Stiles POV- Stiles stood looking up at the arrival board not knowing what else to do. A train ticket slid across the floor to stop at his feet.
"Stiles. Stiles." Stiles looked up hearing Selene call his name.
"Selene?" Stiles said looking around.
"Attention all passengers the train will be arriving in 25 minutes" the announcer said.
"Selene?" Stiles said as he tried to look around the people who got up for the train.
"Stiles."
"Selene?!" Stiles yelled searching for her as the crowd got larger it was getting harder to see.
"Stiles where are you? Stiles?"
"Selene wait!" Stiles pushed through the bustle of people trying to find Selene.
"Stiles look at me. Stiles!"
Then a gun shot rang out cause the people to stop and back away from the shooter.
"Give the boy some room."
"Dad? Dad" Stiles smiled and met his dad halfway and hugged him.
"Oh God. Oh I found you I can't believe I found you" his dad said smiling.
"Dad I can hear Selene. I think… I think I can get to her. I think she can get us out of here" Stiles said.
Then they heard a horse coming down the dark tunnel.
"You need to get out of here. Don't worry about me" his dad said taking a step away from him.
"What are you kidding?" Stiles asked. "Go. Get help find your friends find your… mate and get help."
"Yeah and what about you?"
"We'll find each other again."
The horse was getting closer.
"Dad?"
"Stiles, I'll hold them back. Now get the hell out of here. Go. Go!"
Stiles looked at his dad then he turned and ran. He jumped down on to the tracks heading down the tunnel. First he walked then he started running. A portal of light opened in front of him.
"Stiles please. Stiles."
He could hear Selene's voice coming from the portal so he walked toward it pushing his way through.
"Keep going Stiles come back to me. I can see you don't stop Stiles" Selene urged as he fought to get through the portal.
Selene POV- When Selene opened her eyes there was a bright white light blinding her. When she was able to look she saw a person inside the light walking toward her it was Stiles she knew it was Stiles.
Then the light faded and there was nothing.
"Stiles?" Selene said softly.
"Selene?" Scott said beside her.
"You saw that right? Saw him? Where is he?"
"We didn't see anyone" Malia said.
Both Scott and Lydia shook their heads neither of them saw anything either.
"He was here Stiles was here I know it" Selene said standing up.
Stiles POV- Stiles jerked up and he was no longer in the train station or surrounded by white light. He was in his Jeep he returned to the place where he was taken from.
The only difference from then and now was that now Selene wasn't with him. Stiles would just have to find her then and he drove off in his Jeep.
Selene POV- Suddenly Liam ran into the bunker.
"Liam" Scott said surprised.
"There's something you need to see" Liam said.
"You're still here" Scott said not hearing Liam.
"But everyone else is gone all of them. They're all gone. Look you have to come with me" Liam said.
"What is it?"
"I can't explain it I have to show you."
"Uh alright you guys stay here just in case" Scott said.
"In case Stiles comes back?" Malia asked.
"If there's any hope you need to keep trying" Scott said before he left with Liam.
When the door to the bunker closed a breeze brought in a soft scent teasing Selene's nose. Closing her eyes Selene drew in a deep breath and smiled. Selene turned to go.
"Where are you going?" Lydia asked.
"I'm going to find Stiles."
Once out of the bunker Selene lifted her nose to the air and drew in a breath. Then she began to hunt for her mate.
Stiles POV- Stiles first drove to Scott's house looking for him or anyone.
"Scott? Scott?" Stiles called out as he searched the house but there was no one there.
Next Stiles ended up going to the police station but it to was deserted. So Stiles then drove to the hospital.
Selene POV- Selene followed the scent to the high school parking lot. However Stiles' Jeep was no longer there. Selene smiled to herself.
"Where did you drive off too?"
So again she followed the scent. It led her to Scott's house and then the police station. As Selene followed the scent around town she saw train tracks all over the place.
She was afraid it meant they were running out of time. Finally the strongest scent led toward the hospital she was so close just a few minutes behind him.
Stiles POV- "I'll have a true Alpha by my side, then a banshee, a were-coyote…" some guy said to Scott.
"A Stiles?"
"A what?"
Stiles hit the guy with his bat hard.
