I know I have offended people with Kacey's transgender story in this fanfic an I am sorry about that but I am not going to sit and research because I do enough of that for my school work. I am sorry to those enjoying the way i have been writing this but i am going to have to skip ahead at least a few months in it so that i offend people less.
Tom's pov
Robbie was so happy when we left the doctor's which is great to see, the we went home and played footie for a bit. Saturday morning i woke up at 9, got dressed and went downstairs to watch TV with Robbie then at 10 Mika arrived with Brett:
"Hey Mika, you alright?"
"Yeah i'm good Tom!"
"Great. You alright Brett?"
"Yeah thanks Tom."
"Kacey's out in the garden but i need to speak to you both first!"
We went and sat in the kitchen:
"What is it Tom?"
"Before you speak to Kacey, basically her name is now Robbie!"
"What? Why? That's a boy's name, the weirdo!"
Brett spoke up:
"Mika! Tom is she transgender or something?"
"Yeah she is, be gentle!"
We went out to the garden to see Robbie!
Kacey's pov
I was playing football in the garden as usual when Tom came out with two people, I kept playing when they came out:
"Robbie, can you stop a minute?"
I caught the ball under my foot to stop it and looked over at him:
"This is Mika and her boyfriend Brett!"
"Hi, you any good at football either of you?"
Mika answered:
"I'm crap but Brett will play with you!"
Brett just nodded:
"Come on then, I'll go easy on you."
"Oh fighting talk, you're on! I'll show you how it's done!"
Tom and Mika just stood laughing as we played, he was alright but not good enough to beat me.
Tom's pov
I went inside for a catch up with Mika leaving the boys outside:
"So how have you been Mika?"
"Good yeah, fine. You sure that' the kid you saved?"
"Yeah, why?"
"She seems too happy to be not long after being abused!"
"Yeah Josh cheered her up and she's starting treatment so she's happy again!"
"Josh managed to cheer someone up? That's a first!"
"Oi he's not that bad to you!"
"Suppose, sometimes."
We kept talking for a while then Robbie ran in followed by Brett walking behind:
"You two finished?"
"Yeah I won, of course!" Robbie said excitedly
"Don't worry Brett, she beats most people."
"Mika, she got Josh to play with her!"
"Josh played football? Impressive Robbie!"
