I just want all of you AMAZING readers (who have given me the most AMAZING feedback! THANK YOU!) to know that I do not own anything, that the ages are a little jacked up because of the timeline I have started things at, and that I love you all for clicking the link that lead you to this crazy story. Thank all of you that reviewed and/or favorite-ed and/or followed my story.

Important-ish:

I am working on an outline of the story that has been requested (the one where Nicolette's age changes) and was wondering if I should change the name and create a whole new daughter for Christian... a son would be alright too, but I am female so I know female problems better than male problems and could create a more realistic story that way.

Tell me what you think... PM or review... whichever you are more comfortable with.

Chapter 52: Green

Nicolette grinned as two teenagers rammed into her, both squeezing her in a death hug. Joseph was now seventeen years old and Billy was now fourteen.

"Oh my gosh! You married our brother while we were at camp! Nicolette have you no shame!" Joseph shouted jokingly. Nicolette rolled her eyes.

"You were a camp counselor so it doesn't count for you." Nicolette poked Joseph in the chest, causing him to laugh. After four years of living in Seattle the youngest Hartsville boys had grown... a lot... both were now muscular and at least eight inches taller each.

Joseph was now taller than Nicolette and Billy was her height.

Nicolette shook her head at the boys. Joseph made a face that both Nicolette and Max recognized as his 'we gotta talk' face.

"Billy why don't you go find a room you like." Max ordered, Billy took off towards the wing where the rooms were- having stayed in a guest room when he stayed with Nicolette. Nicolette led Joseph and Max into the kitchen where her father was sitting at the breakfast bar.

"What did you want to talk about J?" Max asked, Joseph shot a glance at Christian.

A glance that Christian didn't miss.

"If it involves security in anyway I am staying." Christian said with a raised brow.

"Security?" Max asked.

"You guys are apart of the Greys now... It's a part of the package." Nicolette said with a shrug.

"And no, you can not weasel your way out of it, believe me I've tried." Nicolette added, Christian snorted remembering how hard Nicolette tried to get rid of security when she moved into Escala.

"Alright Joseph stop stalling, what's on your mind?" Max asked.

"I don't want to live here with you and Nikks. I mean, I love you guys and I'm happy you two are happy and are married and all of that stuff, but I'm seventeen and it is really awkward to be living with my brother and his wife. At least for me it is." Joseph rushed. Nicolette and Max shared a knowing glance towards each other.

"I just lost a bet." Max said, shaking his head, as he did so he pulled a pair of house keys from his pocket.

"What?" Joseph asked, lost. He figured that he'd have to fight for the right to be on his own.

"Max and I discussed this last night. You have never been dependent on either of us, so we thought ahead and decided that if you were to ask then we would let you stay in the old house with a few terms and rules that you would have to follow." Nicolette spoke, Christian sat at the bar with surprise running through his veins.

She didn't really need him after all.

"What are the rules and terms?" Joseph asked.

"No partying, keep security with you at all times, no girls, and follow the law at all times. You will not be allowed to skip classes unless it is a health emergency and you will have to get your classes on time." Max spoke, Joseph nodded.

"That is if, security will be able to be flexible enough to stay there... which is where you come in dad, is it possible?" Nicolette asked. Christian mulled over the idea, a seventeen year old living by himself.

"Yes, it could be done, I'm more concerned if it should be done." Christian answered.

"The house is paid off, it is in a good neighborhood. Joseph would need to find a job to pay for the utilities, but I believe it would be a good way to teach him responsibility." Max answered.

"Max learned that way." Joseph butted in, Christian looked confused for a moment before remembering that their parents had ran out on them.

"Yes... it can be done... I suppose if that is what you have... agreed... upon." Christian glanced at the three young adults. Joseph looked at his brother and sister-in-law with a bright smile.

"Soooo..." Joseph drawled.

"So you can have my old bedroom once you help me get the other stuff out." Max smiled as Joseph fist pumped the air in excitement. Christian smirked as the seventeen year old engulfed his daughter in a hug. The Hartsvilles were defiantly a happy family.

One Month Later...000...000...000

Nicolette, Tara and Lee Anne were hanging out in the kitchen with Gail while Max and the guys were playing pool in the library... or if you asked Uncle Elliot it was the ' new and improved balls room'.

Nicolette didn't want to know why he called it that nor why her mother blushed when he said it.

Max and Billy were fully moved into the penthouse yesterday evening... with Mitchell and Jonathan there to help Max, Billy and Joseph they got it done fast- while the girls sat and supervised.

Now the girls sat at the breakfast bar sipping the last of the sparkling grape juice that Nicolette owned.

"Can you believe that tomorrow all three of us will be twenty-one?" Tara giggled, because it was true tomorrow would be August 9, Nicolette's twenty-first birthday.

"That's right, tomorrow is your birthday Nikk!" Lee Anne gasped.

"Gross, birthday." Nicolette frowned, she hated her birthday she always got loads of attention that she didn't want.

"Don't worry, tomorrow we can all go out, get some liquor and stay here and watch movies, play games and drink." Lee Anne snorted while Nicolette shook her head, Gail giggled quietly, knowing that a certain Christian Grey would be ticked to know that his daughter was going to be drinking without him present to watch over her alcohol consumption levels.

"That sounds like an awesome idea... now if my Aunt Mia could think the same way." Nicolette frowned, knowing that her aunt was planning a not-so-secret something. Tara and Lee Anne laughed.

There was a moment of silence between the girls... then Lee Anne broke it.

"God we're old."

The girls laughed as Gail snorted.

"Then what am I?" Gail asked with a laugh.

"Love able?" Nicolette answered with a shy smile, batting her green eyes. Gail laughed and was still laughing when the elevator pinged, announcing the arrival of someone.

A woman with brown hair cut in a pixie style, with wide green eyes and a petite body stood in the hall, the three girls and Gail peeked around the corner while security made their way over quickly.

Nicolette wasn't worried about the strange woman in her house... no what she was caught up on was the fact that the woman's eyes were the same awkward shade of bright green that her's were.
