Chapter 50-Iced In

Third Person's POV

After unleashing the snow monster, Snowball, the young woman walks across town towards Mr. Gold's shop to find what she was looking for; her sister, Anna. The woman, Elsa, uses her freaky icy magic to freeze the lock so she could get inside.

"Don't worry, Anna", she says. "I WILL find you. Until we're together no one leaves this town". Using her icy magic, Elsa creates an ice wall which contained the small town.

Morgan's POV

As my sickly sweet family was a little distracted due to the screaming child that was now living in this overcrowded apartment, I decided to sneak out for some fun. I really wish I could get my own place—

"So the princess snuck out from lockdown?", Pan's voice says the moment I step outside. I turn around to come face-to-face with Pan smirking to himself.

"You think it's easy being trapped in that apartment?!", I reply.

"I'm not surprised. Being in there for even a minute would be enough to make me barf".

"Or most people". Suddenly the store lights started flickering before—one by one—they began to go out altogether. Pan pulled me close in order to protect me—and even though I kinda liked being this close and personal with Pan—I broke out of his grasp.

"Hands off, creep. The power just went out, nothing major".

"I just wanted to make sure you weren't scared".

"Uh-huh. C'mon let's get going before Neal or Emma realize I'm not still in that— "

"In the apartment", someone's all too familiar voice finishes, Neal's. I freeze up, not wanting to turn around for I know whose faces I will see once I turn around—Emma and Neal's—which is something I'm definitely not looking forward to. I slowly turn around, hoping I was just imagining the voice, but once I turn around I am able to see their angry faces.

"Hey Neal, Hey Emma", I say awkwardly.

"Well this is just perfect", Pan mutters under his breath.

"I thought I told you to stay in the apartment", Emma says, trying to show authority.

"So? I got bored. What did you expect?", I reply.

"Look, I don't have time for this".

"So you'll leave me alone?"

"You wish. No, you're coming with me", she says, motioning to the cop car behind her.

"Really?", I groan.

"Yes really. Now come on, I've got a crisis to deal with". I be grudgingly follow Emma and Neal to the car, but not before mouthing the words 'call me' to Pan.

Third Person's POV

Emma was no newbie in the world of magic, but upon seeing the huge ice wall that kept everyone inside the confines of the small town shocked her. The tires of Emma's cop car screeched to a stop and she and Neal stepped out of the car, closing their respective doors with a loud thud. They began walking closer to the ice wall where Snow White and Prince Charming, Emma's parents were waiting. Morgan stared out the window, as if she was looking for something, but rather was on the lookout for someone she had seen when Marshmallow had attacked.

"Let's go find who did this", Emma says.

"It looks to me like whoever was putting up the wall wasn't trying to take out the lights. They were just putting up the wall", Neal responds.

"To keep us all in, but why?", David asks.

"That's something we're going to have to figure out", Emma replies.

"So how are things with you know who?"

"Complicated as always. She just pushes everyone away".

"Like mother, like daughter".

"Well everyone except Pan", Neal adds.

"Wait, what's that?", Mary Margaret asks, pointing to something moving near the ice wall.

"You guys wait here, I'm going to check it out", Emma says before walking even closer to the ice wall. But, when Emma got closer, she realized the figure wasn't an unseen person before, it was rather her rebellious daughter, Morgan.

"Morgan?! What are you doing here?", Emma asks.

"I saw something and I wanted to check it out", Morgan replies, inching closer to the ice wall.

"No. Don't go closer to that ice wall!"

"No! Checking it out!" Morgan then disappears behind some ice pillars while Emma is barely making any progress catching up.

Morgan's POV

It didn't take long after ditching Emma to find who I was looking for, a person in a blue dress with white-blonde hair in a side braid. But, this isn't the first time I've seen her. But the real question still remains who is she?

"Who are you?", I demand.

"I'm Elsa", she replies.

"Name's Morgan. So did you make this wall, as well as that snow monster?"

"How did you know that?"

"Let's just say I have an eye for spotting things out of the ordinary. So what are you doing here?"

"I'm looking for my sister, Anna". She shows me a snowflake necklace. "This was hers. I found it in the store full of things". Well that's specific saying that every store in Storybrooke match that excruciating detailed description. But before I could ask her anything else, my family startled Elsa , and before I knew it, I was encased in an icy barrier all alone with Elsa.

"MORGAN!" I hear voices scream from the other side. Well this is just great…just super. Just once can it be like before I was introduced to a world without magic, you know, when I wasn't a part of their lives. And when my definition of normal was much more sane then it is now. Oh yeah, and when I wasn't in love with the same guy who tried to kill me only a year ago…ah, good times.

"No, this cannot be happening", I say to myself. But it was no use, for the fact was I was trapped inside this icy prison and I had no idea on how to get out.

Peter Pan's POV

"Morgan!", I yell.

"It's no use", Neal says flatly. "She can't hear us".

Morgan's POV

"Wow", I say to Elsa, examining the ice structure. "You really know how to make a point, don't you?"

"I'm very powerful, and you and your people, need to be more careful. Keep your distance", Elsa replies.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. What do you mean by me and my people. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you appear just as human as the rest of us".

"No one else has powers like I do. And if you ever want to be free, I suggest you bring me my sister, or else".

"Uh, where do you expect me to look? I'd love to help and all, but if you hadn't noticed, we're kinda trapped in here".

