Kacey's pov
I tried to run back to my room but mum closed the front door and Barry grabbed me and took me struggling into the living room!
"BARRY GET OFF!"
"GET IN THERE!"
He shoved me onto the couch and mum held me there!
Barry's pov
That little brat had just yelled at me and mum, so now was time to make her pay, I dragged her into the living room though she puts up quite a fight. I got her onto the couch and mum helped by holding her down.
"THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR BEING A LITTLE BRAT!"
I slapped her hard across the face and she screamed!
"Shut up you stupid, bratty little girl!"
Dyn must have heard Kacey scream as she ran into the room.
Dyn's pov
I heard Kacey scream so i ran to see what was wrong. I ran into the living room where i saw Kacey pinned to the couch by mum and Barry standing over her.
"Barry! What have you done to her?"
"She's a stupid little brat and she needs to learn a lesson!"
"Let her go mum!"
"Fine, Barry'll get her later!"
She let go of Kace who got up and ran to me sobbing.
"What's he done to you?"
"He hit me!"
"Right, go upstairs and i'll be up in a minute!"
She went up to her room while i had a go at Barry:
"She's just a kid Barry! Just leave her alone!"
"Will you stop sticking up for her?"
"No! She needs someone being nice to her so i'm all she's got!"
I went upstairs and could hear Kacey crying in her room so i went in and sat next to her on her bed, she hugged me and sobbed.
"Let me see your face where he hit you."
She sat up and showed me her cheek was bright red!
"Awww Kace, that's gonna bruise but at least Barry wouldn't do any worse to his little sister...sorry i mean little brother!
"Wouldn't he?"
"Course not, he might be mean but Barry isn't capable of more to his own family!"
"You sure? I didn't think he'd do this but he did it so what's stopping him doing worse?"
"You know what Barry's like he loses it but would never do any real harm!"
"Why are you sticking up for him? Can't you see what he's done?"
I knew why she was so scared to trust anyone, she'd been terrifies by her own brother. So i just left her alone until the next morning going to school.