"Bad guy right? I didn't misread that? Oh god" Stiles stepped around the guy he hit as he groaned and started to get up.
Scott then threw Parrish at the guy knocking him down again. Stiles dropped his bat and quickly walked over to Scott and hugged him.
"Oh man it's so good to see you" Stiles said hugging Scott.
"Hey hey hey" Liam said patting his arm for attention.
"Big Liam. It's so good to see you too" Stiles said hugging Liam.
"Yeah no yeah good to see you Stiles but uh…" Liam said pointing back to Parrish.
He was up and looking pissed and fiery.
"Okay yeah we should go go go" Stiles said as Parrish roared unleashing his flames.
"We need to find Selene. She can handle a super Nazi werewolf and Parrish" Liam said.
"No we can handle Parrish I just need… Plus we don't need to find Selene" Stiles said rambling as they ran through the hospital Stiles leading them to something.
"Uh why not?" Scott asked.
"Because I know she'll…"
"Found you" Selene said when Stiles turned the corner.
She was standing at the end of the hallway.
"Find me" Stiles finished.
Slowly Stiles walked toward her it was like seeing her for the first time. Selene walked towards Stiles knowing she felt the same way he did racing heart beat and goose bumps along the skin.
They didn't stop walking until they were in each other's arms kissing. Kissing like they were the only people there like nothing else in the world mattered they just kissed.
"Uh guys? Hellhound?" Liam said.
"I've missed you" Selene said smiling.
Stiles smiled and kissed her again.
"Guys!" Scott yelled.
Taking her hand Sties ran back down the hall and into one of the rooms looking for a way to bring down Parrish.
"Can't believe I'm gone a couple days and the whole place falls apart" Stiles said.
"Stiles, you were gone for three months" Selene said softly.
"What? Okay if they don't let me graduate I swear to god…" Stiles said going into another room.
"What are you looking for?" Liam asked.
"Ah, this" Stiles said bring out a can of liquid nitrogen.
"And him" Stiles said as Parrish walked down the hallway towards them.
"Grab him. Grab him now" Stiles said.
Both Scott and Liam grabbed Parrish and pushed him against the wall and Stiles sprayed him with nitrogen.
"Okay" Stiles said as the flames died.
Liam was screaming wiping his hands on his shirt.
"God ow!"
"Liam you're fine" Stiles said.
"God that doesn't feel good you know?" Liam said.
"Stiles? What are you doing here?" Parrish asked.
"Buddy love you but we're way past that okay? You gotta fill us in what's going on?" Stiles asked taking charge making Selene grin.
"Douglas. He's merging the worlds so the Ghost Riders can cross over" Parrish said.
"Yeah he wants his supernatural army in our world" Liam said.
"How do we stop him?" Scott asked.
"The train it's coming" Parrish told them.
"Okay and how do we stop that?" Scott asked.
"You can't stop it but you can divert it" Parrish explained.
They went outside and followed the train tracks to the school.
"Okay how the hell do you merge worlds? Okay nowhere in the manual does it say that werewolves can do that. And Scott and I pretty much wrote the manual" Stiles said then he looked to Selene.
"Hey even I can't do that and I've never heard of anyone else doing it either" she said.
"We can't even move between worlds. I mean look what it took to break you out" Scott said.
"We can't move between worlds. But Corey can. He can exist in both worlds" Liam said.
"And he can take people with him" Scott said.
"At Scott's house he pulled a Ghost Rider into our world" Liam went on.
"And at the lacrosse game he brought us into theirs" Scott finished.
"And we all… most of us know that Douglas made Corey disappear I think now we know why" Selene said looking at Stiles.
"What if that's how Douglas is doing it? What if Corey's the key?" Liam said.
"Interesting theory okay? Solid logic it is but he's in there and we're out here. So the only way to save everyone now is to just divert the train" Stiles said.
"We have to find him" Liam said.
"How?" Stiles asked.
"I'm going into the hunt."
"No no no Liam I think you're confused we're trying to get people out of the hunt" Sties said.
"He can get taken by a Ghost Rider" Scott said.
"It's just that's not a pleasant option. I'm speaking from experience" Stiles said.
"I don't need to get taken to get into the hunt" Liam said.
