Inuyasha stood up and stumbled. He looked down and realized the whole surface was nothing but bones. His fathers skeleton was in full armor. He looked glorious. He walked over carefully and climbed right inside. His body was huge. The size of a mansion.

All of a sudden there was a high pitched scream and a rush of wind. He whipped around just in time to see Kagome fall from the sky and his brother land softly next to her.

"Kagome!" He screamed and ran to her. She was lying on the bones unconscious. He picked up her head and turned to Sesshomoru.

"How did you get here?" He demanded. The demon didn't bother looking his way. He was walking around their fathers ribcage.

"I followed you. So did she." He glanced over at the young girl.

Inuyasha looked up towards the walls, there were little cliffs all over. He picked Kagome up and leaped into the air onto the closest one. He laid her down ever so gently and hurried to where his brother stood.

"Let's end this. It's one thing to mess with me, but you had no right! You had no right to bring her here!"

"How stupid are you Inuyasha? Your the one who brought her here. When you got sucked into our fathers graveyard, she picked up the jewel you dropped. It glowed a deep red and sucked her in. When I touched it, it was black. You having feelings for a human opened it up to her. You put her in the middle of this."

Inuyasha was silent. Was he sure? How did he know for sure?

"When our father took your filthy human mother here, it glowed red. Your naive feelings for a human is your biggest weakness. Now leave me alone. I am only here to get the Tessaiga and be on my way." He turned away and Inuyasha crouched and prepared to kill.

Sesshomoru whipped around and swiped Inuyashas face with his poison claws. Inuyasha fell back into the bones with a loud clang! He jumped up furious, and leaped at him. They began to wrestle and tumble. When one would claw at the other it would heal just as fast as the blood drew.

Inuyasha paused as he finally drew one of the many swords attached to his brothers hip. He aimed it straight at him and sliced the air quickly. It threw him all the way to the other side of the cave and knocked the wind out of him. Furiously, Sesshomoru whipped the sword around and locked Inuyasha in a box of full, stong wind. The air stung and made him immobile. He looked around and noticed Kagomes black hair moving around on the ledge he left her on.

He didn't want to cause attention so he took the torture and watched her. Sesshomoru was coming closer. As he moved forward the wind began slashing his skin. It felt like a papercut over and over all over his body. The cuts from his sword were not healing as fast as the marks from the poison claws.

Kagome was crawling over to something. He watched as she went past the giant skeleton and put her legs off the edge and began climbing down. He was losing focus as the cuts began to go deeper. She crawled over all the bones and grabbed for something.

Sesshomoru whipped around and stared across the way right at her. He snarled and leaped over to her. Inuyasha struggled to get up, but then followed suit. He gasped. Kagome was holding robes. Made from the cloth of the fire rat, it was heat resistant. His mother had made it for Inuyasha for when he came of age. He forgot about them after all these years.

He looked around behind Kagome. There were all sorts of things. Books, jewels, and there it was. He didn't want to make the first move, he knew his brother had seen the sword too. It was placed in stone about halfway in. There was a second pedestal to the right of that one. That must have held Sesshomorus sword, the Tensaiga.

He watched his brother place his hand on the sword his father gave him. He then rushed forward and grabbed at the sword in the stone. He tugged and tugged but he couldn't remove it.

Kagome turned back to Inuyasha and he snatched those robes away from her. Ripping his regular red robes off and switching them with the nice robes. They were lighter than his normal robes. Kagome was blushing and looking away. He didn't have time for her nonsense. How could she follow me? What I do is none of her business.

"Kagome get out of here. I don't need you around!" Her eyes welled up and she just stood there.

"I said get out of here! You shouldn't be here, this is no place for a... a human!" She began to sniffle, and he pushed her aside.

"Look Sesshomoru, that sword obviously wasn't meant for you since its still in the stone. Move over!" His brother growled and let go. Inuyasha went to the sword and pulled. Nothing. He put one foot on the stone and pulled; nothing.

"What the hell," he mumbled and continued to struggle. His brother started to laugh, which only infuriated him more.

"Inuyasha, maybe you should just-" Kagome started but Sesshomoru turned to her.

"Your still around? You silly human. Why do you care for him? He only keeps you around because you resemble the one he lost so long ago. Did you know she is alive? That he has even been to her since he met you?"

"What? That's not true, Kikyo is dead." Kagome looked from the full demon to the half demon, searching his eyes. Inuyashas face showed nothing but guilt. Kagome backed away, face covered in tears. Sesshomoru sighed and flicked his wrist towards her sending a wave of air to shove her against the wall. She collapsed in a puddle on the ground.

Inuyasha screamed and tried once more to get the sword out. He picked up the stone, and threw it. He looked from his brother to the girl. His claws came out and he could feel the demon blood in him rising. His eyes turned blood red and he felt a burning on his face as the markings of a full demon colored his cheeks.

He ran full force at his brother and began to attack. They both began to battle hand to hand. Inuyasha in demon form was taking control of the battle and was slowly weakening Sesshomoru. He didn't see anything but his opponent. He didn't feel any of the blows Sesshomoru was dealing. Only the rush of demon blood coursing through him.

He shoved him against a wall and put his hand right through his belly. He fell to the ground and he stepped away to breathe. On the demon it was not a fatal blow, but it was damaging.

He felt a strong urge to turn around and then he saw her. Kagome, beautiful Kagome, she was holding the Tessaiga.

He leaped towards her, and tried to grab at it, but there was a strong force stopping him from getting near it.

Kagomes eyes were huge as she stared at the monster Inuyasha had become. Where did the handsome man she was falling for go? She slowly approached Inuyasha and grabbed his hand. He pulled away. She wasn't giving up, Inuyasha was being controlled by his demon blood. He needed to be reminded of his human side. She embraced him and he wrapped his arms around her.

He began to squeeze her tight, too tight. His claws digging into her uniform. She moaned in pain, and began to whisper. "Inuyasha come back. I need you to be a half demon, I like you just the way you are. Please don't leave me." He began to calm down, and looked down at the girl snuggled into his chest. She smelled heavenly, and she was so soft.

He felt his blood cool down. His eyes turned back to the gold they once were, and the markings on his face retracted. His claws retracted and he embraced Kagome. He leaned down and whispered into her ear. "I'm not going anywhere."

She pulled away and pointed at the other side of the room. Sesshomoru had regained his strength and was preparing to pounce. Inuyasha hurried toward the sword and in half demon form was able to pick it up. It was ungodly heavy, but he managed to yeild it.

He pointed it straight at his brother and swung. The air surrounding everything was so powerful, he fell to the floor blood spurting from where his arm had once been.

Kagome gasped and ran to Inuyasha. He pulled her tight and watched as his brother struggled to grab his missing arm.

Inuyasha went to his brother and searched through his pockets. He found the small stone and cleared a small spot on the ground to lay it down. He groaned as he put the sword above his head, and then let it drop splitting it in two. The room around them began to shake and crumble underneath them. Inuyasha grabbed Kagome and they both shut their eyes.

They fell into nothingness, clinging to each other for dear life. They landed with a thud in front of his mothers memorial. Kagome hugged him harder and Inuyasha just lay there letting her scent embrace him. He felt so at peace for just a moment. Kagome on the other hand was unsure of how to feel.
