Ch.8
Myotismon looked at the twins and then asked "What is your last name, you two?"
Ginta growled at him as he gently moved to be in a position to protect Jade if need be and said "Why do you want to know?"
"Answer the question, child!"
Jade looked at the Vampire Digimon then said "I've seen you before...but where?"
Ginta looked surprised at his sister then turned to the Vampire Digimon who had a shocked look on his face but Ginta could also see a bit of hope too in Myotismon's eyes, Ginta then noticed his sister still hadn't tensed up like she would when someone want to harm them. He then sighed and said "Our last name is Potter...Why is it so important to you?"
Myotismon then walked over to the window and looked out before turning to the twins and said "Your mother's name was Lily and your Father's was James?"
Jade and Ginta's eyes went wide as they both said at the same time "You knew our parents?!"
Myotismon chuckled and said "I was your mother's Digimon before she died..."
It was Jade who barely remembered him and said in shock "Uncle Myo?"
Myotismon nodded and was tackled by Jade as she hugged his waist; Ginta then came over as he also remembered a bit about their Uncle Myo as Myotismon returned the hug Jade was giving him. Ginta then asked "so you were Mom's Digimon before our parents died in the car crash that gave us the scars on our foreheads?"
Myotismon growled and said "Who told you your parents died in a Car crash?"
"Our guardians did..."
Myotismon growled and then said "That story is not true, your parents were killed by a madman named Voldemort. They fought to protect you and for some reason after he had killed my partner and your father, you two survived while Voldemort supposedly died that night do to your Magic and whatever Lily did to protect you two."
Ginta went wide eyed at that while Jade looked confused and said "but Magic...isn't real, isn't it?"
Myotismon then went to explain when Ginta said "Jade, he means our gift! No wonder the Dursleys hate us...They must have known about the truth all along about what happened and our gift..."
Myotismon gave a low snarl as he said "You were placed with the Dursleys?"
The twins nodded and then Myotismon dropped a piece of news that shocked them, "You were never to go to the Dursleys because of how they treated your mother."
Jade and Ginta were shocked as Myotismon then sighed and said "Your Uncle Sirius or Uncle Severus was suppose to take you if the Longbottoms couldn't. Hell there was a whole list of people you were to go too."
Seeing the twins' confusion at the names he had mention, he let out a low growl then sighed as he looked outside at the rapidly darkening sky. Jade blinked as Myotismon ruffled her hair and told them they would have to stay in the room for now but he would have either Gatomon or Wizardmon bring them something to eat. Jade and Ginta nodded as Jade gave him a hug and then Myotismon left the room to prepare to go to the human world, The twins quietly waited for about half an hour before Wizardmon and Gatomon came in with while they each carried a tray of food. Jade and Ginta thanked them as Gatomon excused herself to finish something for Myotismon, Wizardmon stayed with the twins who smiled and asked him questions about the digital world that he gladly answered.
Jade was yawning about two hours later and Wizardmon advised them to get some sleep and he would see them tomorrow, Ginta nodded and thanked Wizardmon for keeping them company as he helped Jade into bed. Wizardmon nodded with a smile and then left the room as the Twins settled down for the night...
Meanwhile...
The other Digidestined were waiting for Agumon and Palmon to sneak them into the castle when Sousuke suddenly shifted to anthro form and sniffed the air, he then said "I smell Jade and Ginta...they're close by!"
Tai quickly made a decision and said "Sousuke...you think you can find them and stay with them?"
"I can try; I just hope they're ok..."
Tai nodded and said "We'll sneak into the Castle while you find Jade and Ginta."
Sousuke nodded and took to the air as his form shifted to a full dragon at the size of a housecat; he quickly checked the windows and soon found them fast asleep with their Digimon in the room next to them. He swooped in to the room and settled down on the canopy above the twins to keep guard over them...
The next day/night...
Myotismon quietly entered the room and smiled at the twins cuddling in the middle of the bed, he walked over and gently shook their shoulders as he said "Jade, Ginta...It's time to get up."
The twins stirred when Myotismon then heard a loud hiss and was attacked by a small white and gold dragon, Jade blinked then realized who the dragon was and said excitedly "Sousuke!"
The dragon broke off his attack and flew over to Jade as she hugged him happily, Ginta chuckled as then Myotismon asked "A friend of yours?"
Jade nodded along with Ginta when Gatomon came in and said "Lord Myotismon, we're ready..."
Jade looked curious as did Ginta and Sousuke, Myotismon then smiled and said "Come you two, it's time you reunite with your Digimon and we'll go to the human world..."
Jade looked confused but she had to smile as Myotismon held out his hands to them and the Twins each took a hand as he walked into the hall where their Digimon were waiting under guard, Jade grinned at seeing Renamon and tackled her Digimon as Renamon hugged her and said "Are you ok?"