I sat down on the ice, beginning to lose all hope in getting out of here, but then my cell phone rang. I didn't even have to look at my phone to know who was calling, for there's only one person who had that ringtone, Pan. What is the ringtone you may ask, well I'm not about to tell, so I guess you'll have to use your imaginations for that, and no it is not a top 20's song. But, getting back to the story, I picked up Pan's phone call and abruptly answered it.

"Hey", I say.

"Are you okay?", Pan asks.

"What is that?", Elsa demands.

"It's a cell phone", I respond; trying not to piss her off, so she won't turn me into an icicle. "It, uh, let's me talk to my, uh, friend. If you want we can all talk, but you might need to melt your ice wall to do that".

"Tell him to go get Anna".

"Pan listen to me, carefully. I'm trapped in this ice castle with this woman. She's looking for her sister, Anna. She saw a necklace that belonged to her and thinks her sister's in Storybrooke. She wants us to find her—"

"Before I freeze this town and everyone in it", Elsa threatens. Okay then, this is going to be so much fun…

Third Person's POV

Elsa studies Morgan for about a minute before finally approaching the rebellious teenage girl. Morgan was wearing a blue tank top under a black faux leather vest with black skinny jeans and black combat boots, and her long, flowing, brown hair was covered in snowflakes, yet she didn't seem to be shivering at all.

"Aren't you cold?", Elsa asks her. "The cold never bothered me, but it seems to bother everyone else".

"I don't get cold", Morgan responds coldly. She huffs, looking away from Elsa, looking longingly at her locket clasped in her hair.

"That means something to you, doesn't it?"

"Why do you care? You're the one that trapped me in here".

"I was only trying to get my sister's necklace back, it fell in the ice. I didn't mean to trap us in here. Sometimes I just can't control my powers". Morgan sneezes, but rather than just a normal, typical sneeze, she sneezes fire.

"I feel you".

"Wait, you have powers?"

"Yeah. I discovered them not so long ago, and I still can't seem to control when or when not to use them". Morgan sneezes fire again. "Like right now".

"I'd tell you it gets easier, but I'm not going to lie to you. I'm still not totally in control".

"Really? Cause I thought being accidentally trapped inside this ice palace proved otherwise".

"What's wrong?"

"What do you mean?"

"That look in your eyes—the look that says you're unsure of what to do—I know that look all too well. Tell me, it's not like I'm going anywhere".

"Fine. It's like this; there's this guy I kinda sorta really like, but he used to be a villain so my family's not too fond of him and are always trying to keep us apart".

"Being apart from the one you care about is a terrible, terrible thing".

"How do you know?"

"Long ago I hurt my sister with my magic and I didn't see her for many years out of fear I would hurt her again".

"Being separated from my family is something I know too well".

"You're what, sixteen?"

"Yeah, but I was separated from them for fifteen years. Sometimes I have trouble feeling like I even belong here, or in this family. I'm not like them, well most of them anyway". Morgan sneezes fire yet again.

"Being part of a family doesn't mean being exactly like one another, it's all about embracing each other's differences. You're special, you don't need to try to be like everyone else".

Morgan's POV

Luckily, I didn't have to respond to Elsa for my cell phone rang, saving me. But, unfortunately, the person on the other end wasn't Pan, it was my do-good grandfather, aka Prince Charming. Oh, just perfect on a day like today. But, luckily, he only wanted to talk to Elsa. Finally, something today has gone in my favor.

Elsa's POV

I take the strange device from Morgan to talk to whoever was on the other side. "Elsa? How's Morgan? Is she okay?", David asks me.

"She's fine", I reply honestly. "Well besides sneezing fire".

"She what? Elsa, listen to me. I need you to find a way out".

"I need Anna".

"Well, we don't have her right now, but we have a way to find her, and we will, but right now, you're going to have to do this on your own".

"I can't control this".

"I know how you feel. You're trapped. It's a battle you can't win, but it's exactly the kind of battle you have to fight".

"I'll survive".

"But Elsa, survival isn't enough. You have to live".

"Where did you hear that?"

"You know where".

"You knew Anna?"

"Yeah, I did. I don't know much about Anna, but she wouldn't want you to live alone in an ice cave, which is where you will be if you don't melt the ice. Now do it". I exhale before focusing my magic to create a hole in the ice, and after about thirteen seconds, I manage to create a hole big enough for me and Morgan to fit through.

Morgan's POV

After pulling myself through the opening in the opening in the ice, I am swarmed by the people in my family; Emma, Neal, David, Mary Margaret, and Mr. Gold. And quite honestly, I was surprised that Mr. Gold as he is the one person who seems to care less about things than I do.

"Morgan, are you okay?", Emma asks me, brushing a loose strand of hair behind my left ear.

"I'm fine", I say, pushing past her, trying to suppress yet another fiery sneeze.

"What did you mean she was sneezing fire?", David asks Elsa.

"Wait, what?", Neal questions.

"Exactly what it sounds like", Elsa replies.

"Morgan, what is she talking about?", Neal asks me.

"Uh, does that really seem like it could happen?", I reply. But even if they bought it, it was no use, for I couldn't suppress the sneeze any longer and sneezed fire. They all looked at me with odd looks on their faces. "I…uh…gotta go". I focus hard on my magic, trying to transport myself to anywhere but here. "Please work", I say under my breath.

Next thing I knew, I wasn't standing by the ice wall at the edge of town, but rather in the middle of Main Street. But, I wasn't alone, for when I turned around, Mr. Gold appeared in a cloud of purple smoke.
