DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN ONCE IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM

so sorry for long wait...i kinda had to figure out where i wanted to take this story (my improv class where i met fellow oncers where every death scene we did, which was proven to be a lot, involved peter pan, mostly as the pied piper, helped with my story a lot)

as it is now november (the month i published this story last year on november 14) I will begin to update more frequently in honor of the anniversary

PLEASE REVIEW!

REVIEWS:

hateme101:Don't give up hope yet as I'm not cruel enough to kill Pan (at least not yet)

REVENGEST: Glad you're enjoying my story

Guest 1: Pan just is OUAT dead where (despite the fact that magic can't bring back the dead) that character is somehow revived

BTRE3lover: Things will change...just wait and see

Caylee: Pan isn't dead so the end of the story isn't over. And this half of season 3 will have a lot of Pan/Morgan romance

to-the-trees: Don't worry, Morgan will get her memories soon and Pan isn't dead

Gust 2: The story won't end yet so don't you worry

PeterPan: Here's the update

Chapter 38-New York Serenade

Emma's POV

"Hey", Walsh greets me as I make my way over to where he was seated at a restaurant.

"Sorry, I'm late", I respond.

"I guess that means you caught the guy".

"So optimistic, I like it".

"If you hadn't you'd have cancelled".

"You know me too well".

"Emma Swan always gets her man".

"And apparently my drink. Thank you", I say when a waiter hands me a glass of wine.

"Thank you. How did the twins' volcano do at science fair?", Walsh replies.

"It was Pompeii all over again. Thank you for your help".

"Come on. All I did was convince them not to use real lava. Especially Morgan, she really fought for it".

"Their teachers did appreciate that".

"Are you happy? With your food - are you happy?"

"We are happy".

"I'll be right back", Walsh says, getting up and leaving the table. After Walsh is out of eyesight, the guy who tried to kiss me sits across the table from me.

"You!", I exclaim.

"I can explain", the man replies.

"You are a stalker!"

"Don't scream. Just hear me out. I don't do this very often. So treasure it, love. I've come to apologize".

"For trying to kiss me?"

"I was simply trying to jog your memory".

"It's time for you to go. Now".

"Your parents are in great danger, Emma".

"You really have no idea what you're talking about".

"Cause you think you're an orphan? Because that's haunted you your whole life? I'm here to tell you everything yo believed is wrong".

"You don't know me".

"Alas, I know you better than you know yourself. I have proof. Take a gander". He hands me a small piece of paper. "Here's an address. If you wanna know who you really are, who your parents are, go there".

"Leave. Now", I demand.

"You've been there before. A year ago. You just don't remember", he tells me.

"A year ago I was in Boston. Till a fire destroyed my apartment and I moved to New York to have a fresh start with my kids".

"Regina did really a number on you".

"You're a crazy person. Or a liar. Or both".

"I prefer dashing rapscallion. Scoundrel?"

"Give me one good reason not to punch you in the face".

"You really don't believe me? Try using your superpower. Yep, I know about that. Use it. See that I'm telling the truth".

"Just because you believe something is true, does not make it real".

"Maybe. Maybe not. I know you, Swan. You sense something's off. Go to that address. Take a chance. Then you'll want to talk. When you do I'll be in Central Park. By the entrance of the zoo. Don't do it for me. Or you. Do it for your family. They need your help", the strange man tells me before finally leaving.

"Hey. What's that?", Walsh asks me, as he returns, noticing the note.

"Nothing", I reply, pocketing the note. A waiter then serves me an ice cream sundae.

"Hope you're still hungry", Walsh says.

"Walsh, I couldn't eat another bite".

"You remember our first date? You were being you. So I couldn't swing a dinner. I brought you here for lunch, which didn't stop you from ordering an ice-cream sundae, which wasn't on the menu. I bribed the chef. They made one up".

"I remember. I was nervous. Now I'm full".

"Will you at least look at it? Walsh turns the sundae around so that I can see an engagement ring placed on the plate. "Emma, I don't want to freak you out, but I couldn't wait any longer. I love you. I love Henry and Morgan. I love our lives together and I wanna have a future together. Emma Swan, will you marry me?", Walsh asks, keeling down on one knee.

Morgan's POV

"Did you two behave yourselves?", I hear my mom's voice ask me and Henry as she enters the living room where Henry and I are currently playing video games.

"Yeah", I reply.

"I see you two have had a quiet night".

"Not quiet. Concentrating. We've finally reached level 23", Henry corrects.

"Do you mind if a fifth-level wizard joins you?", mom asks us.

"At level 23? Good luck with that", I respond.

"So what did you say? To Walsh?", Henry asks her.

"You knew? How?", she asks him.

