This is the sixth chapter of Harry's first year. Enjoy.
After the first day of class.
"This place is amazing. I've never thought I would be attending a school as amazing this place." Harry looks around in complete wonder at the magic that surrounds Hogwarts. "I even made some friends. I've never had friends before!" He nearly squeals out in excitement.
"They are a little strange. Ron doesn't like anything dark, but I love the dark." He sees that Harry is a bit shy on what to say next. "He says that to be dark is to be evil and that all Slytherin are evil but that can't be right. I mean Draco is super nice a little spoiled but nice and Hermione is smart." His face is an open book. "I mean super smart how did she even know a spell as a Muggle-born." The man looks away curious as to how a muggle-born witch knew the first-year spell before classes even really started as well.
"Um sir may I ask but why did you want to see me?" Harry asked in a confused voice." I mean it is wonderful talking to you. No adult has ever done that for me but still, you're not my head of house and I didn't do anything wrong in potions. So why?"
"Well Harry you see your mother for the longest time was my best friend I wanted to get to know you better and when we are in private you may call me Severus." replied a calm Severus Snape.
"Of course, Pro-um I mean Severus. A comfortable silence forms between the two Before Harry spoke again. "Can you tell me about my Mom." He asks as if he would be punished for doing so. "I mean you don't have to," He replies back before Severus could answer. "It's just no one will tell me anything about her. All they talk about is my dad, but I would love to learn about them both." He says with his head down waiting for the no to come but.
"I would love to Harry." Harry looks up in shock. "But" You can see the sadness grow in his eyes. "I don't know much about your Father because we weren't friends." And relief floods the beautiful green eyes." But I'll tell you all you wish to know. You can come by on Fridays for tea if you like and we can talk. Severus says lightly not really expecting Harry to agree.
"Yes, Severus I would like that and um" Harry's face starts to turn an adorable shade of red. "Can I come by on another day to just talk sir. He asks wringing his hands with worry.
"Yes, harry you may and if you ever get lost trying to get here you can ask an upper year Slytherin for help," Severus says making a mental reminder to making sure to give the heads up to his snakes.
"You should be heading to bed now Harry. Let walk you to your dorm." Severus stood up and watches a now every sleepy first year wake up just enough to answer.
"Yes, Severus and I'm happy I met you." Severus stop suddenly causing Harry to look around and realized there were outside the Gryffindor dorms.
"Get to bed young man and I shall see you tomorrow."
Harry looks up happily at Severus
"Thank you, Professor Snape and good night."
Severus smiles down at the tired child "and good night to you Harry sleep well."
When Severus see Harry has made it into the tower he walks to the headmaster's office to give that man a piece of his mind. "A mini James Potter you say. A child that is give everything he could ever desire." By the time he has made it the office. "Sweet cluster" barely holding in his anger. Severus walks in to see Minerva and Albus talking.
Albus speak first
"Ah, my boy what brings you up here." He says in his grandfatherly act.
"I have come here to speak about Harry Potter and" but he cut off by Minerva
"oh come off it Severus it's the boys first day you can't possibly be here to try and have him expelled that fast can you."
She gives him an all-knowing look even when she knows nothing.
"And don't think I haven't heard of the detention you gave him today. Still glaring at him "In fact, it's the reason I came to Albus because it is highly unfair, and you know it."
"I don't remember giving Harry a detention and if I do give him one it will be for a good reason." He may see Harry as a nephew he won't let him get away with anything just like Draco. "If you had let me speak you would know" but once again she interrupts.
"If that is true then why did Mr. Potter come to the dorm late and don't lie to me. I had a house elf watching for him." She tries to stand to intimidate him as if he were still a student.
"Minerva interrupt me one more time and I will silence you. " his wand poking out his sleeve.
"SEVERUS was that a threat." She looks surprised "No Minerva it wasn't but I will literally put a silencing spell on you got it. Severus states back with his glare on it worst. Minerva finally gets the picture and sits down.
"Now as I was saying Harry joined me for tea after dinner and we talk."
"May I ask what about" Albus looks serious at Severus. "Just about his childhood, how he is doing at Hogwarts, how his relatives where at nightmare compared to mine, how he doesn't know a lick about magic or his parents for that matter. Thankfully they have started to change." His voice grew loud somewhere came back down to his usual calm tone.
"Albus what is he talking about" shrieked Minerva. Albus backs away from his desk as Minerva comes closer. "Now Minerva this just a misunderstanding." he tries to calm her down, but she isn't having no of that.
"I shall leave you to handle that I have to make sure all my snakes are well prepared for class tomorrow." Severus is halfway out the door when he says that. "I wonder how they got the chance to hurt him so bad if you were watching over him., well good night." He shuts the door leaving Albus to his fate.
Harry meets Draco and befriends him before the train, Severus notices the abuse and Harry still in Gryffindor, some people's emotions maybe push to the extreme and others may be brought down a bit. Bye bye
