Chapter 34-The Return
Peter Pan's POV
I step onto the walkway of the Jolly Rodger, taking a look at this land that the curse brought all these people to. I then step off the walkway letting the rest of "my family" follow me. I notice a rather large group of this town's residents waiting for our return. Little did they know that their precious Henry was trapped in Pandora's box, courtesy of his grandfather, and my ex-best friend. As I reach the ground several of the residents begin to hug me. The feeling is…weird, but I have to hug them back if I'm going to fool them all that I'm Henry. As people are hugging me, I see the others exit the Jolly Rodger; Emma, Charming, Snow, Baelfire, Hook, Regina, Rumplestiltskin, Morgan. I then stop noticing who gets off as my gaze remains fixated on her. At least there's one good thing about being in Henry's body; I can be with Morgan as much as I want and no one will really care as Morgan is Henry's long lost twin sister.
"How does it feel to finally be home?", Emma asks me once the hugging has ceased, as well as breaking my gaze from Morgan.
"Better than I ever imagined", I respond.
Emma's POV
"How do you feel?", Mary Margaret asks David.
"Pretty good, actually. I think the water must be working", David replies.
"Aye, it is. Dreamshade overtook my brother the moment we left Neverland", Hook responds.
"Gold will find a cure. You'll be okay", Mary Margaret insists.
"I have to admit, there was a minute there I didn't believe we were all going to make it out of that place", I admit.
"Well, we did", David responds.
"And we owe a lot of it to her. Regina helped save us all", Mary Margaret says loudly.
Charming's POV
"So what about that Shadow?", I ask Gold as Belle, Emma, Gold, and I study the black sail.
"Don't worry, it's trapped. Just as it was in the candle. The only person that can free it is safely in here", Gold replies, glancing at Pandora's box, where Pan is trapped, for good.
Peter Pan's POV
I walk over to where Felix was waiting for me.
"What do you have in mind, Peter? What if someone decides to open that box; let the real boy out?", Felix asks me.
"That's not the problem, trust me", I reply.
"What's the next step?"
"You need to be punished. Hey, Mom, Dad. What about Felix? He's still free", I respond, saying the last part loudly so the Charmings would come over. Well all except for Morgan, who continued to stare off into space, too busy doing nothing to be bothered.
"What are you doing?", Felix asks.
"They need to trust me", I whisper back, with plenty of duh in Henry's voice.
"Henry's right. We can't just let Felix walk away free", Regina says once they all walk over.
"Don't worry, we got plenty of cell space for this guy", Charming says before leading my most loyal lost boy away.
"You're safe now, Henry", Emma says.
"And so is Morgan", Baelfire says, glancing at his daughter.
Morgan's POV
We were gathered in Mr. Gold's, or Rumplestiltskin's shop, whatever he goes by. He was placing Pandora's Box in a hiding spot in the floor.
"Once I seal the box in here, no one can break the spell but me", Mr. Gold says before casting a spell which hid the location of Pandora's box. I guess if he ever wants to let Pan out he'll have to remember where he hid the box.
"You're not going to do that?", Henry asks him.
"What do you mean? I want Pan trapped as much as you", Mr. Gold responds.
"Don't worry", Emma says to me and Henry. Yeah, cause I'm definitely afraid of someone trapped in a magical box.
"He's not getting out of there", Neal adds. Well as long as there's not a key in the inside of the box, I think he's right.
"We won't let anything happen to either of you again, I promise", Regina says. Let's see how long it takes before she goes back on her word, cause this isn't the first time someone has said something like this to me.
"She's right. You needn't worry. As long as I'm alive, that boy will never see the light of day", Mr. Gold tells us. So basically if he dies, Pan will be let out, that's reassuring.
Peter Pan's POV
Everyone was celebrating the return of Emma, Snow, Charming, Baelfire, Hook, Regina, Rumplestiltskin, and Henry. Man, these people were too easy to fool as no one had even begun to doubt that I was Henry, which is good news for me. Well not everyone was celebrating; Morgan and I were just sitting in a diner booth watching everyone begin to get themselves drunk.
Suddenly, Emma comes over to me and places a large book titled Once Upon a Time in front of me. I just look at it, kinda confused on how I should react to it.
"Well, don't get too excited. Neal still had it in his room. We thought you'd want it. Especially since you just lived a fairytale of your own", Emma says.
"Right. Thanks", I reply, then start flipping through the book. Maybe I should've gotten to know Henry better, that way acting as him would be much easier.
"You okay?"
"Yeah. Why?"
Emma doesn't ask any more questions and walks away, leaving Morgan and I alone. While Morgan looks out the windows, I continue to flip through the book, hoping to find the information I need from it.
Neal's POV
"I've made a decision when it comes to Emma. I'm gonna back off", Hook tells me as I sit in the seat next to him.
"Back off?", I ask.
Hook: For the sake of your kids. Let their parents have a fair shot without a... devilishly handsome pirate standing in the way. They've been through enough already, no need to add more drama".
"You're serious?"
"Yeah. I am devilishly handsome".
"Thanks, man".
Hook: Don't thank me yet. You see, I'm in this for the long haul. You've already walked out on Emma once. Not so sure she'll let you back in", Hook says before leaving me as Emma approaches.
Emma's POV
"How are they doing?", Neal asks me as I approach him.
"They're as good as it can be expected", I reply.
"So, uh, Emma, can we... make some time to... talk?"
"Isn't that what we are doing right now?"
"Yeah, uh... I just thought…maybe just the two of us".
"Are you trying to ask me on a date?"
"You know, when you put it like that…"
"Neal, I don't know".
"Listen, Henry's back and he's safe. And we've found Morgan before it was too late. Okay, look, I'll make it easier for you. Tomorrow I'm gonna be hungry just around lunchtime and so I'm gonna come here. I'm gonna sit in one of these booths and you're welcome to join me. And if not, I'll quit bugging you", Neal says before walking towards the twins.
I turn around to see Mary Margaret and David give each other knowing looks. "Don't say it", I tell them .
"Say what?", Mary Margaret asks me.
"That I owe it to Neal to go on a date with him".
"You don't. You owe it to yourself".
"I can't think about myself right now; not after what the twins just went through", I tell them before leaving them.
Peter Pan's POV
"Sorry, kid. It's time for something you didn't have in Neverland—bedtime", Emma says to me. I close the book and look up, I notice that Morgan's still not back from the bathroom yet. "Where's Morgan?", Emma then asks me.
"She said she was going to the bathroom", I reply.
"I was just there, but no one else was there. I guess we'll have to look for her before going home. But first let's say goodnight to Regina".
"Goodnight? I didn't realize it was getting so late. It's going to be hard to let you out of my sight", Regina says as we walk over to her to say goodbye.
"Maybe you don't have to. Maybe I could stay with you tonight", I reply. As much as I wanted to find Morgan, I knew Regina could lead me to where I needed to go, her vault.
"Oh. Of course".
"Yeah, uh, just call me tomorrow and let me know what time you want to pick you up", Emma tells me.
"Come on, Henry. Let's go home", Regina says before we head out of the diner. Once we get there I will get the information I need, then the fun can begin.
