Kate POV
As we all stepped out of the van, I stood next to Humphrey as we bunched up in a group. The car ride took about an hour and a half, but Satereous drove the van full speed the entire way. We averaged at 85 miles an hour, which is fast as hell for a van. Brian smiled and walked over to the five guys who were standing in a line when we got there.
The five wolves stood in a line one beside each other. One had a cigar in his mouth, and they were all dressed in full military attire topped off with dog tags, army boots, and army hats. None wore glasses so I could see each one of their eyes. They appeared a little stern and very muscular. I could see their muscles through their clothes and it was a bit intimidating.
"Hey Kyle how've you been?" Brian asked one of the military personnel.
"Not bad how bout yourself?" Kyle asked giving Brian a clap on the shoulder.
"Not bad, not bad," Brian turned to face us and introduced the drill sergeants to us.
"Ok everyone," Brian started, "These men will be your instructors for the next week or so. This one here," he said, motioning the black coated wolf who he had already greeted, "is Kyle, and he is the head drill sergeant so make sure not to piss him off."
Kyle gave a slight chuckle. He seemed nice and had a good sense of humor. He seemed nothing like what a drill sergeant should be like.
"Kyle stood forward and introduced himself, "Hello everyone, and welcome to my training grounds. I bought this from the government after my deployment to Afghanistan. I'm from the United States by the way, as are these folks which will be helpers during this week of training."
He stepped in front of the man standing to the direct left of him. "This is James, he will be helping you become experts with handling and using firing arms and other weapons. This is Grant," He continued, stepping in front of an orange coated wolf, "He is in charge of getting you capable of operating under stressful and dangerous situations for long periods of time. He is in charge of your endurance unit." He continued to the next wolf who had silver colored fur, and introduced him, "This is Smith, and he is an expert on teamwork and platoon work. This is a critical area of your training so please work hard during the time he has with you." Smith smiled with the cigar still in his mouth. Kyle finally reached the last wolf, who had a brown coat, and when I looked closely I noticed it was...a girl! Kyle began to introduce her, "This is Riley, and she's here to teach you reconassaince and hand to hand combat. And guys, don't try anything with her because she'll kick the living shit out of you." The five seargants laughed.
Riley looked up and made eye contact with me and gave a soft smile. She seemed nice and quiet but I'm sure Kyle wasn't lying when he said she could kick the shut out of anyone.
Kyle got serious again and looked at us. "You're all wondering what I will be doing, and that's for day 5, which will be technology use and mental focus testing to make sure you won't break under pressure. This is a very serious situation with your friend, and you should all understand that this isn't s game. It is very possible that some of you may get seriously wounded or killed. This is the last time you have the option of turning back because after this we plan to use each one of you as vital assets to this mission. If any of you want to go home, tell me now,". Kyle looked at each of us as dead silence filled the air.
I grabbed Humphrey's arm and took in our surroundings. Fifteen wolves just standing in an open paved square in the middle of what is pretty much wasted land. Almost desert-like in appearance. Flat for miles and dry orange dirt which cracked under my feet as I uneasily shuffled around during the silence.
Kyle finally broke the silence and said, "Ok then. Welcome to unknown fifteen."
Humphrey POV
We were all put in a large cabin for bedding. None of us thought we'd be staying here for the week, but it didn't make sense to drive back and forth so I guess this is just more efficient. We were given a tour of the site, which was relatively small consisting of four cabins similar to ours, a mess hall, firing range, air strip, medical facility, and some work out rooms and obstacle courses, which honestly looked like fun. Everyone was moving into the cabin as best we could since most of us didn't have anything with us. Most everything was already set up for us anyway. Lilly, Kate, Garth, Mooch, and Salty told their parents they got the week off from school and we're spending a week at a friends summer home. Me and my siblings just waited for them by the front door of the cabin so we could meet in the plaza where we arrived to begin arms training. I looked at the clock on the door, it read 3:45 which meant gwe had quite some time to get training in. Kate walked up to me and kissed my cheek and we all began to head over to the plaza.
"Aren't your parents suspicious that you said you have a week off school?" I asked Garth, Kate, Lilly, Salty and Mooch.
"Not really," Mooch said, "The police who said they were "investigating" around campus work with Brian, so they canc,,elled school for a week for us,"
"That's awesome!" Janice said.
"Don't get too far ahead of yourself because maybe you'll find school will be better than this," Kate said.
"Yeah right," Mooch teased.
We arrived at the plaza and saw James standing alone in the middle of the plaza with his legs slightly spread apart and his hands clasped together, hanging in front of him.
"You guys are late, it's 3:49". You were supposed to be here four minutes ago. We have no time to waste so we'll run the mile to the firing range instead of taking the jeep," he said motioning behind him.
"Let's go," he finished, and we all started jogging to start our training, the cool November air flowing through our hair as we breezed to our destination.

Ok Guys another chapter complete. It really has been too long but that's because I've started college! It's so exciting and different so I've been trying not to fall behind. Anyways, we have over 13,000 views now which is crazy and awesome. However I want to throw something out there. Some people have been asking me to include pairings and immediate lemons and stuff and that's not what I intended this story to be about. It's not supposed to be all about sex and stuff, so if you want to read pairings, go read some stuff dedicated to lemons. Thank you.
Once again I would like to thank
AO Kate and Humphrey
Lilly and Me
Xx Dark Shadow xX
Thanks again for all the support and I'll see you all soon.