"Okay seems like you got an idea let's disc… Where are you going?" Stiles called out as Liam took off towards the school.
"I'll be back!" Liam yelled back.
"Were we like that?" Stiles asked.
"Worse" Scott replied.
Stiles turned to look at Selene as she laughed.
"I'm sorry but it's true you guys were like that and worse" she said laughing still.
"Parrish said we just have to follow the tracks?" Scott asked smiling.
"Yeah well those lead into the woods. This way back into school" Stiles said.
"You wanna split up?" Scott asked.
"No" Selene said gripping Stiles' hand.
"Never again" Stiles said holding her hand tight.
"Thank god" Scott said patting Stiles on the shoulder.
So all three of them headed off into the woods. They followed the tracks until Scott yanked Stiles, who was still holding Selene's hand, behind a tree.
"Why are we stopping" Stiles asked.
"It's there it can't be this easy" Scott said.
"Yes it can Scott it can be this easy. For once let's do easy" Stiles said walking toward the lever for the tracks.
"Okay" Scott said following.
"Guys Douglas is here somewhere" Selene said scenting the air.
Stiles quickly reached for the lever. Douglas stepped out and snapped the whip around Stiles' wrist yanking him back onto the ground.
"Oh God" Stiles said.
Selene ran and took his hand.
"Not without me" then Douglas yanked the whip making them disappear.
"Nope not easy at all" Stiles said when they landed in the school locker room.
"Never easy" Selene said standing up still holding his hand.
Selene POV- After leaving the locker room they ran into Scott who also was made to disappear.
"Stiles! Damn man are you okay?" Scott asked.
"I think so. I finally saw the girl's locker room. It's not that different it's kind of disappointing" Stiles said.
"I could have just told you that" Selene smiled.
"It's a high school boy's fantasy" Stiles responded.
"What just happened?" Scott asked.
"I don't know I think the worlds I think they're collapsing in on each other" Stiles replied.
"Attention all passengers the train will be arriving in 11 minutes" a voice said over the PA.
"We gotta get back to the diverter" Scott said.
"Yeah" Stiles agreed as they opened the door only for a portal appeared.
This time Selene didn't have a chance to grab Stiles' hand and she ended up in the girl's locker room again slammed into the bench sadly this time she was alone. When she got up to leave a Ghost Rider appeared and shot her in the stomach.
More angry than hurt Selene snarled and dodged the other bullets as she made her way up to the Ghost Rider and sliced her claws over its throat killing it. Then she heard Stiles calling for her.
Stiles POV- "Ow damn it" Stiles said as he hit a locker now in the boys locker room.
Annoyed now Stiles stormed for the door opening it but a Ghost Rider was there. Stiles fought him but it was too strong.
"Selene I can't fight this guy" Stiles said as the Ghost Rider pointed his gun at Stiles' head.
He closed his eyes waiting.
"Hey! Get the hell away from my mate" Selene yelled standing in the doorway bleeding from a bullet wound.
She tackled the Ghost Rider and quickly snapped its neck. Stiles then pulled her into a tight hug in which she held him just as tight.
"We have to stop the train I can't keep losing you. Never again" Selene said.
"You're right. Never again will I be weak and taken from you" Stiles said.
Selene smiled and nodded before they left the locker room.
"Stiles? Stiles is that you?" a voice said down the hallway.
"Mom?" Stiles said.
"Stiles no that's not your mom" Selene said.
"I know who it is I know her voice" Stiles said walking down the hall.
"No it's not it's the Wild Hunt trying to trick you. Stiles please believe me. The Wild Hunt brought her back but she's not real" Selene said looking into Stiles' eyes.
"What do you mean brought her back?" Stiles asked.
"Stiles. I know what you've been through. I know how much you love your father" his mom said walking towards them.
Then she walked through the shadows and came out looking like a Ghost Rider.
"But I love him more" it said.
"Thanks to your little bitch you were able to worm your way back into his memory even from inside the Hunt" the thing that looked like his mom said.
Selene growled at it.
"Yeah worming is one of my skills" Stiles said.
"She was conjured from your dad's pain if he remembers you he can't believe in her" Selene growled softly.
"That's why you have to go."
Selene stepped in front of Stiles claws ready. It took her claws, stopping Selene's slash, and turned them around slicing Selene's throat deeply before grabbing Stiles by the throat and choked him.
