Here comes the next of the chapters to the ongoing travels and targeting antics of Freddy Krueger that are shown in this story! In this one, Freddy is going to go after two of the darker and more aggressive heroines in the Mortal Kombat universe. Nitara(who recently joined up with the heroes following a discovery that she was needed by them despite having gotten back to her homeland previously)and Frost(who just as recently righted all of her past wrongs and reunited with the heroes she was once part of and would now remain part of forever), to be exact. With the way that Freddy was unable to deal the fatal blow to Elsa when he invaded her dream in the "Frozen" universe, you can imagine just how starving he is for not just a kill, but specifically a kill of the female gender, by this point. After all, he loves torturing and/or killing all of his targets, but the lady ones in particular. So now, not only in the mood to finally make another kill, but also glad to see that one of his targets will be a vampire, and thus a Halloween-associated sort of individual, which he also is(he and Nitara are very different, but still)and that the other will be a woman with ice powers and a blue outfit to go with them(Frost and Elsa have a lot that sets them apart, but also a lot in common, conversely), which can easily fill the niche he previously meant for Elsa, Freddy is wasting no time in making his way into the dreams of the two heroic femme fatales of the Mortal Kombat universe. Will either of them survive? Will both of them survive? Will either of them die? Will both of them die? And what of their fellow MK heroes, hmmm? Will any of them join the girls in their fight for survival against Frederick Charles Krueger? Know exactly how things will go down and thus what the answers to all of those questions are when you read this chapter!

I do not count anything MK related after Mortal Kombat: Deception. For a number of reasons. And, since the chapter that you are about to read takes place a year after the events of MKD, it is therefore a post-series kind of story.

Freddy Krueger's Otherworldly Trips

Chapter 29-Cold Blood Frostbite

After so long of being imperiled and filled with evil threats, the Mortal Kombat realms and the universe that contained them were finally knowing a bright, favorable future. See, here's the thing. Despite how all of the villains had joined forces, whatever differences they otherwise had, to ensure conquest and victory in the end, there was one thing they didn't count on.

And that was the fact that, due to how, in the process of their joining forces, they once more ripped the sultry and seductive vampiress anti-heroine Nitara from her homeland and of course separated her from her people, not unlike what had happened to her thanks to the wicked deeds of Shao Khan a while back. So it should come as no surprise that Nitara, once found by the Mortal Kombat heroes who meant to, well, combat the villainous forces and as such had also all teamed up regardless of differences, was only too willing to accompany them in their mission to put a stop to the forces of evil.

What's more, part of the heroes of this universe banding together like the villains had, it just so happened, was the femme fatale of an ice ninja who went by the name of Frost. You see, by freak chance, the previously ice encased Frost had been freed by an earthquake occurring near the area that she was left after Sub-Zero brought her frozen body there.

Said earthquake was just strong enough so that, where it happened, the place she'd been put in wasn't destroyed, but the ice that she was trapped in was, making it so that she could see, move, think, breathe, function, hear, smell, feel, what have you fully once again. And, able to see after recalling how she was frozen and why it happened what excessive vanity and avarice had in fact gotten her, along with how she was able to see how wrong it was, she decided to atone for her wrongs.

So she went on a quest to do so, pulling it off in the end through a long series of events, deeds, happenstances, etc, and although it was no mean feat, she managed to end her atonement agenda in success, and during the time it happened, all of the heroes of the MK universe, Sonya and Sub-Zero included, learned of this and found out that Frost was sincere in her attempts and wasn't hiding anything this time.

Just after Frost completed her crusade for redemption, she was found by the MK heroes, Sub-Zero, Sonya or otherwise, and offered a place in their ranks via rejoining. Frost accepted the offer, and this, unsurprisingly, was all before the villains of the MK universe joined forces like they did, and thus before what led to the MK heroes joining forces with other MK heroes who up until that point weren't part of their particular group despite being heroes like they were.

