DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN ONCE UPON A TIME

okay, so I'm sorry this took so long. 2 research papers at once has not really left me much time for important stuff...like fanfiction

also, I couldn't quite decide how I wanted this chapter to end...I finally decided on this one and I hope you like the direction I ended up going with.

so, I've been thinking, and I think that it's about time to introduce some new characters. I want you, my loyal fans, to submit some OCs of your own! Note: they probably won't be main characters (unless I really like them) but Storybrooke really lacks in younger characters, and I want your collaboration to help me introduce some friends for Morgan/Henry

Chapter 59 – Unfinished Business

Morgan's POV

I walk aimlessly around the park after Henry left for his driving lesson with dad. Sure, I was certain that there was someone out here, watching my every move, but I had an even smaller chance at seeing tomorrow by willingly getting into a car that Henry was driving. I mean, I'm not the best driver either, but Henry has a tendency of driving everywhere except the right side of the road and crashes into almost everything. I see something move in the distance, but when I look back over to it, I don't see anything except some bushes. Maybe Henry was right, maybe I was paranoid, but paranoid has kept me alive, and when someone is always trying to kill you in this town, it's good to stay alert. My cell phone rings suddenly, snapping me out of my thoughts, and I answer without bothering to look at the caller id.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Hey, Morgan, it's me. We think we have a way to find Emma, but we'll need your help. Where are you guys? I'll pick you up. With Ingrid out there, it's not safe, especially when she has some sort of plan that involves you." Dad tells me. One thing didn't make sense; he seemed to think Henry was with me, but Henry had just left because he claimed that dad was taking him for a driving lesson. So, either dad was really forgetful or my twin brother was a dumbass and was in the middle of doing something that would undoubtedly get himself killed.

"Henry's not here."

"What do you mean? I thought he was with you."

"He told me that you were taking him driving."

"Okay, stay there, I'm coming. I don't need you going missing as well. So, just stay put until I come to meet you." Dad hangs up frantically and I'm left feeling even more suspicious and paranoid than before. Why did Henry lie to me? What was he really doing? I couldn't help but wonder if Ingrid wasn't the only person that we had to worry about. What if there was someone else out there that had an evil scheme of their own? What if there was someone else that had a score to settle? I think hard about the possibility of me being right about all this when I hear footsteps closing in on me; I don't move, hoping that if I stay motionless that whoever they were would just go away.

"Hello, Morgan." An eerie voice says from behind. I let my grip on my phone loosen, letting it drop onto the ground, shattering the screen, but I didn't care at this moment. There was something familiar about his voice, not familiar in a good way like when you talk to a friend that you haven't seen in a while, but familiar in a bad way like when you run into someone that you wish was dead. I knew that voice, but where?

"Who are you?"

"Turn around. Turn around and look." I slowly turn around to see a former Lost Boy that hated me from the moment I stepped foot on Neverland. I don't know what happened to the Lost Boys after we got here, but I had this feeling like he didn't take the time to track me down just to bury the hatchet; the hatchet is a long way from being buried.

"Rufio."

"Good, you remember."

"What do you want?"

"I want to know what makes you so special. Why Pan chose you. A stupid, little bitch that had no place in Neverland, and yet he chose you over us." I notice former Lost Boys start to surround us as Rufio spoke, and I look down at my hands trying to figure out what the hell I was gonna do. I had magic, yes, but was I strong enough to take on all of them?

"Well, I'd rather be a dumb bitch than a psychotic nutjob, like you."

"You really should learn to bite that tongue of yours."

"If you're gonna kill me, just do it already. I've got better things to do other than hearing some pathetic monologue from a freak like yourself." Rufio snaps his fingers together, and a couple of former Lost Boys come up behind me to secure my wrists with some rope. "You think you're suddenly something now that a few angry Lost Boys are desperate enough for a leader that they'll actually listen to you? You're pathetic. You haven't changed one bit, Rufio. You act all high and mighty, but underneath you're just a worthless sap."

"I'm in control, you're not. You might have fooled Pan into thinking that you were worth his time, but I know what you really are; poison. Take her away, boys." As the two boys attempt to pull me away, I struggle against them, forcing myself not to get pulled backwards. I wasn't done with Rufio yet, and I wasn't going down without a fight. I know that he'll never change, but that didn't mean that I couldn't put that seed of doubt in the minds of these Lost Boys.

