I just want all of you AMAZING readers (who have given me the most AMAZING feedback! THANK YOU!) to know that I do not own anything, that the ages are a little jacked up because of the timeline I have started things at, and that I love you all for clicking the link that lead you to this crazy story. Thank all of you that reviewed and/or favorite-ed and/or followed my story.

Important-ish:

Remember at the beginning of the story... With Elena...?

Sorry about the extremely late update we moved bases and then I got another concussion... Does anyone know of anyone that has gotten a concussion from running into a car door? Because I feel like the only person in the freaking world that has run into a car door (the big metal door of a U Haul truck) and ended up with a concussion.

And - again- I am a seventeen year old girl who moves way to often to actually get a job, so I have never been a farmer and am probably making half the stuff in this chapter up.

Chapter 54: Don't You Threaten The Farmer's Wife

Christian shook his head, it had been three hours since Elena Lincoln had left And now he had tons to think about:

Would Nicolette get hurt in the crossfire?

Can this be stopped?

Should I separate them?

What can be done?

Christian's phone rang... Welch.

"You better be fucking calling me to tell me how they got the fuck into my daughter's place." Christian hissed, putting the phone on speaker.

"Yes sir, it seems like the culprit got into one of our security files somehow."

"I don't need 'somehow' Welch. I need names and details for fucks sake."

'Boss, I did some digging and evidently Coniah is a Mr. Devin Kors, sir. He taught alongside Mr. Hartsville until a year and two months ago when Hartsville caught him whipping and having intercourse with a student- Hartsville then reported him and Kors got fired with no recommendations." Welch filled in, Christian sighed.

"Change the damned codes and put a hand print scanner in the elevator. If the fucking concierge and Escala's reps throw a damn fit then tell them that the scanner and codes wouldn't have to be dealt with on our part if they did their fucking job." Christian hissed, he barely waited for the 'yes boss' to hang up on Welch.

Christian let out a long sigh, and looked up to see Max Hartsville standing at the door.

"I know what he said sir. I know Kors, and he is now after my brothers and my wife- your daughter. I know that you want to get involved, sir, but please let me settle this. I'm going to do it the way I was raised to do it." Max whispered, Christian frowned. But made no move to say no to Max.

With Max, Jonathan and Mitchell

Max had, had enough of Kors. The bastard was evil, first the girl in his office, then the threats that were shouted down the hall, and now the man had the gall to threaten Joseph, Billy and Nicolette.

But both Jonathan and Mitchell knew that Kors was about to learn a very important lesson.

No matter the terms, never ever threaten the farmer's wife.

The kids may be important to the farmer, but everyone in Haven feels the same way about the wife of a farmer- that she was the center of the household. The farmer would wake up at dawn and work until dusk to provide for their family that they held so dear to their heart; but, it was the farmer's wife who cooked each meal, who kissed each boo-boo (imaginary or not), who told each bedtime story, who rubbed the tired farmer's feet, who took care of both children and farmer.

That made the farmer's wife the most important person in the household.

And Max would be damned if someone hurt his little wife.

So there the trio was, in a hole-in-the-wall cafe in the outskirts of Seattle with rain dribbling down the windows. Once in the cafe the trio instantly spotted Kors in the back, waiting for them.

Max strode over to the man and sat in the seat directly in front of him, Jonathan on his left and Mitchell on his right.

"Kors. I know that you gave both Elena and Nicolette's mother the password to Escala. I also know that you have threatened my family. Don't try to deny either." Max paused and continued when Kors opened his mouth. "I have evidence that proves both. But you should know what happened to the last man that threatened the wife and family of a farmer." Max glared at the man, his voice cool and forbidding.

"And what's that?" Kors asked, swallowing his fear of the man in front of him. While Max was broad, strong and tall- two of those are from working in the fields, no doubt- Devin Kors was small, thin and narrow. He looked the part for the stereotypical office nerd, complete with the glasses- obviously not in his club though. He may be able to dominate girls with his whips and canes, but these three farm boys had probably seen and done worse than he had to protect their girls and family.

"They never saw him again. That's for sure." Max smirked.

"What makes you think that you are even intimidating me?" Kors asked, trying to gain his courage.

"You may be notorious for somethings Kors, but no man can scare me when they are threatening my family. My family is much more important to me than a pathetic man hiding behind his threats." Max jutted his chin in the air. "Besides, if you were going to do something Kors. You would have been smarter and not made the threats and just done it."

