on in horror. "I've seen that look before. He's gone savage!"

"That's right." said Swinton. "It gets graphic from here."

The fox went after the rabbit that tried to help him up. He bit deep into his neck and started trashing him about. Other bunnies and a sheep ran in and tried to pull the fox off the bunny and he started clawing and biting at them. It took a bunny with a fox taser and another with a wooden bat to finally get the fox to stop.

"My God!" Judy exclaimed after watching the video. "Swinton. Rewind to the beginning. I think I caught something."

"Good eye." Swinton replied. She started the video again. Judy watched closely as the fox was stocking shelves. Then she saw it. "Pause right there! Look! Some kind of blue cloud is coming from the vents. It has to be a gas! Maybe Nighthowler gas?!"

"Bingo." Swinton replied. "Now what else is wrong with this picture?"

Judy responded quickly. "The gas isn't affecting anyone else. Just the fox."

"Right again. This is why the ZBI has made sure this tape hasn't gone public. This gas is species specific. We have reason to believe Lionheart's people are behind it. Unlike the Nighthowler drug though, it's not permanent. The fox has woken up in Bunnyburrow state pen. He doesn't recall anything that happened last night. He says he was stocking shelves and everything went black."

Judy couldn't believe it. "A species specific Nighthowler gas."

"Now do you see why I'm using the extra men? The firepower? If this gas spreads over the city, we're all doomed. Word hasn't gotten out yet about the incident, but we can't trust the witnesses not to spill the beans eventually."

"So what do you want me to do?"

"I want you to go down to Bunnyburrow and investigate the incident."

"But Bunnyburrow's three hours away at least! The riots are expected to happen as soon as the dome goes up!"

"I managed to convince mayor Trunk to delay the proceedings till 7pm. I can't believe he still insists on going through with it. That should give you plenty of time for you and your partner to find out."

"My partner?"

Swinton handed over a badge. "Nick Wilde. We haven't finished the paperwork for his resignation yet. We need it to look like you two are just a happy couple visiting family for a short while to keep the investigation under wraps."

"But he quit! And he's heavily injured."

"I know. I know. It's just an investigation Hopps. We're not expecting him to get into any major action. As long as he can stand and walk, he'll be fine. Now you have your assignment. Take your fiance with you to Bunnyburrow. Visit the family for a little bit to keep up appearances. Go investigate the scene. We let them know you're coming. Find out where the gas originated and try to stop whoever's doing this before it's too late! Now go change back into your civvies and call officer Wilde."

"I better be quick. He was heading to Bunnyburrow soon anyway to drop off the kids back at my old home. We don't want them in the city when the chaos happens."

"Great timing then! Now hurry up. Dismissed!"

Judy headed towards the locker room as she got on the phone with Nick.

"Hey Carrots! This is a surprise."

"Hey hon. Have you left with the kids yet?"

"Nah. I promised Spots she could stay a few more hours to help James move the Wolfords into his home."

"Good. I'm going with you."

"...WHAT?! Did that pig fire you?!"

"No! We actually have an assignment in Bunnyburrow."

"Who's 'we'?"

"Me and you."

"...I quit Judy."

"I know, but they haven't filled the paperwork out and I really need you for this. A fox went savage and murdered his bunny co-worker. We believe he suffered from a form of Nighthowler gas and we need to investigate."

"Well I certainly can't have foxes looking bad. You just couldn't keep me away could you? What about the kids?"

"We'll be taking them with us of course! We'll drop them off at the farm."

"Alright. Spots will have to cut her time with her boyfriend off early. I'll give her some time by picking you up first. Plus, I gotta hurry now and get the kids ready. Hey kids! Judy's coming with us to Bunnyburrow!"

"Mommy's coming with us?!" Shouted Michael.

"Yup! She'll be with us the whole trip over."

"YAAAAY!" Screamed Michael and Petey. They started bouncing up and down like mad.

Suddenly, Judy heard Nick scream over the phone. "AAACK!"

"What's wrong dear?" Judy asked.

"The bunnies are too excited! They're binking off the walls! Off the ceiling! Everywhere! Cotton! Hurry and hide behind the couch with daddy!"

Judy chuckled "Well I'll leave you to your binking problem. Don't be long."

"It might take me a AAAH! A little while fluff. I've got to get these binking bozos ready and they still need to pack."

"Well hurry. I'll be waiting out front. Love you!"

"Love you too Carrots. Be there in half an hour. PETEY! DON'T BOUNCE OFF THE CEILING!" Click!

Judy hung up the phone. She went to the locker room and got into her civilian clothes. On her way out, she stopped by and chatted with Francine Pennington who took over the reception duties when Clawhauser became a patrol cop. "Hey Francine!"

"Hi Hopps! Why are you in your civilian clothes?"

"Top secret mission I'll be out of the city until tonight."

"Lucky! I'm stuck behind this desk for the next 12 hours or so."

"At least you won't be out in that madness."

"True." she sighed.

"What's wrong?" Judy said with concern.

"I dunno. It feels like...It feels like I'M the one that got Bogo fired!"

"What?! Of course not!"

"If he weren't with me..."

"It wouldn't matter. Swinton and Trunk were looking for any excuse to fire him. It was his violent behavior towards Batrov that did him in. You were just a...a layer in a huge conspiracy cake!"

"That's an odd way to put it, but...I guess."

"So..."

"So what?"

"Do you love him?"

Francine blushed. "Bogo? Well...I have been letting him live with me and I really hadn't had enough time lately to sort my feelings, but...yeah. Yeah I do. Everyday he comes to my place, he just seems so much happier."

They were interrupted by a rabbit approaching Judy. He was wearing a small police uniform. "Excuse me miss Hopps?"

Judy was surprised by the male rabbit. "Oh hi! Don't tell me we have another bunny on the force!"

"You will soon. My name's Harvey. Harvey Earlong." He extended his paw to shake.

Judy shook it politely. "Judy Hopps."

"Oh I know all about you officer Hopps! You're a big hero of mine. Nobody thought a bunny could ever become a cop."

"Thanks! Although technically, I'm a hare. I was adopted."

"And she's engaged!" Francine said with an angry pout.

"Oh yes! I heard about that." Harvey replied. "To officer Wilde, yes?"

"Former officer Wilde, but yes."

"Really?! That's a shame! I've been following your work for awhile now. You two are so great together."

Judy giggled with delight. "Tee-Hee! Why thank you!"

"I just came over because I wanted to say, you inspired me greatly. I never thought I could accomplish anything great until I saw what you could do. I'm just a cadet right now, but I can't wait to be one of your co-workers."

"That means a lot to me Harvey. It just proves that in Zootopia, anyone can be anything. Who are you riding with today?"

"Delgato and Clawhauser."

"Great! Clawhauser's been my new partner this past week and he's VERY reliable. If you have any other questions, he can tell you all about me. All good I hope."

"Ha!-Ha! I hope. Well it's been an absolute pleasure meeting you. See you around!" The rabbit then left.

Judy waved goodbye. "See you!" She was on cloud nine as she turned to Francine. "Can you believe that?! We're gonna have another rabbit officer!"

"Oh yeah. I'm sure Nick will be THRILLED when he finds out." Francine said with a sarcastic tone.
