Sorry it's been so long since i last uploaded, i will continue when i can!
Tom's pov
Poor Kacey was all shaky and no wonder after what she'd been through. I took her inside and she let me clean the cut though it stung for her:
"All done, are you alright now?"
"Yeah i think I'm ok now, thanks sir"
"Right you go get changed cause there's blood on your clothes!"
She got changed into her jammies and we watched some tv:
"Kacey, do you want to tell me what happened with Barry?"
"He cut me, you saw it!"
"I know but i mean before that, what happened?"
"He wanted people to believe i was depressed so he could hurt me!"
"But why? did you annoy him or something?"
"The only thing i did to him was not do as he told me cause he still reckons i'm going through a phase!"
"What about your dad? Can he not speak to Barry and make him listen?"
"My dad left it to him to deal with me how he likes!"
"Awww alright, i'm phoning the police or whoever i need to at school tomorrow right, i won't leave you with them to hurt you even more!"
"Please no, i can't be the reason they get arrested!"
"If i don't call anyone then you will need to go back to that!"
"Is there nothing else you can do to help me?"
"Well i'm calling the police but you can choose not to press charges if that's what you want."
She nodded then the football game came on so we spent a while watching that before bed:
"Right Kacey time for bed!"
"Alright sir"
"On you go into Josh's room to sleep, and drop the sir will you it's Tom here!"
She smiled and we both went to bed, for her the first time in a while she's slept safely.
In the morning i went to wake her up for school and got a shock-she wasn't there! So i searched the house shouting on her but no sign of her so i went into the kitchen where i left my phone so i could try calling her and what a relief she was in the back garden having a kick about! I went out to get her!
"Mornin' Kacey."
"Mornin' sir...sorry i mean Tom!"
"How long have you been out here?"
"I dunno, about half an hour i think!"
"Well that's a relief, you gave me a fright, i thought something had happened to you!"
"Oh sorry, i'm an early riser!"
"Ok, have you had breakfast yet?"
"Not yet."
"Right come on have breakfast just now then we'll go to school"
"But Tom, Barry's at school!"
"If he so much as goes near you, you get help ok try not to wander alone!"
"Ok!"
After breakfast i drove Kacey to school and Nikki saw us get out of the car together:
"Be careful Kacey!"
"I will sir!"
She went to find Harley and Lula and Nikki came over:
"Mornin' Nikki."
"Mornin' Tom, did i just see you get out the same car as Kacey Barry?"
"Yes you did!"
"Tom what's going on? You can't be giving lifts to all the kids!"
"Nikki she slept at mine last night!"
"TOM! WHAT THE HELL!
"Calm down you clearly have the wrong idea!"
"Well you better have a good explanation cause you can't invite pupils over for sleepovers Tom!"
"I took her to mine because Barry cut her and i'm sure he was going to do worse so i had to help her!"
"Oh my god he didn't did he? You need to call the police Tom she could be in serious trouble if he sees her!"
"I know i've told her to stick with someone all the time today and i'm calling the police once we get inside!"
"What are we gonna do i mean they're in the Pru together all day?"
"Just don't leave them alone and they will both be ok!"
The bell went and i went to the staff room since i had no class first and straight away i got on the phone to the police telling them it was urgent so they said they would come right away which meant i had to go let Michael know so i went to his office:
"Michael i need to tell you something!"
"Sorry Tom can it wait i'm doing something?"
"No it can't i'm afraid!"
"Ok what is it?"
"The police are on the way for Barry Barry!"
"WHAT?! What's he done?"
"He cut Kacey's wrist last night!"
"I'm guessing on purpose?"
"Yes, she won't be a girl so he cut her!"
"Right come on we'll go meet the police outside!"
Barry's pov
I was in the Pru and the brat had been moved to the other end of the room. We weren't in for long when Mr Clarkson and Mr Byrne came in with police:
"Sir what's going on?"
"Come with us Barry!"
I looked over at Kacey who looked confused and upset:
"THIS IS YOUR FAULT YOU LITTLE BRAT!"
Everyone from the Pru followed us outside and Rhiannon spoke up:
"Miss what's he done?"
Kacey's pov
Barry was being arrested so we followed him out, Mr Clarkson came over to stand beside me and Barry turned to face me and shouted:
"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT KACEY! YOU AND YOUR STUPID PHASE!"
I cried a little, touched my wrist and replied:
"Why can't you just accept it's not a phase? Accept that i'm a boy?"
"Because you're not! Your my baby sister!"
He turned away and the police took him away, then Mr Clarkson...Tom sent everyone back inside but i just sat down on a chair inside and cried. Tom came over to comfort me:
"Hey Kacey, I know you didn't want him arrested but he would have hurt you again!"
"I know sir but he's my brother, i don't want him in prison as well as my dad!"
"I know it's rubbish but he can think in jail and he can't harm you Kacey, it's over!"
Could it be true? Could it be over? Could i be safe?
