Ch.7

Seven months later in the digital world...

Jade yawned as her, Sousuke and Ginta traveled with Viximon and Kitmon to try and find the others after they had split up to try and find Tai and Agumon, Ginta then noticed it was getting dark and said "We should find Shelter for the night..."

Jade and Sousuke nodded as they kept an eye out for a possible shelter, Aizen then spotted a small abandoned den under a tree that looked to be big enough for the three of them. He pointed it out and they made their way over as they crawled into the abandoned den, Jade was asleep within minutes of lying down and Ginta looked over at Sousuke who sighed and said "I'll take the first watch so you can get some sleep."

Ginta smiled and nodded as he lay down next to his twin and drifted to sleep, Sousuke watched the twins for a few minutes then smiled sadly as he tried to think about how he could help them get away from their relatives. He spent the next six hours meditating then woke Ginta for his turn to keep a look out for Digimon that would harm them. Ginta nodded and Sousuke shifted to his dragon form at the size of a beagle, he then wormed his way under Jade's head and yawned as he fell asleep with Jade using him as a Pillow. It was about four hours later when Ginta woke them up and said "It's time to get going, guys."

Sousuke and Jade nodded as they followed him out of the small den and made their way through the forest towards a theme park they could see over top the trees. It was Sousuke who stopped and shifted to Anthro form as his feathered ears twitched rapidly, Jade asked what he heard and Sousuke grinned as he said "I hear Tokomon, Agumon and Tai!"

He then led the twins and their Digimon to a nearby clearing where they found the three and Tai looked relieved to see them, Jade quickly threw a hug at Tai and said "It's good to see you!"

Tai smiled and they started walking towards the theme park where TK was supposedly, Jade smiled happily as she held her twin's hand while humming a soft song that she had overheard at one point. They soon saw TK and Jade cheered and ran over to give the slightly older boy a hug, TK smiled and returned the hug when Demidevimon suddenly showed up. Jade took one look and squealed softly as she grabbed the small rookie and gave it a hug while saying "AWWWWW, you're so cute!"

Demidevimon was taken by surprise and didn't know how to respond to that while Viximon laughed in amusement, Kitmon grinned and said "Cool, most of the other virus types are afraid of me and My Twin for some reason so I never really get to interact with others with my attribute type!"

Demidevimon blinked at that while Jade smiled and set him down in front of Kitmon then said "TK...Can we go on the rides? I've never been to a theme park before!"

TK smiled and said "Sure! If Tai doesn't mind, that is."

Tai chuckled and told them he didn't mind so the four 8 year olds ran off into the park to go on the rides, Demidevimon then followed them with the other Digimon and watched as Jade laughed and smiled like a normal child while riding the rides...

Two hours later...

Jade was starting to get hungry and the four children headed back to Tai to see if they could scrounge up something for eating, Demidevimon then saw his chance and quickly found some Mushrooms of Forgetfulness. Jade smiled at him as he brought the mushrooms back to them and Jade quickly began to cook them with a little BBQ they had found, they were just about to eat them when Agumon appeared and told them what the mushrooms were. Tai and the others quickly put the mushrooms down then turned and looked at Demidevimon with anger or in Jade's case, sadness. Just then Tokomon Digivolved into Patamon and began to fight with Demidevimon, Patamon had trouble at first then quickly sent the other Rookie packing.

Jade then quickly slipped away without anyone noticing except Viximon, Jade followed the Demidevimon and hid quickly as she listened to the conversation. Jade couldn't help but think that Demidevimon's boss's voice sounded familiar for some reason, then once the two were gone...she hurried back to the others and told them what she had overheard. Tai and the others tried to figure out what they meant by the crests glowing then Sousuke noticed it was getting dark and suggested they get some sleep, the others nodded and they all found a place to sleep inside a funhouse. Jade sighed as she laid awake looking at her crest, She then thought back to what she had overheard and sighed as she softly said "TK's crest is the crest of Hope...and Tai's is the crest of Courage but what are the others especially mine?"

She jumped when she heard Sousuke's voice next to her as he softly said "Something tells me we'll find out soon about our crests..."

"I thought you were asleep, Sousuke?"

Sousuke shook his head and said "can't sleep..."

"You guys too?"

Sousuke and Jade turned their heads in surprise to see Ginta sitting up while Tai, TK and the Digimon slumbered on, Jade smiled at her brother who scooted over to hug her and they softly talked until Sousuke noticed Jade was fast asleep on her brother's shoulder and Ginta was ready to sleep as well. Sousuke got them to lie down then went to sleep himself...

Two days later...

