76. Drenched by the Rain
Looking back, he realised how lucky they were
to be with her, to have her in his arms
as the rain showered upon them both
Because they'd been so far apart those days
he'd almost despaired of them
ever coming together
But they were together now
under the rain
And it seemed their fighting in those earlier years
had paid off.
(when somebody asked, he said it was on purpose,
though she knew it wasn't)
