Tom's pov

After playing football in the garden with Kacey i went inside and decided i should call Josh, he should know about Kacey! I left her to play outside while i called him:

"Hi Josh."

"Hi dad, what's up?"

"Nothing, how are you son?"

"I'm fine, are you ok?"

"Yeah i'm good, listen when can you next come over for a visit?"

"I'm not sure, why?"

"I wanna see you, and i need to tell you something!"

"Is it serious? Are you ill?"

"No son, nothing like that!"

"Ok well i can go over for a few days on Monday if you want?"

"Yeah that's great son, I'll see you then!"

"Yeah see ya!"

Now since that was sorted i could just tell Mika and Chlo next time we talk but Kacey had someone to tell too, in person. So i got her in from the garden and told her to ask Dynasty to come over:

"Right Kacey, i know you had an argument but she should know you're settling in!"

"Alright i'll call her!"

Kacey's pov

Tom said Dyn should know i was staying with him so i called her:

"Hey Dyn."

"Hey Kacey, i hope you're not still mad at me?"

"How could i not be when you are happy we lost our brother as well as our dad?"

"I know, i was just trying to think of your safety!"

"Can you come over to Tom's house please? I'll meet you at the school and walk you here!"

"Yeah course, i just need to re-do my makeup first so meet me there in an hour!"

"Okay bye."

"Bye."

An hour later i met her at the school gates with Tom:

"Hey."

"Hey Kacey, You alright?"

"Yeah, you?"

"Yeah, it's weird at home without you!"

"Come on, Tom's in the car!"

We got in and Tom drove us back, when we got there Tom went upstairs to leave us alone to talk:

"Have you spoke to Barry?"

"No, i didn't want you thinking i was on his side!"

"You're allowed to see your brother as long as you don't hurt me!"

"I would never hurt you, you're my baby brother!"

I smiled then got on with it:

"Well you know how i've been staying here until my social worker had permanent placement placement for me?"

"Yeah, has she found you somewhere yet?"

"Yes!"

"So where you gonna be going? Are they putting you in the school house or can you come home?"

"I'm moving in with Tom!"

"WHAT?! Kacey he's a teacher at our school you can't just move in with him - it's creepy!"

"I know that, he's adopting me!"

"What? Why can't you just come home?"

"Dynasty you saw what happened, i'm not safe at home!"

"But Barry's gone now!"

I think she was trying not to cry, she just wanted me back:

"They can't guarantee mum wouldn't hurt me so i can't, sorry!"

"Typical eh? We can't have a simple life, it's like a curse on Barrys!"

"I know, you can come over all the time if you want, we don't need to stay apart!"

She nodded and hugged me.
