Kuro: Well...I have just finished exams, but I lack motivation. This story isn't going too far here I guess but oh well. I thank those who do follow it ((If there are any)) and I will continue to update. Please Read and Review!
~~ ...~~
Kurochibara felt as if she was in the deepest pits of the ocean, drowning in dark clear waters slowly as she watched the colours of the rainbow disappearing one by one the deeper she goes( This is a true fact, the deeper a person goes under water, they start losing their sight for colours in the order of the rainbow. I feel so smart now~). She could feel the pressure being put on her, blocking her ears. She struggles for air and begins to flail her arms aimlessly, hoping to swim back up to a light that was distancing itself.
'The choice is yours' a soft, soothing voice said in the back of her head. It continued to echo in her mind. What choice was the voice talking about? She wasn't sure. She persistently swung her arms but the more she did so, the further she got away from the light. Giving up, she stopped struggling, and allowed fate to take her away. She felt like she was free falling from the sky now, head first.

Kurochibara jolts up. Awake. Alive. In cold sweat but breathing, more like panting as if she had run a marathon. Looking around her, she realizes she is in a room. On a double bed. She wracked her mind to try and remember what happened, gripping her hair with her right hand. Nothing. She swung her feet off the side of the bed , standing up quickly but the sudden movement causes her to crumble down to the floor. She grabbed onto the edge of the bedside table in hopes of it helping her but it falls over with her creating a loud 'Bang'. The room was spinning around her as she blinked a couple of times to try and gain her bearings once more. However, before she could do so, she heard footsteps rushing towards the room when suddenly the door slams open, allowing for light to filter in, temporarily blinding her. She brought up her arm to block the light when she see's male silhouettes by the doorway. Two come rushing towards her, kneeling down next to her.
"Are you okay?! Did something happen?" Her eyes widened. She recognized that voice. The light of the room turned on, letting her see the people more clearly, and that is when a rush of memories entered her mind. She was in the world of Ouran High school host club! It was Kaoru and Mori who rushed to her, followed by Hikaru and Honey who walked over. Kaoru was kneeling down with a hand on her shoulder, eyes filled with worry and concern. Kuro looked towards the fallen table and looked back, as if explaining what happened with her eyes. It worked. Kaoru visibly sighed, and hugged her. Mumbling about how worried they had been. She didn't know what to do. She greatly disliked being touched in any way but seeing that it was because of her that they've worried, she wondered whether to hug back or not, so she settled with a simple, awkward pat to his back. When they parted, she looked at each of the hosts one by one, trying to read them. They seemed genuinely worried.
"Sorry...I'm sorry..." Kurochibara said as she lowered her head. At a situation like this, what emotions should she feel? What emotion would she feel? There was a whole mixture in the pit of her stomach confusing her mind.
"Well...Now that you're awake, how bout we all begin our meals hm?" Kyoya started, breaking a short, peaceful silence.
They begin to walk out , making their way to the dining table. Kaoru stayed beside her crouching form.
"How long have I been out?" She asked. She needed to know to understand which part of the anime they were in.
"Just 2 hours. We waited for you to wake up so we could start eating." He smiled sweetly getting up and offering her a hand. She looks up at it and pats it away before standing up on her own slowly as to not feel dizzy all over again. She steadied her self and began walking out with Kaoru on her tail. She wasn't used to such kindness, and she believed she didn't deserve it. Outside the room was Hikaru, waiting for his brother patiently. They quietly lead her towards the dining room, sneaking glances at each other every now and then. By the time they reached, they saw Tamaki stomping out and Haruhi later on walks out heading for the bathroom. Kuro sighs in relief of not changing that much of the story and sits on a chair looking at the appetizing high class meal. She glanced around to find everyone else eating in silence, only the clattering cutleries could be heard.
"Um...What exactly happened...?" She awkwardly asked. " Tamaki and Haruhi are fighting. I don't blame the king though, Haruhi needs to apologize." Hikaru stated. He turned to her slowly with an accusing glint in his eyes. " What about you? Why did you go against them all?" She stayed quiet, trying to find the correct words to use.
" I...It was on impulse? I guess? I saw Haruhi dangling over the hill, and I couldn't help it.." she said quietly, looking down at her food blankly. Why would they care anyway?