"Come on, mom. First date restaurant. A special night out. Writing was on the wall".

"I'm surprised you didn't see it", I add.

"Technically, the writing was on the dessert", mom replies.

"So, what did you say?", Henry asks. Mom remains silent. "Poor guy".

"I didn't say no".

"If you didn't say yes, I stand by my poor guy assessment".

"Henry's got a point", I say.

"I just need some time to think about it. I mean, it's like a big step. We've got a good thing going here, just the three of us. And I don't need you two ganging up on me", mom responds.

"Mom, we're twins, we can't help but agree with each other, at least most of the time".

"Yeah, and we'd still have a good thing if it was just the four of us", Henry adds.

"You think Walsh is worthy of joining our little family?", mom asks.

"He's okay". Henry then pauses the game and turns around to face mom. "Mom, not every guy is like my dad. Not every guy is just gonna leave you".

"He didn't just leave. He set me up to take the fall for his crime and left me in jail. He doesn't even know either of you exist. He doesn't deserve to".

"This guy is not that guy. He wants to be with you. Us. He wants us to be his home. And anyways, I know you like him".

"How?"

"Cause he's the first guy you've dated I've ever met". Henry then resumes the game.

"And all the others lasted a week tops", I say.

"When did you two get so wise?", mom asks us

Henry: Somewhere after Level 16 when we became knights", Henry replies.

Emma's POV

I break in the apartment the next day and look around, I immediately notice a dream catcher hanging in the window, I smile briefly remembering when we had found that in a motel, but it doesn't last long when I remember how he set me up.

Emma: "Flypaper for nightmares. Neal", I say picking up the dream catcher before putting it back to where it was hanging. I walk around, picking up some letters. Again, I notice they're addressed to Neal Cassidy. Walking around a bit further I pick up a camera. Henry's name is embroidered on it. What the hell! "That's not possible", I say to myself.

Third Person's POV

"Swan, I knew that'd work. It's good to see you again", Hook says to Emma as she approaches him.

"Why didn't you tell me it was Neal's place?", Emma replies angrily.

"I think the tone of your voice answers that quite clearly. You never would have gone if I had".

"What does Neal have you up to? Is he trying to get into my kids' lives? How does he even know about Henry?"

"I've already told I'm not here because of Neal. I'm here because your parents are in trouble. Their entire kingdom has been cursed, ripped back to Storybrooke".

"What are you talking about? My parents? Their kingdom? A curse? Do you know what you sound like?"

"Like a mad man, I'm sure. But it's true. Your parents need you. You're the only one who can save them. If you don't believe me at all, why did you come here?"

"Because Neal has a camera with my son's name on it. How?"

"Don't you see? That is proof of what I'm saying. Henry must have left that in the apartment when you were in New York last year".

"Not good enough. I want answers. Real ones".

"There's only one way you'll get those. Drink this". Hook says handing Emma a memory potion.

"Drink the thing the crazy guy just offered me? No, thank you", Emma responds.

"It'll help you remember everything you have lost. If one small part of you senses that, don't you owe it to yourself to find out, if I'm right? What do you say, love? Take a leap of faith. Give it a go".

"Call me love one more time and you'll lose the other hand", Emma says, cuffing Emma to a bench.

"Swan, what are you doing?", Hook demands.

"Making sure that you never bother my kids and me ever again". Emma whistles; two police officers approach. "This is the guy. The one who assaulted me", Emma says to the officers.

"It was a kiss", Hook says.

"There. He confessed", Emma says to the police officers.

"You're under arrest for assault and criminal harassment, sir. You have the right to remain silent", one of the police officers tells Hook.

"Swan, please. You're making a mistake. A terrible, terrible mistake. Swan, you family needs you", Hook says to Emma.

Morgan's POV

"You wanna talk to us about Walsh, don't you?", Henry asks mom.

"What makes you say that?", she asks.

"You bought us candy at the drug store".

"We know a bribe when we see one", I add.

"Okay. Maybe you're right. I have been thinking about him. Maybe what happened in my past with your birth father has kept me from living my life now. Maybe it's time for me to start looking forward", mom says.

"So, does that mean you gonna marry him?", Henry asks. She just smiles. "So, that's a yes. How are you gonna tell him".

"Wait. Wait. First, I didn't say that I…"

"You could tell him at dinner tonight".

"We're not having dinner".

"You actually are", I say.

"I might have sent him a text from your phone this morning. He's coming over at eight and I arranged for Morgan and I to sleep over by Ava and Avery's so the two of you could be alone. It's okay, mum. If your gut's telling you to marry him, trust it", Henry informs her.

"Crap, I forgot to pick something up. Go. See, if you can beat Level 24. I'll meet you up there. See ya", she responds.

