This is the fourth chapter of Harry's first year. Enjoy.
Vernon grumbles and sits in his favorite chair when the doorbell rings. Petunia looks at the door in shock and looks back to her husband.
"Vernon dear did you invite your sister over and forget to inform me?" she asks in a confused voice. He shakes his head, confused as well.
"Maybe it one of Dudley's friends coming over to play or something." He says as he steps towards the door. Dudley runs into the room when Vernon opens the door to see an ancient looking old man standing there with two people behind him.
"Good morning-" the door was slammed in his face before he could get another word out.
The three men stepped back in fear of an angered Petunia. Harry glares at the door angered that someone made his aunt mad. He takes a step towards the door and open it. The man with greasy looking hair has walked down the sidewalk and looks to be laughing while the older looking woman helps the ancient looking man up from the ground.
"Severus his nose is still bleeding." She screams in a panic. Harry looks around and sees the neighbors light are still off. The unknown woman is still screaming at the man now named Severus.
"Please keep your voice down the neighbors are still asleep and you are going to wake them." He says catching all three of them off guarded. He can hear his uncle trying to calm his aunt down when his cousin points out that they are going to be off schedule. The ancient man walks up to him as his aunt places her arm on his shoulder.
"Now hello my dear" he speaks to Petunia and looks down at Harry "And hello my boy you look just like your father." He ruffles up Harry's finely brushed locks that his aunt spent a good twenty minutes doing. "Will you let us in we wish to explain to Harry what" he was cut off by Petunia.
"Hold it you come here out of the blue and expect me to serve you." She pulls Harry back inside. "Dudley go get my brush, Vernon dear can you get the checklist. Come on Harry I have to redo your hair." She sits him down and, in a chair, and starts brushing. She looks up and see the three still waiting outside.
"Come on in, I don't need the neighbors calling the cops again." The three come inside and try to speak to Harry.
"Harry my boy, I am excited that we will be taking you to get your supplies and I know you will love Hogwarts just like your father. You have no idea how much you look like him." All Harry step back and try to block him till his aunt to him to hush.
Harry looks over and sees the Older looking woman talking to Dudley and it seems Dudley was tight-lipped for once. He looks at the stranger called Severus. He sees him walking around the house looking at photos of his family. Some photos even have him in them.
"I see you only had one child Tunia." He says still looking at the photos of the smiling family. Petunia freezes and glares at Dumbledore.
"The night I found Harry I was pregnant, but it was a sensitive case. After learning that your younger sister was murdered, and you now have to raise your nephew." She stops finishing Harry's hair. "What do you think happened Sev." She bites back. When she looks, up she sees a shock and angry look on his face.
"I apologize Petunia I had no idea. Albus, you could have waited a few months to explain that to her." Severus says in a calm tone.
"Well, you see there was no" He was cut off by Petunia with a ha.
"He did explain anything to me or Vernon we found Harry outside our door after we got back from the hospital." Vernon walks in with the list.
"Ready to go," he says, grabbing the key. Dudley and Harry rush out of the house to the car. Vernon hops in and waits for Petunia.
"Alright get out." Albus stands up and marches up to her.
" No Petunia Harry needs to come with us." Petunia looks at him as if he has gone crazy.
"I will spell it out for you. I will be taking my nephew shopping for his supplies." She walks out in front of them. "Now get out except you Severus can you do me a favor?" she asks him already knowing he will. "Well you see Harry and 's relationship is strained, and he wants to know more about his parents, so I was wondering" Albus steps in.
"Do not worry My dear, I will tell him all about his family." She hushes him a and turns back to Severus.
"Can you tell him a bit about his mother and maybe watch out for him as well." She turns back to Albus. "And if he writes me about one bad thing happening at the school, I will not hesitate and beware I do have friends in the magical world."
With that, she gets into the car and it's gone, speeding down the road.
