A/N: Written for the Hook a Prompt Challenge, row 6, prompt 7: veil. Though the Dememtor technically wears a hood, the veil is more metaphorical when talking about the barrier between life and death.
Tried old English, but not sure how well it works.

61. Don't Look Beneath the Dementor's Veil
Say not ye wish to see
beyond thee darkness veil;
'tis not for mortal eyes,
that sight.
Show thy thanks for that veil
instead; the veil that hungry mouth
from your soul.
Drive thy enemy hencewith;
thou shant see that ghoulish mouth
behind thee veil
Lest thy fight or sense deserts thee,
then prey thee veil
remains umoveth.
