Chapter 18: The Unexpected Journey to an Unknown Place
Healer Knight came at 2 o'clock back in my room. He came alone and had a few potions with him. He gave it to me but the bottle was black so I couldn't see what was in it.
"Just drink it all up." He said and as I did he looked so intently at me that I expected something to happen. And after five minutes something DID happen. I felt that my blood begun to get warm and it rushed through my veins. Then I started glowing. The light was so bright that Healer Knight had to look away. And as the light dimmed and vanished I felt my blood cooling down again. I looked up to Healer Knight and I saw him grinning like a mad man. I waved my wand and my thoughts were again in the air.
"Is that a good sign?"
"That is a really good sign, Ms Grey." And with that he took his things.
"I will be back tomorrow. I hope you will not be bored." He walked out the door and I was alone again. I had a weird feeling about Healer Knight. He didn't seem right. There was that nagging in me that he wasn't what he was supposed to be. Even with his so thoughtful words I got bored quite fast. I mean what would you do in a hospital room with just a desk and a bed? Oh and don't forget the closet! So much things to do with a closet! Note the sarcasm. This whole solitude thing wasn't good for my wits. I go crazy in here. If I had only brought a book or parchment. I started thinking about everything. What kind of dress Lily would force me to wear on her and Scorps wedding (because we all know that they will end up together in the end). What Fluffy was doing? If the girls in my dorm were happy to see me gone (A big YES in my head as soon as I thought it). If Louis was disappointed that he couldn't say good bye (I was VERY disappointed) and if and when they would visit me. Then I wondered if Harry and Ginny knew. I hope one of the many Weasleys would write them. I don't want them to worry. And then the big question came back. What was going on with the unicorn thing? It just doesn't make sense. Why do I have unicorn blood? Why do I have the magical healing of 5 seconds? What was going on? Is this thing connected to my inability to speak? It dawned already and I got my dinner. After dinner I asked the nurses if they had a book or parchment for me. They looked at me blankly and went out of the door without an answer. What was wrong with asking for parchment or books? Maybe they weren't used to people asking them stuff. I shrugged my shoulder at them and tried to sleep. It was surprisingly easy. As if I was drugged, I could just change my clothes and brush my teeth before I fell into my bed and slept.
I woke up by a sudden bump. I was confused what was going on and tried to open my eyes. They were heavy with sleep but after a few tries it worked. I gasped but of course no sound was heard. I was on a broom! How the hell did I end up on a broom?! I felt a presence behind me and I knew that I shouldn't let the person know I was awake. My brain was starting to work and I figured out that I WAS drugged. So that some person could just take me and fly in the night with me. I open my eyes a little and saw that there were more than just the person and me. Before us were two and I could see that every minute there would be a different person to the right of us. In total were there six around us the two in front and I felt three people behind us. Why where there so many people? The air was icy cold and I tried my hardest not to shiver. One of them shouted something to another but the wind took the words away. I tried to move my head a little without letting the person know that I was conscious. I saw that we were passing the London suburbs and that we were flying north. Again the person to our right changed and I recognized one of the nurses from St Mungos. So the staff was in this scheme? And why was I kidnapped? The wind was cold and soon I couldn't feel my feet and hands anymore. I could hear voices in front of us and soon we were flying lower and lower until we were in front of a manor. They landed in the front yard and I quickly closed my eyes. The person behind me was lifting me over his shoulder as if I was a potato sack. Trying my hardest not to scoff we started to moving. My orientation sense was pretty bad and so I was surprised when I was been thrown on the floor. I knew there would be bad bruises in that area.
"We brought her to you, master." A voice vaguely familiar said to my right.
"Good, good. Please retrieve her so we can talk about business." I didn't know who the voice belonged to but I was vary.
"Enervate." Acting as I was just woken up I blinked slowly. The room was dark and there was a throne in the middle of it. On it sat a person that held itself as a pompous git. He or she may thought it would look impressive and intimidating but for me the person just sat in a big chair. But he probably was in charge here and I couldn't just say my thoughts. Even if I could say something. I slowly sat up and stared at the middle of the room.
"Thank you so much for visiting, my dear Ms Grey! I am very much delighted to see you in good health." As if! You got me kidnapped and let me get thrown on a hard floor. The person must have sensed that I wasn't really happy and laughed a deep, creepy laugh.
"Oh Ms Grey. I will have to find some spell to let you speak to me." I already find on out, you big brat.
"Flint!" A man came out of the shadows. "Take her to her 'room' and let her there until I want to see her." I didn't miss the little grin at the word 'room'. The man nodded and grabbed my arm. I kicked around me and tried to get his shins or something that would hurt. But he just grunted, took my legs and arms in both his giant hands and lifted me in the air. Seeing that I had lost I gave up but I still tried to get everything in. The man brought me through various doors and we went deeper and deeper. There were many corridors going from the one we were on and it was all in stone. The ceiling was very low and the corridor really narrow. From time to time my head would bump into the wall and my carrier would cackle slightly. After what felt like hours there was a little cell and in it he threw me. Again I hit the hard stone floor with my side and to top it, was it the same side I fell on earlier. Wincing I looked up at him and he grinned, locked the door and went away. To say it in the words of my boys:
I was screwed.
