This is chapter twenty-four of Harry's first year. I don't own any of the characters except for the ones I do own Enjoy.
"I can't believe he did that." Draco glared at the ceiling as Harry informed him of what Ron told the headmaster.
"He's still annoying as before but at least we won't have to see him until summer." He laughs while starting at the ceiling alongside Draco.
"True" Harry sat up and walked over to his chest. He pulls out a large bag of chocolate frogs.
"Happy Yule Draco." Draco smile while throwing Harry a bag around the same size.
"Happy Yule Harry" the sit laughing at the late yet still welcomed present from each other.
"You got me books, Harry, how could you," Draco whined out.
"Oh, stop crying you got me some too and yours is on Dragons and Quidditch." He laughs when the blonde popped up.
"Well, your is on Nicolas Flamel and Alchemy." He turns his nose up but still watches as Harry's eyes pop open in joy.
"Really awesome I can't wait to start reading." Draco grabs the book
"After Lunch"
"but"
"After lunch" the look in the Malfoy eyes said this wasn't up for a debate.
"Fine but after lunch you will let me read as much as I want."
"An hour"
"Three hours"
"An hour" the left the common room a few minutes later still arguing.

Severus poked his head into the common area to see both boys laid around the fire reading some interesting books. He stepped away letting the door close and head back to his office when he got an emergency meeting announcement. It takes him less than five minutes to make it to the teacher lounge.
"Good evening everyone." Severus takes his seat beside Filius and Poppy. "What have I missed."
"Nothing yet Minerva and the old coot haven blessed us with there presents." Pomona leans back in her seat trying to relax. "Honesty I'm betting we aren't even needed here. He just called this meeting to waste time."
"We are already done preparing for the students return. So, I have no idea why we're here?" One of the random teacher Severus hadn't bothered to learn the name of says.
"I have two children sprawled out in my common room so I need to hurry back in case they need me." He goes to stand up when the Albus and Minerva come in.
"Good evening everyone." Albus ignores the glares directed at him and Minerva.
"So Albus what took you so long." He gives of his grandfather smile to everyone. only Minerva notice the glaring getting worse but she chooses to ignore them.
"Last night Ron Weasley informed me that Draco Malfoy was looking for the mirror of Erised." Gasps fill the room as Severus glare intensified. "Ronald informed me Young Malfoy convinced them to follow him even after he said no.
"If that is so then why did Harry follow" Severus sneered at them. "Unless you forgot Harry Ms. Lovegood and Mr. Conrad were there." He smirks when he sees the anger flash in his eyes before he calmed down.
"Harry followed because he didn't want to laugh at for not being Gryffindor enough." Albus and Minerva nodded. "Ronald said something about Draco picking on Harry. Honestly, Severus, you needed to control your house better." Minerva smile but freezes when she notices how everyone was muffling their laughter.
"Albus I promise you my house is respectful to everyone, unlike many lions I have taught over the years," Severus smirks again as Minerva was ready to defend her house when an alarm went off. Albus stands up panic in his eyes.
"It the Mirror alarm" He and Minerva rush from the room with Severus right behind him.

Draco watched him remove the cloak "Where are you going?"
"For a walk, I needed time to think." Draco nodded to him and promised to hunt him down if he's not back by dinner. Draco grabbed his broom and head out to the pitch field where all the professors wouldn't be.
Harry walked down trying to forget the fact that he had seen his parent and how sad it made him feel. Even with to photos, stories or items they had that his uncle had given him it wasn't enough. He kept walking till he came across a strange room.
"Where am I?" He looked around but didn't see any familiar around. "So, I'm lost but at least Draco will come looking if I don't turn up for dinner." He focuses back on the strange door. Twisting the nob but it won't turn. "What's up with this stupid" The door flies open and against Harry's better judgment he enters the room. Standing tall in the center of the dark room was the mirror.
"Oh, not this thing again." He looks around seeing books form from the darkness. "Okay, that's strange but not as strange as you." He walks up to the mirror this time seeing himself. "What happened to my parents?"
"Do you wish to see them?"
"Wait where did that come from." He jumps looking around the empty room until his eyes fell upon himself.
"Well do you wish to see them?" It asked again in a smooth yet cold voice.
"No, I don't want to see them" He gets closer to the mirror.
"Than what do you want"
"I want to know about Nicolas Flamel" He stares at the mirror standing tall.
"That's not true "Harry shiver at the piercing green eyes. Had his eyes always been that green?
"I want to know about the philosopher's stone." He watches as the Harry in the mirror twist and spins.
"Why" it gazes at him gently lowing himself to the floor and Harry follows its movement.
"Because I don't want it to be used by anyone but Nicolas Flamel and his wife." The copy smiles gently at him and slowly removed the stone from thin air and placed it in his pocket.
"Here is the stone Harry Potter do you know why you received it" It smiles at him again.
"Because you can only receive if you want to give it away and I want to return the stone to Nicolas Flamel" It was asked as a question but Harry knew he was right.
"Good now it time for you to go Harry Hurry" the mirror Harry fades away leaving Harry alone in the dark room.
"I better get out of here." He leaves the room and makes it down the Hall before the door slams shut never noticing the professors running to the door.

"Albus why was the mirror outside the room." Filius, Pomona, and Severus stand behind the furious Minerva as she screams at the Headmaster. They may have been annoyed at how she was acting but they all agree Albus screwed up again.
"Minerva I was going to hide it but." She cut him off scream about there are no buts
"You should have had it in the safe area but instead it was where children could find it." Pomona all but screamed at the cowering man.
"Isn't this what the children found the first time" Filius pointed out.
Severus left the room allowing the others to finish screaming at him. He had two First years to check on. He walks up to the common room entrance when the door opens.
"Uncle Sev" Both boys jumped when they saw their uncle standing in front of the entry.
"Where are you two headed." He questions them with a look that says I dare you to lie.
"We were headed to the owlery to send off an item that doesn't belong to use." Harry looks up at Severus' eyes begging Severus to not make him explain.
"Make sure you're at Dinner within twenty minutes got it." They nod and run off as fast as their little feet could carry them. He laughs and heads to the great hall to create an alibi for his two trouble making nephews. "Thank goodness Neville wasn't here." He enters the great hall.
