"Arr, I be the fastest here lad!"

"I could run circles around you any day!"

"Oh god, they're arguing again." Sammy shook his head. A representative from Aperture Animated had arrived and requested a 'discussion' with Carl. A deal was made: Aperture would pay expenses for Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria on the condition that Aperture's animatronics could be tested there after-hours, which was sort of like a holiday for them. Aperture's latest creation was Lupus the Parkour Wolf.

Lupus had the same endoskeleton as Foxy, and he was grey everywhere, with a lighter grey around his paw pads, belly, and lower jaw. Lupus had yellow eyes, and wore a red hoodie with the Freddie Fazbear logo on the back with the hood down, blue jeans, white trainers and black fingerless gloves.

Ever since he had arrived, he and Foxy had been arguing over who was the fastest. Maybe it was something about them being so similar. Foxy would win in a straight sprint, everyone knew that, but whilst Foxy had to go around obstacles, Lupus could go over or under them.

Suddenly Sammy had an idea. He slithered up to the two animatronics. "Calm down." He put on a slight smile. "Why don't you prove it?"

Soon, everyone had gathered around the course that had been set up. Sammy started to explain.

"Alright you two, here's the course. The start is here, outside Adventure Cove, then you will head down the West Hall, through the Office, up the East Hall on to the Stage to Freddy, from there you go to Blu who is backstage, then back here to me. The race goes for three laps. Max, Mike, Freddy, Blu and I are going to be making sure you don't cheat. Got it?" The fox and the wolf nodded. Everyone headed to their positions.

"Ok, on your marks…" Foxy leaned forward, while Lupus crouched into a sprinter's start. "Get set… GO!"

(I'm imagining the G-Mod version of the Pizzeria for this.)

Lap 1…

Off they went, Foxy quickly getting the lead. But as they ran into the office, Foxy stepped to the side to avoid the chairs while Lupus jumped them both, putting him in first place. As they entered the Main Hall, Foxy had managed to get past Lupus. As Foxy sprinted around the edge of the tables, Lupus used a chair to jump onto the tables and ran along at full speed.

They both reached Freddy at the same time, skidding to a stop before taking off towards the backstage area. They went opposite ways around the table to Blu, with Foxy going right and Lupus going left, close to the door to the generator room. Almost colliding as they exited, Foxy took the lead just as they crossed the line.

Lap 2…

Max and Mike were looking at the cameras, watching the race. "Look out, here they come again."

Foxy was the first through the door, closely followed by Lupus. Mike leaned back and Max ducked as Lupus came sailing over their heads again. This time, his foot clipped the arm of the second chair and he smashed into the ground. Lupus got up immediately and started to run again, a look of utter determination on his snout.

Foxy got up on stage and headed to Blu, risking a peek over his shoulder when he heard the crash. Lupus was now a few steps behind. Foxy smiled to himself and ran past Blu. Lupus changed tactic, sliding under the table to stop in front of Blu before jumping over the table on the way out. Lupus was now in the lead as they tore past Adventure Cove.

Lap 3, Final Lap…

This time as Lupus got into the office, he dove over the chairs, rolling as he hit the floor. This cost him a few seconds however, and Foxy tore past. The fox purposely knocked over a couple of the televisions in the East Hall, but this did nothing as Lupus calmly jumped them.

As he made it to the stage, Foxy stumbled as he caught the edge with his foot, letting Lupus take the lead yet again. It was going to be close. Lupus slid under the table again and Foxy ran around. They smacked into each other, knocking over Blu in the process.

Sammy waited anxiously to see who would come out of the backstage area first. It was Foxy in the lead, then Lupus, then Foxy, and then-

"Oh you have GOT to be kidding me." Sammy groaned.

"Well, who was it, Sammy?"

"Arr, tell him how I won, matey."

"It was… A dead heat…" Sammy just shook his head as the two animatronics arguing once again.

Thank you for sticking with me for the course of this story. I mean, this just started as two guys discussing why they're here… Oh wait, that's RvB. Anyway, I have a couple of things to say. First, I have been trying to come up with a name for the sequel, and I was thinking maybe 'Irreparable' or maybe 'Blood-red, White and Blue' ('Cause, you know, blue and red is purple? Ok I'll just stop now.) If you have any suggestions please let me know. Secondly, the second chapter of 'How to be Human' should be up by now for all those that are interested. And finally, I have started beta reading for a guy that goes by the name 4fireking. The story is called 'The boys from the different sides' or something like that.