"You act like he did, but you'll never be like him. He was a born leader while you have always been a lost soul that needed something to hate. Soon, you're followers will see right through you and then you'll have absolutely nothing, just like before."

"Get her out of here! Get her out of here now!" I notice Rufio start to lose it, and the last thing I see before I was meant with darkness was him throwing a frying pan at my head.

Henry's POV

"Morgan? Morgan?" I silently whisper to my sister. Sure, she was unconscious, but I needed her to wake up if I had any hope in getting out of here alive. We might be twins and I might be the older one out of the two of us, but she was the only one who had magic. "Morgan, come on, wake up." That seems to do it; she gasps awake, mumbling something that I can't understand, but I'm pretty sure it includes getting revenge on Rufio.

"Henry? God, I'm gonna kill that son of a bitch." Morgan declares. I notice some dried blood on her head, but decide not to mention it just in case knowing would freak her out. I know that she might be okay, but it looked to be a nasty cut, so if she freaked, then I would freak out, and if I freaked out, we'd both be unable to do anything to get us free.

"Well, we might need to untie ourselves. Can you do anything with your magic?"

"No. They used one of Pan's cuffs on me so I'm just about as helpless as you. Next time you're gonna do something this insanely suicidal, tell me the truth so that we don't get picked off one at a time."

"I didn't know. I left to look for mom, but Rufio kidnapped me before I was able to find her."

"And then he kidnapped me."

"What does he want?"

"Revenge." Rufio's voice spoke up. Morgan and I turn our heads to see a smug Rufio standing a few feet away from us, smirking in victory. "You see, Henry, everything in Neverland went south when Morgan came, and by the time you came, everything was ruined. Pan might've been blind to it, but I'm not. I'll do what he never could and no one will be able to stop me."

"So, what? You're gonna kill us? Whatever you want, there are other ways to get it. Killing us isn't the answer."

"Who said anything about killing you? But not a bad idea. Originally, I was just gonna kill Morgan since this is all her fault anyway, but killing you would be a bonus. I don't know how you stand her, Henry, she ruins everything. She brings destruction with her, and yet everyone acts like she's some sort of God."

"You wanna blame me? Well, go ahead, blame me. Blame me for the fact that your leader chose me over a bunch of hopeless little shits like yourself. All you ever were was a toy to him, and eventually he got bored. Blame me for the reason of why you're so miserable, for the reason why you feel like you need to prove yourself, but I didn't do any of this. All I did was survive in a place, in a world that I knew nothing about. Pan changed because he wanted to be a different kind of person than he was before, because he wanted something to live for. It's not my fault that he chose a life with me over an unfulfilling life with a bunch of assholes like yourself. I suggest you change as well if you ever want to make any sort of life for yourself because if you can't, you won't have to worry about your future anymore." Morgan replies, venom lacing her words.

"I should've killed you the moment I laid eyes on you."

"If anyone here is gonna die, it'll be you." I watch Rufio sucker punch my sister before walking away in anger. We just sat there in silence for a moment, tied to a tree, not uttering a word to the other. Rufio was unlike any villain we had fought before; he just wanted vengeance on Morgan and I while all the others had only tried to kill us to get to our family.

"You okay?" I ask her after what feels like forever.

"Just all the more reason we need to kill him. You know, he won't just stop at me. Rufio wants to achieve something that's just not possible. Pan once told me that before he met me, he had this desire to kill anyone and everyone. That was his price to be immortal. If Rufio wants to finish what Pan never could, there will be no survivors. He might not be immortal, but in order to accomplish Pan's goal, he'll have to lose all traces of his humanity. To do this, Rufio will become void. It's a spell; I saw it in a spell book Mr. Gold gave me, and if he casts it, there will be no stopping him."

Neal's POV

I go to the park, looking for Morgan and really hoping that she was so busy texting Pan or someone that she ignored my calls. If Emma found out that both Morgan and Henry went missing while I was responsible for them, I'd never hear the end of it. I call her phone once again, but this time I can hear the ring; I follow the sound to find it lying on the ground with my daughter nowhere in sight. This was bad. Very, very, bad. If Morgan was nowhere in sight, that meant that something had happened to her, and if something had happened to her, that was very bad news for Storybrooke.

