It wasn't until eleven that Linette started to worry. Will should have been back by now, shouldn't he? Zach had gone out over an hour ago to go find him. She had offered to go with, but he told her to stay and enjoy the party.

She had done her best to do so; though something in the back of her mind kept telling her that something had gone horribly wrong.

Elizabeth rushed up to her, "Something is wrong I can feel it, they should have been back by now. Let's find the others."

Linette absently nodded and followed the other shadowhunter.

Elizabeth had already gathered the others when Bridget walked up to her, "Miss, a gift has just arrived for you."

She looked at the small wooden box in wonder, on top was a letter with her name on it.

"My Precious Daughter,

Happy Christmas, but your time is almost up."

Linette froze in her place, completely consumed by fear. She looked up to lock eyes with Elizabeth then quickly back to the letter. She was frozen with fear.

"Come to me now or your precious Nephilim will never again see the light of day. The clock is ticking my daughter, you have until midnight to find me. I shall be waiting."

She then opened the box, and let out shreak of terror. Inside the box was Will's jade pendent.

Linette felt weak, Alec caught her just before she collapsed to the ground. Clary then picked up the note. Her eyes grew wide with horror as she clung to Jace.

"I'll send a fire message to Magnus to see if he can locate the boys."

"THERE'S NO TIME ALEC! They could be dead by then!" Jace shouted.

Linette was trying to think of what to do when it hit her. She remembers being back on the bridge when Will gave her the necklace, what he said. 'You'll always have a piece of me when you wear this.'

"THAT'S IT! Elizabeth, Will put a piece of his soul in the pendant. Can you feel where he is?"

She gave a weak nod, "I'll try."

She took the jade pendant and closed her eyes. It seemed like a lifetime had passed before she said two words, "Fairy Court."

"Clary portal!"

A portal was drawn and off they were to the fairy court. As they all tumbled through the portal they saw Will and Zach badly beaten and chained to the floor. There was a demonic screech of laughter then everything went black.

When Linette came to she noticed Will and Zach were only feet in front of her. "Will-"

She tried to moved towards him, but she was stuck. It came to her realization that she was living her nightmare. She looked around and saw the others in the same predicament, on their knees, arms behind their backs and chained to the floor. The only difference is her chain was made of adamas, which prevented her from using magic.

She heard a groan next to her. Jem and Alec were coming out of their haze, "What in the Angel's name happened?"

A laugh rang out again. "Good now that everyone is awake we can begin. Now, my darling daughter, since you arrived before your deadline your friends shall live. Whether or not they'll want to after I am done with them is the true question."

Clary screamed in rage and pulled against her restraints. "You bitch! Let our sons go!"

"And why would I do that my dear? You see, killed my son, so it's only fair if I get to kill yours."

Alec then spoke up, "Lilith, please, let the children go."

The demon showed a smile so sinister the devil would fear it. "I have something for you. Your children have probably always wanted to meet their grandfather." A figure appeared from the shadows, Asmodeus.

"I'm awfully bored, could we just get this over with?"

Lilith smiled and took out two syringes, filled one with her black blood and one with the other demon's. She them walked over and plunged the needle into Will's neck.

He groaned in pain, eyes fluttering.

"This is a bit of a déjà vu moment isn't Mr. Carstairs? Except now you get to watch."

"Lilith please, please don't don't do this."

Hearing Jem beg made Linette furious. She took a deep breath trying to control the anger, but then she stopped. If she was going to save Will and Zach she needed to get angry.

And that's exactly what she did.