And so, when Nitara was found, by chance, mind you, but still happened across, by the MK heroes like she was mentioned as being, both she and Frost and every other hero in the MK universe was taking on every single villain of that universe, and in the end, the battle between the heroes and villains, however long, big and intense it was(and it was very much all of those things to the extreme, by the way, along with just as bloody), ended with the heroes victorious.

Indeed, their combined forces had proven just enough to bring down and destroy the just as combined forces of the villains. Naturally, a celebration followed, especially since the future was now saved and every hero had taken out the villain he or she had the most to hate for and/or feel a rivalry towards and vice versa(e.g. Liu Kang destroyed Shang Tsung after a long fight). It should also be noted that, for obvious reasons, everyone who was good but not one of the heroes like the heroic warriors were also felt cause to celebrate.

As good as all of this was, however, and as glamorous as the future most definitely had become for everyone who wasn't now dead in this universe, all you've just read of was prior to the time of night in which the main part of this chapter begins. Because, after the celebration was over and all of the heroes felt like a well deserved, nice, long sleep, not only were Nitara and Frost the last ones to get into bed and pass out, but unlike all of the other sleeping heroes, they would, little did they know, encounter an evil threat never before seen by either of them or, for that matter, anyone in their universe, and one which was, in a lot of ways, even worse than the evil threats they'd helped the other heroes forever vanquish recently, which was saying a lot.

Just after Nitara and Frost were asleep, both heroines found themselves not lying in their beds, but rather, standing in some kind of dark, creepy, chilly graveyard. Nitara said: "Frost, why the hell are we in a fucking cemetery, of all places?" Frost replied: "Sorry, Nitara, but your guess is as good as mine! I thought we were in our fucking beds just a second ago!" "We were!" Nitara stated. "Yet we fall asleep and end up here?"

"Doesn't make any fucking sense for shit to me, either, Nitara!" Frost agreed. Suddenly, they saw five tall, long ghosts rise up from the cemetery's gravestones, one from behind each of said tombstones, and each one, from left to right, chanted an individual line of what was rhymed to Frost and Nitara. The first one said: "One, Two, Freddy's Coming For You!" The second one said: "Three, Four, Better Lock Your Door!" The third one said: "Five, Six, Grab A Crucifix!" The fourth one said: "Seven, Eight, Better Lock Your Gate!" Finally, the fifth one said: "Nine, Ten, Never Sleep Again!"

Frost and Nitara looked to each other, with the latter going: "Okay, now I'm bewildered! Who the fuck is Freddy, first of all?" "And second off, why the hell is he coming for us?" Frost added. No sooner had they asked each other these questions, though, than did they see Freddy, as if on cue, arrive in the part of the graveyard that they were in. He was wearing his signature, best known look, and he said: "I can easily answer both of those fucking questions, bitches!"

Nitara and Frost opened their eyes most widely, and Freddy would then state: "It's me who's Freddy! Freddy Krueger is my name, and killing sleeping victims in nightmares I create is my game! And the latter part of what I just fucking said should answer why the hell I intend to come for you cunts!" "Okay, all doubt that we're in danger has been fucking removed!" Nitara a second later told Frost. "Hey, I knew that even before you told me just now!" Frost responded.

Freddy would then go: "And it's about to go from dangerous to deadly for the two of you, I'd like to fucking point the fuck out!" It was now that he attacked them, and vice versa. Here, I'll give a full and exact description of how said onslaught occurred both from Freddy and his two targets. First, Freddy made the first of moves by means of making multiple tombstones all of a sudden break off and fly at Frost and Nitara.

Although the two heroines were able to dodge some of them, others hit and battered them badly. The latter group of gravestones caused both Nitara and Frost to go: "UUUUUNNNNNH! OOOOWWWWW! NNNNGGGHHH! ARRRRRRHHHHH! UUUUUUHHHHHLLFF! OOOOOOOOOOOFFFF! UNNNNNNNNNFFF!" Freddy would say while he made this shit fucking happen: "My, my, my, such grave-ass fucking events these fucking are for the two'a you bitches, indeed, I've goddamn gotta fucking say!"