"Morgan? Come on, please tell me this is a prank." I say to the air, but I don't get any kind of response.

"Mate, did you find her yet?" Hook asks me, finally catching up with me. I still can't stand the pirate, but he was helping look for Emma when I called Morgan, so now he was helping me find the twins.

"She's just gone. I think someone took her."

"How can you be sure? Maybe the lass just wanted some time to herself."

"She wouldn't leave her phone behind like this. Uh, keep looking for Emma, I'll handle this on my own." Truthfully, I just needed Hook out of the way. To find my kids, I needed someone that Hook didn't have the best track record with, but probably the only person who could help.

"Not a chance, mate. My dashing good looks will bring you luck."

"Well, you're not gonna like who you have to work with. This whole thing screams trouble, and to make sure we don't receive the same fate as Morgan and Henry, we're gonna need someone with powerful magic."

"You don't mean?"

"I do. He might not be my favorite person, but he does care a great deal for my daughter and has the magic we need to save her. To save my kids. I get it after everything he's done to you that you don't want to even work with him, but he's the only one who can help at the moment and I'm not gonna wait around while my kids are in danger."

"Call the bloody demon."

Morgan's POV

Rufio had disappeared to do who knows what, leaving Henry and I guarded by a few of his followers, but I know that if I could get these ropes untied, I could get my brother and I out of here. I bring my right knee forward while trying to reach for my brown boot, or rather what was inside of it.

"What are you doing?" Henry whispers.

"There's a dagger in my boot. If I can reach it, I can get us the hell out of here." I tell my incredibly confused brother. I reach for the dagger time and time again, but I couldn't quite get it. However, maybe Henry could. "I can't reach it, you grab it."

"I don't know how to use it."

"The pointy end cuts the rope. Now shut up and grab it before someone notices that I have a weapon in my boot." I bring my boot as close as I can to Henry's left hand, and after what feels like a lifetime of him pathetically struggling to reach it, he finally grasps the dagger, pulling it out of my boot.

"I got it!" It's a good thing that the boys guarding us are complete morons cause otherwise we would have been caught by now, left trying to think of a new plan. I guess I can't be too surprised though; most of them were bad lookouts as Lost Boys, so what chance do they have under Rufio's influence?

"Great, now cut the rope before Rufio comes back. Right now, all we have is a dagger to defend ourselves against a bunch of angry former Lost Boys. If we want to have any chance at survival, we have to have the element of surprise which means you need to shut up and cut us loose before one of these morons decides to actually give us the time of day." Henry finally listens to reason and ever so slowly cuts us free.

"Hey! They cut the rope!" One of the boys yells after Henry not so subtly gets up, making a lot of unnecessary noise, getting the attention of everyone in the area.

"Now what?" I lean down and grab the collapsible sword from my boot, in one swift moment flicking my wrist, allowing the sword to become its actual size once again.

"We fight." I reply, slashing Rufio's minions left and right while Henry was still holding my dagger like a foreign object. How again are we related? We have the same smile, but everything else was as though we were from two different planets.

"How many weapons do you have on you?!"

"Two people have already tried to kill me, I'm not gonna leave myself unprotected, and it's good for you that I stopped wearing high tops!" Finally, Henry starts fighting beside me, but we were still outnumbered by far. Someone stabs me in the side with a makeshift spear, and I was so grateful that they no longer had any dreamshade to poison me with cause if they did, then I'd be dead in minutes.

"MORGAN!" Henry goes into this rage, something I've never seen from him before, kicking ass against our enemies, but soon they overpower him and we're left exhausted, injured, and fighting for our lives. Two against ten were not good odds, but neither of us were willing to give up the fight. "Got any ideas?"

"Survive. But if I die…"

"Don't say that, we'll get out of this. I may not have magic and I still kinda suck with a sword, but I will get us out of here alive, I promise."

"Then we're definitely doomed."

"We've come back from the dead, we can survive this."

"Oy! I ask that you leave these two fine folk alone! I think it be about time that we let them go, don't ya think?" A voice calls out, causing all of us to stop fighting and look at the mysterious, cowboy hat wearing stranger.