"Are you here to threaten me, Maxwell?" Kors raised his glass to his mouth to try to hide his feelings.

"No, I'm here to promise to you that if you come anywhere near my family, you will not come out on top. Because you never mess with the farmer's family, got that." Max demanded.

Kors nodded, there was no way that he could stand up to Maxwell Hartsville... Much less Maxwell Hartsville plus the two very large men that sat on either side Maxwell.

"I got it."

"Good. Have a nice night." Max hissed.

...000... Yet Another Time Jump... Sorry, Want To Get Through The Boring Stuff... December 20th..

Nicolette and Max had been swindled into a Christmas wedding by Mia, Kate, Grace and Lee Anne. It seemed that only Tara understood fully about what memory the day held. Although Lee Anne's argument was that it would connect Nicolette to her mother and father in a different sort of way.

But in the end it would be a Christmas-ish wedding held on December 27th instead. Her adoptive mother's birthday.

The ceremony was going to be held underneath the weeping magnolia tree that Nicolette's mother and father planted the tree the day that Nicolette was born, and the tree still stood strong and tall as ever. Everything except the dress had been planned by Kate, Mia, Grace, Lee Anne and Tara; mostly because Nicolette had been busy recording her first solo album and had a mixture of 'too busy' and 'don't really care' flowing through her blood.

Nicolette had, however, been drug out of her recording studio and to nearly seven dress stores to find the dress that everyone- mostly her- had loved. Again Nicolette was wearing blue heels with her dress.

The entire Grey family, Hartsvilles, along with the crew from Haven (who decided that they liked Seattle more than Haven and chose to stay with their friends), were gathered at Escala to get ready to leave when Lee Anne pulled out her video camera and smirked.

"Does anybody have anything against being filmed and it being put on the air? I filter out all the boring, stupid and inappropriate stuff, and you can see it before I put it on the web." Lee Anne asked, Christian frowned but Carrick beat him to it.

"Web?"

"I do a show on Youtube, Walking Among. Basically it started out with me putting a bunch of random clips of the things we did in Haven, and then I started to make a show out of it. It is just a comedy, I will send you the final bit, but I don't put anything bad on the air. I'll show you some of the videos on the plane, I have them saved on a flash drive."

Ana answered for them and the younger kids as everyone echoed her response.

"Yeah, it's fine."

"Perfect." Lee Anne hit record and grinned at Nicolette, "Nicolette what is happening right now?" Lee Anne asked, Nicolette laughed and reached out to push her friend away.

"You are shoving a camera in my face... again."

"Niiiicolette..."

"Fine! Geez, we are getting ready to leave to get me married... again." Nicolette snorted.

"Yeah what's up with that?" Max asked pressing a kiss to Nicolette's lips.

"What's up with that? You- my jerk brother- took off and married her while Billy and I weren't even home. That's what's up." Joseph snorted, Nicolette laughed again.

"Oh get over it and get in the car."

"Yes mother."

"I'm your sister!"

Christian watched with humor in his eyes as all of the people from Haven looked so natural and at ease in front of the camera. Instantly knowing that Lee Anne must pick up the camera a lot.

He watched as Lee Anne faced the camera towards her and began speaking.

"And as usual we are going to film it all, so be ready, because everyone knows that us plus planes equals hella funny." Lee Anne winked at the camera before facing the camera at her friends again.

Once everyone was loaded up into three different SUVs, the twenty somethings in one; Christian and Ana with the kids and other Greys, and the rest of the security team in the last.

Nearly twenty people would be on the plane to Haven.

Taylor was driving the SUVs with the twenty somethings and had Sawyer riding shot gun. The camera was pointed on Nicolette and Max and they were being asked question after question when Tara shouted, "Ohmigod! Turn it up!" all of a sudden.

Sawyer looked confused but turned the radio up nonetheless, only to hear Nicolette's voice fill the car.

"Oh my god- I'm on the radio!" Nicolette shouted in glee. Everyone in the car was freaking out and Taylor and Sawyer were a little more in control of their happiness, but both were smiling ear to ear.

Nicolette was texting her mother and father to hurry up and turn the radio on 104.5, along with telling Ryan, Waters and Clayton to do so in the last SUV.

Phones were ringing, and everyone was going on and on about it while Lee Anne was cheering and rolling the camera.

"I'm on the radio!"

Nicolette and Max then kissed before she and Tara hugged awkwardly over the top of the seat, and Mitchell and Jonathan kissed her on the cheek.

"I'm on the radio."
