"I didn't come back to Riverdale for either Veronica or Betty." Nick looked into the hazel eyes of the teen age boy standing across from him.
"Then why did you come back?" Kevin's right eye brow rose. "Don't say it's because of Cheryl. Even you deserve better than that Nick." He crossed his arms across his chest as he glared into the eyes of the boy whom had played both Veronica and Betty against each other … and for no reason. Just the sheer fact that he could.
Nick sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair. "I spoke the truth Kevin. I want to turn over a new leaf. I want to make amends with the people whom I truly hurt. Betty and Veronica are two of those people."
"Well Nick St. Clair I'm not one of those people." Kevin growled. He turned and walked down the street.
Nick blinked. "I deserved that." He jogged to catch up with the fast paced teen. He set his hand on Kevin's shoulder.
Kevin jerked the hand away. "I didn't give you the okay to touch me." His head twisted so he could look into Nick's eyes.
"You are right." Nick nodded his head. "I know that you have no right to trust me … or to even want to trust me." He sighed. "I really want to try to prove that I can be worthy of your friendship."
Kevin stopped in his tracks and turned to face Nick. "If you are trying to seriously Betty and Veroncia ever again with a new ploy Nick St. Clair then I'm telling you that this time I will make sure my father throws you behind bars." His eyes slanted.
Nick silently nodded.
Kevin sighed. "But I will give you a chance. This is your last chance Nick"
"Thank you." Nick sighed.
Kevin silently nodded and contiuned to walk down the street.