"You shouldn't treat your mother that way" it said as Stiles pushed her.
"You're not my mother" Stiles said as she choked him.
He watched Selene bleeding out from her wound she dropped to her knees.
"He believes in me. Dreams so hard to kill" the thing said as it kept choking him.
"But not impossible" his dad said coming around the corner and shooting it.
"Noah your bullets can't hurt me" it said as the bullet passed through it unharmed.
Selene stood up still bleeding and grabbed its arms away from Stiles and behind its back and nodded to his dad. His dad shot again and this time it destroyed the thing that looked like his mom. The bullet however went right into Selene's chest.
Stiles grabbed her before she hit the ground and lifted her into his arms. She used her claws to pull the bullet out but the damage was already done.
"It's okay… be right back" Selene said softly smiling then she died in his arms.
Then the whole building started shaking. Hopefully that meant Scott had stopped the train in time. And just like that everyone was back like nothing ever happened. Selene sucked in a deep breath and smiled.
"Miss anything?"
"We did it" Stiles said.
Selene POV- The next day it was like nothing had happened no one other than those tied to the pack really remembered what happened.
"Have a great summer everyone" their last teacher of the day said.
"No" Stiles said softly stunned.
"To the Seniors I'll see you at graduation" the teacher finished.
"No no no that's it?" Stiles said.
"Last day ever" Scott said smiling.
"Well it just feels so anti-climactic" Stiles said.
"Well there's the whole graduation thing" Lydia said.
"I've gotta go to summer school or I can't do the whole graduation thing" Malia said.
"I've done it so many times it is anti-climactic" Selene said winking a Stiles.
Last night had been perfect between them everything they both ever wanted after all that's happened.
"Let's do it" Scott said getting up the others following.
"No. Come on wait. Guys? This can't be it" Stiles said.
Selene turned off the lights waiting for him by the door.
"I can't believe we're not in high school anymore. Kind of feels like nothing's really changed" Scott said.
"Everything's changed" Stiles said looking at his best friend letting his eyes go Alpha red.
Scott smiled.
Selene wrapped her arm around Stiles' waist her eyes also Alpha red and they all walked out to the parking lot. Stiles immediately got under the hood of his Jeep to tinker with a few things before he put the hood down.
"Okay so Liam since you're the new Alpha…" Stiles said.
"I'm not an Alpha" Liam said.
"Right but you know Alpha-in-training…"
"We'll I'd have to kill an Alpha…"
"Liam. Since you're taking over the most important thing you can remember is that Mason is always gonna be the one who's there to save your ass all the time."
"Well not all the time" Scott said.
"Most of the time though. Which is why I think you're gonna need this" Stiles gave Mason his bat.
"Uh I don't play baseball" Mason said.
"Right neither do I. It's…it's not the point."
"Okay thanks."
"Here you go. Love you guys" Stiles said as Mason took the bat and he and Liam walked off.
"All right. So how do you feel?" Scott asked.
"Amazing dude all my senses are at like 11 now and I don't feel out of control like you were" Stiles laughed.
"You didn't think I'd let him into the pre-FBI program without making sure he can't get himself killed did you?" Selene asked.
"Well I guess were not the same kids running around the woods looking for a body" Scott said smiling.
"No we're not. Here" Stiles handed Scott a key ring with a ton of keys on it.
"What?"
"Well that's the key to your house, another to your room uh it's the master key to the school, Animal Clinic, key to the Sheriff station. Just figured you should have all the copies I secretly made. So yeah. They still need us" Stiles said
"They'll always need us" Scott said.
"And you know I…I need you. You know that."
"I need you too."
"I'm gonna miss you. No really I need you though uh I lost my license in the Hunt so uh you have to drive" Stiles said.
"Your dad is the Sheriff I'm sure he'll let it slide. You drive."
"Scott thank you for…everything. Including him" Selene said then she hugged Scott.
They all got into the Jeep and his dad's voice came over the radio.
"Unit four repeat. You're telling me there's a body in the woods?"
"That's exactly what I'm saying. There's a body in the woods…" Stiles turned off the radio.
Then he looked at Selene and Scott.
Without a word he drove off.