"Now's not the time to play hero cowboy, Freddy! If you aren't gonna help recapture them before Rufio gets back, then scram." Another boy shouts back. The mysterious boy, Freddy, winks at me before grabbing hold of a vine, barreling into our captors in one strike, kind of like bowling. I can't help but smile at the brown haired boy, gazing into those honey orbs. I don't know what, but there was something special about him, and I intend to find out what.

"Come on, they won't stay down for long." I take a step away from the tree, but immediately grimace due to spear wound in my side; it wasn't fatal, but it sure hurt like a bitch. "Hey, you okay? You don't look good."

"I may have gotten a little hurt, but I'll be okay." I tell him.

"Maybe, but you're sure as hell not getting far anytime soon in this condition, and time is the one thing we don't have." Before I can protest, he picks me up bridal style and starts running away from Rufio's assholes, Henry closely following. As he runs with me, my vision gets all blurry and I suddenly see myself being carried by Peter.

"Peter? Don't let me die." I say to my true love

"Just hold on, Princess, I won't let you die. I promise."

"Why does it take me getting hurt for you to talk to me?"

"Because I'm far from perfect. I'll never be perfect, love, but I will always be there for you when it really matters. I love you, Morgan."

"You're perfect for me."

Peter Pan's POV

"I can't believe that you let your daughter get kidnapped, Baelfire." I tell him as I look for tracks to follow. While I would love to do a simple locator spell, if whoever had her had magic, they would know what we were doing long before I could find her.

"I didn't let her get kidnapped, Pan. She and Henry were together and someone picked them off one by one. Maybe instead of blaming me for something I can't control, you can actually find her before it's too late." Neal shoots back.

"Ingrid's out there and wants Morgan. This is your fault."

"Mates, arguing is going to get us nowhere. As much as I can't stomach Pan myself, he's the only one that has any chance of finding them." Hook tells us. I want to rip him apart very slowly and painfully, and I'm damn close to it, but I remind myself that I don't just kill people for the fun of it anymore.

"Mind shutting it and drowning your opinions with rum?"

"Don't give me a reason to bury this hook inside your body."

"I'd like to see you try." Before I could teach the pirate a lesson, Neal's phone rang until he picked it up.

"Hello?" Neal said into the phone. "Henry, oh god, I'm so glad you're okay. How's Morgan? She's what? How did it happen? Okay, okay, I'll be right over, just stay put." I tense at what I heard; what happened to Morgan?

"What happened to her?" My voice is unusually soft and quiet, but I didn't give a damn if I appeared as weak in front of Neal and Hook, I just cared that she was okay.

"She's at the hospital. Henry wouldn't say what exactly happened, but he did say that she got pretty hurt." My heart felt like this heavy lump in my chest when I heard the news. This wasn't supposed to happen, she wasn't supposed to get hurt. I was supposed to keep her safe, that's the reason why I've been staying away from her, but I failed her.

Morgan's POV

I slowly open my eyes to find myself lying in a hospital bed and Pan passed out in a chair at my bedside. Okay, how long has he been here and how did he even find out that I got hurt? I let my hand wander to where I had gotten stabbed, but instantly pull back when I wince in pain; I guess I had been injured pretty bad.

"Hey, you're up." A voice says. I turn my head to see my dad leaning next to me with a worried expression plastered on his face.

"Dad? How long have I been—what happened?" I ask. I remember the situation with Rufio, but after getting stabbed, I'm not quite sure what really happened.

"Well, for one, we found your mother. As for you, that's something that you need to tell me. Henry didn't tell me anything, and you've been out for a couple days. Whale said you should be fine, but you're gonna be sore for a while. What happened?"

"Someone attacked us. I didn't see their face though." I lie. My parents couldn't find out what really happened, they would totally freak out and then I'd have even less freedoms than I already have now.

"Let me know if you remember anything, okay kid? In the meantime, take it easy for a while. Also, and I know that the last thing you want is my dating advice, especially when it's dating advice involving Pan, but he was really worried about you. I don't know what's going on with you two, but you should hear him out." When dad walks away, I see this yellow ribbon tied around my left wrist; I try to pull off the dang thing, but for some reason it wouldn't come off, and something told me there was a reason for that, and it wasn't a good feeling.