"See ya", Henry and I respond at the same time before leaving to enter the apartment.

Emma's POV

"Hey. We need to talk", I say to the mysterious guy as he exits the police station.

"I knew you wouldn't let me rot in that cage. I've been in my fair share of brigs, but none as barbaric as that. They force-fed me something called bologna", he replies.

"What the hell are these?", I demand, showing him the photos of Henry and I in this town called Storybrooke.

"So you believe me, then".

"I don't know. You could have photoshopped these pictures".

"Photoshopped?"

"Faked".

"If you think these are forgeries, then why'd you spring me from the brig? Because as much as you deny it, deep down, you know something's wrong. Deep down, you know I'm right".

"It's not possible. How can I forget all of this?"

"I promise you there's an explanation".

"Not one that'll make sense".

"If you drink this, it will", he says, offering me this vial of some liquid.

"If- If what you're saying is true I'd have to give up my life here".

"It's all based on lies".

"It's real and it's pretty good. I have Henry and Morgan. A job. A guy I love".

"Perhaps there's a man that you love in the life you've lost. Regardless, if you wanna find the truth, drink up. Do you really want to live a life of lies? You know this isn't right. Trust your gut, Swan. It will tell you what to do".

"Henry always says that".

"Then if you won't listen to me, then listen to your boy". I hesitate, but drink the strange liquid. Memories come back to me; when I first met Henry, breaking the curse, traveling to the Enchanted Forest, finding Neal in Manhattan, Neal falling through a portal, Henry getting kidnapped by Greg and Tamara, finding Morgan in Neverland.

"Hook", I say in realization.

Morgan's POV

When I got back to the apartment with Henry, instead of playing video games with Henry, I head to my, well our, room. I pull out a sketch pad that contains images that still baffle me. I open it up to the first page that has a boy with green eyes and a smirk on his lips staring at me. Who is this kid? I draw people, places, and things I have seen, so how did I create an entire sketch pad of this boy, a mysterious island, and this shadow.

Emma's POV

"Mom! Mom! You're hurting the eggs", Henry says to me.

"Right. May I ask you two something?", I ask the twins.

"Sure", they reply at the same time.

"Do you believe in magic?"

"Of course. And the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. If it gets me a present, I believe. You're not sure you made the right decision, are you?"

"I just didn't feel like eggs".

"He meant about Walsh", Morgan says.

"I made the right decision. I'm certain. It's gonna be the two of you and me for a little while. Here you go", I reply, serving the twins breakfast.

"As long as you're happy. Tasty, but we've got to run. We're gonna be late for school. You kind of overslept", Henry responds.

"Nope. How about we go on a trip?"

"Like a vacation?"

"Like I have a new case, and it's in Maine, and it might take me awhile, and I think we should go. It would be an adventure".

"No school? A trip with you? Sold".

"You had me at no school", Morgan says.

"Good, 'cause I already packed", I tell them.

"When do we leave?", Henry asks.

"Now", I respond as Hook knocks on the door.

"Are you expecting someone?"

"Yeah". I open the door to reveal Hook standing outside the door.

"You're ready, Swan?", Hook asks me.

"Henry, Morgan. This is Killian. He's- I'm, uhm. I'm helping him with his case", I say awkwardly to the twins.

"Did you skip bail?", Henry asks Hook.

"Oh, he's still a little spitfire", Hook says.

"Still?"

"He's not a perp. He's a client", I tell the twins.

"Why are you dressed like that?"

"Why are you dressed like that?", Hook counters

"You sure he's not a perp?", Morgan asks.

"Alright, alright. Just make yourself useful, Killian, and get our bags. Henry, Morgan, lend him a hand", I say.

"Wait. We're already going?", Henry asks.

"Like now?", Morgan questions.

"Yes, I just need one last thing", I respond. I walk over to my wardrobe pick up my red leather jacket.

Third Person's POV

"It's really back. I'm really back", I say when we reach Storybrooke.

"As quaint and homey as you remember?", Hook asks me.

"As cursed as I remember".

"That's more like it, isn't it, Swan?", Hook says as he attaches his hook.

"How you gonna explain that to them?"

"Well, that's more your concern. Perhaps it'll jog their memories".

"Or give them nightmares. Last time, this curse took away everyone's memories".

"This time we don't know what it did".

"Then I'll find out. Stay here and watch the twins. Don't wake them or scare them, just let them sleep".

"Aye. Where are you going?"

"To talk to my parents".

But what was unknown to Hook and Emma was that there was a devious green-eyed boy who was staring intently at Emma's car. Well more at the backseat windows, trying to get a glimpse of what, or rather who was inside.

"You WILL be mine. And nobody will ever take you from me ever again", the boy says intently.