Then Freddy uttered: "As a motherfucking matter of fact, you slutty-ass whores look as if you're about to get in a state of being totally STONE dead! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!" But Nitara and Frost then struck back at their tormentor. First, Frost performed her ground freeze move directly at Freddy, freezing him solid on the spot. After he was frozen, Nitara did her blood spit move first on the ground and then in the air. Both times, her shot met its mark.

"YAAAAAARRRRHHHH! UUUUUUHHHHHHH!" Freddy let loose, and Frost an instant thereafter, seeing that Freddy was off balance and perfectly open for her to attack him, all too swiftly ran directly at him and did her frosty slide move. Freddy was knocked over on the spot and shouted aloud: "UNNNNNNNNHHHHHH!" Frost then stood up again and said to him: "Ha, ha! How do you like it, asshole? A little taste of your own medicine, motherfucker!" A second later, Nitara added while dashing over: "Not so cocky now, are you, you bastard piece of shit son of a bitch?"

Then, just as Freddy stood up once more, Nitara did her unicorn kick move on him. This resulted in Freddy once more being knocked down and also going: "OOOOOOOOOOOOF!" as it happened. However, he wasn't finished yet, as evidenced by how he suddenly teleported the fuck away, much to Nitara and Frost's startled surprise, and then reappeared behind them, going out as he did so: "My, you floozies are feisty! But it'll take more than that to put me down!" He a second thereafter slashed Frost across the back with his well known claw glove.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIEEEEEE!" Frost shrieked as blood flew out of her fresh new wounds and she fell to her hands and knees. Nitara turned around to see Freddy just in time for him to do a vertical slash up her frontal torso(as opposed to the horizontal slash he'd just a moment ago done on Frost's back)and blood sprayed from the newly made cuts on that region of Nitara. "E-RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Nitara yelled. Freddy then let on out: "A whole hell of a lot more, as a motherfucking matter of fact! And frankly, whatever the hell you've goddamn got, it just plain isn't going to cut it for shit! Unlike my glove swipes! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Must make you feel so spineless and gutless, along with how it increases the bad blood between the two of us! Maybe this is a sign that you need to cut it out? Like, now?"

But neither Nitara nor Frost would give up or give in, and Frost took out her ice daggers at the same time that Nitara took out her twin kama. Frost then spat: "Up yours, asshole!" After that, Nitara put across: "Fuck you, motherfucker!" Following this, both of them yelled together: "This fucking shit ends now and so do you!" Subsequently, they somersaulted over to Freddy in addition to landing a power kick on opposite sides of his head. Additionally, once they had both landed, they unloaded shitloads of punches, kicks, elbows, knees and, in the cases of their respective pairs of cutting weapons, just as many slashes, hacks and stabs, into one area of their adversary's body or another.

"AAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHCCCCKKKKKKKKKK!" Freddy bellowed as it happened, and for a time, it seemed as if Frost and Nitara's combined efforts would prove to be enough to bring Freddy down and take him out. Unfortunately, looks can be deceiving, and just at the moment when Nitara and Frost least expected it, Freddy performed one hell of a funky-ass counterattack. To be precise, he simultaneously used his glove blades to slash Nitara across both of her sides and also damage her wings with partial cutting in the process, eliciting a crying out of: "GYAAAAAARRRRRHHHHH!" from her, and made a tall, heavy gravestone fall down at Frost, who noticed it just in time to try and dive out of the way.

She partially succeeded. Along she avoided it enough so that she wasn't crushed to death, it did land on both of her legs, breaking them in the process. Frost shrieked out in the sudden and excruciating pain she felt: "EYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGHH!" Freddy then cackled: "Thought you fucking had me, didn't you, warrior whores? Well, slatterns, think again! You just got sidetracked from a sudden feeling of leglessness! Talk about one hell of a crushing defeat for you tarts!"

