This Chapter was graciously Started by my good friend Dark Marbles, though I did quite a bit of editing to make it right. As for the line on the left side, I haven't a clue where it came from or how ti remove it. Sorry. Enjoy the chapter!
The sun was minutes away from dissappearing over the horizon when Headhunter burst through a door that lead to the roof, raised his sniper rifle. The target was propped up against one of his body guards. Headhunter was breathing heavily from the long run up the stairs, so he emptied his lungs of air, and tried to slow his heart rate. He pulled out a picture that was in his pocket to confirm that the Blue Coated, Dark Maned Unicorn was indeed the cunning C. Czar, Milliarty genius and Traitor. Satisfied at his target identification, Head Hunter took aim. The target suddenly flopped over, and his body guard leaned over to make sure he was alright, covering the pony for the sniper's aim. Though the target was a military lord, Czar's addiction to alcohol was almost as legendary as his strategies. Headhunter swore under his breath. He stood up to try another angle, but the body guard was still in the way. Seeing that there was no possible angle, Headhunter started to jump to a closer roof, when suddenly he heard the crack of a 7.62 Muaser bullet. One quick look at the blood splatter along the ground was all it took to know what had happened. Headhunter searched the rooftops, but realized that Ellen was on the ground, just down the road from were the drunken Strategist made his last fall. The body guards had seen here too. What the hell was she thinking? Wondered Headhunter as he watched her run down the street. He took a deep breath, then started running across the rooftops of buildings in thebsame direction. Ellen suddenly ran into an alleyway, and Headhunter was not far behind, though the late Czar's body guards were much closer Ellen skid to a stop when she realized the the alley was a dead end. It had the appearance of a turn, but the walls were straigh all the was back, ending with the back of a relatively new building. The hoove sounds behind her slowed to a walk when the pursures realized they had their prey trapped. "You killed our boss, you little bitch, and now you're going to pay..." The Largest of the Stallions Snarled. Ellen turned slowly, holding her rifle at her hip. The largest stallion was dark brown in color, his horn glowing red, using magic to hold and aim a .44 Caliber Dessert Eagle (It was a civilian model) It didn't look like he was sure how to use it, though Ellen had little doubts that mattered. The other two stallions were grey, one with a green mane, the other with a blue mane. They each had heavy armor, with swords in their mouths. Ellen was scared, and unsure what to do, when suddenly another shot tore through the air. The Brown Unicorn fell to his knees, the toppled over, and his eyes rolled back into his head. Before the other ponies could react, Headhunter jumped off of the roof, into the alley. His rifles was already across his back, and he stabbed his Tribesman's Shiv through the chest of the green maned pony. The blue maned pony froze in shee horror as to what had just happened, but then he fell as a bullet from Ellen's rifle entered and exited his brain. By then, three more henchman had run into the alley. The fem sniper dropped her rifle and reached for her smg, but before she could take aim, a red earthpony jumped at her. She dived out of the way, but droped both weapons in the process. The Mustang-Red-Mustang had a dagger in his mouth, and was swinging it like a mad man. Ellen evaded several attacks, ducking and jumping, and punched the pony in the face. She made a dive toward her submachine gun, but the stallion was quicker, pinning her outreached arm to he ground. He leaned in for the kill. When the knife was just a few inches away, Ellen twisted to kick the stallion in the air. Before he even hit the ground Ellen had her SMG, turn the flying pony into a flying corpse. Meanwhile, Headhunter was confronted by the other pony, a white Unicorn with a red mane. This Unicorn had samurai-like armor, and was using magic to wield four katanas. Headhunter quickly slashed at the far-most right katana, then kicked the far-most left katana. These two the Samurai pony jad the least focus on, and they clattered to the ground. However, the other two katanas were much tighter, and quickly became a fury of slices, sweeps, and parries. Headhunter was doing the best he could, but was feeling overwhelmed. He fell to the ground, dropping the Tribesman's shiv. The Samurai Pony held his katanas high to move in for the kill, but the sound of Ellen's submachine gun filling the Mustange full of holes stole his attention from his 'easy kill.' When the Samurai Pony looked back at Headhunter, he was greeted by the barrel of a 9mm Luger Parabellum. One bullet gave him and honorable death. Headhunter stood up, looked over to make sure Ellen was okay, but was surprised by the sound of Hoofs galloping. After his intial surprise wore off, he realized the pony was not running into battle, but away from it. A second 9mm bullet casing hit the ground to join the first. Content that none of the ponies were still moving, Head Hunter helped Ellen to her feet. "Mind telling me why you took a shot at the target from the steet?" Headhunter inquired. "Well, it looked like you weren't going to. Better me take a shot when you don't then neither of us making a shot. Besides..." Ellen shruged, then gestured around them. "Everything ended just fine, anyway. Maybe even better!" "Yeah, next time you want to get yourself killed... Acutally, don't. Don't try and get yourself killed, okay?" Headhunter was only mostly mad at her. "You're no fun." Ellen replied, a sly grin extending across her exhausted face. Headhunter rapped his arm around her shoulder, and held her close as they snuck back to the hotel...