Jade nodded and explained about Myotismon being their mother's Digimon to the two Digimon with her brother's help, Sousuke stayed curled around Jade's neck as Jade and Ginta followed Myotismon down to the large room where the gate to the Human world was. Jade had a bed feeling suddenly as Sousuke started to growl when Demidevimon showed up, Jade then yelped as she jumped back from a Demi dart attack causing Myotismon to attack Demidevimon. He then told the Rookie "Jade and Ginta are to be left alone as they are under my protection! Understood?"
Jade and Ginta were then showed into the carriage and Myotismon smiled as he told them he would be right back after opening the door, They nodded and sat down as Sousuke nuzzled Jade's cheek while she said "I have a bad feeling about this..."
Then they heard the other Digidestineds show up and begin to battle the Digimon outside, Jade looked worried and saw Myotismon climbing in to the carriage. He then gently tapped the wall and they started to ride through the gate when he noticed that Jade, Ginta, their Digimon and the small dragon were fading into thin air, Myotismon reached for them in a panic as they finished fading into the air causing a small tear to fall from his eyes as he wondered what just happened.
Jade, Ginta, Sousuke and the twins' Digimon felt like they were floating in an endless space when they suddenly heard voices calling their names and felt their feet touch the ground, Jade and Ginta opened their eyes and blinked at the sudden light when they noticed Sousuke was next to them in human form and also waking up. Jade then found Viximon on her lap fast asleep just as Ginta found Kitmon next to him, they then heard the teachers calling them and they hurried over to the teachers as the older kids told them that they had been in the old shrine at the top of the trail to wait out the storm...
Sousuke sighed as they were taken back to the others and found out that the English Pen pals would be staying in Karakura Town elementary, Jade then sat next to him and Ginta on the bus while Dudley tried to tease them without the teachers noticing...
One of the teachers then asked if the kids wanted to do karaoke and everyone cheered when Dudley then said evilly "I think my cousin Jade should go first!"
Jade froze then relaxed as she nodded and stood to go to the front when Dudley tripped her, Dudley pointed and laughed as he called her clumsy but Jade just stood up and headed to the front where she was handed the mike. The teacher asked what song she wanted and Jade whispered in her ear causing the teacher to smile, Jade then heard the music start and took a deep breath before singing "There's a Place for Us" by Carrie Underwood...

Jade then finished the song as the whole bus was silent enough to hear a pin drop; Sousuke then stood up and began to clap which started a chain reaction among the Japanese students. Her school was in shock that she was able to sing that well and Dudley just had a sour look on his face at his plan to embarrass Jade had failed, Ginta then stood and gave his sister a hug before they sat back down in their seats. Dudley then growled out "Your ugly voice is like nails on a chalkboard, you freak!"
Jade just ignored him while Sousuke glared at him from the corner of his eye, the trip didn't take long and soon the two Classes from England and the Karakura Town elementary Class were at the school where it was discovered that there wasn't enough room in the gym for the English students. Sousuke automatically volunteered to let Jade and Ginta stay with him at his home which his teacher agreed to along with the Twins' teacher who smiled and told them to be on their best behavior for Sousuke's family. Jade and Ginta nodded then began to follow Sousuke to his house while Dudley complained about the twins being able to sleep over at their pen pal's house. They soon broke into a run once they were out of sight and made their way to the four bedroom house that Orihime, Ulquiorra and Sousuke lived in, Orihime was home and looked up in surprise from her collage homework when they three entered the door.
Orihime then asked why Sousuke was home so early from the camp and who his two companions were; Sousuke then sighed and said "It's a rather long story..."
Orihime could hear the seriousness in his tone and said "Should I get the gang here?"
Sousuke thought about it for a minute then looked at Ginta while Jade looked confused, Ginta nodded and said "Orihime, I think it would be a good Idea...especially since I have a feeling Ichigo's sisters might be targeted..."
Orihime's eyes went wide then she hurried to the phone to start calling Ichigo and the others...
Meanwhile...
Myotismon was worried about Jade and Ginta as he had sent his henchmen out to look for the 8th Digidestined that could destroy his chances of helping the twins escape the Dursleys. He took an amulet out from under his shirt that his partner had made and given to him as he sighed, the amulet used to let him walk around as a human during the day but when he was transported back to the Digital world that night after Lily died...the Amulet's powers had disappeared or had just stopped working. The amulet was the last link he had to his partner besides her children and there wasn't a day when he didn't miss the only person that had given him a chance to prove himself...
The vampire Digimon sighed then laid down in his coffin to sleep until night fall when he could personally look for the twins...