Freddy also made the giant stone cross with pointed ends(except for the bottom one, most obviously)break off of the gravestone pinning Frost's legs down along with having broken them, a second before making it fly around in a U-turn type fashion so that it was then sailing directly at Nitara's back. Frost realized at once what Freddy's intents were and shouted out: "NITARA! LOOK OUT!" Unfortunately, her warning proved to be in vain, as Nitara, due to how much the wounds in her sides along with her older wounds were now getting to her(thanks to how she had to deal with more than just what she had before and could barely ignore while fighting her dream demon foe along with Frost and thus the pain, damage and blood loss caught up to her in spite of how she was able to endure it and fight on before), wasn't able to react in time despite how she heard what Frost called to her only too clearly.

Which means that the cross of stone impaled her from behind with its pointed top and it went right between her shoulder blades and through her heart, its top end covered in blood. Not surprisingly, Nitara fell down and was mortally wounded. "NITARA! NO!" Frost yelled, but Freddy turned around and told Frost: "Actually, yes, Nitara is goddamn done for." Then he turned his trademark glove into a giant ice pick and told Frost as he raised his arm into the air and said ice pick gleamed despite how dark it was: "And you're next, Frost! Got a nice, big ice pick here with your fucking name right on it, bitch! I was so cross with Nitara when I pointed out to her that she was a goner, and then I backed up that fucking claim! Now it's time for me to full damn well show your ass just how picky I can be when it comes to icing the likes of you!"

But before Freddy got to finish Frost off, Frost turned out somewhat luckier than Nitara had. For she woke up just in time so that Freddy wouldn't get the chance to kill her with the big ice pick he'd made out of his glove. Frost took a moment to realize she was now awake, but she was able to tell that both by how she was no longer in that graveyard and by how her fellow MK heroes were currently surrounding her. It became quite clear that they'd been awoken by how she and Nitara were no doubt thrashing about in bed during their nightmare, and this lot had tried to wake them both any which way that they could once they realized both where all the noise was coming from and what had been going on.

Frost then said: "Everyone, thank you for waking me up, and you did so just in time, but what of Nitara? She was killed in the nightmare we were having!" "Holy shit!" exclaimed Kung Lao. "Then, since you, Frost, are hurt bad in a lot of places, especially your legs, and since the injuries we saw in Nitara appeared fatal, that means that, whatever happened here, Nitara has, in fact, been killed!" "WHAT?!" Frost exclaimed. She looked at her legs and the rest of her body, at once realizing she did indeed have all of the wounds and injuries that Freddy had inflicted on her in that dream, and she also looked at Nitara's corpse, which sported all of the damage which Freddy had done to it during the nightmare they both fought him in.

"Fuck! You're right, Kung Lao! Nitara's dead!" Frost gasped. "I need to tell you all just what happened from when me and Nitara fell asleep to the fucking point we're at now, and I also need treatment for my injuries, especially my broken legs! I think that I've only motherfucking managed to ignore how much excruciating-ass fucking pain I'm in enough to tell you what I have and discover what I have because of how much is at stake and how motherfucking much of a new-ass fucking problem we suddenly fucking have on our fucking hands!"

"I think you're most correct on all counts, Frost!" Sub-Zero told her. "And, as horrified and aghast as we all are at Nitara's death, and as much as I wish as much of the rest of us that it was an option to mourn it and make a memorial of a ceremony for her, the problem is that there isn't any time for that sort of thing right now!" Raiden then put in: "So everyone get to work in one form or another! We have information from Frost about what happened and what it means to hear out, considerable injuries of that same Frost to treat and planning for how we will combat this so that there can be as little chance of something like this happening again as possible!"

"You heard him! And that's the short form of making it clear what we now are required and obligated to do, so let's not waste any fucking time for shit!" added Fujin. From there, both the treatment of Frost's injuries and the finding out of everything that needed to be known from the aforementioned Frost would be done, but with the exception of how we observe the way that Scorpion said: "Whoever the hell did this is goddamn going to fucking pay big time, in full and in the worst fucking way. I'm destroying him at least as horribly as I destroyed Quan Chi if I get the fucking chance!" we're going to observe more of all of that another time.