Jade blinked as they arrived at a diner where Matt came storming out, TK cheered at seeing his brother and hugged him tight. Matt returned the hug when he then heard Joe crash to the floor and growled angrily before lashing out at Tai who tried to calm Matt down. Suddenly Vegiemon appeared and grabbed TK in his Vines while Demidevimon showed up with Digitamamon, Joe then managed to get TK out of Vegiemon's grasp but he was then caught instead of TK. Meanwhile Garurumon and Ikkakumon were trying their best to defeat Digitamamon but his Shell was far too tough for them to do any damage, Matt was shocked then realized something which caused his crest to glow and Garurumon Digivolved in WereGarurumon.

WereGarurumon quickly defeated Digitamamon and scared off the Vegiemon causing Joe to be freed from the Digimon's vines, Matt then apologized to Joe for his harsh words when he noticed Jade was missing...

Meanwhile...

Jade watched as Demidevimon addressed the silhouette as Lord Myotismon before being punished for letting Matt's crest of Friendship glow, Jade listened closely to what was being said then waited until Demidevimon left before heading back to the others. She found the others looking for her and told them what she had overheard. Matt looked confused along with Tai when Sousuke said "So that's it..."

Everyone turned to Sousuke with curious eyes and he told them "Myotismon must be afraid of the Crests glowing for some reason...that's why they're trying to stop them from glowing"

Matt and Tai then looked at each other then said "Then all the more reason to find the others..."

They then all began walking until they hit a fork in the road and the signals from the others were down both sides of the path, Tai, Matt and Joe looked at each other then they split up with Jade and Ginta going with Tai and Joe while Sousuke joined Matt and TK...

Three days later...

Jade smiled as she saw Sousuke with Izzy, Matt and TK just ahead of them and called out to the all male group, the boys stopped and turned with a smile to wait for them as Jade's group ran over. They then asked if Matt's group had found Sora and Matt told them "We thought you did!"

Just then they were attacked by a Digimon called Flymon as Jade and Ginta got separated from the others when they fell into a bush and down a steep embankment. Jade and Ginta were both knocked out by their heads hitting the rocky ground, Demidevimon then found them and smiled evilly as he made to take their Crest but was stopped by Kitsumon and Renamon who growled at the Rookie. Demidevimon then used his attack called Demi dart and fired it at the twins only for Renamon and Kitsumon to catch and destroy the darts with their hands. Demidevimon then gulped as he realized that someone was behind him when Renamon said "Who are you?!"

Demidevimon turned to find Myotismon behind him and paled as the calculating look he was giving the twins, Renamon and Kitsumon were then knocked out as Myotismon told Demidevimon to take the two Digimon back to the castle and place them in a locked room together. Demidevimon was confused but did as asked while Myotismon turned and looked at the twins as he said "Could it be?"

He then gently picked up the twins before teleporting to his castle where he placed the twins in a different room from their Digimon; he gently placed a sleep spell on them then left to deal with the other Digidestined...

Meanwhile...

Tai and the others were searching for Ginta and Jade when Myotismon showed up, Sousuke watched as the others began to fight the then he ran towards Myotismon and jumped as he seamlessly shifted to full on Dragon form...

Myotismon was blindsided by the biggest dragon he had ever seen and they quickly began to fight while the Digimon tried to take out Demidevimon who was going after the other kids. Sousuke snarled as Myotismon struggled to get up with the heavy dragon on top of him, Myotismon then Sucker punched Sousuke across the face causing Sousuke to rear up on his hind legs from the pain. Myotismon took the chance to escape when an Injured Biyomon helped Sousuke double-team the Vampire Digimon...

Meanwhile, Back at the Castle...

Gatomon and Wizardmon headed towards the room where the two Digidestined Children as the spell would have worn off by now, Gatomon unlocked the door and they stepped inside to see the two were just about to wake up. Wizardmon closed the door and locked it with a simple spell as the male child woke up; he looked around sleepily then went wide eyed at seeing he was in a room. The female was not far behind him when she woke up with a yawn and slowly sat up, the male looked at her and sighed in relief as he hugged the female and said "You Ok?"

Jade smiled up at Ginta and said "A bit of a headache but other than that I'm fine, Big brother..."

Then the twins noticed the two Digimon and Jade smiled as she turned to face them, Ginta saw how relaxed she was and knew the two posed no threat to them due his twin's ability to instinctively know whether or not someone meant harm to her or Ginta. Jade then chirped "Hello! Who are you two?"

Wizardmon had to smile at the child and said "I'm known as Wizardmon, Little one."

Gatomon then introduced herself as Jade beamed at the two Digimon, she and Ginta then told their names to the two Digimon when they heard a knock on the door and Gatomon then opened the door to find Myotismon standing there. He asked Wizardmon and Gatomon to leave him and the Twins alone so he could talk to them alone, Ginta went a bit stiff as he watched the vampire Digimon close the door and then turn towards them with an unreadable look on his face...