"It was still a careless thing to do Kuro... We were all worried, especially when we realized you weren't with us anymore..." Kaoru said, a look of shame crossing his features. He covered his face in his hands. " I feel horrible for forgetting you." He muttered into his palms. His sentence wasn't unheard for Kuro snapped her head up surprised. They were worried? They cared? Kaoru peeked through his fingers and smiled at your reaction. "You remind me of how Hikaru and I were before we became hosts. We were always alone then, and we regret living our lives that way, I don't want you to go through that too, so open up! We know that its only been a few weeks , but know that we'll always be there for you." His smile grew. Kuro was in shock, they obviously observed her while she was there. Warmth spread in her chest. She suddenly felt a large palm on her head. Looking up she saw Mori ruffling her hair in care. He nodded, giving a small smile and then picked her up, putting her on his shoulder. She squealed in surprise as she was lifted up causing the rest to laugh.
"I think Mori is trying to tell you he's here for you too! Usa-chan and I as well!". Honey exclaimed happily. Kuro glanced at each of them who looked happy in their own way and smiled as well, even if it was of the smallest smiles, a person could tell that her joy reached her eyes and was as genuine as it could have gotten.
"Thank you all for everything. I'm happy to be here with you." She whispered shyly, each word getting louder as she spoke. A full on grin on her face causing Mori to blush. Hikaru whispered something to Kaoru which resulted in both smirking mischievously. She looked at them suspiciously but brushed it off and questioned, " Would you call this warmth in my chest love?" She cocked her head to the side in a curious manner. Everyone in the room slightly blushed and gave each other looks.
"Ahem." Hikaru coughed awkwardly, looking away. " It depends...Do you feel happy...?" he asked.
"Who do you feel this warmth towards?" Kaoru questioned.
Kuro shook her head before saying " I feel this warmth towards all of you. Like a...a...family...?" They look at her shocked. Does she truly not know? Kaoru began laughing as the rest turned to him in confusion.
Mori puts Kuro down as Kaoru walks over to them still laughing. He stops when he is infront of her and ruffles her hair playfully. " You can be the little sister we never had!" He stated, hugging her tightly. He let go of her.
Hikaru walked over with a hop in his step, "Welcome to the family!" He exclaimed, laughing. Kuro felt a sense of relief wash over her. Her breathing sped up and she tried to stop tears prickling her eyes.
Suddenly, clapping could be heard from the back. Kyoya stood there amused at the show infront of him. " You have no need to lock yourself in your own mind Miss Yamiumi." He spoke proudly. Tamaki and Haruhi appeared behind him. Tamakis hands blocked Haruhis ears protectively, probably from the loud thunder that no one in the room noticed previously.
Haruhi took his hands off cautiously and Tamaki spread his arms wide, " Join our big happy family!" He announced extravagantly.
Kurochibara was beyond happy yet confused. She knew they couldn't be faking it, she was in an anime! But would they really accept her this easily? She didn't want to believe it. She couldn't. But she was always one to look for the truth, and this seems to be it. All these few weeks, they developed a family relationship.
Tamaki was protective and was truly what people call a 'fatherly figure' in his own way for each person.
Kyoya was in charge of budgets which makes him the true 'father' of the family. However since Tamaki already took that title, Kyoyas the uncle on Kuros list.
Haruhi was a big sister or the mother that controls the father and has a kind and caring nature as well as her maturity. Hikaru and Kaoru are the mischievous twin older brothers of hers who are also protective yet love teasing her.
Honey was the cute younger brother who she feels responsibility towards.
Mori was... What was he to her? The responsible brother? Another uncle? Whichever is alright right?
But is this truly the love of family? Shouldn't it take longer to love in general? Was she too off guard that they managed to peel off each of her protective layers? Kurochibara began to feel dizzy again. Her head was spinning and she was losing control of her body. Her ears were ringing with each heart beat that pounded through her skull. Her sight blurred as she tipped over sideways. Mori was the first to reach her. His lips were moving right infront of her yet only distant noises were heard. She was losing consciousness. Everyone else but Kaoru and Honey ran out to call for help. She started to feel like she was falling deeper and deeper into the pits of the abyss, blending in with the darkness that had befallen her slowly and silently. Nothing could be seen or heard.