For the time being, though, we observe how Freddy was now returning to his original and throne containing dreamland possessing universe, walking into that boiler room place of his and a second later saying. "Well, this was a whole hell of a lot more favorable than when I tried to kill Elsa and, before that, Tigress followed by Tai Lung and Crane. I'll admit that motherfucking much. After all, I finally got me another bitch to add to my fucking collection of kills, and I think this was my first fucking vampire kill, too! What a great-ass fucking addition, indeed! But it still isn't fully what I wanted it to be, the way that I wanted Frost dead, too, and ironically nearly had her as part of my fucking collection of kills along with Nitara."

Freddy let out a sigh and said: "Well, at least I got Nitara and came real damn close to also getting Frost. Such a fact as that and the one that my for a time partially empty niche is now more filled than it was before notwithstanding, though, I'm still all too perfectly psyched for the next of nightmares I fucking perform. Wonder if it'll be a whole new universe I visit or a new victim, but one in a universe I've already taken a trip to? Only one way to know…" So he went a ways on over to where his orb lay, picked it up and said: "I'm back again, orb! Now show me the universe I'm on my way to next of all, and which dreamer in it I'm going after, in particular!"

The orb obeyed his order, and when what he wanted to see was shown to him, he said: "I see that I'm now entering the universe of the movie trilogy sporting the title 'The Brave Little Toaster'. And specifically into the dream of the beautiful white mother Persian cat and mascot of Sigma Chi. Well, the three other mascots of that place, namely her trio of tykes, had best get real good and ready to become a trinity of motherless kittens. Because as soon as I arrive in the damn bitch's dream, it'll be a combo of matricide and felicide as I cause her to go from white to red and dead all over! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Putting his orb back down where it was placed when he wasn't using it, Freddy then took a look at the portal which he would go through to get into Maisie's dream. Then he walked right through it. Was Maisie going to survive her unexpected, uninvited, unwanted and unpleasant, all to the max and core, visit from Freddy? Or was Freddy going to make her the second cat, white or otherwise, who he saw to the taking of a permanent catnap of(the first one of them being Marie from the Aristocats universe)? You'll know when you read the chapter that follows the one you just finished, and you did just finish it, by the way.

Was this a good read for you, everybody? Yeah, I know that Nitara has a lot of fans, and, quite ironically enough, I am a Nitara fan myself, but here's the thing. I am also a fan of Frost, and in one of my MK fanfics(REDEMPTION DEFROSTED, to be exact), I have her right her wrongs and save the future by giving her life to stop all of the villains of the MK universe. In this part of this fanfic, though, I make it so that, while she's righted her wrongs and joined the MK heroes, it is not her who dies when it's time for someone's mortal coil to be shed, but rather Nitara, in order to balance things out and keep things unique. As a result, as much as I love Nitara, I saw her dead with Frost surviving, especially since I decided it was high time that Freddy make a kill out of a female opponent for sure after he failed to kill Elsa in the last chapter, and since Frost had already died in the aforementioned REDEMPTION DEFROSTED, plus she's a freezing powered femme fatale like Elsa is, and Elsa survived, too, it seemed like the perfect choice to have Nitara be the one to lose her life to Freddy, albeit not without resisting valiantly and putting up a fight against him first. So now both Frost and all of the other MK heroes have a great deal of problems on their hands, what with knowing that Nitara has been killed and Freddy could, at any time, in any place, in anyone's dream, strike again. How will they counter these problems, and will it be effective enough if they can find a way to do so? More of that later, because now we know that Freddy is going after Maisie from the movie titled "The Brave Little Toaster To The Rescue". Will Maisie's bravery, selflessness, intelligence and assets be enough to help her keep her life when Freddy tries to take it from her? And what about her kittens? Will they or anyone else in the place she and they live as the mascots of be pulled into Maisie's dream as the she-cat fights for her life against the sleep slasher? You know how it is!
