Magic Isn't Fun For Me-
Chapter 2- Threats From a Dog
Author's Note: I gave with the accent, it is too hard to for me to stand the red marks, sorry if you liked the accent. I prefer the fact that I am going to keep this story as a two part story.
I hate this stupid idea, of the boy from almost a month ago sending me letters, saying that Arthur should take the barrier down. I know what his is trying to do, just so he can come in the house and steal me away to Amerika, or something like that.
Ivan has been busy with fixing the garden as we haven't planted in the garden for awhile now, so he has tilled it and planted many different things in the garden such as Sunflowers, standard vegetables and fruits as well. I just hope that he doesn't mind the fact that Gilbert stares at him, as if he shouldn't be here or something like that. I don't think my dad likes the fact that Ivan is here protecting me. They must have some history before I came along into dad's life that changed whatever connects they had to each other.
"Hey, Ivan, that are you planning to do this week since we can't really go anywhere?" I asked.
"Well, Mathias, I plan to play Tetris, and see if you would like to join me in playing." He responded.
"That would be fun for a change since I can't go and visit people like I used to."
When we get to Ivan's guest room he pulled out his Nintendo Game-boy and turns it on. I had never seen a Nintendo product this old before, so it was a surprise to see it. When he loaded the game, it was in black and white (with gray as shading), so it must be one of the original versions of Tetris. When he began to play the pieces began to move and build a structure, every time a line was completed it would disappear. I noted that there were two sets of similar pieces, a set that looked like a "lightning bolt", and another which looked like an "L", both of the sets would turn opposite to their matching counterpart. It was interesting to see how fast the pace began to increase as the levels got longer and the pieces got harder to place, even Ivan, who was a citizen of Russia, had some minor difficulties with the game that was invented in his homeland.
When Ivan made a mistake when he was stacking the pieces, the game ended and it was my turn, he handed me the Game-boy and told me what the controls were and how they worked. I did pretty well after getting to watch Ivan play it. I almost died a few times if I hadn't corrected it in time. When I did die, I had made it to level 4 with a score around 15,000 or so points. I thought that was pretty good for a first try.
"You know that was pretty good for a first attempt, don't you think?" I asked, my light blonde bangs falling in-front of my blue eyes.
"Da, it was."
"Oi, lunch is ready," Arthur yelled for down the stairs.
"I hope he didn't cook." I whispered to Ivan.
"I heard that you twat!" Arthur yelled.
"Sorry!" J replied, once I had walked down two flights of stairs into the kitchen.
Well on a rather good note, Elizabeta was here with Roderich and Peter, so that meant that Arthur was clearly not happy that Elizabeta was visiting, because that meant more work for him, but oh well, the more the merrier. Ivan was eating pirozhki* that left over from last night's dinner. I was eating a bratwurst sandwich, when Arthur got mad at Alfred and attempted to yell at him, but remember that Peter was visiting, and stopped at last minute.
I sighed once lunch was over and got to play badminton with the whole crew. It meant that Arthur, Alfred, Peter, Elizabeta, Roderich, Ivan, Gil, Françoise, and I were play, each round one person would be the score keeper. We divided into groups by rolling a dice, evens on one side and odds on the other. I was on the odds with Ivan, and Elizabeta, we won the first two rounds, then Peter (He's like 13-14 for this to work, okay?) shot the final point of the third game and the odds won.
In the end our team won, I only sighted Anubis outside of the property during the fourth match, but then he disappeared as soon as our eyes made contact. I told Arthur at the end of the last game and he said that "the boy" shouldn't be able to get through no matter how hard he tries. That made me feel much more comfortable, it was rather interesting to watch Elizabeta, Peter, and Roderich leave after dinner, something about not liking the fact that Gil matured and it doesn't feel right. I wish that Anubis had just stayed out of the way, I'm pretty sure Arthur doubled the security before heading off to bed.

Pirozhki*- Russian dish. (In my opinion they look like pumpkin ravioli, they can be stuffed with various meats/fillings)
Author's Note: Since this story took way too long to think of a proper plot, I will just keep this as a two part story. I'm truly sorry if that annoys some of you, but it's better to get an update instead of none, right?
